The Power of Righteous Indignation: Joy Behar Apologizes for Anti-Christian Bigotry

It's a good day for Christians in their fight against the abusive, corrupt, irreligious, anti-Christian bigotry in the media.

It all started with perennial anti-Trump bigot Joy Behar smearing Vice President Mike Pence and his Christian faith on the liberal kaffeeklatch yak-fest "The View":

"It's one thing to talk to Jesus. It's another when He talks to you. That's called 'mental illness'."
Wow! Can you say 'bigotry'? Behar also mocked Pence for his public propriety, in that he does not meet with or dine with any woman by herself except for his wife Karen. That is wisdom to the fullest, especially nowadays in the midst of the overwhelming #MeToo controversies exposing media, academic, entertainment, and political leaders. Billy Graham never took his secretary to lunch, either, since it would be both a bad witness and an unwise temptation for him to take any women not his wife out on any meeting or lunch.

It's just wisdom!

Of course, the wisdom of God is foolishness to fallen man.

The blowback against such hateful rhetoric was immediate and long-lasting. Meghan McCain slammed her co-host live and in person.

Toni Lahren, not necessarily the most outspoken of social conservatives, excoriated her:

One of the critics in the above segment believed that it was unwise to go after the The View's henpecking hatemongers. "Why go after her? She gets the ratings?" That kind of thinking reminds me of the Establishment GOP response to media shaming over the last 20 years. President Reagan talked past the media, and George W. Bush would ignore the media. This time, however, instead of ignoring the program, Christians around the country slammed the hosts, the producers, and the advertisers.

Not only that, but outspoken pastors like Robert Jeffress slammed her hateful comments directly and without reserve. She was not being funny, but definitively sharing her disdain for President Trump, his Vice President, and the cultural fabric on which this country is based:

Damage control ensued within a week after Behar's notorious remarks.

Initially, Whoopi Goldberg and company tried to justify those comments as playful banter. Joy Behar claimed that she was a Christian herself (whatever that means, but I find that hard to believe, honestly). Behar then went to great length to justify herself, and even claimed that she was the victim:

Meghan McCain called out the anti-tolerant hypocrisy of her liberal colleagues and liberals in general in the country. It is quite astonishing how much abuse and intolerance which conservatives, Christians, and other tradition-based activists face on many fronts. Of course, in signature fashion, Whoopi shut down McCain, disputing the charge that they are intolerant: another act of intolerance. Such self-righteous justification did not pass muster for the tens of thousands of Christians who called the producers and the advertisers, as well as the corporate heads for ABC/Disney.

The ABC leadership got antsy, as expected, and they compelled Behar to apologize to Vice President Mike Pence. To his further credit, Pence was satisfied with a private apology, but informed her that her remarks were not just offensive to him because of the personal attack, but had offended millions of Christians across the country.

His resolve for her to apologize to the entire Christian community across the country was novel, noble, and righteous. It reminds me of the same calculated outrage from Paul the Apostle after his wrongful imprisonment as a citizen Rome:

"But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out." (Acts 16:37)

I commend Vice President Pence for not letter Behar get away with a private apology. This kind of arrogant conduct has gone on unchallenged for decades. In the era of Trump, in which corporate media have been exposed for their partisan zealotry and bigotry, plus their unveiled disdain for Middle America, it was both wise and good for Pence to press Behar to issue a public apology.

And she did:

I loved hearing the following words come out of her mouth:

"I think Mike Pence is right."

WOW! Would anyone have ever expected this arrogant, narrow-minded, left-wing harpy to admit, to acknowledge that our conservative Christian Vice President was right about anything? She had to this time. I imagine she must have tried to choke on those words.

"I was raised to respect everyone's religious faith."

I won't challenge this remark. Perhaps her parents did indeed teach her to respect the religious beliefs of others. It's discouraging and amazing to what extend Hollywood drowns out this civil piety and replaced it with the echo chamber of self-righteous mockery. Behar's apology signals how weak corporate media have became, that they no longer get away with this elitist smugness.

"And I fell short of that. I sincerely apologize for what I said."

WOW! I just love hearing those words. It really is refreshing. These left-wing harpies have said incendiary things about Republicans, conservatives, Christians, Middle America, and hid behind the corporate protections of a fawning media and accomodationist political culture.

Thank God for Trump, and Thank God for Mike Pence. Their political resolve is paying off and blessing millions around the country. Now they have encouraged everyday Americans to challenge the media's statist, bigoted status quo. This latest cultural victory reminds of the stirring promises which all Christians receive because of Jesus and His Finished Work:

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 54:17)

Indiana GOP: Indiana Joe is Really DC Donnelly at Heart

Hypocrisy Watch:
Democrat Donnelly Changes His Mind (Again!) & Attacks Vice President Pence
He's at it again! Less than one week after claiming that he votes in line with the Trump-Pence agenda 62% of the time, Democrat Joe Donnelly is already reversing course.

Democrat Donnelly's campaign this week sent an email to supporters distancing himself from President Donald Trump's administration and attempting to raise money, all while disparaging Vice President Mike Pence's work for Hoosiers both at the Statehouse and in Washington, D.C.

Less than one week -- 144 hours, to be exact -- separate Donnelly's claim that he votes alongside President Trump and his attack on our own Vice President Pence.

But, of course, this isn't the first time we've seen Donnelly zigzag across the board on major issues. Take these examples where we saw two Donnellys -- Indiana Joe and DC Donnelly -- within days of each other:
  • Indiana Joe: On Sept. 5, 2017, Donnelly told a reporter that, “a lot of those Trump voters are Joe Donnelly voters."
  • DC Donnelly: Just days later on Sept. 14, 2017, Donnelly said during a podcast with former Obama aide David Axelrod that people who voted for President Trump don't represent "who America is" (fast forward to the 0:53:30 mark for this comment).
  • Indiana Joe: Last week, Donnelly circulated a press release claiming that he votes in line with President Trump's priorities 62 percent of the time.
  • DC Donnelly: This week, Donnelly sent out an email attempting to raise money while attacking Vice President Pence.
We think that Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle said it best:

"Democrat Joe Donnelly changes his position as frequently as the weather changes in Indiana. Just last week, he was claiming he supports the Trump-Pence agenda, and this week he's attacking Vice President Mike Pence. I've never before seen a candidate like Donnelly who tries to fool Hoosiers into thinking he's everything to everyone. Through all of the contradicting rhetoric, though, it's clear that when it matters most -- on issues like cutting federal taxes and fixing health care -- he stands directly against Hoosier values and the Trump-Pence priorities in Washington."

Indiana Joe, DC Donnelly...at the end of the day, we know it's all just Democrat Donnelly, and that it's time for him to go.

TRUMP PENCE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
02.17.18

BROWARD COUNTY TRAGEDY
On Wednesday, a Broward County Florida High School came under attack in a shooting rampage that resulted in the deaths of 17 innocent victims and numerous other injuries. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the entire Broward County community. As President Trump said in response to the news: “No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school.”
REBUILDING AMERICA
Did you know that it took only one year to build the Empire State Building? A remarkable engineering achievement! Today, major infrastructure projects for bridges, tunnels, roadways, and more can take up to ten years just to get permits! And our infrastructure is critical for our growing economy. That’s why President Trump unveiled a sweeping plan this week to modernize America’s infrastructure, and called on Congress to deliver a plan that will: Promote state, local and private sector investments; Allow local officials to make the decisions; Invest 50 billion dollars in Rural America; Eliminate red tape to limit the permit process to no more than two years; And invest in America’s most important asset: our people.
FREEDOM, EQUALITY, AND DIGNITY
This year, President Trump declared the theme of Black History Month to be: “African Americans in Times of War.” This is a special tribute to African Americans in our history who fought bravely for our country while they didn’t fully share in the very rights they were fighting to protect. Just this week, the President and First Lady welcomed black leaders for a special event at the White house, during which President Trump stated poignantly, “…just like so many African Americans throughout our history who have struggled and sacrificed for freedom, we must do our part to make that vision (of freedom, equality and dignity) real for every single American.”
THE PRESIDENT’S FOUR PILLARS
As Congress debates the illegal immigration issue, you may wonder why Democrats didn’t quickly agree to a deal with President Trump when he offered them even more than they were seeking to resolve the DACA dispute. Regardless of their political reasons, the President has been very clear that all four pillars he has outlined must be addressed in any deal, including: Finding a legal and compassionate fix to DACA; Securing the border, including $25 billion authorized for a border wallEnding chain migrationand Eliminating the visa lottery system. This framework has the support of the vast majority of Americans, so the time is now or never for Democrats to become part of the solution.

Equality California Hate, Lies About Trump/Pence

Now this just takes Fake News to a whole new level.

I have never been so disgusted with the depths that left-wing interest groups will go to in pushing their corrupt, anti-family, anti-life agenda.

Check out the smear issued by Equality California against President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence

Equality California

Friends,

Donald Trump has made dozens of hateful and bigoted comments over the past year, but none have been so explicitly violent toward LGBTQ people as when he was discussing Mike Pence and the LGBTQ community:

This level of bigotry has no place in our country, and is despicable coming from the White House. We’ve spent decades fighting for civil rights, social justice, and the freedom to openly love one another -- and we are not about to have our progress rolled back by this mean-spirited Administration.

As the nation’s largest, statewide LGBTQ civil rights organization, Equality California is fighting back against hatred, bigotry, and discrimination -- even when it comes from the President of the United States. But look, we cannot do it alone.

Equality California is on the ground in Washington D.C. fighting against Donald Trump, Mike
Pence and their blatantly anti-LGBTQ agenda. In order to keep up the fight against these repeated attacks, we need to stand together. Can we count on you to chip in $10 or more to stand up to Donald Trump’s and Mike Pence’s hate?

What is this?!

I looked into this story.

There are two anonymous sources who relate the above comment coming out of President Trump's mouth.

There is nothing to corroborate this hate. This is fraud at its worst, and this anti-American baiting needs to be confronted at once.

There can be no equality with a recognition of the truth, and there can be no honest discussion for doing what is best for California if interest groups like Equality California push lies and misleading headlines from the corrupt, marginalized press.

Shame on them!

And another thing--why are they busy agitating for causes in Washington DC? They are based in California, are they not?!

44th March for Life in Washington: YUGE Success!

The Pro-life movement feared the worst under the Obama Administration.
Obama issued an executive order, which ended the Mexico City Gag Order, and directed taxpayer dollars to fund abortions overseas.

He also vetoed legislation that would defund Planned Parenthood, even after undercover videos exposed the murderous abortion mill for selling baby parts.

Unbelievable.

With the Trump Administration, there is renewed hope for the Pro-Life Movement.
Trump has reinstated the Mexico City Gag Order.

He has promised to sign legislation which will ban taxpayer funding for abortions.

He also wished the 44th March for Life the best and gave them his support.

What’s more, this March for Life featured a Vice-President speaking at the event for the first time!
Check out Vice-President Mike Pence’s speech here:

Congresswoman Mia Love (R-UT) also attended, telling the crowds that her parents almost aborted her, but chose life.

And look at her today!

The crowds this year rivaled the March for Life parade in 2016. AS terrible blizzard discouraged many from attending. In 2017 600,000 people attended.

Incredible!

Donald Trump also faulted the media for spending more time cover the Women’s Marches across the country, which promoted abortion, transgenderism, and vulgar phrases, but ignored the March for Life.

In fact, the Women’s Marches received 129 times more coverage than the pro-life demonstrations!

This is the kind of resurgence that we need in our country.

We who hold to truth and righteouusness, who pay attention to facts and not just to petty politics are not going to win by trying to play nice or fight for the center.

We need to fight for what is right.

This is truly inspiring. It's only been one week, and already Trump has accomplished more than Obama could have done in 8 years.

Trump is making Americans Proud Again.

Conservatives like me are now assured that they are getting the policies and principles they wanted, fully enacted for this county.

Trump tweeted his support for the March for Life:
And then President shared:
But he also took the media to task for spending far more time on the abusive and corrupt Women's March and spending almost no time at all on the March for Life:

God Bless Donald Trump: And to the Naysayers: "You're Fired!"

WOW!

Just plain wow!

I went into Election 2016 with high hopes, but I must say that I was not totally surprised …
Oh, OK, I WAS!

Look, I was convinced that Trump would carry New Hampshire along with all the states that George W. Bush had carried in 2004 (except for Colorado and New Mexico), plus that one house seat in Maine.
Good enough, right?

But Trump overdelivered!

At a victory party in Redondo Beach, I turned into a right-wing version of Howard Dean: “He won Pennsylvania! And Michigan! And Wisconsin! And he’s gonna take the White House! Yeaaaagh!”
Some people looked at me like I was crazy. Anyone would have been crazy to think that Trump would sweep the Rust Belt.

I had my hopes, but they became a reality on Election Day.

What a deal!

My South Bay home is generally a sleepy place in a blue state—so blue, that even reliably Republican Orange County, CA took on a slight azure shade on Election Night. Yet even with a sad turn of events in California (another article for another day), there is too much to rejoice about.
And that’s just the Presidential election (About the US Senate … another article, another day).
I rejoice with the #NotTrumps, of which I was one. Hey, give me a break. I needed a record or something to trust. Now that I see he is the real deal, I am ready to make deals with this President.
I rejoice with the cynics who are simply glad that Hillary was stopped.

But there is so much about what happened on Election night!

1. Instead of amnesty-hispandering on amnesty, Trump talked building a big beautiful wall.  And he won! Build the wall, repeal Obamacare, rescind the executive orders, then Lock Her Up and throw away the key! How could the RNC autopsy group have gotten their 2012 loss so wrong? Because they were listening to people who had been indoctrinated with a media line that the answer to a political party’s problems lies in rejecting Americanism and giving into a leftist, elitist, globalist i.e. Democratic agenda.

2. Trump actually outperformed Mitt Romney with “minorities”. I believe that these numbers will trend for the better as more Americans—regardless of their skin color—recognize that conservatism is for everyone, a color-neutral agenda which benefits the working man as much as the billionaire, with no cronyism and no other favoritism than God’s grace.

The American Dream is for everyone, without hand-outs or bigger government at the expense of individual liberty.

3. The trade deals!  NAFTA, TPP, OMG! The trade deals have been raw deals for this country. I admit that I haven’t paid attention to how slanted they were toward the politically connected corporations at the expense of every one of us regarding our international trade. Don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with able-bodied citizens forming a business partnership, but no company should get an easy deal or better regulations because they know a guy in Washington DC. That game ends today.

4. Evangelical Christians, all voters of faith turned out in YUGE numbers.  Finally, they realized that sitting out this election was not an option. Dinesh D’Souza’s cautionary speech to Liberty University was a welcome reality check. We need to put our principles in practice, not just hold meetings, rant about the state of affairs, but not worth with what we’ve got. A red sea of Biblical moralist is washing away the Left-wing filth that defines the Obama Administrations’ tattered, teetering legacy.

5. The pollsters were all blown out of the water. Aside from the one or two who had predicted a Brexit victory earlier this year, pollsters have egg on their face, along with the rest of the breakfast banquet. I just loved seeing those arrogant bean-counting academics getting kicked in the teeth, and then have to a muster a smile and apologize at length.

Larry Sabato was groveling and rolling all over his website: “Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa!”  Here’s why the pollsters were wrong (if they were genuinely tying to be accurate): the massive Trump-tsunami does not give a Wikileaks drip-drop about academic opinions on elections. They don’t read Sabato, Real Clear Politics, etc. They just want their country back, and they want leaders who respect them and promise to “Make America Great Again.”

Those “people” looked down on by Beverly Hills supermodels, public sector union bosses, La Raza activists, and anyone who lives and breathes on a university campus—those “forgotten men and women” do not answer polls, never get the calls, and just hang up the phone because they are too busy living their lives, raising their families, enjoying or trying to hold onto their American Dream.
Pollsters don’t understand these dynamics. Even free-market enthusiasts like Libertarian Cheerleader John Stossel missed it. Interesting enough, he released an article on Election Day affirming a Clinton victory with a bare GOP hold on Congress.

WRONG!

However, I agree with US Senator Rand Paul, that Sabato, FiveThirtyEight.com, etc. were spinning numbers, doing everything they could to stifle the Trump vote. This time, We the People were wise to it. Let’s never forget what happened to Virginia US Senate candidate Ed Gillespie on Election Night 2014. Polls with double-digit downers for our candidates will no longer serve as the last word on anyone’s viability. Never again.

In 2014, I was jumping out of my seat, then trolling the local Democratic club leader when Republicans took back the US Senate. This year, for three days straight I have been celebrating this consummate GOP winning streak!

Just awesome!

If nothing else, this Trump-tastic victory radiates a new birth of freedom and a total abrupt disdain for the arrogant, elitst, globalist phalanx of K Street, Wall Street, and the New York Times Fifth Avenue chattering classes.

God Bless Donald Trump!

As for the media, the GOP Establishment, the lying press and their handlers, and all the Democratic party hacks: “You’re Fired!

Mike Pence for VP?

So, Donald Trump is choosing Mike Pence as a running mate.

At least that's the news I have read from the conservative websites and a little dabbling from CNN.

He had a hard time keeping the news to himself.

Let's hope the pause for an announcement following the Nice France attacks will change his mind.,

Pence is not worth two pence to some critics, and for me, he was not the best choice.

Then again, this choice was not about winning over voters like me, who are not that large in the scope of electoral statistics.

Mike Pence (Gage Skidmore)

Ann Coulter predicted that the VP pick would be his first mistake.

Again, like me, Coulter is not the target audience Trump has to consider with his VP choice.

He needs to shore up concerned and fearful Evangelicals, conservatives, and libertarians very worried about Trump's track-record.

So far, those key demographics are warming up to Trump because of the Pence pick.

Influential conservatives in California have told me that they love Pence as the candidate.

Here are my initial thoughts about the Indiana Governor.

This man could not stand up to the Big Gay Hate Machine in Indiana when this reddest of red states wanted to protect the First Amendment rights of all businesses.

He has been a terrible executive for the Hoosier state, according to other sources..
He drank the Obamacare Medicaid kool-aid!

The conservative media pundits gave him a partial pass, however, because his program instituted work requirements along with Health Savings Accounts.

Seriously!

Mike Pence had thrown his hat in the ring for President. He did not last long, but at the time, he was  one of the most principled, consistently conservative members of the House.

When he became governor, however, his tenacity for fiscal discipline and social conservatism faced a few more bumps. A legislator only runs an office--maybe two or three.

A governor is responsible for the entire state.

Indiana is no small commitment, and Pence had quite an act to follow: Mitch Daniels.

So, I may not think Mike Pence was the best candidate for VP.

We all know that Ann Coulter was not too thrilled.

But Trump needed to choose someone who would appeal to the unsure conservatives.

Coulter became a Trump cheerleader long ago. Trump did not want need to wind the unstrung commentariat or the populists.

He needed to assure fiscal conservatives and social conservatives.

He needed to give some kind of calm consistency to his ticket.

He has succeeded.

Pence is the VP nom, and most people are not really talking about him.

That will work for me.
