LA Times' New Owner Pledges to Fight "Fake News" ... Really

Patrick Soon-Shiong, biotech billionaire born in South Africa, now living in the United States, has completed his acquisition of the failing, flailing Los Angeles Times.

The new headquarters will be located along Imperial Highway in El Segundo, CA, which guarantees nothing but a terrible commute for the vast majority of reporters and staff which still remain with the newspaper.

The liberal chattering classes are celebrating this move because it means "local control" has returned to this newspaper. Lying is still lying, however, and liberal bias remains liberal bias, whether the owner of a media company is located right next door to the employees or is situated one thousand miles way.

Soon-Shiong also pledged not only to compete with the New York Times, but to fight as hard as possible against Fake News.

Today marks a new era for the Los Angeles Times, The San Diego Union-Tribune and publications across the California News Group. My family and I are truly honored and privileged to assume the mantle of these storied institutions of democracy. To me, this is the culmination of an immigrant’s American Dream.

From today, our important work protecting and building on a rich history of independent journalism begins — with a sense of urgency and purpose.

I believe that fake news is the cancer of our times and social media the vehicles for metastasis. Institutions like The Times and the Union-Tribune are more vital than ever. They must be bastions of editorial integrity and independence if they are to protect our democracy and provide an antidote to disinformation. We will continue our papers’ dedication to truth, integrity, journalistic independence, and storytelling that engages, informs, educates and inspires with care and compassion.

Editorial integrity and independence have fallen into increasingly short supply in the United States. The media has become so obsessed with Donald Trump, looking for every perverse opportunity to see him fail rather than simply reporting what he is doing and what other newsworthy events are taking place in Los Angeles and around the country.

Notice also that Soon-Shiong refuses to define "Fake News". What is he talking about? Does he have any intention of writing the truth about individuals? Let's hope that he expects his writers, reporters, and staffers to get the whole story

In an era of digitally enabled disruptions which pose an existential threat to the traditional newspaper industry, the California News Group must be run as a business in order to grow and thrive, never losing sight of the needs and interests of our readers. 

To run successfully as a business, however, the Times must provide a service which people want.

Most people don't want the left-wing propaganda pablum which passes for news in the LA market. Can Soon-Shiong takes necessary steps to get rid of the wannabe social just warrior reporters at the Times?

As a private, locally owned enterprise, we will invest in the group’s future. While ad-supported print publications will continue to feel the pressures occasioned by the digital era, we are confident that our print products will remain viable and vital. This is especially true for those readers who, like myself, still enjoy the tactile and leisurely experience of a physical newspaper. Yet we are impatient and ambitious when it comes to introducing new products that will inform and delight local and global audiences.

I predict that the paper will fold within one year. The print market is falling on harder times. It's just so much easier to look up articles on-line. It's also become easier to see through the corrupt bias of the mainstream media.

Many of you may wonder why we bought these publications. The decision is deeply personal. America and, more particularly, Southern California, have given me unimaginable opportunities. Here is where I deepened my education, built a family, found ways to contribute to advances in medicine and science, and took inspiration from sports, entertainment and the arts. I grew up in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, the son of a working-class shopkeeper.

Working-class and now upper-class. Will he remain committed to doing what is best for working and middle-class Americans? For Californians?

My parents had fled southern China during World War II after the Japanese occupied their ancestral homes. When I was 14 years old, I began earning money to fund my college education by distributing copies of the Evening Post newspaper.

Oh, that's how personal his connection to print media has become. Interesting.

I still recall the sounds and smells of the printing presses as the first papers rolled off the conveyor belt. I would grab as many as 800 copies from an ink-stained pressman, handing them off to my cadre of “runners” who would then deliver them to local businesses and residences.

This is a nostalgia move. I doubt that it's going to generate any long-term victories, however. Just because someone has a strong sentiment about the newspaper industry does not mean that consumers will warm up to the brand.

Newspapers were not only in my blood, they also engaged my mind. Reading the Post’s headlines and stories, I learned what it meant to grow up “non-white” under apartheid. I came to understand the evil consequences of racism and discrimination. I began to appreciate the essential role journalism plays in fostering and sustaining democracy and free societies.

Really? We have another social justice warrior at the top of the newspaper food chain again, it seems. We need newspapers to report the news, not push an agenda. Or if they are going to push an agenda, it should push principles and values in line with the truth.

We purchased the California News Group because we want to preserve the integrity, honesty and fairness we’ve observed in our decades as avid readers of the Los Angeles Times. My family and I fervently believe that The Times, the Union-Tribune and our other titles must continue to serve as beacons of truth, hope and inspiration binding our communities.

"Integrity, honesty, fairness" - I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Dr. Soon-Shiong still does not explain how his prior experience with selling newspapers makes him qualified to ensure quality reporting. 

We view the publications we acquired as a quasi-public trust. We understand they will be the voice and inspiration for our cities, our state, the nation and the world.

We also understand the importance of editorial integrity and independence. We share our commitment to both with the talented journalists at our publications. They are our lifeblood.

I grew up believing the best newspapers are the voice of the people. None of my personal success has changed that belief.

The press has become the voice of the corporate interests and the political class, which is more invested in telling people what they should be believe and what to think. They have pushed an interest for open borders, cheap labor, the destruction of natural marriage and spiritual values. The smug elitism of the printing-press class is particularly damnable.

Will Soon-Shiong ensure that discrimination against all Americans, all Californians receives due exposure, including hatred of citizens of European and Asian descent?

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. The California News Group will continue to play its pivotal role in our communities, from Los Angeles to San Diego, projecting out to the world. This region is an incubator for change, innovation and discovery, and we are deeply committed to telling its stories.

Final Reflection

I have a strong sense that this venture is going to collapse right before the good doctor's eyes. His discussion about the "cancer" of Fake News is well-played, considering that he is a researcher and scientist working to eradicate that terrible physical scourge.

But the true cancer of Fake News has been the liberal, anti-American bias of the local and national press. Will Dr. Soon save the LA Times?

By the time President Trump’s presidency is over, one of the biggest pieces of fake news we will look back on is when we were told by the media that Trump was good for the media business. According to what is happening in a place called the real world, the truth is that business for the media is horrible.

This is really something. CNN had followed the corrupt anti-Trump model for clickbait and ongoing visits and video views. Now the general public is bored with the excessive interest in President Trump's prior private life. People are tuning out and turning to other news sources.

We will start with the Denver Post, which announced Thursday that, between April 9 and July 1, 30 jobs will be cut from its newsroom. That is a massive 30 percent cut of its current staff of 100 journalists.  Just 10 years ago according to the far-left Washington Post, the Denver Post employed 600 journalists. That is close to a 90 percent reduction in only a decade.

Just a few hours later we learned that another wave of surprise layoffs hit the Chicago Tribune. Fourteen newsroom staffers were let go in that publication’s second round of layoffs in less than six months. Back in October more than a dozen were let go. Roger Federer reports that “Further cuts are expected as the newspaper prepares to leave Tribune Tower for smaller space at Prudential Plaza.”

Ha Ha! A similar move to smaller headquarters has taken place in my home city of Torrance, CA, as the original Daily Breeze headquarters had to sell their iconic blue building along Torrance and Palos Verdes Drive and move into some available office space off of Torrance and Hawthorne Blvd.

Last month, the San Jose Mercury News was hit with another round of terminations, as many as 27 staffers were either laid off or bought out.

Ouch! Notice how the liberal press is getting pressed the most in uber-liberal California. They deserve it for all the years of covering for an enabling liberal, progressive, and outright left-wing politicians pushing their self-enriching agenda at the expense of everyone else. They wanted to push a progressive paradise? Now it's turn into a dystopia of tarnished legacies and unemployment.

In late January, the East Bay Times wiped out a quarter of its editorial staff through layoffs and buy outs — a total of 28 staffers.

The funny thing about this move is that editorials are the only way that writers get any kind of funding and viewer traffic. No one else is going to read anything but sensationalized pablum.

We also learned in January that a total of five publications owned by Southern California News Group will face “significant layoffs,” including the OC Register and Los Angeles Daily News.

On our cable dials, while Fox News and MSNBC are open about their respective biases and thrive, the far-left CNN is not only collapsing in the ratings but dealing with some massive layoffs of its own. Over the past few years, CNN, which continues its ludicrous pose as an objective news organization,  has been in a credibility death spiral, and that is finally starting to take a real toll on the anti-Trump cable channel.

This is the best news yet. I can't want to see CNN become DOA.

None of this should be surprising.  Americans are losing faith in the media, and for good reason. The belligerent biases, the unrelenting fake news. As an example, just look at the past 18 hours. Both ProPublica and the New York Times have been caught spreading fake news about Gina Haspel, Trump’s pick to run the CIA, and the Washington media falsely reported that Trump had fired his national security adviser, H.R. McMaster.

For the record, I am more than happy to see McMaster get the blaster. He refuses to call Islam what it is, and that is wrong.

Alternately, this same media missed completely the biggest political story of the last 60 days — Trump replacing his secretary of state with his CIA director and choosing a woman to lead the spy agency, a historic first.

The press simply cannot stand the facts of the Trump Administration. The President has nominated, appointed, and promoted a number of women in his cabinet. However, the corrupt, anti-Trump ene-media are more interested in pushing a narrative of sexual harassment and abuse, particularly over the inconsequential and dubious reports about Trump's dalliances with porn star Stormy Daniels.

Our media is shockingly useless, constantly playing catch up with actual news while obsessing over rumor and innuendo.

The lies, damned lied, and blatant distortions of the press are coming home to roost. Their diligent, unrelenting bias has hurt their brand and their consumer base. Jerry Zucker is losing subscribers and interest by the day, and layoffs are following. I was in Arizona taking a break at the local McDonald's, and the restaurant was blaring CNN's non-stop coverage of the Pennsylvanian special election and the porn star's specious stories. It's sad.

Consider the fact that the media that protected Bill Clinton — a man who as president committed perjury to cover up his sexual affair with a young intern, an affair conducted just a few rooms away from his wife and daughter in the  Oval Office — is now obsessed over a porn star’s story that she might have had a consensual affair with Trump more than a decade ago.

One decade ago, and total obsession to boot. What a waste of media space. It's pretty sad to see how bitter and useless CNN--The Clinton News Network--has become. No one wants to watch them anymore as their Nielsen ratings continue to plummet.

But there's more:

When women credibly accused Clinton of rape, groping, and harassment, our media joined the White House in destroying them as liars. But this same media hoping to turn a 12-year-old consensual relationship into a national scandal.

Americans are tired of the media lying to them, misleading them, lecturing them… Today, there are plenty of alternative sources of news. No one needs to put up with what is called the MSM anymore.

What a wonderful day in the Republic!

Which reminds me…

To protect Barack Obama’s anemic economic “recovery,” our media tried to convince us that unemployment  in the Obama era, was really “funemployment.” When the working class, those our elitist media despise, lose their jobs to illegal immigrants, unfair trade deals, and oppressive and unnecessary environmental regulations, the media have dismissively suggested that they all catch up with the times and learn computer code.

Not only that, but the liberal, elitist--and racist--political and media class told the working poor and middle-income unemployed to spend time pursuing other hobbies and interests because they did not have a job. What fun, right?

Wrong, and now they arrogant media elites and their reporting enablers can go through the same tumults which they had forced on the working communities in our country.

So let me be the first to wish all of these “journalists” a Happy Funemployment and wish them luck all the luck in the world with their new careers as computer coders.

Such turnabout is fair play for the liberal press. They wanted to push a faulty, false narrative with their progressive, leftist agenda. No one wants to read the press' libera, regressive atenda.

Now they are going out of business.

This was one of the most lengthy and involved letters I have ever received from a reader.

I am surprised and delighted that my article has continued trending for the last week. Last check, my Townhall.com article "MAGA vs. DACA" had been shared on Facebook 11 THOUSAND times at least.

Anyway, I received this extended letter from a liberal reader. He was actually quite civil in this letter, and truly disgusted with Jimmy Kimmel's behavior and his crass attempt to shame and demean us Trump supporters on his show.

I also posted this as a comment to your article about your appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show before I noticed your email address... I hope that wasn't in bad form...  I'm very new to this (discussing politics with strangers)...  I guess that I'm doing it now because my frustration with everything is overwhelming...

Anyway, here is what I wanted to send you (I'm not sure if you have any time at all to read this):

Arthur, I am sorry about the way Jimmy Kimmel treated you and your friends. Even in the edited version of the video, there were times that it was obvious Kimmel wasn't letting you finish your points (or he just edited them out).

Not all liberals behave this way. Most of us (at least the people I know) want honest discussions about policy to improve our country. I have modified my stance on a few issues after lengthy discussions.

I am sorry for any insults from liberals, but as you know insults don't work from either side.

I want to respond to some of the things that you wrote, though.

You said, "I triggered this left-wing comic, and it was good! There is nothing more satisfying than catching white liberals in the depths of hypocrisy." I can't speak for you or Kimmel, but i want solutions... i don't care about who is triggered and by what they are triggered. There is nothing more satisfying than real solutions that maximize the number of people they help.

In watching the video, I was wondering why Esmeralda and her fiance don't just get married. As a side note, your offer to them was very generous. Even when they do get married, though, Esmeralda would have to return to Mexico and hope that she could obtain a visa to return legally before becoming a legal citizen under the current laws. This puts her in a very tough spot. Does she go to Mexico by herself? Does her daughter go with her? What about Michael? He definitely can't go with them. Personally, I think there should be a way for her to become a citizen without leaving her family.

I won't spend any more time on this anecdotal case, though. I want to get to the actual issues.

It is false that immigrants commit more crime than native born citizens. Illegal immigrants are HALF as likely to commit crimes once they are here and legal immigrants are even less likely (almost 70% less likely than native born citizens):

As for Ruben Morfin... crap, I'm getting back into anecdotal arguments... his death was a tragedy. The death of any child is a tragedy--in and from any country, religion, ethnicity, etc. But do you really have to go back to 1990 to find an example to help make your point? If your point is that illegal immigration is causing violence to American Citizens, it's a pretty weak argument. I do not want to diminish the tragedy, but it does not seem like the evidence is on your side. If you really want to help Americans, what about the 15,000 people killed by gun violence each year, excluding the 20,000 suicides using guns? About 200 people are killed each accidentally with guns. In the US, toddlers kill more people (unfortunately, mostly themselves) each year than terrorists do on American soil. In most years, the number of incidents in which guns were used defensively (there is no analysis regarding the necessity and effectiveness that I know of) is fewer than the accidental death number. Are guns the cause of violence in the US? Of course not. But neither is immigration, legal or illegal. Guns are a much larger symptom of the problem than immigration. The purpose of guns are to make killing more efficient and they succeed too often and too well. I am more than happy to discuss what I think is the root cause of violence (mostly gross education and income inequality, but that's the simple answer), but now does not seem like the right time to go into all of that. If you're looking for a band-aid to fix the symptom of violence against Americans, gun control would be much more inexpensive and effective than a border wall and deportation of illegal immigrants.

If you're looking for other ways to help Americans, 45,000 people die each year because of inadequate health insurance. Chanell also alluded to this problem. I agree completely. Most Americans support single-payer health care. Do you? This could eliminate this problem completely. And in the long run, it would save citizens a lot of money. I am open to discuss this as well, but I don't want to overload this response with too many details.

Just a couple of seemingly unrelated quick final comments:
You mentioned taking care of veterans and american citizens. I agree that this is super important, but do you really think that Trump and the Republican congress are the most likely to accomplish this? If so, how? The republican record is horrendous; the democrat record isn't much better, but it seems better to me.

I am curious how the "discredited" Southern Poverty Law Center fits into this... and since when have they been discredited?

Lastly, is immigration the primary concern for you (it seems like it is for Trump)? If so, why? You mentioned so many more important issues (at least I think they're more important): homeless veterans, inequity for minorities, senseless violence, lack of healthcare, etc. I could add some more issues to that list, but I'll do that another time. It seems like at least immigration from Mexico is not a major concern in our country, especially since our net immigration with Mexico is negative (there are more people leaving the US for Mexico than coming to Mexico from the US). Chris Matthews and His History of Inappropriate Behavior

Chris Matthews is now in hot water for sexual harassment.

A settlement was reached following sexual inappropriate remarks he had made in 1999 in front of NBC staffers.

The Daily Caller reports:

An MSNBC spokesman confirmed Saturday the company made a separation-related payment to one of Chris Matthews employees after the woman complained about sexual harassment.

Two sources familiar with the situation told The Daily Caller that Matthews paid $40,000 to settle with an assistant producer on his show, “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” in 1999 after she accused him of harassment. An MSNBC spokesperson contested that claim to the Caller, saying the company instead paid significantly less as part of a severance package.

The woman complained to CNBC executives about Matthews making inappropriate comments and jokes about her while in the company of others.

But let's not forget his ribald joke about New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and his wife Mary Pat:

Matthews also has a storied legacy of smearing people with the race card against conservatives.

LA Times Reporter on Mentor Anti-Semite Helen Thomas: "I Am Not Going to Comment on This"

Now this is really strange.

I not only found Hailey Branson's picture with anti-Semite Helen Thomas, but she even spoke at her memorial service.

This is really disturbing to me, and further reveals the deep bias in our media.

They stood around and celebrated this lady, the same lady who had shouted "The Jews should get the hell out of Palestine."

Those remarks were enough to force her into retirement.

Branson remarks in her speech: "She was everything I wanted to be."

Does that include hatred of Israel? A belief that Jewish people should not live in their homeland in the Middle East?

A reporter is supposed to detail the facts, but I have found that she attacks me and smears me in parts while writing the truth of the accounts in other reports. This hit-and-miss journalism is bad enough.

But she looked up to Helen Thomas as a hero?

This is really unfortunate.

I wrote her twice for a response on this, but she has not gotten back to me.

I called her directly, and she declared "I am not going to comment on this."

She doesn't like being under scrutiny herself?

This is pretty serious. I am a vocal supporter of the state of Israel, and it was a good day when Anti-Semite Helen Thomas was forced to step down following her hateful remarks. I also learned that she received an award from the Palestinian Liberation Organization for journalism.

WHAT?!

This is untenable, and simply cannot be supported.

I am urging everyone to contact the Los Angeles Times and demand answers. Why have they hired a reporter who allies herself with a rabid anti-Semite like Helen Thomas? Does the newspaper as a whole share similar views about Israel and Jews?

Donald Trump: Already Better Than Reagan

I was looking over the RNC autopsy from 2012-2013. What a difference four years makes. Republicans were all but written-off after what seemed like a winnable race for Mitt Romney. Then came 2014 and the GOP wipe-out all over the country and in the US Senate particularly.

The RNC "autopsy" actually--foolishly--concluded that caving on immigration and pandering to minorities would make the difference. They even thought that moving left on cultural issues like "gay marriage" would give the Republican Party an aura of "inclusiveness."

What about the Democratic Party? Have they demonstrated any capacity to welcome differences of opinion? Do they even care about the fundamental values of our Judeo-Christian culture?

Still, was there anything of note worth considering in the RNC report?

One of the most accurate and effective ideas related to the near-fanatical obsession of presidential candidate with President Ronald Reagan. Of course, there is a lot to like about The Gipper, which the Republican phalanx of activists should work hard to reflect:

• He was an outsider
• He connected well with everyday people.
• He cared about their everyday concerns
• He was not afraid to fight
• He showed strength
• He possessed moral acumen, and was not afraid to call evil what it was.
• He was a great communicator

We do not need another Ronald Reagan, as much was we need to seek out candidates who possess those qualities listed above.

But Reagan is dead, and the conservative phalanx in this country needs to do more than just look to the past and say Ronald Reagan 1,000 times. I still remember one of the most contentious debates in 2011, when every candidate on the podium announced that they followed Ronald Reagan's advice and tried to find some kind of hagiographic connection with the former President: "I shook his hand?"  or "He wrote me a letter!" or "I appeared in a photo with him once."

It's time to move on, people!

Now we have Donald Trump. Donald Trump racked up those characteristics and so much more.

He is very much an outsider. He was not a politician in any traditional or recorded sense. Oprah Winfrey asked him if he was thinking about running for President ... in 1988. He toyed with the idea for the 2000 election, but did not run. After all, he was a Reform Party candidate at the time.

He connects will with everyday people. I saw videos of Donald Trump talking with employees in his hotels He put himself in their shoes and did their work, He was really impressed with how hard they worked. The employees were shocked and  moved out how much he cared about their daily tasks.

He didn't hide nor apologize for his wealth, either. He did respect the work of laborers and tradesmen, though. That's important.

Reagan treaded more softly on immigration, which had not broadened into the serious issue which it has become today. He signed off on amnesty in 1986. Trump promised to build the wall which never came up when at the end of the Reagan Administration. Reagan slowed the growth of government, but Trump is already taking a battle ax to spending and bureaucracy.

Reagan cut taxes, but did nothing about the massive spending and debt. Trump and his Republican Congress will have no choice this time. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are overburdened. There are more retirees than workers, and the Baby Boomers are getting older but living longer.

While Reagan fought against international communism, Trump must face Islamic Terrorism, in which the rogue fatalists kill themselves in order to destroy as many of their opponents as possible. They have no moral equivalence or self-imposed set of limitations.

Trump has already rescinded the ban on taxpayer dollars for international abortions. He has signed off on the construction of the Dakota and Keystone pipelines. He has negotiated personally with corporations and large firms. He is restoring American prestige after two failed terms from a confirmed anti-American liberal fascist.

Ronald Reagan had to clean up the mess after only one term of the Peanut Farmer from Georgia.

Trump has a coalition of conservative agenda items to advance, and has done more in one week than Obama did in eight years. Trump has undone more of Obama's petty legacy than Reagan did of Carter's failed one term in one week, too.

Los Angeles Times Fail: Still in Denial About Trump Victory, Michigan Win

The Los Angeles Times has lost all inference of objectivity and integrity.

They are a full-on Democratic Party Pravda in one of the bluest states in the union, a state which has taken on every progressive agenda policy, to its hurt and the damage short and long-term against every citizen in the state.

They have just reported that the 55 electors are going to the state capital to cast their votes for presumably Hillary Clinton.

I wonder if any of them can be persuaded to change their ballot and vote for Bernie Sanders or for ... Donald Trump?

I just read an article in Politico in which a progressive Democrat, a hard-core Bernie Sanders supporter outraged with her party and the cheating lying Crooked Hillary Clinton campaign, casther ballot for Donald Trump!

Orange Coast College Instructor Calls President-Elect Trump "White Supremacist"

A student--who is remaining anonymous at this time--has outed a left-wing race-baiting community college instructor at Orange Coast College:

Olga Perez Stable Cox, a psychology instructor, went on abusive, anti-Trump rant in her human sexuality class on December 6, 2016.

Here is a transcript of her comments:

[Donald Trump is a ] white supremacist and a vice president that is one of the most anti-gay humans in this country. And so we are in for a difficult time but again I do believe that we can get past that. Our nation is divided, we have been assaulted, it’s an act of terrorism.

That is libel. To call someone a "white supremacist" or anti-gay (when in reality Vice-President-Elect Mike Pence is pro-natural marriage) is false.

The "white supremacy" lies have been batted down so many times by individual bloggers and researchers, that this invidious discrimination is now laughable.

Perhaps the students should sue the university for breach of contract, since the overt, liberal bent of this (and other) instructors indicates.

By the way, elections have consequences, and they are not acts of terrorism. Is this teacher calling every Trump supporter a terrorist? Does she have anything to say about the 19 hijackers from 9-11-2001? What about the daily attacks on Americans and Europeans in their own country?

Has she had anything to say about the Islamic radicals in our country killing Americans, too? Or do they get a pass?

One of the most frightening things for me and most people in my life is that the people creating the assault are among us. It is not some stranger from some other country coming and attacking our sense of what it means to be an American and the things that we stand for and that makes it more painful because I’m sure that all of us have people in our families and our circle of friends that are part of that movement and it is very difficult - we are way beyond Republicans and Democrats and we’re really being back to being at civil war - I don’t mean that in a fighting way but our nation is divided as clearly as it was in Civil War times. And my hope is we will get leadership to help overcome that.

If there is a civil, it's the California Democratic Party, which is embracing Confederate-like tactics, threatening to secede from the Union, and to enshrine its modern-day system of slavery--welfarism and illegal immigration.

 I will go over some coping skills but before I do that I want you to know that the optimist in me, first of all, we are the majority, more of us voted to not have that kind of leadership, and we didn’t win because of the way our electoral college is set up but we are the majority and that’s helping me to feel better. I’m relieved that we live in California it is one of the best states and I love that and I love living here but I’m especially proud of our legislature who did put out a message - one of the things I’m doing to cope is to look for positive messages and look for some hope that’s the optimist in me-and California legislative leaders did put something... and these are things you can find....”

She actually wanted to teach students coping skills? They do have a lot to cope with, what with all this illiberal indoctrination forced upon them.
