Former Utah Governor and U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman is a capable, qualified candidate.
Unfortunate, his moderate stance on cap-and-trade and his connection to the Obama administration are less than admirable.
His non-existent polling in Iowa, plus his similarities in fellow Mormon Mitt Romney practically exclude him from serious consideration.
He can speak Mandarin, he understands global economies, he knows how to execute laws in the best interests of the American people. However, he has failed to persuade the leery and weary GOP electorate that he is the one to stop Obama, his disastrous economic policies, or to enforce a meaningful presence in Washington or elsewhere.
Besides, I do not see how Huntsman could fare with and deft or determination debating his former boss. As Ambassador to China, Huntsman served his country, but he failed to shore up his political prospects.
Mr. Huntsman, your country needs you now more than ever. Please step aside for a determined and driven candidate to win the GOP nomination and take back the White House for the GOP.
