I am pleased to announce that Governor Jerry Brown, whose official portrait hangs on the wall of the Huntington Park City Hall lobby along side the portrait of our President Donald J. Trump, vetoed SB 174, legislation which would have made your violation of federal law dubiously and temporarily legal.

To wit, SB 174 would have permitted illegal aliens to sit on commissions and governing boards in the state of California, although in effect such legislation at the outset is in absolute conflict with federal law and the United States Constitution .
Governor Brown returned that legislation without his signature but with the following statement:
"This bill would open up all boards and commissions to non-citizens. I believe existing law--which requires citizenship for these forms of public service--is the better path."
This statement does not come from the pen of US SenatorsTed Cruz or Mike Lee, nor the executive order of President Donald J. Trump.
This statement was issued by the liberal Democratic Governor of California, Edmund G. "Jerry" Brown.
There remains neither defense nor safeguard for your lawlessness.
The Huntington Park City Council violated the law by appointing two illegal aliens, Julian Zatarian and Francisco Medina, to two city commissions.
State Senator Ricardo Lara submitted his legislation in a vain attempt to cover for your lawlessness. That attempt has justly failed.
At the same time, President Trump has pursued and expanded his rigorous enforcement against foreign nationals unlawfully residing in the United States.
Those two illegal aliens must resign those postitions (they never belonged to them, essentially) and flee the country. All decisions and actions executed by those commissions during their unfounded tenure are now null and void.
If the city refuses to abide by federal, state and local law, then I will pursue every legal means necessary to have not only those two illegal aliens incarcerated and deported, but I will ensure prosecution and civil liability to the fullest extent of the law against you the elected officials of the Huntington Park City Council, along with executive members such as Chief of Police Cosme Lozano.
Today, I utter this stern warning with the support of even your most fervent (yet ultimately moot) supporter, Governor Jerry Brown.
For two and a half years, members of We the People Rising battered the Huntington Park City Council for their appointment of two illegal aliens to city commissions.
This is perverse, unconstitutional, and just plain unheard of.
Yes, and their names are Francisco Medina and Julian Zatarain (left and right):
The city council has not removed these illegal aliens from the commissions yet, even though ICE has been working around the clock rounding up illegal alien criminals.
But the two arrogant illegals above need to be deported, too, since they are an affront to the rule of law and our nation's sovereignty.

My name is Arthur Schaper, a long-time resident of Torrance, CA, and a life-long citizen of the great United States of America.
For the past two years, starting in August, 2015, I have been protesting and reporting on the ongoing acts of illegal immigration and corruption in the city of Huntington Park, CA. In brazen defiance of our nation’s federal immigration laws, the Huntington Park City Council appointed two illegal aliens to city commissions. This very act defines Huntington Park as a de facto sanctuary city. The two illegal aliens are named Julian Zatarain and Francisco Medina. Neither of them qualified for DACA or DAPA (which are both unconstitutional programs in the first place).
We have filed numerous reports with local and state officials, and we have even met with federal agents at the Los Angeles office of the Federal Bureau of Investigations. I have also contacted federal officials who represent me (Congressman Ted Lieu, 33rd Congressional District) as well as Lucille Roybal-Allard (40th Congressional District), who represents Huntington Park. My primary concern is that the city officials, elected, appointed, and hired—are dedicated to furthering their own interests while undermining the basic civil rights of other citizens, which has included pandering to illegal aliens throughout the city of Huntington Park.

At this time, I am urging the United States Department of Justice to mandate that the Huntington Park City Council remove the two illegal aliens from the two Huntington Park City Commissions:
1. Julian Zatarian—Parks and Recreation Commission

Please further instruct the city of Huntington Park to comply with all immigration laws as recorded in the United States Code and cooperate fully with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. Please attend to this matter at your earliest convenience. The city council’s brazen lawlessness is slowly eroding the rights, benefits, and privileges of American citizens as well as the sovereignty of these Great United States.

The Huntington Park City Council is losing control of their own meetings.
First, they call people out of order for no reason. Dr. Robert Newman was kicked out for no reason.
They have thrown out law-abiding citizens in the past for doing ... nothing.
When we served Karina La Korrupta and the rest of his corrupt council colleagues with recall papers, she repeatedly interrupted me:

They call snap special meetings at the last minute, like what happened
They had me arrested when I had done nothing wrong, and there was no evidence of my disrupting the meeting in any way.
Then during the July 5th, 2017 Huntington Park meeting, they were willy-nilly calling people out of order.
And we called them out on it!
Now their own police force is harassing innocent civilians, and the city council pushes everyone out of the meeting.

Nothing happened that would justify them pushing everyone away.
tWe are seeing the disintegration of law and order within Huntington Park, the same city which defied federal law appointing two illegal aliens.
They can't hold it together anymore.
How much longer will this lawlessness last? Even the corrupted Sergeant-at-Arms Joseph Settles will not govern the meeting anymore.
At the last meeting, they stationed seven police officers! SEVEN!
And they still cannot maintain law and order.
Residents in the city have shared with me their deep fears and concerns.
They have lost hope. They want to see real change, but the people who have all the money have all the power, and they are using everything to enrich themselves at the expense of the poor, hard-working residents.
It's disastrous, but their time is coming. They are losing money from the federal government. The city's immense liability has gotten worse, and it looks for all intents and purposes that the city will go bankrupt.

At the 7/5/17 city council meeting, Arthur Schaper was the final public speaker. After he finished speaking, open border opposition members began to heckle him. The mayor called Arthur and another man out of order and then the audience reacted. The city council called for a recess as officers were alerted and a hectic scene unfolded.

It's real and it's happening
We need Jeff Sessions to get down here to Southern California and enforce all of our nation's federal immigration laws.
For the past year and half, We the People Rising have protested in Huntington Park, California.
We have demanded respect as well as local enforcement of our immigration laws.
Now that Donald Trump is President of the United States, and now that Senator Jeff Sessions has become Attorney General Jeff Sessions, there is no longer any room or opportunity for lawless municipalities like Huntington Park.
February 7, 2017 was a memorable night for We the People Rising and Trump supporters all over Los Angeles County. With less than two days notice, Trump supporters and pro-immigration enforcement activists showed up with us to Huntington Park.

The city council was so alarmed about this, that just before public comment, Mayor Graciela Ortiz had to correct the record and inform the public that none of the members of the city council were illegal.
It's all about the two illegal aliens on the city commissions, but the point still comes across: the corrupt city council approved the appointment of two illegal aliens to the city commissions--and removed at least twenty people who are lawful, law-abiding residents. How awful does it get!

We had citizens from West Hollywood, Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, East LA, West Hollywood, and even Fullerton show up to stand up for our country, the rule of law, and Donald Trump!

Right away, we noticed at least 8 police officers--EIGHT!--in the chambers that evening.
What were all those police officers watching for?
What was the criminal city council afraid of?
They were afraid of God-fearing, law-abiding Americans, even though the city is overrun with corrupt and illegal aliens taking advantage of lack enforcement in our country ... up to now.

They had been protesting and putting pressure on the Riverside City Council to prevent them from becoming a sanctuary city.
Members of the team were worried that they would not be able to drive over to Huntington Park in time.
But they made it before public comment began!
At one point, the city clerk discussed the the upcoming elections in Huntington Park:
Janet West debunked some of the comments mentioned by the city clerk.
The truth is that the Democrats in Sacramento have created more laws which make it easier for illegals to vote and ramp up voter fraud without any follow-up to ensure that no one can stuff the ballot boxes.
Then came public comment.
As expected, the mayor sorted out the cards and made us wait, even though I was the first person to put cards in!
What a crock!
Members of the city spoke out about the public facilities and their need for better upkeep. George Franco mocked the city council and the public employees for non-enforcement of city codes.

Then it was OUR Turn to speak!
It was like old times! The new members of our crew were not afraid to hold the corrupt city council accountable for their wicked lawlessness.
They were visibly uncomfortable. They realized that they were not in charge anymore. The election of Donald Trump sealed the deal for us, and now there's real behind power behind our words to speak out against the corruption, the lawlessness, the pandering and promotion of illegal immigration.

The mayor and two of the police officers tried to force Janet and Robin to take down the Trump banner.
I refused. I demanded that they stop my time to resolve the matter--a problem which they had created.
Janet West showed some real spunk and stood up to the police officer.
We won that fight, calling out the discrimination of the city council. Let's face the facts: they simply did not want to see Donald Trump's name paraded in the city council chambers.

I also exposed to the audience--including our new friends--that Sergio Infanzon, who was seated in the front row--had once told a black woman to "Go back to Africa." .He gets a six-figure salary, too, and at taxpayers' expense

Other people in the audience made the case loud and clear:
Donald Trump is President - and we repeatedly hammered the Huntington Park City Council that Jeff Sessions would be confirmed as the next Attorney General.
Now it's a done deal!
He's coming to enforce the law!
The city council tried to pass off everything as though nothing had happened:
But the know full well that their time is coming to an end.
Play time is over, and this lawlessness will cease.
And the two illegal aliens Julian Zatarian and Francisco Medina will flee or get deported!
We the People Rising joined forces with more Los Angeles County Trump supporters to hammer the Huntington Park City Council for their rogue decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions!
