Senate Conservatives Fund Reminds Liddle Bob Corker: It's Time to Retire!

The Senate Conservatives Fund already witnesses the epic disaster which can overwhelm a red US Senate race if there are desperate primary fights tying up and wasting Republican monies.

The Democratic challenger for Tennessee's US Senate seat has a relative level of popularity, especially since he was governor nearly 20 years ago, and most people will likely recall basically conservative governing views and decisions.

Marsha Blackburn is the best choice to continue representing Tennessee's interests in the US Senate, ensuring that the Senate governing majority actually acts like one.

Bob Corker is thinking about not retiring?

He should go back to his original plan and go away!

Senate Conservatives Fund

Arthur:

We just received the results from our latest poll of the U.S. Senate race in Tennessee and I wanted you to be the first to know.

As liberal Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) reconsiders his decision to retire, he should proceed with great caution.

According to our survey, likely Republican primary voters want him to retire by an overwhelming margin.
  • Retire - 64%
  • Seek Re-Election - 24%
  • Unsure - 12%
And if Senator Corker were to run against the two Republicans already in the race, he would lose by 23 points to conservative U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) if the election were held today.
  • Marsha Blackburn - 49%
  • Bob Corker - 26%
  • Steven Fincher - 9%
  • Undecided - 17%
Looking at the favorable and unfavorable opinions that Republican primary voters have of Corker and Blackburn it's clear that if Corker runs, it will be at his own peril.

While Corker has a negative net image (-2%), Blackburn has a very positive net image (+43%).

BOB CORKER
  • Very Favorable - 18%
  • Somewhat Favorable - 29%
  • Somewhat Unfavorable - 27%
  • Very Unfavorable - 22%
  • Not Sure / No Opinion - 4%
MARSHA BLACKBURN
  • Very Favorable - 36%
  • Somewhat Favorable - 28%
  • Somewhat Unfavorable - 10%
  • Very Unfavorable - 11%
  • Not Sure / No Opinion - 15%
While many in the swamp are cheering the idea of Senator Corker running again, Republican voters in Tennessee are not.

If he wants to throw his hat back into the ring, that's his prerogative. But we won't back down from supporting Marsha Blackburn.

If you haven't already donated to her campaign, please contribute $25, $50, $100, or more today.

Thank you for being part of our team to build a conservative Senate. We hope this polling data is helpful to you.

Sincerely,

SCF: Tennesse US Senate Race Heats Up

Senate Conservatives Fund
Phil Bredesen (D-TN)
Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)

Arthur:

Former Governor Phil Bredesen (D-TN), the last Democrat to win a statewide election in Tennessee, announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate earlier this week.

Bredesen is the Democrat's top recruit and many observers believe he could win the race. If that happens, the Democrats will gain a seat that could help them retake control of the Senate.

The stakes are very high.

If Bredesen wins this race, he will be a vote and a voice for the reckless spending, bailouts, and debt that are bankrupting our country. He will also prevent President Trump from securing our borders, repealing Obamacare, and draining the swamp!

Please join us in supporting U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn for the U.S. Senate in Tennessee.

If elected to the Senate, Marsha Blackburn will:
  • Continue to fight to repeal Obamacare
  • Fight to protect the unborn
  • Fight to protect our Second Amendment rights
  • Fight to cut wasteful spending
  • Fight to enact significant tax relief
  • Support President Trump’s immigration ban and work with him to build the wall
This race is extremely important for the entire country and I hope you will support this outstanding candidate.

Marsha Blackburn can defeat Phil Bredesen, but she will need financial support from freedom-loving Americans everywhere.

Please donate $25, $50, $100 or any amount up to $5,400 to Marsha Blackburn's U.S. Senate campaign.

SCF will pay all processing costs and transfer 100% of your donation directly to her campaign.

Donating to Marsha Blackburn through SCF is the best way to support her campaign. She saves on fundraising costs and actually gets to spend more of your donation on voter contact AND she will know that conservatives are standing with her in this critical fight.

This is one of the most important Senate races in the country and I hope you will lock arms with the grassroots in Tennessee and help push Marsha Blackburn on to victory.

Thank you for your generous support.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II

SCF Celebrates Departure of Flake and Corker from US Senate

This is really good news.

The Senate Conservatives Fund celebrates the departure of US Senators Bob Corker and Jeff Flake from the US Senate.

But ... they need to recognize that active efforts from conservative media and grassroots activists in their home states helped propel them out of office.

Check out their latest eblast celebrating the further draining of the swamp:

Senate Conservatives Fund

Arthur:

Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) announced yesterday that he will not seek re-election next year. This, combined with the retirement of Senator Bob Corker (R-TN), is good news for the country.

It's not just that Jeff Flake and Bob Corker have been so critical of President Trump; it's that they campaigned as conservatives, but then supported countless liberal policies.

As SCF supporters know, Jeff Flake misled us and misled the voters in Arizona when he said he would never support amnesty for illegal immigrants again. Shortly after he won his Senate race in 2012, he broke that promise and sided with Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and other liberals in pushing amnesty.

Yesterday, Flake unwittingly admitted that he lied to the voters.

"The path that I would have to travel to get the Republican nomination is a path I'm not willing to take, and that I can't in good conscience take," Flake said. "It would require me to believe in positions I don't hold on such issues as trade and immigration and it would require me to condone behavior that I cannot condone."

This is nonsense.

The position of opposing amnesty that he's now unwilling to take is the very position he took back in 2012. The problem here is not that Flake is unwilling to lie about his support for amnesty; it's that nobody will believe him this time.

Senator Bob Corker has been equally disappointing. He helped President Obama pave the way for his Iran nuclear deal and has voted for massive spending, bailouts, and debt.

The establishment says that Flake and Corker are retiring because of President Trump, but the real reason is that they have betrayed the voters and want to avoid embarrassing primary defeats.

These two retirements are an important step forward, but now conservatives need to work together to nominate strong replacements. These races have now been completely jumbled so we will have to see who runs and work with the grassroots to elect the best candidate.

The primary elections in Arizona and Tennessee won't take place until August so there is plenty of time for good candidates to establish themselves with the grassroots and to help fund their campaigns.

Please support our efforts to identify, recruit, and fund strong conservatives by making a contribution to SCF today.

Winning these races won't be easy. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) learned nothing from the rebuke he got in Alabama and will try to recruit other pro-establishment candidates in these races.

We need to be prepared to fight back and elect conservatives who will keep their word and help drain the swamp.

Thank you for doing so much to advance conservative leadership in Washington. We're grateful for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Corker Steps Down -- What About Orrin Hatch?

Roy Moore is going to carry the Alabama Special Election run-off like a boss.

Roll Tide!

The rest of the GOP Establishment, which are resisting the pro-American Trump Agenda are getting the message.

He was an outstanding contender in 2006. He was the only Republican elected to office following a terrible year for Republicans during the six-year itch under President Bush.

Two terms later, and he is part of the problem. As recently as August, Corker claimed that President Trump did not have the stability to be President of the United States. What?! What planet does this guy live in. Oh, that's right--he has become a creature of Washington DC.

This is the last thing that we need in our federal government.

See you later, Corker!

Now, there is another US Senator who should take a hike.

His name is Orrin Hatch. He took the lead to prosecute Bill Clinton in 1998-1999. Those were welcome actions. Yes, I am glad that he prosecuted Clinton the United States Senate.

But what has happened to this guy since then? He claimed to be Tea Party before there was a Tea Party. But now he has signaled his support for Mitt Romney to take his place. Huh? He also opposed President Trump's decision to ban transgendered individuals from serving in the military.

Now he is a co-sponsor of the amnesty SUCCEED Act?!

Sorry, Orrin, but you have to go, too.

More than three-quarters of Utah voters don't want Sen. Orrin Hatch (R) to seek reelection at the end of his term next year, according to a new survey.

A poll by The Salt Lake Tribune and the University of Utah's Hinckley Institute of Politics finds 78 percent of respondents think Hatch should "definitely" or "probably" not run for reelection in 2018.

Another 12 percent think Hatch should "probably" run for reelection, and only 7 percent think he should "definitely" run again.

Voters are divided over whether they approve or disapprove of the job Hatch is doing in Congress.

Run, Orrin, Run! AWAY!
