LA Times Reporter Lies About Me, Doesn't Like Getting Trolled in Turn?

Los Angeles Times "reporter" Hailey Branson seems to have disappeared.

Not sure what to make of it. Perhaps being called out for her apprenticeship under rabid anti-Semite Helen Thomas turned her off to writing more stories about me or other Trump supporters.

At any rate, I guess she claimed "bullying" when I urged other people on Twitter to contact her and demand answers about her dubious, if not disturbing, relationship with Helen Thomas:

She has no problem smearing Trump supporters with lies ... but she doesn't like being exposed or held accountable for it?

That's strange. 

Shame on the corrupt corporate media. They like shaming conservatives, patriots, and pro-American activists.

But they can't handle it when they get exposed in turn!

The End is Near: LA Times Newsroom Moves to Unionize

Now I know that the end is near for the Los Angeles Times and the Tribune parent company as a whole. The moment that reporters demand to unionize, they are cutting off their noses to spite their face.

Another network of reporters along the East Coast did the same thing, and the owner of the parent company simply shut down the print business. A business owner has to reap a profit margin to justify the business. Unions seem to think that they can organize and agitate to get more money and benefits. The laws of supply and demand do not permit

  

Los Angeles Times journalists take step to unionize newsroom

A committee representing newsroom employees of the Los Angeles Times took an initial step Monday to form a union by asking the National Labor Relations Board to hold an election.

Wow. This is progressive leftist ideology taken to its self-immolating extreme. What are they thinking? Do they really believe that unionization will stop the steady declining of the dishonest, decrepit mainstream media?

I don't think so!

Earlier this year, a group of more than 40 Times journalists launched efforts to have the NewsGuild-Communications Workers of America represent the newsroom in collective bargaining. The election filing, made by the guild on behalf of the Times employees, comes after years of steep declines in print advertising, staff cutbacks and management turnover.

The committee said it expects the election, which would be overseen by the NLRB, to be conducted next month.

"Years of steep declines" is music to my ears, and to the hearts of conservatives and freedom-loving patriots all over the country.

Why have their been years of decline for the newspaper industry in general, and for the Los Angeles Times in particular?

1. Declines in print advertising. There is too much easy advertising opportunity online and through mobile apps. The print costs are too great, and print media is too slow and expensive.

2. Staff cutbacks. Why? No money, no revenue.

3. Management turnover--see above.

I would further add that competing news sources which actually report the truth are eating into the establishment media dominance and their chase for the consumers' dollars.

No longer will average readers and consumers put with the lies, distortions, and outright cheating of the liberal mainstream media. Their anti-capitalist, anti-liberty, anti-national bias has been fully exposed, and none of the readership across the country will settle for it any longer.

Forming a union is not going to help the declining readership and revenue

"The Los Angeles Times is a great paper, and it will only be better with a democratic newsroom," said Bernie Lunzer, president of the NewsGuild-CWA in Washington, D.C. "This is a chance to have a seat at the table."

It's not a great newspaper, and it already has been a democratic newsroom, or more accurately a Democratic, as in Democratic Party, newsroom. There is nothing more to see here, folks. The left-wing press propaganda is going down in flames, and they can't stop the hurting.

What should anyone of us think when one of their reporters, Hailey Branson, looks up to anti-Semites who declared that "The Jews should get the hell out of Palestine."

Ross Levinsohn, the publisher of The Times, declined to comment.

He was probably cleaning out his office, since he's going to be out of job soon, too.

The NewsGuild, formed in 1933, represents 25,000 journalists, including reporters, columnists, copy editors, graphic designers, photojournalists and others. The Times is one of the few major U.S. newspapers whose journalists are not part of a union.

Now that they are joining, they will soon be joining the ranks of the unemployed.

I say good. They have engaged in too many lies, distortions, and outright unsound hatred of President Trump, conservatives, and the whole country.

According to the NLRB website, L.A. Times press operators held a separate union organization election last week to decertify their union. Preliminary results showed that 85 of the newspaper’s 90 press operators voted in an election that ended Nov. 30. Of those, 50 workers voted to join the Graphic Communications Conference/International Brotherhood of Teamsters union and 35 voted against.

They are running to any other union which they think has more clout and can fight harder.

Not working. Bigger unions are not making America Work Again. Unions have fallen into the corrupt habit of representing themselves and not the workers whom they claim to support. Unions are hurting working people, and the press has been complicit in the harm to working Americans.

The liberal medial, including the Los Angeles Times, has attacked Trump supporters of all ages and backgrounds. They promote the fears and concerns of illegal aliens, while ignoring the devastating impact of illegal immigration on Americans of all backgrounds.

They have played the race card repeatedly against conservatives and Republicans in general, even though racism, sexism, and other forms of invidious bigotry have overwhelmed the Democratic Party's ranks and progressives in general for decades. The media double-standard has been one of the most damaging to this country.

But at least the corrupt, liberal press is going down, along with Hollywood and Academia, major institutions dedicated to pushing a wicked cultural Marxist narrative. So glad to see the press going down like this. They deserve to go up in flames.

Hailey Branson-Potts is not a real journalist; she works for the fake news site known as the Los Angeles Times. That’s why she doesn’t tell you that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) A California chapter distributed a poster telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI, and a Florida chapter distributed pamphlets with the same message. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates.

Branson-Potts doesn’t think it fit to print that the Hamas-linked CAIR operative she relies on in this story, Hussam Ayloush, recently called for the overthrow of the U.S. government.

Nor does fake journalist Hailey Branson-Potts tell you that CAIR and other Muslims have on manyoccasions not hesitated to stoop even to fabricating “hate crimes,” including attacks on mosques. She doesn’t explore the possibility that this letter is more faked hate fabricated by Muslims to tar Trump, even though there are precedents. This letter simply doesn’t ring true for a variety of reasons: one is that the claim that Muslims are the new Jews, targeted by the same irrational hatred that led to the Nazi genocide of the Jews, is a talking point of Leftist pundits — the sort of thing that would be in the mind of a Leftist or Islamic supremacist hoaxer when reaching for some way to smear Trump and portray Muslims as victims. Also, calling Muslim men “dogs” is suspicious: to call someone a dog is a grave insult in Islamic culture, but not so common among non-Muslim Americans: a loutish American man might call a woman he finds unattractive a “dog,” although even that is passé now; but a non-Muslim genocidal yahoo calling Muslim men “dogs”? It doesn’t ring true. But Branson-Potts (and, in her defense, every other establishment propaganda media journalist) doesn’t even explore the possibility that the letter is a hoax.

Fake journalist Branson-Potts likewise omits the fact that the SPLC tars any group that dissents from its extreme political agenda as a “hate group.” Significantly, although it lists hundreds of groups as “hate groups,” it includes not a single  Islamic jihad group on this list. And its “hate group” designation against the Family Research Council led one of its followers to storm the FRC offices with a gun, determined to murder the chief of the FRC. This shows that these kinds of charges shouldn’t be thrown around frivolously, as tools to demonize and marginalize those whose politics the SPLC dislikes. But that is exactly what they do. Its hard-Left leanings are well known and well documented. This Weekly Standard article sums up much of what is wrong with the SPLC.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations has called for increased police protection of local mosques after letters that threatened the genocide of Muslims and praised President-elect Donald Trump were sent to multiple California mosques this week.

The letters were sent to the Islamic Center of Long Beach and the Islamic Center of Claremont, CAIR’s greater Los Angeles chapter said in a statement. The same letter also was sent to the Evergreen Islamic Center in San Jose, according to CAIR’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter.

The handwritten letter, which was photocopied, was addressed to “the children of Satan” and called Muslims a “vile and filthy people.”

“Your day of reckoning has arrived,” the letter states, according to CAIR-LA. “There’s a new sheriff in town — President Donald Trump. He’s going to cleanse America and make it shine again. And, he’s going to start with you Muslims.”

Both the Los Angeles and Bay Area chapters of CAIR have called for increased cooperation with law enforcement agencies to protect mosques.

Hussam Ayloush, executive director of CAIR-LA, said in an interview that the Claremont and Long Beach Islamic centers received the letters Wednesday. The groups were debating whether to go public with the letters, he said, because they did not want to encourage copycats or create panic. But once they learned of the letter sent in Northern California, they wanted to inform the public and encourage police to look into the matter, Ayloush said.

Ayloush said people at the L.A. County mosques were “disheartened that anyone would address fellow Americans, fellow human beings, in such a hateful, dehumanizing way.”

“You always want to trust that most people are good, that your neighbors have been good, and that has been our experience,” he said. Still, he said, the letters and the tone of the campaign season has left local Muslims concerned for their safety.

Ayloush said the “irresponsible, hateful rhetoric” of the Trump campaign has fueled “a level of vulgarity, vile hatred and anger among many self-proclaimed Trump supporters.”

“I’m not saying [Trump] created racist people,” he said. “He normalized it. While he might say he’s not responsible, and I respect that, I remind President-elect Trump that he has a responsibility to act as a president for all Americans.”…

Anti-Muslim incidents jumped 67% in 2015, according to newly released FBI hate crime statistics. There were 257 reported bias crimes against Muslims last year, compared with 154 in 2014.

A spate of bias incidents that followed Trump’s presidential election victory has drawn serious concerns from police and human rights activists.

The Southern Poverty Law Center last week reported 701 incidents of harassment since Trump’s win, with most occurring in the first three days following the election. Of those, 206 incidents were anti-immigrant and 51 were anti-Muslim….

LA Times Reporter Hailey Branson Rails Against "Rope-Tree" T-Shirt, Says Nothing About Antifa Sweaters

Hailey Branson has connections to a well-known anti-Semite.

She has routinely lied about Trump supporters, claiming that they are "racist", when their teams have demonstrated considerable diversity--especially compared to the hordes of pro-illegal alien activists and in the many communities pushing a rampant disregard for our nation's immigration laws.

Also, she smeared MassResistance as a hate group based on the hate group Southern Poverty Law Center's false labels targeting conservatives, Republicans, Christians, and pro-family movements.

But Antifa, the same domestic terrorist group which battered fellow Trump supporters like me and others--is NOT listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Why would the Los Angeles Times continue to rely on the SPLC for anything?

Why does Branson worry about one type of clothing, but ignore another?

Media Fail Continues: Hailey Branson Calls Steinle's Illegal Alien Murderer "Immigrant"

Would someone please explain to me why the media go to great lengths to cover for and make nice with illegal aliens, even when they kill American citizens on our own soil?

Hailey Branson has already exposed herself as a friend of anti-Semitic journalist Helen Thomas.

Now she wants to diminish the term "immigrant" to include those who have broken into the United States and killed an American citizen in a sanctuary city:

Media Fail: LA Times Report Branson Dishonest About Huntington Park Lawsuit

The Los Angeles Times has printed the article about my arrest--and now my lawsuit--against the city of Huntington Park for false arrest and violation of my civil rights.

I had contacted Hailey Branson to report on this, but then I realized "Should I give her a second chance when she tried to smear me the last time."

Here's the report, and he are the facts:

Conservative activist arrested at City Council meeting sues Huntington Park, accusing city of trolling him

Arthur Christopher Schaper sat in the back of the Huntington Park City Council chambers, wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap and a Donald Trump flag around his shoulders like a cape.

The council warned him he was disrupting the June meeting. Police officers asked him to leave. He refused, likening himself to Rosa Parks.

No they didn't. It was Cosme Lozano who had suggested that I be ruled out of order following Joseph Settles' statement to me not to disrupt the meeting.

But I was not disrupting the meeting at all. What's going on here? Why didn't the Los Angeles Times include the videos I had uploaded? Strange.

Schaper was arrested on suspicion of two misdemeanor counts of disturbing a public meeting and disobeying a police officer, according to the Huntington Park Police Department.

Further down in the article, you will find that one of the Lieutenants refuses to release the information to the reporter. Another lieutenant ended up releasing this information.

Now, more than five months later, Schaper has sued the city of Huntington Park, claiming he was wrongfully arrested and that the city trolled him with "false notices" to appear in court when the case had not yet been presented by police to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office.

"Troll"? I didn't use that word. What is she talking about?

Here's an urban dictionary definition:

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting quarrels or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community 

The Police Department is not trolling me, since their decision not to file a case with the district attorney's office is not a mater of exchange on the Internet.

Schaper, who was profiled by The Times three days before his arrest, is a familiar, confrontational — and, some say, racist — presence at Huntington Park council meetings, where he rails against "illegal aliens," and heckles for his Facebook Live audience. Police officers who attend the meetings are so familiar with him that they call him by his first name.

"Racist". Who are the people who say this? Did the LA Times even bother to follow up on these remarks? She had profiled me in May, and she noticed that with one of the groups I interact with, there are men and women of different ethnic backgrounds. I still don't understand why she can print something like that without any proof of it. 

"Illegal aliens" are indeed sitting on two city commissions. They are in the country illegally, and they have no legal right to reside in the country. They are aliens, as that term is appropriate.

On June 6, Schaper and a cadre of anti-illegal immigration activists loudly laughed through the public comments of a man who told the council that Schaper was a white supremacist.

Huh?

Members of the City Council warned Schaper twice that he was disrupting the meeting before asking police to escort him out.

No they didn't. That is a total lie. The videos I have submitted and uploaded all detail this information.

"You have to leave or we're going to take you to jail," a Huntington Park police officer told him. "I don't want to do that if we don't have to. This isn't worth going to jail for."

"They said the same thing to Rosa Parks," Schaper said, just before he was arrested.

He or she was arrested? I am confused.

I don't see why there is a problem here, mentioning a civil rights activist who refused to give up her seat on a bus. I refused to leave the city council chambers because they had no right to arrest me. I was not disrupting the meeting.

Schaper, the president of the Beach Cities Republicans club, wrote on his blog that he sat in jail for two hours and was released with a citation and notice to appear at a Downey courthouse three months later.

I am no longer the President of the Beach Cities Republicans. How could she not get that right?

On Sept. 6, he wrote, he showed up, but his name was not listed on a court calendar. A proof of appearance document from the court, which he posted, said no case had yet been filed.

"I was astounded that the Huntington Park police department couldn't bother to file anything with the District Attorney's office in the last three months. Would it really have taken them that long?" he wrote.

He was rescheduled to appear Oct. 23. The same thing happened. His court date has since been rescheduled two more times.

Misdemeanor charges must be filed within one year of an arrest, said Ricardo Santiago, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. As of Thursday, no charges had been filed.

Santiago said police presented a case to the district attorney's office, which will decide whether to pursue charges, on Nov. 22.

Really?! That's news to me!

That was the same day Schaper sued the city for $10,000 in small claims court, records show. He claimed a "gross violation of civil rights" and said "city police harass plaintiff with false notices to appear in court."

Schaper reached out separately to two Times reporters about the case this week. Before a reporter could discuss it with him, he declined further comment, citing his displeasure with The Times' profile of him.

I declined further comment to Hailey, since she had tried to do a smear piece against me in the June article. I see no reason to give bad reporters a second chance. It just rewards bad behavior.

I have further reason not to communicate with her, since she thinks of the deceased reporter Helen Thomas as a mentor, when she was a rabid anti-Semite who thinks that the Jews "should get the hell out of Palestine" and called the state of Israel an "occupation".

Huntington Park Police Lt. Patrick Kraut, who is handling the case, refused to discuss the arrest or name the suspected charges on which Schaper was arrested. Local law enforcement agencies are required by the California Public Records Act to provide the charges on which a person is held and factual circumstances surrounding an arrest.

Kraut told a Times reporter that Schaper "has a copy of the citation" and that she should get it from him.

At this point, if this record is true, I have a lot of respect for Kraut. He is handling the case, is he not? Of course he is not allowed to discuss the case! I even saw him at the Huntington Park police department three days ago when I provided evidence in a case against John Turano, aka Gay Cuck Spartan, who had hit me on the hand and has twice threatened me with violence.

Lt. Al Martinez, a spokesman for the department, later provided the two misdemeanor charges on which Schaper was held.

"Full capacity" Alfred Martinez told Hailey whats going on, the same Lieutenant who lied to an entire group of people about

Laurie Levenson, a former federal prosecutor who now is a professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, said it's hard to say if the police would keep refusing to present a case out of spite or if the "inefficiency" of an overburdened court system was to blame.

How could she not know? I mean, the "evidence" was already presented within two hours. I have a clear record of 

"If there's bad blood between them, you would hope [police] would pay attention so they don't make mistakes," she said. "If they are just hassling him, that would be totally inappropriate."

They are hassling me, and it is inappropriate.

Still, with the "enormous volume of misdemeanor and infraction cases" that regularly cause delays in local courts, Schaper's alleged crime, Levenson said, "is not one that would be the highest priority, even though you think he's constantly on their minds."

This is a nonsense argument. It does not take long for a police officer to submit a criminal package to the DA's office.

Reflection

I would like to know why the Los Angeles Times refused to include the videos I had taken for the Huntington Park Chief of Police refusing to answer my questions about not filing the paperwork with the DA's office.

I would also like to know why the LA Times reporter Hailey Branson looks up to an anti-Semite like Helen Thomas--who is now deceased--as a welcome figure of support and comfort.

The race card has become so overplayed, and yet who are the racists by and large? We find so much of it on the Left.

Now this is really strange.

I not only found Hailey Branson's picture with anti-Semite Helen Thomas, but she even spoke at her memorial service.

This is really disturbing to me, and further reveals the deep bias in our media.

They stood around and celebrated this lady, the same lady who had shouted "The Jews should get the hell out of Palestine."

Those remarks were enough to force her into retirement.

Branson remarks in her speech: "She was everything I wanted to be."

Does that include hatred of Israel? A belief that Jewish people should not live in their homeland in the Middle East?

A reporter is supposed to detail the facts, but I have found that she attacks me and smears me in parts while writing the truth of the accounts in other reports. This hit-and-miss journalism is bad enough.

But she looked up to Helen Thomas as a hero?

This is really unfortunate.

I wrote her twice for a response on this, but she has not gotten back to me.

I called her directly, and she declared "I am not going to comment on this."

She doesn't like being under scrutiny herself?

This is pretty serious. I am a vocal supporter of the state of Israel, and it was a good day when Anti-Semite Helen Thomas was forced to step down following her hateful remarks. I also learned that she received an award from the Palestinian Liberation Organization for journalism.

WHAT?!

This is untenable, and simply cannot be supported.

I am urging everyone to contact the Los Angeles Times and demand answers. Why have they hired a reporter who allies herself with a rabid anti-Semite like Helen Thomas? Does the newspaper as a whole share similar views about Israel and Jews?
