Enough With LGBT for Trump

It's time for tough talk and real exchange of truth.

The Trump Movement has attracted many types of people. OK, I get the value of breaking down the identity politics chokehold that the Democratic Party has imposed on the United States.

However, some of these "identities" should not be promoted. They are not identities at all, but rather destructive, harmful behaviors.

I am talking about homosexuality, transgenderism, and all the rest.

Sexual deviancies are not identities. People are not born gay, therefore those behaviors, those feelings, those desires are not identities.

They are not open to receiving civil rights protections, either.

If people are not born gay, if they are not born in the wrong sex, then why celebrate these behaviors are normal, or as static identities in the first place?

So, I share this message with all the conservatives, with all the conservative activists:

To all the Trump supporters and movers and shakers, we need to stop promoting this "LGBT for Trump" nonsense. Every one of us has human failings or has endured tragedies, but we do not identify with them. Do we have "Drug addicts for Trump" or "Meth Fiends for Trump" or "Sexually Abused for Trump"? Of course not.

Are there "Adultery Pride Parades" or "Alcoholic Pride Parades"? Of course not. People who struggle with same-sex temptations are welcome to the support the President, to exercise their natural rights like anyone else, but there should no longer be any privileged celebration of behaviors that cause destruction and harm to the individuals and the communities as a whole.

The evidence could not be more ... evident. No one is born gay, and therefore there is no immutable characteristic or right to such behaviors.

Fame Isn't Worth Much

One of the things I've discovered about the whole Donald Trump, conservative activist movement is that there have been some fake people. There have been infiltrators, and there have been selfish people who are just looking to make a name for themselves. Their biggest interest is to make money. Ther are also people who are looking for a lot of Fame. They think that whatever they lack in terms of self-esteem, all of it will be made up when they see their name in lights, or when people come up to them on the street and thank them for doing something.

My first experience on television, I was a guest on the Hot Seat with Wally George. This was in 2003, about five months before he died. I wasn't necessarily a guest who was trolled and shamed by Wally George, the way he would go after the guests on his show. He was combat TV all La Jerry Springer before it was popular. I went on the show because I was a writer for the local conservative paper—the one and only, in fact—at UC Irvine. Here's his obituary from 2003.

Fame has little to know bearing on one's afterlife, does it?

Wally George had written books, he had sold record albums, he had starred and co-starred on TV shows. He also had been through 3 divorces, he had an older daughter from whom he was estranged, and he had a young daughter as well from his third marriage. In his autobiography, he got in a car accident. His ribs were broken, but he survived because he was not wearing his safety belt. He got home safely enough, but for all the fame that he enjoyed, he lamented how he couldn't even pay the bills. In fact, he declared bankruptcy about ten years before his death.

It was right then that I learned how hollow fame really could be. I had interviewed him for the article I had written about him, and it was pretty sad what a washed-up has-been he had become. People might know your name, they might know your fame, and they might be grateful for things that you said or done, but the at the end of it all it really doesn't have any value. What you do, and what you're able to build on makes all the difference. A doctor who heals lives deserves more fame, yet his relative obscurity in the public eye ensures that he can provide excellent care in peace.

I was thinking about this issue when it comes to fame watching a rerun of The Late Show with Johnny Carson. The guest was Richard Pryor. Looking over this man's personal life just makes you weep. It's no surprise that many of his comedic colleagues pointed out that he found that fine line between comedy and tragedy. Richard Pryor was able to make others laugh, but I doubt he ever had a joyful moment in his own life. This man suffer from multiple injuries, from his parents when he was a child, and from himself when he was older. He was saddled with multiple sclerosis, and ultimately died.

What's the point of fame if you don't have peace? What's the point of fame if you feel that you are all alone in the world? Michael Jackson was the most famous musical Entertainer in the world. He won more Grammys than he can hold in his two arms. Yet even he would lament that he was the loneliest person in the world. And then of course there were the repeated charges of pedophilia, child abuse, and other crimes from which he barely got away with (?), and only because he died of cardiac arrest.

Now I think of Donald Trump. This man had a lot of fame, but he has become unjustly Infamous because of a corrupt press. What makes Donald Trump stand out today? His service to the country, what he offers to this country. He has come through on many promises, capturing the frustration and anger which many voters have expressed and exuded election after election. What makes Donald Trump special is not just that he's famous, but that the fame he created, he induced by manipulating a corrupt media to ensure that all of us would enjoy an America made great again.

Fame is kind of meaningless, really. It’s not an end in itself, but rather the after-effect of something you have done or said. It would be good for people like President Trump and want to make a difference to remember that. It’s not about who you are, but about what you choose. I am glad to have learned this lesson. Fame is not really important, and its benefits are negligible if not intangible and transient to begin with.

Trump Supporters: Fighting for "The Movement" is Not Enough

Sharp divisions have emerged among some Trump supporters.

There were the men and women who fought at the Battle of Berkeley in Mid-April. Then there have emerged sharp disagreements regarding the value and fate of Israel. I am shocked at some of the hostility from certain people calling themselves conservatives, who believe that Israel should not exist.

There are some supposed conservatives who also believe that the Jews control the media. These are racist canards which have nothing to do with MAGA conservatism. Did anyone of these anti-Israel detractors notice that President Trump has formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish State?

Internicine fights have emerged between different Trump supporters not just over which candidates to support in state or local elections. Personal tiffs have emerged into the public, much of it because adults insist on airing the personal grievances with people on social media.

This kind of behavior is fully immature and must be confronted.

There are people like Gay Cuck Spartan who jumped onto the Trump Train because they believed they could get some money or celebrity mileage out of ostentatious display.

What is causing much of this heart-ache and division? AL Werewolf mentioned the pride which agitates different Trump supporters to fight, and that's accepting the premise that some purported Trump supporters really care about the pro-American, Make America Great Agenda.

Johnny Benitez has been outed as a media-hound leftist by OC Weekly. The OCGOP has distanced itself from him because of his alt-right, in reality left-wing views. Other sources have indicated that Benitez is throwing a fit and starting fights with people because his "leadership" is under attack from other activists like me, Kyle Chapman, or anyone else.

And now I come to the premise for these fights: all this talk about commitment to a "movement". That kind of talk means nothing. What is "the movement"? The phrase alone implies following or jumping into some kind of fad.

For the Trump agenda to succeed, people in the fight to outline the goals they want to accomplish.

Do you want to make colleges great again, i.e. getting college-age students to stop drinking in communism as the big win for all? Then that's the fight you want to fight. Are you interested in educating voters on who Trump really is, rather than what the corrupt media, entertainment, and academic industries claim that he is? Then fight that fight.

Are you upset with illegal immigration? The attacks on free speech? What about the Second Amedment? The destructive assault on Judeo-Christian values in our country? Find that issue and fight for it, focus on making that a salient concern and start shifting the culture where you are--local, county, and statewide--to make a difference on that issue.

All this talk about "The Movement" is not defining a clear set of goals and focused outcomes. When people focus on accomplishing goals, not seeking their own pre-eminence, there is less conflict and more cooperation. I think part of the reason there are fights is that people are looking for an easy, fun time to show up to public events and showcase their support. Then they deal with people they do not like on their side of the street as well as on the opposite side. People are also getting caught up in which group they belong to, rather than focusing on the concerns they want to fight for.

one issue: immigration

Get over the labels. Establish the goals or the ideas that you want to promote, and get out there and do it!

Public appearances are all about making sure that the "Trump" side of the debate is heard, not just the pro-illegals, the progressives, the media Left, etc. This is a big issue, especially since the corrupt, self-limiting media have not stopped shaming and slamming the conservative policies which are taking off in this country. Why else does the polling show dissatisfaction with the tax cuts?

This is about more than some amorphous movement. This is about fighting for everything that has made America great, and which needs to be promoted so that American can be great again!
