@CA_DEM Decay: Endorsement for #MeToo Garcia, and No Endorsements for Statewide Offices

This is really alarming. The California Democratic Party convention could not arrive at a consensus for statewide candidates. A number of contested House Seats are not going to have an endorsed candidate, either, except for the House seats which Democrats really do not have a chance of winning: CD-39 and CD-45.

Cristina Garcia actually received an official endorsement from the California Democratic Party, even though she is currently on voluntary unpaid leave following four accusations of sexual misconduct from previous staffers.

Unbelievable. The California Democratic Party responded that her endorsement, along with a number of others, had already been slated on the consent calendar, and state party rules will not permit the remove of a consent calendar endorsement.

Uh Oh!

And yet ... the state party and activists within the party worked actively and successfully to prevent Tony Mendoza from receiving an endorsement. right? They accomplished getting rid of Touchy Feely Tony, but they couldn't stop Groping Cristina?

Strange ...

Anyway, what about the final breakdown on delegate votes for the official state party endorsements for statewide office?

The state party delegates were unable to arrive at any consensus. This is not pretty for the California Democratic Party, a microcosm of how the corporatist Hillary faction may have all the money, but they have not commanded the respect or the drive of the Bernie-crat progressive faction.

Here is the breakdown on how California Democratic Party delegates voted on statewide candidates:

U.S. Senate:

Kevin de León: 54 percent
Dianne Feinstein: 37 percent
Pat Harris: 5 percent
No Endorsement: 3 percent

This was the must stunning upset of the convention. Senator Dianne Feinstein has pushed a more left-wing tilt since major opposition jumped into the race to defeat her in the general election.

Of course, DiFi has more money than any other candidate running for statewide office, and she has name ID and support (so far) from a wide swatch of Democrats and Independents, and very likely some Republicans. (*UGH*)

Still, she will face a harder fight than expected going into the June primary this year. She will be sucking in a large part of the Democratic Vote, and just maybe a Republican can sneak through. If that happens, it's very likely that this Senate seat could be a little more competitive than last time, since the large and expanding number of hard-left progressives within the Democratic Party, as well as those who have abandoned the Democratic Party, will sit out the election.

California Governor:

Gavin Newsom: 39 percent
Antonio Villaraigosa: 9 percent
John Chiang: 30 percent
Delaine Eastin: 20 percent
No Endorsement: 3 percent

These statistics were particularly interesting.

Not one candidate garnered widespread support. The Democratic Party is truly ripping apart, and the unity which Democratic delegates were hoping to exude to the public is not working out quite as well as hoped.

Gavin Newsom didn't even break 40% among the delegates. John Chiang did noticeably better, as did Delaine Eastin. For the former mayor of Los Angeles to crash and burn as he did, however, spells doom for this state if it's a Dem vs. Dem contest in November. Democrats obviously do not want Villaraigosa.

He is trying to play the moderate card, and he has Republican consultants working on his campaign. Not good.

California Lt. Governor:

Jeff Bleich: 7 percent
Eleni Kounalakis: 41 percent
Ed Hernandez: 42 percent
No Endorsement: 11 percent

Ouch. There are two clear candidates duking it out for Lieutenant Governor. It will really suck to see another Dem vs. Dem Top Two here, too.

California Attorney General:

Dave Jones: 56 percent
Xavier Becerra: 42 percent
No Endorsement: 2 percent

Wow! Xavier Basura didn't get the endorsement, and he received less support than Dave Jones! OUCH.

I wish that we could deport both of them, though, and settle on Steve Bailey for Attorney General. We need someone who will stand strong with President Trump and AG Jeff Sessions to enforce all immigration laws and deport all illegal aliens.

Dave Jones, the current Insurance Commissioner, got the highest delegate percentage of all the candidates running for statewide offices and contending for the nomination. That's pretty shocking, I must say.

How was he able to accomplish that?

Final Reflection

I heard a whole bunch of negative voices out there telling me that there would not be one Republican on the ballot during the general election for California statewide office.

With the widening dissension among Democrats, and with the number of powerful, outspoken Republicans who are engaging the public and the media, I believe that we will actually see some competition in the state of California.

Can't Spin This: More #MeToo Harrassment from #MeToo Champion Cristina Garcia

More #MeToo allegations against this leading #MeToo advocate in Sacramento.

Cristina Garcia should just resign now and get it over with. She is broken goods. Who would have thought that someone who had championed standing up to corruption would turn out to be so corrupt herself.

I think of the William Butler Yeats poem "The Second Coming":

The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

The Cristina Garcia sexual-harassment scandal expanded when a former aide said the California assemblywoman suggested staffers join her in a game of “spin the bottle” and fired him after he complained.

I respect the staffer speaking out about this abuse of power. She was in charge of her office, and she would put her staffers through these odious practices. What were they going to say? The staffers of today become the candidates of tomorrow, and they want to ensure that they get elected without anyone stopping them.

First reported by Politico, the complaint filed Saturday with the state Department of Fair Employment & Housing by a former Garcia staffer identified as J. David Kernick follows allegations reported Feb. 8 that the Bell Gardens Democrat tried to grope a male legislative aide and a male lobbyist.

At least this whistleblower was willing to be named for the public. Some of the allegations are hidden under a shroud of secrecy, which leads us to question whether they are true or not.

The charges have received particular attention because Garcia, 40, has been seen as one of the leaders of the #MeToo movement, decrying a culture of sexual harassment by powerful men in California government.

When Kevin De Leon and Antonio Villaraigosa were pleading for support from the Santa Monica Democratic Club earlier this month, they talked about controlling men and making sure that they respect women and honor their concerns. Repeatedly I had to call out and remind them of Cristina Garcia. Women abuse men, too, and there is a disconcerting number of females exploiting their own position of power to prey on younger men and boys.

That too is wrong, that too is sexual harassment, and women too need to be held accountable.

Garcia’s legislative district is one of five in Los Angeles County currently without a representative. Assemblymen Raul Bocanegra and Matt Dababneh resigned and Sen. Tony Mendoza is on leave after harassment allegations. Assemblyman Sebastian Ridley-Thomas resigned, citing health problems.

Los Angeles County is a swamp of sexual perversion, which includes State Senator Ricardo Lara as well as Speaker of the Assembly Anthony Rendon. They both need to be flushed, and we both need to see better people representing the citizens of the state of California in Sacramento.

Kernick said in the official complaint and an interview with Politico that in 2014, when he was a field representative to Garcia, she engaged in a night of heavy drinking and urged about a half-dozen staffers to play spin the bottle, the game in which players end up kissing.

Garcia has a serious drinking problem. Who knew? Actually, lots of people get "lit up" in Sacramento. It's just something that happens a lot. So much drinking, womanizing--and now "man"-izing has become prominent.

Garcia “was seemingly not critical of [Kernick’s] work until after he questioned the appropriateness of her suggestion that after a fundraiser at a whiskey bar that [he] sit on the floor of her hotel room and play spin the bottle,” the complaint said.

Kernick had every right to call out Assemblywoman Garcia's "spin the bottle" perversity.

Kernick said that after “protesting this sexual harassment,” he was written up for insubordination and fired. Kernick said the write-up prevented him from finding another job in politics.

WOW! Then Kernick was pushed out of politics altogether for speaking out. This is what is happening in our political culture now. Men and women of moral merit are excluded, because they don't want to play along with the corrupt, inappropriate games which have become an untenable mainstay in legislative circles.

Kernick’s complaint said Garcia, a third-term assemblywoman, was “very disparaging to the staff and others, used vulgar language, discussed topics inappropriate for the workplace and showed herself to be very vindictive in nature.” Kernick said that after he was injured in a car accident in 2014, Garcia openly questioned his need for a medical leave in front of other employees.

WOW! I thought that Democrats were all about inclusion and compassion!

Another ex-staffer and a lobbyist told Politico of heavy drinking in Garcia’s offices, which they said featured a refrigerator to store wine and a refrigerator with a beer tap on top.

Garcia’s office did not immediately respond to a Southern California News Group request for comment Monday.

Final Reflection

When does this insanity stop?

Cristina Garcia needs to go. She has too much baggage now, and there does not seem to be anything left that will put an to this. Wow! Just wow is all I can write at this point.

Cristina Garcia: More #MeToo Allegations

Wow, it's gone from bad to worse for Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia (D-Bell Gardens).

LA Weekly wrote their own
secular hagiography for Garcia
Just two months ago, she was featured on the cover of LA Weekly, presenting herself as an icon of grassroots progressivism standing up to the Democratic misogynist establishment of Sacramento.

Now she's been exposed as another sexual paramour in the state capital, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. She made herself the face of the fight against #MeToo sexual harrassment and exploitation in the state legislature.

She was actually engaging it herself, it seems, too!

The hypocrisy is just stifling.
Garcia's own party sat on Melendez' whistle-blower
legislation--and Garcia harassed people herself!

The latest sex-harassment scandal in the state Legislature took an interesting turn the other day when four of state Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia’s former staffers alleged that she “spoke graphically” about having sex with other lawmakers in their offices.

WOW! And the staffers just put up with this? They didn't say or do anything about it?!

According to the ex-staffers, Garcia said having sex with other elected officials “was a good way of getting information,” their lawyer, Daniel Gilleon, wrote in a letter to the Assembly Rules Committee.

Ugh! When does this disgusting behavior end? It's Sodom and Gomorrah up there, and no one seems ot know when this litany of lust and licentiousness will end.

The former staffers declined to name the lawmakers “out of respect for their privacy,” Gilleon said. And the lawyer wouldn’t name the former staffers, saying they might want jobs again in the Legislature and figured going public would hurt their chances.

The former staffers also said Garcia pressured them into drinking in the office and at outside events, belittled her aides and often disparaged other lawmakers.

Garcia, D-Bell Gardens (Los Angeles County), was a leader in the state Capitol’s #MeToo movement until a former staffer and a lobbyist alleged that she had groped them. She is now on a leave of absence.

In a Facebook posting responding to Gilleon’s letter, Garcia wrote, “ I will address each of these issues individually after the investigations into these allegations are closed.”

This is getting creepier by the minute.

It should make for an interesting investigation — one that could make some lawmakers very nervous.

Reflection

The sexual perversion rolling out Sacramento is roiling the whole political process in the state of California. This lawlessness has been going for decades, most likely, and yet very little has been done about it.

Until now. I credit this turn to President Trump's election and the scurrying efforts of the rat-like Democrats and Republican enablers who have been covering up for all of this disgusting behavior. The political class in both parties have simply gotten too powerful and thus all too comfortable with siuch profligacy.

Will these stormy allegations make for a big switch in the state legislature and California politics? Not sure what to think at this point. The state Republican Party leaders don't seem to want to lead, but would rather embrace the slow, hospice-like decline of GOP registration and influence. One report now indicates that GOP registration is about to sink below Independents and unaffiliated voters in this state. This is nothing short of a disaster for everyone. One party rule has created this climate of sexual misconduct.

A leader ...
but not the way intended ..
Does anyone think that a different set of Democrats in Sacramento will change any of this?

Look now, and one of the biggest champions of ending sexual abuse was herself an abuser! The people of the state of California need to take back their state, and not just through a political party vehicle. Both parties need a serious exorcism!

Email from Democratic Staffer: Sacramento is Far Worse Than You Think

A Sacramento Democratic Staffer decided to lot off a some steam about all the crime, corruption, and just plain creepy behavior overwhelming the state capitol.

It's pretty gritty stuff, and gives us the whole who's-who of Democratic perverts, predators, pedophile, and the long list of enablers who allowed this despicable behavior to go on unchecked.

Below I have reprinted the entire contents of the mail.

I will let these damning allegations speak for themselves at this time:

Meet the Cast of Characters Who Brought Down Raul Bocanegra

Because “Everyone Is Human” … Except Straight, Single, Male Legislators!

And “everyone is innocent until proven guilty, everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, everyone deserves a second chance,” etc. except straight, single male legislators.
Hypocrisy, puritanism, and a witch hunt hit Sacramento.
Eric “the Accused Pederast” Bauman: During his recent campaign for party chair, Bauman faced nasty allegations that he had had inappropriate relationships with young males. Newspapers documented well both the extensive whisper campaign Bauman faced and his reaction. Bauman insisted that smear campaigns happen in politics, and that he was the victim of one. Yet the minute Bocanegra was accused of far less serious things, Bauman hinted he should step down.

Hypocrisy: Bauman has allegedly groped, fondled, and sexually harassed half of the attractive males in politics, gay or straight, including many who were allegedly underage. Why does he get to sit in judgment on single male legislators? Why does the press not investigate? Is it because he’s gay?
Cristina “the DV Slumlord” Garcia: Garcia, despite allying herself with poverty pimps, is one of the wealthiest members of the Assembly, as Garcia and her family are well-known slumlords in Southeast LA. Yet Garcia violates every disclosure law with her Form 700s. Some years, she deigns to fill them out correctly revealing the extensiveness of her holdings, but most often she doesn’t. The number of sexual assaults and domestic violence calls that have occurred at Garcia and her parent’s slummy apartments are truly epic. Screen tenants better so domestic violence perpetrators don’t continue to victimize at your premises? Nah. Put in better lighting to increase public safety? Nah.
Hypocrisy: Garcia cares about these issues only if they advance her political career, not if they cost her money.

Anthony “Political Calculus” Rendon and Nancy “Rules Should Do Something!” Skinner. These two powerful lawmakers, as Speaker and former Chair of Assembly Rules, respectively, have known about the worst harassment cases for well over a decade and they didn’t do a goddamn thing until it was politically convenient. Let’s repeat that for those not paying attention: these two let the genuine predators roam free and the victims obtain no justice, until Rendon faced a speakership challenge from Bocanegra and Skinner wanted to kill Hertzberg’s chances of being pro tem. Disgusted much?
Hypocrisy: Their several floor speeches where they talk about folks in prison deserving a second chance. A man can beat a man near death, pistol whip a guy, beat a guy with a baseball bat, etc. and these liberals will talk about how society must give that person understanding and love. Even when these violent perps help foster a culture of fear and abuse in the neighborhoods they terrorize. So if you’re keeping score: a man violently assaults a man, and these libs will advocate letting him out of jail. A man grabs a woman’s ass, and these libs want to destroy him. You though the Puritans died out in the 1600s.
Jessica “Drug Haze Revenge” Yas. Yas has allegedly been fired, asked to leave, asked to resign, or faced major discord at every job she’s briefly held, and has stated to many in politics that she’ll have her revenge...and political office soon herself. After allegedly putting behind her a phase of alleged massive drug use, she wants to go full Rolling Stone. Yet she’s solicited numerous lawmakers again and again for funds (personal and political), jobs for her drug friends, and then reacted bizarrely when told no.

Hypocrisy: Yas took a position with Antonio Villaraigosa after his well-reported womanizing took place. He’s some with a real, extensively documented history of treating women poorly, yet she’s supporting him for Governor. Why?
Amy “Foulmouth” Brown: Amy Brown is a walking hostile work environment. Young lobbyists and staff, male and female, have long been subject to her excruciatingly detailed rants about her sex life, her body parts, etc. To give an example, young lobbyists and staffers had to listen in horror recently as she provided a group of male lawmakers every detail about “shaving her pussy.” This is a textbook hostile work environment.
Hypocrisy: Had a male acted like this, he’d face scandal. Plain and simple.
Adama “Do As I Say, Not As I Do” Iwu: It was an open secret in Sacramento that Iwu was allegedly having an affair with a powerful lawmaker. Mysteriously, the affair began when he got a powerful chairmanship, and ended when the chairmanship concluded. Some people said she was trading sex for influence.
Hypocrisy: Iwu’s behavior was completely inappropriate. It helps create the culture that she now complains of. You go girl? No. Where was the feminist empathy for the man’s wife? Where was your feminist thought, about the young female lobbyists who WEREN’T sleeping with lawmakers, and thus who didn’t get their bills treated better?
Erin “Do As I Say, Not As I Do” Norwood. When she was a little younger, Norwood aggressively courted lawmakers. Whether it was sending them naked pictures of herself via text, or propositioning and sleeping with a then-married Speaker. In other words, she had no problem making aggressive advances, many of which were unwanted. But then again society turns a blind eye against a young female blonde’s unwanted advances, because double standard much?
Hypocrisy: Now that she benefited from the environment she created, and allegedly traded sex for favors, she wishes to complain about it. It has nothing to do with the fact she’s pushing 40.

The LA Times’ Ethical Standards. When you drill it down, several of the women mentioned in the article on Raul just accused him of being a sometimes clueless single male. Who hasn’t sometimes misinterpreted a potential love interest and moved in for a kiss awkwardly? Under the LA Times’ new journalistic standards, anonymous accusations from opportunists, for things that occur daily at every high school in America, are enough to doom a good man’s career. Many of the people cited in the story subsequently gave money to Raul, asked him for political favors, etc. Did the Times question their motives and behavior and timing? No. They just piled on. The Times called dozens of people who vouched for Raul. The mix was probably 40 saying he was normal and 5-7 saying the opposite. But who in politics doesn’t have 5-7 enemies? This was a shocking lapse of editorial standards.
Hypocrisy: Will the Times look within and root out its own people who have done this? Hard working people don’t have time to date and they don’t go to places like church to get set up. Often their careers are too public to try online dating. So many date within their fields. Will the Times runs stories on its own editors and bosses who have done stupid things like moving in for a kiss somewhat awkwardly? Will it ruin their careers too?
In installment two, we will cover Christine Pelosi, Paula Treat, Samantha Corbin, and others.

Assm. Cristina Garcia (D-Downey) Rejects My "There Ought to Be a Law" Suggestion

Assemblywoman Christian Garcia issued out a proposal to invite her constituents to suggest a new law.

Since she represents areas close to Cudahy and Huntington Park, I asked her to pass a law which would require citizenship before anyone could sit on an advisory board or a commission, or any position of public trust in the state of California.

Surprisingly enough, she got back to me.

Her letter was specific to my request, even though she denied it:

"Thank you for your bill idea on requirements to volunteer. Recently the city of Huntington Park named two individuals to the parks and recreation commission and the health and education commission. As volunteers, these two individuals wil work with other appointees to the commission on how to improve the cit  of Hunnington Park's [sic] well-being. Civic engagement has been low in this area in the last few years. These individuals are setting a positive example for the community and for younger individuals that want to participate in the future, as well."

She then wrote to me that the winner of her "There Ought to be a Law" contest came from a resident in Bellflower, which would provide equal unemployment benefits for school employees who typically earn minimum wage.

Of course, this letter came to me before the $15 wage hike was forced down every Californian's throats, or into their wallets.

This "ought to be a law" AB 2197 basically enables people to continue collecting a paycheck when they do not work over the summer session. Who sponsored this bill? The SEIU, of course!

They have been claiming for more easy money for unemployed seasonal workers in public schools for years. The union questionnaire presses prospective school board candidates for their views on these and other non-essential, non-educational issues.

Indeed!

Final Reflection

The letter was filled with typos and spelling errors.

Key titles which needed capitals received none.

Did anyone proofread this letter before mailing it to me?!

She refuses to write the words "illegal alien" or even mention the illegal status of the two illegals sitting on the commissions in Huntington Park.

This abuse must cease.

We are a nation of laws, not sentiment. If the four city councilmembers of Huntington Park who approved the offensive, nonsensical appointments of Julian Zatarain and Francisco Medina cannot understand the need to respect the rule of law, then they need to be run out of town on the first train.

Deport the lawless city councilmembers.

Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia
(D-Downey)

As for Cristina Garcia, does she not realize that the low civic participation in these regions stems precisely from the unfathomable lawlessness taking over the region? Why should anyone get involved in local politics when the Mexican Mafia decides who wins or loses? Who lives or dies? Which businesses profit and which fail?

Shame on her for caving to Big Amnesty and not looking out for the legal residents of California!

Call her office, and tell her to Put Americans First!
