WORKSITE ENFORCEMENT 08/08/2018 ICE executes federal search warrants in Nebraska, Minnesota and Nevada 133 arrested on immigration violations while executing the criminal warrants https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/ice-executes-federal-search-warrants-nebraska-minnesota-and-nevada GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — During a multi-state operation led by special agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), a series of criminal arrest warrants were executed Wednesday for 17 individuals connected to an alleged criminal conspiracy to exploit illegal alien laborers for profit, fraud, wire fraud and money laundering in Nebraska and Minnesota. In addition to these arrest warrants, authorities also served search warrants for worksite hiring violations at agricultural firms in Nebraska and Minnesota, and federal document search warrants at locations throughout Nebraska, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota; Appleton, Minnesota; and Las Vegas, Nevada.  During this investigation, authorities identified employees who were subject to arrest for immigration violations and were unlawfully working at these businesses. These individuals have been illegally residing and working in the United States; they may also have been exploited as part of this alleged criminal conspiracy.  During the execution of these search warrants Aug. 8, 133 illegal workers were administratively arrested for immigration violations; some will be issued notices to appear before a federal immigration judge and released from custody; the rest will remain in ICE custody pending immigration court proceedings. Law enforcement believes the alleged conspirators, 17 individuals located in multiple states, colluded to create an illegal alien workforce in their respective businesses.  By doing so, they defrauded the U.S. government and created an unfair advantage over their competition businesses. Additionally, authorities suspect the illegal aliens who were knowingly hired as part of this alleged conspiracy were exploited by the conspirators through force, coercion, or threat of arrest and/or deportation. Specifically, these illegal aliens were allegedly required to cash their paychecks at an illegal remittance business for a fee, have tax money deducted from their pay even though this money was never paid to the government, and were coerced to remain quiet about this criminal activity. Search warrants were served at the following businesses and locations:  Christensen Farms with numerous locations in Appleton, Minnesota; Sleepy Eye, Minnesota; and Atkinson, Nebraska; Elkhorn River Farms in O’Neill, Nebraska; O’Neill Ventures in O’Neill, Nebraska; La Herradura Restaurant in O’Neill, Nebraska; El Mercadito (grocery store) in O’Neill, Nebraska; A private ranch in O’Neill, Nebraska; La Herradura Restaurant in Stromsburg, Nebraska; GJW LLC with three locations in Ainsworth, Nebraska; J.E. Meurets Grain Company in Ainsworth, Nebraska; Herd Co Cattle Company in Bartlett, Nebraska; and Long Pine (farm) in Royal, Nebraska. Note:  The above list of locations does not include private residences included in the execution of search and arrest warrants. This enforcement action is part of a 15-month, ongoing HSI investigation based on evidence that these companies allegedly knowingly hired illegal aliens at their facilities, and that many of these aliens are using fraudulent identification belonging to U.S. citizens. “The job magnet in the United States is primarily what draws illegal aliens across our borders,” said Special Agent in Charge Tracy J. Cormier, HSI St. Paul, which oversees Nebraska and Minnesota. “This HSI-led criminal investigation has shown that these targeted businesses were knowingly hiring illegal workers to unlawfully line their own pockets by cheating the workers, cheating the taxpayers, and cheating their business competitors.”The following individuals were listed in the indictment.  Those marked with an asterisk (*) are not yet in custody follow the Aug. 8 criminal arrests. Jimenez Castellon, Asiyadeth Jimenez Castellon, John Glidden, *Jaime Garcia Cota, aka "David," and Lillian Ajin. This HSI-led enforcement action was coordinated with federal, state and local counterparts including the following agencies: U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska; ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations; U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Border Patrol, CBP Air and Marine Operations; and the following Nebraska law enforcement agencies: Holt County Sheriff’s Office, O’Neill Police Department and Nebraska State Patrol. In the context of any enforcement action, ICE utilizes prosecutorial discretion on cases involving humanitarian concerns, such as health or family considerations. Accordingly, during the enforcement action Wednesday, several individuals were processed and released from custody the same day on humanitarian grounds. The illegal aliens who remain in ICE custody after being administratively arrested on immigration violations will be transported to a nearby processing facility and placed in removal proceedings. Detained aliens will be held in facilities in Nebraska and Minnesota while awaiting removal proceedings. A 24-hour toll-free detainee locator hotline is available for family members of those arrested in this operation to field questions about their detention location and status, and the removal process. The hotline operates in English and Spanish; the phone number is 1-888-351-4024. The allegations contained in federal indictments, complaints and warrants are merely accusations and are not proof of wrongdoing. All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. HSI is the federal law enforcement agency responsible for upholding the laws established by the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), which requires employers to verify the identity and work eligibility of individuals they hire. These laws help protect jobs for U.S. citizens and other lawful residents, eliminate unfair competitive advantages for companies that unlawfully hire an illegal workforce, and strengthen public safety and national security. As in this case, unauthorized workers often use stolen identities of legal U.S. workers, which can profoundly damage for years the identity-theft victim’s credit, medical records and other aspects of their everyday life. HSI’s worksite enforcement investigators help combat worker exploitation, illegal wages, child labor and other illegal practices. Worksite enforcement investigations often involve additional criminal activity, such as alien smuggling, human trafficking, money laundering, document fraud, worker exploitation and/or substandard wage and working conditions. In addition to conducting investigations, HSI also uses I-9 audits to create a culture of compliance among employers. In July, ICE announced a two-phase operation under this effort.

Separation of Illegal Alien Families: What Jeff Sessions Quoted from the Bible

The lamestream media no longer hides their anti-American machinations. They routinely slander the President and his executive team, specifically for enforcing the United States’ immigration laws, something which the previous president refused to do.

The coverage in the printed press and on TV showcases the plights of the poor illegal alien families, refugees who are fleeing their home countries seeking a better life.

Now they have gone full SJW, slamming Trump and his leadership for separating illegal alien children from their parents.

Rebuffing this insensate criticism from the media, Sessions quoted the Bible:

"Persons who violate the law of our nation are subject to prosecution ... I would cite you to the Apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13 to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained the government for his purposes. Orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves ... and protect the weak and it protects the lawful."

Specifically, Sessions is quoting Romans 13:1: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”

Notice that Sessions referenced “orderly and lawful processes” and to “protect the weak and the lawful.” Why would anyone criticize these goals? If United States citizens go to jail for committing crimes, the children don’t join them. Why should it be any different with illegals and their children?

Of course, the anti-Christian bias spilled over in subsequent reports about Sessions’ Bible reference. The snide inferences in a Washington Post commentary took the same tired, extreme, racist argument:

Sessions says the Bible justifies separating immigrant families. The verses he cited are infamous.

Can you feel the clickbait already? What infamy does the commentator refer to?

When British subjects in the original 13 colonies started rolling up their sleeves for the fight for independence in the 1770s, loyalist preachers hammered on a particular Bible verse from their pulpits.

When Southern preachers blasted Northern abolitionists for defying the Fugitive Slave Act in the decade leading to the Civil War, they cited the same lines.

Such flagrantly misleading headlines shouldn’t be in print. In the two contexts referenced above, the political interests favoring the British Empire and the “peculiar institution” misused that verse to demand allegiance to unjust, ungodly government policies.

Let’s take on the misuse of God’s Word first, then let’s focus on Sessions’ proper application of Romans 13:1.

For starters, God intends for every person to live freely within Him. Jesus came to set us all free from the bondage of sin, for example:

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” (Isaiah 61:1)

During His earthly ministry, Jesus—The Way, the Truth, and the Life—told the Israelites:

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

Paul the Apostle defines the Holy Spirit in line with freedom, too:

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)

God did not intend for rulers to tyrannize their people, for all power does indeed come from God, as Paul wrote in Romans 13:1. In fact, Jesus’ heart is that we would have His abundant life (John 10:10), and the Apostle John voiced God’s desire that we prosper inside and outside (3 John 2). Tyranny and repression are incompatible with God’s will.

During the American Revolution, the British government had no right to deny the rights of Englishmen in one part of the world while recognizing the rights of Englishmen in the home country. The American colonists asserted their Biblical authority to form their own government. Our rights come from God, as affirmed in the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.”  Those words are revolutionary now as they were when Thomas Jefferson penned them in 1776.

 As for slaveholders in the Ante-Bellum United States, no passage justifies enslaving another man because of his skin color. Paul the Apostle recognized that master-slave relationships in Rome, but he told masters to respect their slaves:

“And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.” (Ephesians 6:9)

He even exhorted a slave master (Philemon) to treat a slave (Onesimus) as a brother in Christ. Paul had met Onesimus in prison, shared the Gospel with him, and the slave believed in Jesus Christ.

Paul then sent the slave back to Philemon with these instructions:

“For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever; Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?” (Philemon 15,16)

Now let us consider Sessions’ use of Romans 13:1. In a constitutional republic, leaders receive their power from “We the People.” They draft laws and outline legal processes for all matters, including detainment of illegal aliens. If the people do not like these actions, they can petition for a redress of grievances or change their leaders. Furthermore, these laws are being applied equitably. Trump’s executive team have provided food and housing for the illegal minors.  If the families don’t want to be separated, they should not break the law.

Sessions did not undermine the spirit or letter of God’s Word. The press is just hyperventilating (again) in another desperate bid to smear and undermine the President and his righteous enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. If the press wants to uphold Biblical principles, they should stop lying, distorting people’s comments and misleading the public.

January 24, 2017: Claremont Contemplates California Liberal Craze, Seeking Sanctuary Status

On January 24, 2017, the Claremont City Council will decide whether or not Claremont will become a SANCTUARY CITY.  Please attend and tell the council not to declare Claremont a sanctuary city and to rescind all illegal sanctuary policies.

How this came about:  in December, 25 people spoke during public comment and urged the Council to declare Claremont a sanctuary city.  Their pleas were about bringing "people out of the shadows" and 'equal treatment for all people", etc.  Their urgency was to have Claremont declared a Sanctuary City as a rebuff against any action President Trump may take to withhold Federal Funding to Sanctuary Cities. 

We are anticipating those in favor of Sanctuary City status will be at the Council meeting in large numbers; college professors, students, liberal residents and people not from Claremont but who are working hard to have as many Sanctuary cities in CA as possible.   They are well organized.

I am asking for your help in countering the onslaught of liberals and illegal alien sympathizers who are trying hard to influence Claremont to make this declaration.

1.  Call Claremont City Council, Mayor and City Manager.  (Councilmembers and Mayor have the same City number, so please call each of them separately, rather than just using one call for all).  The City Manager has a different number.
