Massachusetts RINO Tom Mountain: Homophobic Bigot

The Massachusetts GOP has a problem.

It has homophobic leadership. Homophobic in the sense that they are literally "afraid of homos", as opposed to a profound, principled dislike of their behaviors.

Tom Mountain, Homophobic Bigot

The current Vice-Chair of the Massachusetts GOP, Tom Mountain, has gone on a tear defaming members of the Massachusetts GOP because they believe in natural marriage, life, and family.

That is truly homophobic. Mountain is so afraid of upsetting LGBT interests in the state of Massachusetts, that he will do whatever he can to shame people who speak up for natural marriage, life and family. He's a homophobic bigot.

The particular fight revolves around Massachusetts GOP State Committeewoman Deborah Martell, who wisely and properly declared that children need a mom and a day. Her remarks denounced a gay "Republican" named Jeffrey Sossa-Paquette who adopted children, all while being falsely married to another man.

Jeffrey Sossa-Paquette, a self-loathing bigot
who does not care about children

Here's what she wrote:

“I heard he was a ‘married’ homosexual man, who adopted children. I was sickened to hear this ..."

She made this statement privately in an email. Frankly, more people should be disgusted by it! The bigoted LGBT militant Sossa-Paquette insisted on making it public so that he could shame her and then "cancel" her.

Sadly, Republican "leadership" in Massachusetts feels compelled to LGBT and accommodate it. Tom Mountain is the worst example, acting as a failed Vice-Chair of the MAGOP, hoping that he can get the top spot by throwing MAGOP Chairman Jim Lyons under the bus.

This LGBT virtue-signaling is disgusting. There are children involved, for starters, and then there's the shameful disregard for the very basis of our culture, or for any civilization, for that matter.

Check out the nonsense that Tom Mountain spouted off about Deborah Martell:

"What she said reinforces every negative stereotype about Republicans, that we're backwards, we're intolerant, we don't accept people of other persuasions," said Tom Mountain, vice chair of the Massachusetts GOP.

If one does a proper review of history, people will find that homosexuality and other sexual paraphilias are actually quite old, backward, and unthinking. True progress ensues in every culture which values and promotes the nuclear family, rejects sexual degeneracy and perversion (including homosexuality).

True diversity, inclusion, and tolerance is only possible in the confines of natural marriage, life, and family.

Every effort to pander to this agenda is nothing short of homophobic hypocrisy.

One Massachusetts voter slammed Tom Mountain thus:

Based on your remarks on the radio and elsewhere, you should be the one to resign.

I guess you haven't read the RNC 2016 Platform or even the State GOP platform.

Both support the values Debbie described. I am one of thousands of Massachusetts Republicans whose beliefs follow the RNC Platform, get this, One Hundred Percent!

We expect our leadership to do the same.

You would fit in well with the Democrats and their attempt to make a one-purple-party system in the state.

By the way, what were your comments when the radical homosexual groups sued to shut down Catholic Adoption Services? They were doing a great job of placing children with a mother and a father that they deserve, as is the natural way.

You are the new "homophobe," fear of LGBTQ and caving into their demands.

Here is another letter issued to the failed, flailing Vice Chairman of the MAGOP:

Tom:

You should be ashamed of yourself for attacking MAGOP Chairman Jim Lyons, but more importantly for attacking State Committeewoman Deborah Martell, simply because she called adoption by false aka sodomite couples "disgusting".

Two confused men who abuse their bodies with each other, and who adopt children to normalize their perversion, is disgusting. It's a matter of biological and psychological well-being that adults put the needs of children ahead of themselves. Sasso-Paquette and is homosexual lover are making their need for affirmation more important than the children! EVERYONE should be disgusted.

Children need mothers and fathers, not two moms, not two dads. The growing body of research affirms this necessity. You need to get a copy of MassResistance's book "The Health Hazards of Homosexuality" to better educate yourself on the matter.

And I believe you will have the time to read that book, because ...

You need to resign from the MAGOP State Committee. You have put hollow, selfish political and professional ambitions ahead of the well-being of the state and Massachusetts families as a whole.

If I recall, you are the one who shamed the Trump Administration because you told everyone that you got COVID-19 at a White House event, as if it was their fault! There was no need for that kind of self-promotion. And wasn't it you just a few months ago that was crying for help because Antifa thugs were driving you and down the street where you live? Now you are running around to every newspaper in the state to tell them about how awful the MAGOP is. What kind of loyalty, decency is that?

We all know what this is all about. You are thinking that you are going to get a state job with the Baker Administration by bad-mouthing Chairman Jim Lyons and Deborah Martell. I can tell you that such a move is not going to play out very well -- and you can also forget about becoming the next MAGOP chairman, since no doubt the state committee is going to throw you under the bus, since you went out of your way to throw everyone else under the bus.

Mountain, you have made yourself nothing more than a mole hill. Resign now.

Contact Tom Mountain RIGHT NOW, and tell him to resign!

"Woke" Massachusetts GOP Targets MassResistance Activist for Speaking Truth about LGBT Agenda

The new “woke” GOP: Massachusetts Republican legislators overwhelmingly demand resignation of Orthodox Catholic for expressing traditional belief on homosexuals adopting children.

Also demand resignation of Catholic GOP Party Chairman for not fully agreeing with them!

Part of a vicious, hate-filled attack on a faithful Catholic woman by Republican officials.

The Mass. GOP embraces toxic “cancel culture”.

June 9, 2021
ALT TEXT Campaign ad from homosexual activist Jeffrey Sossa-Paquette. He says he wants to rid "all bigots from the Republican Party ... Now." And the "woke" Mass. GOP officials are falling in line.

In Massachusetts, nearly all the elected Republican state legislators have joined state Party officials and other prominent Republicans in vicious, hate-filled, series of attacks on an Orthodox Catholic member of the GOP State Committee.

At issue is this woman’s disagreement with the LGBT agenda with children. The major holdout is the state Party Chairman, also an Orthodox Catholic – and they are now calling for his resignation for that reason.

ALT TEXT

Here’s what happened

Debbie Martell is one of 80 elected members of the Massachusetts Republican State Committee, which runs the state Party. She is a faithful Catholic and a long-time friend of MassResistance.

Jeffrey Sossa-Paquette is an LGBT activist who has decided to run for Congress as a Republican against incumbent Jim McGovern. Sossa-Paquette claims to be the one behind changing the laws in Massachusetts several years ago to allow same-sex couples to adopt. He is very public about his “husband” and adopted children, and brings his “husband” to political events with him. From the beginning of his Congressional campaign, it seems that his primary objective is to push the LGBT agenda further into the GOP.

ALT TEXT Sossa-Paquette (left) and his "husband" are pushing their agenda in the GOP.

Recently, a group of self-described conservatives in western Massachusetts formed a Political Action Committee (PAC) called the WMA-GOP Patriots. Last month they announced that they were holding a fundraiser on May 22 with Sossa-Paquette as a guest speaker. Debbie Martell is on the PAC’s mailing list.

Debbie responded to some of the people on that list via email: “I heard he was a ‘married’ homosexual man, who adopted children. I was sickened to hear this …” She offered to help find a more suitable speaker for a purported conservative group like theirs.

The attacks on Debbie begin

Someone forwarded Debbie’s email to Sossa-Paquette. He exploded the way the LGBT movement usually does - by sending out angry threats directed at Debbie, going to her and others. Here’s what he said:

I'm putting the BIGOT Debbie Martell on notice I will release a fire storm on any and all bigots within our ranks.  "Debbie" I'm going to make you famous with your own words. You disgust me I promise you this Debbie. The voters will never tolerate Racist Bigots Like you. You picked a fight with the wrong person, this is child's play to me …The illness here is bigotry and hate.

Debbie responded by sending this email to Sossa-Paquette:

Good morning Jeffrey,

I am a Catholic who loves God and His Ten Commandments. I wish the best for every person in the world, including you!  What sickened me was that you adopted children. All children deserve a mom and a dad at that's probably why you had great difficulty adopting them … That's how God designed marriage and the family.

I wish all the best for you!

Sincerely,
Debbie Martell

Paquette responded by sending out an email to a wide audience (including Debbie) saying that he had a public relations team and videographer preparing a professional PR attack campaign against Debbie. He also said that members of the GOP State Committee had set up conference calls to gather political support for his attacks on her.

Then, on May 22, the WMA-GOP Patriots PAC went ahead with their fundraiser, with Sossa-Paquette as a keynote speaker. They even sent out an email blast afterwards thanking him for coming.

A threat from a GOP official. Over Memorial Day weekend, Debbie received a disturbing phone call from Tom Mountain, the Vice-Chairman of the State Republican Committee. Mountain ordered her to resign from the State Committee. He said she has no choice, and she has “lost the good will” of her colleagues. He threatened that very bad things would happen to her if she didn’t, including hostile media coming to her house. Of course, Mountain had no power to order her to do anything. Debbie politely declined.

On June 1, Sossa-Packette began his PR attack campaign. It included a nasty video targeting Debbie for her “bigotry and intolerance.” (In addition, he targeted a few local pro-family groups he thought might support her). He also began raising money from the LGBT movement and leftists across the country, using his attacks on Debbie. Members of the Massachusetts Republican State Committee were helping him get the word out in Massachusetts.

Vicious emails and phone calls

Over the next several days, Debbie received a torrent of incredibly vicious and profane emails and phone calls to her home at all hours of the day. Many of them included threats meant to terrorize her and her family. We have seen many of them. They were so bad that she had to get the local police involved.

Mass. GOP State Committee members pile on

None of the vicious attacks on Debbie seemed to bother the state Republican officials helping orchestrate this. In fact, they seemed to feel she deserved that treatment. And furthermore, she must also be forced from the State Committee for her “abhorrent” beliefs.

During this time, there were emails circulated between members of the State Committee further condemning Debbie. Shawn Dooley, a State Committee member who is also a State Representative, referred to people with Debbie’s Catholic beliefs regarding homosexuals and children as, “a few uneducated, small minded, fools who detract from what our party should be about.” Others were even more rabid. Committee member Janet Leombruno called Debbie’s beliefs “blind ignorant hate.” GOP Committee member Marty Lamb, who purports to be Jewish, compared Debbie to a Nazi!

It was agreed that all “anti-gay” sentiments are “hateful” and must be purged from the Party. Dooley composed a resolution for State Committee Members to sign, which would be presented at their June 9 meeting. According to press reports, over 30 of the 80 members signed it as of last week. How unbelievably shameful! It ends this way:

RESOLVED that bigoted and hateful beliefs are repulsive, evil, and have no fruitful place in the Massachusetts Republican Party, and

RESOLVED that we urge swift condemnation of any member espousing any such hateful ideology, rhetoric, or action and affirmatively state that they shall find no quarter within the Massachusetts Republican Party and shall not be allowed to serve as an elected member of the Republican Party or run for office as the Party’s nominee.

Here we have the “woke” Republican Party!

Party Chairman is attacked for being neutral. But Party Chairman Jim Lyons, a religious Catholic, refused to insist that Debbie resign. So Sossa-Paquette and his State Committee allies expanded their attacks – to also demand that Lyons resign his Chairmanship! This has now become a main theme of their “outrage.” Lyons, like Debbie, has politely held firm.

The Boston media firestorm

Then came the media attacks. Just after the Memorial Day weekend, a firestorm of articles appeared in the local Boston media attacking Debbie and Jim Lyons. This included, not surprisingly, ultra-RINO Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito calling for Debbie’s resignation, with Baker saying that her beliefs are “abhorrent and have no place in public discourse.”

Much of the media strike appeared to be orchestrated by Tom Mountain, who was interviewed in newspapers and TV. He bragged to Channel 10 TV that he was compelled to telephone Debbie and demand she resign because the Chairman didn’t do it:

MassGOP Vice Chair Tom Mountain had this message for Debbie Martell, the Republican state committeewoman who circulated emails saying the choice of gay Republican congressional candidate Jeffrey Sossa-Paquette and his husband to adopt sickened her: "I told her you must resign, it's over, goodbye."

Mountain added, "What she did was wrong. It was immoral. We don't have any room in the party for such things. And I'm not going to put up with it."

Mountain's actions stand in contrast to the MassGOP chairman, Jim Lyons, who Sossa-Paquette said responded to his pleas to stop the committeewoman's emails by saying he did not want get involved.

"Since no message was forthcoming, then the vice chair has to step in and fill the void and, quite frankly, do the right thing," Mountain said.

Mountain was quoted in MSN News stating the reason Debbie must leave:

We don’t want someone who’s antigay on our state committee. She made our party look really bad, and she did a bad thing. That’s the bottom line. The time for apologies has come and gone.

Mountain, like others on the State Committee, dishonestly claim to be conservative when speaking at GOP functions and fundraisers. Unfortunately, many people believe them.

ALT TEXT Tom Mountain (left) brags to a Channel 10 reporter about ordering Debbie to resign from the State Committee.

All the GOP state legislators (except for one) join in the attack

We thought this situation couldn’t get any more odious. We were wrong.

In the Massachusetts State House of Representatives there are 30 Republicans. On June 4, 29 of them signed a bizarre and offensive letter condemning Debbie’s Catholic beliefs and demanding that Lyons resign as Party Chairman if he does not also condemn her. (Only Rep. Marc Lombardo declined to sign it.)

This absurd letter references Abraham Lincoln and the dictum that “all men are created equal.” It talks about “the very fundamental principles of civil liberty” states that “those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, cannot long retain it.” (We’re not sure what all this has to do with sodomy and children, but apparently these State Reps do.)

The letter called Debbie’s Catholic beliefs “inappropriate and disturbing” and said that “we legislators” are not “tolerant of these beliefs and actions.”

It ended by demanding that Lyons condemn her beliefs or resign as Party Chairman. Not surprisingly, the local press enjoyed covering it.

The Massachusetts State Representatives' contact info is HERE.

The Massachusetts GOP State Committee contact info is HERE.

According to press reports, all three Republican members of the State Senate also "condemned Martell’s remarks on Friday and called on party leadership to act."

ALT TEXT Earlier this year Party Chairman Jim Lyons promoted a "free speech" campaign in the State GOP. Obviously, it was rejected by the elected officials!

On Wednesday evening, June 9 (tonight), the State Committee will have its scheduled meeting, covering a number of party issues. It’s likely that Dooley’s distasteful resolution will also be taken up. If so, it will be opposed by many members who are outraged at this reprehensible action. We will let you know what happens.

Final thoughts

The letter that these esteemed elected officials signed conveniently neglected to mention that our Founding Fathers warned us that a republic cannot last without the strength of common Biblical morality. That’s because clearly, none of them believe that.

Debbie Martell is an inspiration to all of us. She has not capitulated to the abominable treatment all these terrible people have heaped on her. Regarding her Catholic faith in this matter, here’s what C.J. Doyle of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts said:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church, authorized by Pope Saint John Paul II, described homosexual acts as "grave depravity." In Catholic tradition, the sin of impurity against nature is the second of the four sins---after the willful murder of the innocent---which "cry to heaven for vengeance.”

Even Pope Francis has denounced homosexual adoption, criticizing it as discrimination against children.

The members of the Neville Chamberlain caucus of the Massachusetts Legislature fail to understand that organized homosexualism is a totalitarian movement which aims to censor, silence, punish, demonize and suppress anyone who opposes it. Sacrificing Deborah Martell will not protect them from its wrath.

They want to shame, stigmatize and exclude from political life and civil society anyone who expresses natural feelings of revulsion at the act of sodomy, and at the idea that those who practice this form of moral turpitude ought to be entrusted with the care of children.

Those elected officials who signed this letter have gained nothing but the contempt of honest men and women. No one will ever trust them again.

We couldn’t have said it better. The Massachusetts Republicans in the Legislature and members of the State Committee are aggressively opposing what’s right and true, and are joining in the torment of an honest, principled woman to do so.

The fact that these people are making laws while calling themselves “conservatives” should anger everyone. They are pathetic sell-outs to the culture of death.

Help MassResistance Commissioner Ron Beaty: Stand Up to LGBT Hate Machine

Hello MassResistance Members and ALL Pro-Family Fighters

Our good friend and pro-family activist Ron Beaty of Barnstable County Massachusetts is under attack by the LGBT Hate Machine for simply tweeting the truth.

He tweeted out:

“Generally speaking, are gay politicians too self-absorbed and self-centered to adequately represent ALL of their constituents in a fair and equitable manner?”

The answer is a resounding YES! Gay politicians are pushing the gay agenda onto us, and it's tyranny wrapped up in a six-colored flag, nothing more.

We need to stand up to this bigotry from the Left!

As expected, the LGBT haters proved Commissioner Beaty's point and went on the attack, demanding his resignation, his head on a platter, his first-born child etc. ...

Thankfully, Commish Beaty is not backing down:

We need to BACK HIM UP.

Please read and share his call to action below. Let's get the word out and make sure that people realize that we are not going to bullied by the Rainbow Nazis in Massachusetts or anywhere else!
If anyone is interested and m/or willing to send a letter to the editor to the Cape Cod Times, it must be 200 words or less, and may be sent two  letters@capecodonline.com and also to Cape Cod Today at: editor@capecodtoday.con

Barnstable County, MA Commissioner Writes:

First I hope this message finds you healthy and well.

Second, as many of you may be aware I have somewhat recently opened up a can of worms and begun a rather controversial public dialogue regarding LGBTQ and/or gay politicians, the special interest groups  that they represent, and their anti-family political agenda.

This all happened simply because I posted the following poll question on Twitter: “Generally speaking, are gay politicians to self-absorbed and self-centered to adequately represent ALL of their constituents in a fair and equitable manner?”

The pushback by the LGBTQ special interest political agenda groups, their far left-wing supporters and politically correct followers has been near overwhelming.

They have called for my resignation as a county commissioner, and vilified me in any and all ways possible.

However, I have done nothing wrong and continue  to refuse to resign my position as Barnstable County Commissioner.

With that said, at this time I would like to respectfully request letters to the editor in support of me and the overall issue of freedom of speech and First Amendment rights, as well as fact-based public discussion about special interest groups, and so-called protected classes of citizens which appeare to have more rights than regular people like us.

If anyone is interested and m/or willing to send a letter to the editor to the Cape Cod Times, it must be 200 words or less, and may be sent twoletters@capecodonline.com and also to Cape Cod Today at: editor@capecodtoday.con

Thank you, and God bless you.

Ron Beaty

ALSO, It's time to go after the so-called "Republican" leadership in Massachusetts, many of whom have called for his resignation. They need to show some spine and support Commissioner Beaty!

Here is the list of state legislators that folks might want to contact to demand bother a retraction and apology for what they did.

Paying tribute to the LGBTQ Political Special Interest Movement, Republican Cape Cod, MA State Legislators arrogantly and unfairly issued a written proclamation demanding County Commissioner Ron Beaty’s resignation:

State Senator Vinny deMaceado
Phone: 617-722-1330

State Rep. Will Crocker
Phone: 617-722-2014

State Rep. Randy Hunt

State Rep. David Vieira
Phone: 617-722-2230

State Rep. Tim Whelan
Phone: 617-722-2488

Also kowtowing to the Gay Political Agenda, the new Chairman of the MA Republican Party, Jim Lyons,  has called for Commissioner Beaty’s resignation as well. He needs to retract that demeaning demand:

MassResistance: Conservative Primary Challenger Scott Lively Upends Massachusetts Governor Primary

In Massachusetts, Pastor Scott Lively is turning the Governor’s race inside out against incumbent RINO Charlie Baker in GOP primary. Election this Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Governor spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to beat Lively – a close election is looming!

Lively HATED by liberal media and GOP establishment

September 2, 2018
ALT TEXTScott Lively (center, in suit) has passionate supporters across the state.
Imagine a state where the Republican Governor is a proud pro-abortion, pro-LGBT hard-left liberal. A pro-family conservative comes out of nowhere to run against him in the primary. He ignites the GOP grassroots, barnstorming the state, and is in striking distance of winning. The incumbent is forced to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising to gain back ground. Welcome to Massachusetts!
The most exciting statewide pro-family political campaign in America is taking place in, of all places, Massachusetts. On Tuesday, Sept. 4, Republican voters who come out to vote that day will decide between Scott Lively, an unapologetic conservative pro-Trump Christian pastor, and incumbent Governor Charlie Baker, probably the most liberal anti-Trump Republican Governor in the country.
Most people concede that Baker is far more popular among Democrats and Independents than the Republican base. But since there are several big primary races among Democrat liberals, it’s likely that only Republicans will vote in the Republican primary, not Independents.

Just how bad is Charlie Baker?

Governor Charlie Baker, who was elected in 2014, has never tried to hide his contempt and disdain for the conservatives who make up the base of the party.
Here are just a few of the things he’s done in that time:
  • He made a campaign video celebrating “gay marriage.”
  • He's filled much of his administration with liberal Democrats.
  • He signed the outrageous transgender “bathroom bill” into law.
  • He raised over a million dollars to unseat conservative members of the GOP State Committee.
  • He supports “abortion rights” 100%.
  • He announced that he would provide funding for Planned Parenthood if they lost federal funding.
  • His state budget included $1.4 billion to fight “climate change.”
  • He has nominated LGBT activists as judges.
  • He refused to vote at all for President in the 2016 election.
  • He refused to meet with Vice President Pence when he came to Massachusetts.
  • He signed a bill to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour – to please liberals.
  • He opposed repealing Obamacare.
  • He opposed President Trump’s ban on immigration from certain dangerous countries.
  • He signed the automatic voter registration bill, a favorite of liberals.
  • He signed a bill allowing the government to confiscate firearms from people who are “considered a danger.”
  • He will be giving the keynote speech at the radical homosexual Log Cabin Republicans’ fundraising dinner in Washington DC this fall.
By many accounts, Charlie Baker is worse than his liberal Democrat predecessor, Deval Patrick. It’s no wonder that the Boston Globe constantly labels Charlie Baker “the most popular governor in America.” (We’d like to see those polls!)

Lively shocked the establishment by getting on the GOP primary ballot!

Scott Lively is a conservative Christian pastor based in Springfield, MA, but with a worldwide following. He ran for Governor in 2014 as an Independent and got about 2% of the vote. But he clearly learned a lot!
His 2018 campaign started off with a bang. On April 30, Lively shocked the GOP establishment by getting 28% of the vote by the delegates at the Republican State Convention in Worcester, despite a well-financed effort by the Baker and the establishment keep him off the ballot entirely. Since then his support has only gone up. Much of that, as with President Trump, is a reaction to massive attacks on him by the liberal media and GOP establishment.
VIDEO: Scott Lively's barnburner speech before Mass. GOP Convention on April 30!

Hysterical hatred by the Boston-area mainstream media

When he ran in 2014 Lively was virtually ignored by all the media. They considered him a “fringe” candidate who was going nowhere.
But liberals despise any real conservative who is becoming potent. This time, the Boston area mainstream media has exhibited an astounding and relentless a “Lively derangement syndrome.” There have been more lurid, hysterical articles and radio/TV reports about Lively than any other candidate in the state, ever. In the Globe he’s called “anti-gay pastor Scott Lively.” If you compare opinions in The Boston Globe(liberals) and The Boston Herald (RINOs) they don’t agree on a lot, but they both hate Scott Lively.
The blatant lies and visible anger are remarkable. From their completely twisted depiction of his book The Pink Swastika (fact: it’s a compendium of research by various mainstream historians) to the lies about his dealings in Uganda (fact: Lively argued AGAINST onerous laws affecting gays), the media fabricates, distorts, and simply makes up their “facts” about Scott Lively. It’s beyond “fake news.” Luckily, conservatives are so used to seeing this done to President Trump that it has little effect.
The only exceptions to the anti-Lively parade are conservative WRKO Boston radio hosts Howie Carr and Jeff Kuhner, and the Boston Broadsidenewspaper, all of whom identify with the grassroots and enthusiastically support Scott Lively over Baker.
ALT TEXTThis is the winning lunatic anti-Lively headline so far. But it’s been a close race! From the Beacon Hill Patch, it quotes extensively from the extremist Southern Poverty Law Center.

Excluded from all help from the GOP

We wish there was more room to describe this. The Massachusetts State Republican Party (which is so corrupt that many people consider it a criminal enterprise) has broken its own written rules to deny Scott Lively the use of any GOP offices, equipment, election materials, or other help – even though he’s a legitimate GOP candidate for office. But the Baker campaign gets full use of it.

EVERY GOP State Legislator has publicly endorsed Charlie Baker

One good thing about this race is that it exposed the phony “pro-family” frauds in the State House. Every Republican state senator and representative has thumbed his nose at the grassroots conservatives and has publicly endorsed pro-abortion, pro-LGBT, anti-2nd Amendment Charlie Baker.
ALT TEXTScreen shot of video being broadcast at the Republican GOP Convention of Jim Lyons (right) asking the delegates to vote for Charlie Baker (left).
A very disappointing example is State Rep. Jim Lyons. Lyons got elected as a “solid” pro-life, pro-family guy. And he’s ridden that wave with conservatives. But this year, he’s campaigned passionately for Baker against Lively. He was even featured in a giant Baker video at the GOP convention. What’s going on? By strange coincidence, Baker did a fundraiser for Lyons just last week at the Lanam Club in Andover. This is what pro-family people are up against from GOP politicians. It fuels the support for Lively even more.

Ignored by the Massachusetts pro-family establishment

This is a problem all over the country. “Mainstream” pro-family groups don’t want to get their hands dirty by openly supporting “embarrassing” hardcore conservative candidates like Scott Lively. So they back away and just ignore it. Take a look at this voter guide for the Sept. 4th election – the Governor race is not included!

Lively barnstorming the state!

Over the summer Scott Lively has been like a machine, barnstorming the state, often speaking at several events a day. He’s in parades, in stores, seemingly everywhere. And his signs are seen a lot in many parts of the state.
ALT TEXTSigns like these are seenacross the state.
ALT TEXT(Handwritten sign at bottom: Vote Sept. 4th!)

Baker spending HUGE to beat Lively in Sept. 4 primary

In 2014 when Charlie Baker was running against Mark Fisher in the primary, Baker hardly spent any money at all. He was virtually invisible, waiting to focus on the general election.
But this time he and his campaign staff are obviously worried. Baker’s flooding the TV airwaves with very expensive commercials, and also mailings, aimed at Republican primary voters. In other words, he’s trying desperately to get his RINO supporters to come to the polls instead of doing something else that day.
ALT TEXTBaker's TV commercials targeting the Sept. 4 primary have been flooding the airwaves.
ALT TEXTAnd also numerous mailings telling Republican voters to "Vote Septembber 4th" for Charlie Baker

You’ve got to love it!

Come on, is this a fun race or what? A horrible RINO incumbent governor running scared because of a no-holds-barred pro-family, pro-Trump conservative – in one of the bluest states in America. You’ve got to love it!
The Boston Broadside, the only Massachusetts newspaper to enthusiastically support Scott Lively (and other conservatives) put out a special issue for this primary. They are distributing 100,000 copies across the state. It is full of great information for real, no-excuses conservatives! In case you didn’t get one, you can download it here. (And check out the ¼ page ad for MassResistance.)

MassGOP Bulletin: Mass-ive Victories Now and To Come in 2018

MassGOP Bulletin

Friends,

The past week has made it clear: Democrats' one-party rule in the Legislature is toxic for Massachusetts, and voters are fed up with it.

Last Monday, embattled Senate President Rosenberg (D) stepped aside after he lost all credibility with the public amid a scandal involving sexual abuse and abuse of power by his husband. Unfortunately for Democrats, Rosenberg's temporary move has done nothing to restore the voters' trust in the Senate's Democrat majority.

News about Democrats' corruption continued on Friday when a top Democrat was arrested and indicted by federal authorities on hundreds of corruption-related charges. According to prosecutors, Sen. Brian Joyce (D) "ran his Senate office as a criminal enterprise." Even more outrageous, Joyce served as Rosenberg's hand-picked chair of a "committee to improve government" as recently as last year.

Fortunately, voters last week got the chance to send a message to Democrats - and they did so loud and clear. Republicans flipped a Democrat-held state senate seat in Worcester County when Dean Tran (R) won a special election last Tuesday. Dean will head to Beacon Hill as our newest GOP senator, and will be a champion for lower taxes and small businesses. Learn more about Dean's inspiring story

With Democrats running amok on Beacon Hill, now is the time to step up and get involved! We can continue the momentum from Senator-elect Tran's victory and see GOP success across the board in 2018 --> Click here to support the MassGOP today!
