Revolt Against the Mouse: Disney Pays the Price for Going Woke

REVOLT AGAINST THE MOUSE
Our campaign against Disney has put a price on woke capital.

Two weeks ago, amid the controversy about The Walt Disney Company’s opposition to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, I released exclusive internal videos from Disney that revealed the company’s plans to inject gender ideology into its children’s programming. The videos drove the news cycle for more than week, generated billions of media impressions, and shifted the national debate about public education and gender ideology.

More importantly, my team helped connect the story to public policy, using it as a supporting narrative for activism against woke capital. The goal was to force Disney to pay a price for transgressing the values of middle-class families and forcing left-wing gender ideology onto children. And the early evidence suggests that this campaign was a smashing success.

Here are some of the outcomes:

• Ensured that congressional Republicans will not vote to extend Disney’s copyrights on characters such as Mickey Mouse when they expire at the end of next year, delivering a multibillion-dollar intellectual property loss to the company.

• Inspired multiple Disney employees to speak out against the company’s left-wing sexual politics, putting a countervailing internal pressure on executives.

• Sparked grassroots demonstrations at Disney’s theme parks in Orlando, Florida, and Anaheim, California.

• Strengthened the position of Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans, who courageously stood up to Disney and passed the Parental Rights in Education Act. Following the anti-Disney backlash, some Florida legislators are even considering eliminating Disney’s special exemptions and tax breaks within the state.

We are building a new model of conservative activism: waging narrative and symbolic warfare, mobilizing grassroots parent-driven protests, designing robust policies to change incentives, and supporting strong leaders who are willing stand with families against hostile and nihilistic elite institutions.

As always, this activism depends on your support. Please consider becoming a $5 or $10 monthly patron and help strike a blow against woke capital.

Manhattan Beach School Board Member Jason Boxer: Closet Communist

The voters of Manhattan Beach Unified School District need to start paying attention to who ends up on their school board.

Easy Reader News published a very slanted, biased article blasting parents and propping up the school board members because of the growing outrage against school closures, lockdowns, and LGBT-CRT indoctrination in the classrooms.

One of the most noxious facts that they left out of their report is that Jason Boxer, one of the newly-elected school board members, is a card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

The first thing that comes to mind when I see this profile?

Oh brother! Imagine Barack Obama's "Pajama Boy" with lighter hair, and that's Jason Boxer.

But it gets worse ... much worse.

He's one of the "non-binary" types, and he pushes the LGBT agenda in so many destructive waves. You can see his destructive LGBT promotionalism on his Instagram account. Click here.

Ironically, he prefers "they/them" pronouns, according to his bio, but he also calls himself "a pretty nice guy."

Check it out here:

How can he claim to be non-binary but still call himself a "guy"? Clearly, he is confused.

And confused people should not be in charge of young people's education.

But the worst aspect about his tenure on the school board, again, is that he is a card-carrying socialist.

Don't take my word for it. Check out the DSA-LA website (Click here):

In addition to our endorsed candidates, we also celebrate the victories won by progressive candidates throughout the city, county, state, and country, both DSA-endorsed and otherwise. Locally, these include Jason Boxer for Manhattan Beach Unified School Board.

What do you need to know about socialism?

Take from Soviet Communist Vladimir Lenin himself:

Here are some statistics about Communism, for the growing number of uneducated or miseducated in the world:

How about hearing the testimonies of men and women who survived communist regimes?

Why were there so many "boat people" fleeing Southeast Asia in the 1970s? Communism!

Manhattan Beach residents need to pay attention to their school board races. Perhaps they need to think about launching a recall as soon as possible to get rid of this creepy soyboy.

It is unconscionable how bad it has gotten in local education politics in the South Bay. Card-carrying communists (masquerading as socialists) are seated on local school boards pushing all kinds of perversion under the guise of "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion", etc.

Instead of educating children about the true, full history of the United States, there is a determined push by ingrained Marxists and their teachers' union ilk to push racism and class-ism to further divide communities and the country.

Communism is one of the evilest ideologies in modern history, and to think that today, there are elected officials pushing this wicked madness is just unthinkable, and in the South Bay of Los Angeles County, no less.

Has Jason Boxer ever visited a country run under a communist regime? Cuba? Venezuela? North Korea? Would he like to explain why so many of the citizens in those countries are fleeing those countries to live elsewhere? Would Mr. Boxer (yes, Mister!) like to explain why Communism leaves nothing but destruction and desecration in its wake wherever it pops up?

He owes the people of Manhattan Beach some answers, at the very least.

He is pushing LGBT perversion. Why?

He is pushing Marxist hate. Why?

He does not listen or care about the real concerns of parents and children alike. Why?

Jason Boxer, the Closet Communist, needs to answer for these hateful leanings!

Contact the Manhattan Beach School Board, and demand Jason Boxer's removal!

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez: Reverse Robin Hood, Vulture Capitalist Fraud

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is back in the news, again ...

This time, she is playing victim all while claiming to champion the Little Guy against Wall Street. But is she really a champion for the little guy?

Sure, she worked as a bartender, then got elected to Congress, unseating an out-of-touch incumbent who had been representing the Bronx for a number of years.

But she had an idyllic childhood, growing up in Westchester, more up in upstate New York, going to elite schools--and she got an expensive college education, too.

But ... she has made some statements going after Big Tech and Big Business, right? She even waded into the controversy over the GameStop-Reddit-Robinhood Short Sell fiasco.

Her was her first tweet to confront this problem of Wall Street stickin into the individual investors all while to game the rules for themselves:

Then, when US Senator Ted Cruz indicated his full agreement with her, and his interest in doing something about it, she lied about him and pushed him off:

She really felt threatened by US Senator Ted Cruz? She actually believes that he tried to have her killed a few weeks ago? How many more videos do people need to see before more people start to realize that this was a coordinated effort? Why else would the US Capitol police have done so little, going so far as to escort individuals onto the floor of the US Senate? Don't believe me? Here's the video.

Clearly,  AOC is a brazen liar, a total sham and shame artist trying to knock Republicans.

AOC is backing away from taking on Robinhood because she does not want to get killed by Republicans?

Is that what is really going on here?

Well, perhaps not. Check out what "Mr. Wonderful" Kevin O'Leary found out about AOC a few days ago:

As one of the stars of the ABC reality TV show "Shark Tank", Kevin O'Leary is honest about his interest in making money. Capitalism is good. Free markets are good. Getting rich is good, and he is very honest, very up front about his interests, his demands. He does not shy away from pointing out that business and competition are a ruthless business, and not for the faint of heart.

At least he's consistent. In fact, he ran for leadership of the Canadian Conservative Party some years ago, hoping to push for a profound resurgence of fiscal discipline and international busisness competitive strength for Canada.

And, in brutal yet entertaining fashion, he bashes Alexandria Ocasio Cortez in his Twitter video about. For all her protestations about being a big-time socialist who wants to push equity and equality for everyone, she is all about making money. She is all about raking in the dough for herself by selling merch. WHAT A HYPOCRITE!

She wants to "Eat the Rich", but only so that she can become rich herself. She has no interest in taking on Wall Street. She gets rich off of making big sales and big deals. She has a brand, and she is ... wait for it ... capitalizing on it! She probably learned everything she knows from President Donald Trump, the expert at making money off a brand name, especially when you don't have anything else to profit from.

AOC isn't backing away from a proposal to do something about Robinhood because she fears for her life. She is backing away from taking on Wall Street because she fears for her pocketbook!

AOC is a corporate shill, a vulture capitalist sell-out. She plays herself up as some kind of champion for the Little Guy, for the 99% that has been screwed over by Wall Street--Washington DC collusion.

The truth is that she gets rich, and she wants to stay rich by exploiting working class anger against other rich people who are not herself.

She has no interest in doing anything about Robinhood or the rigged rule changes and insider trading on Wall Street. She's a sappy, insipid champagne socialist, one of the very rich who are getting richer, while everyone else gets poorer and poorer because of abusive government overreach.

AOC is a vulture capitalist fraud, simple as that. She profits off of people's angst and outrage, telling them to hate "the rich", but at the same time she makes big money off the very people she claims to champion, making them so much poorer in the process.

In other words, she's a reverse Robin Hood: she robs the poor to feed the rich, i.e. herself.

Louis Reyes and Bob Kowell were part of the team that organized patriots to attend the 5/14/19 Temecula City Council meeting.

Victory in Temecula! Citizens stood up for Resolution 19  in support of the U.S. Constitution that denounced socialism and communism. Read the resolution at the end of this email. At the previous city council meeting on 4/23/19, the mayor shelved Resolution 19 when dozens of leftists spoke out against the resolution. VIEW the left speaking at the 4/23/19 Temecula City Council meeting here:

However, the citizens showed up in force at the following city council meeting on 5/14/19 and called for the resolution to be reintroduced and passed at a future council meeting. About 17 people spoke out during public comments in favor of the resolution and about 5 leftists spoke out in opposition to the resolution.

MassResistance: A True Pro-Family Leader Elected President of Brazil

A True Pro-Family Leader Elected President of Brazil

Campaigned jokingly as “a proud homophobe”

by Arthur Schaper
January 24, 2019
ALT TEXT
For the first time in decades, Brazil has elected a right-wing President whose beliefs are in stark contrast to the socialism (along with its graft, and legalized theft) which has dominated Brazilian politics.
The new President, Jair Bolsonaro ran to end business as usual in many ways. He would allow law-abiding Brazilian citizens to own firearms. He vowed to crack down on rampant crime and gang activity. Like President Trump, he swore to relocate the Brazilian embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. All of these conservative promises are stunning, and let’s hope that he follows through on them.
His most stirring campaign promises, unheard of in the Western World today, rested on pro-family issues. He actually campaigned as a homofóbico orgulhoso, or a “proud homophobe”. Not surprisingly, the mainstream media became hysterical. As The Guardian reports:
In nearly three decades as a congressman, Jair Bolsonaro has never concealed his dislike of gay people. “Yes, I’m homophobic – and very proud of it,” he once proclaimed.
In a 2013 interview with Stephen Fry – which the British actor later called “one of the most chilling confrontations I’ve ever had with a human being” – the far-right populist claimed “homosexual fundamentalists” were brainwashing heterosexual children to “become gays and lesbians to satisfy them sexually in the future”. Bolsonaro declared: “Brazilian society doesn’t like homosexuals.”
His position would be not only be unheard of the United States, but such a politician would be forced into a dark corner, never to emerge in politics ever again. “Conservative” Governors in the United States have caved in to corporate bullying, including ludicrous threats to boycott their states, after merely signing commonsense legislation to protect religious liberty or ensures the safety and sanctity of women and children in restrooms.
In Canada, such a politician would likely face fines, lawsuits, or even imprisonment. Regular citizens like Bill Whatcott are enduring such persecution in their own “free, Western” countries precisely because they speak out against the LGBT agenda, and in much softer terms than Bolsonaro. Other political candidates pledged to abolish  gay marriage, like Marine Le Pen of France, but even she was reticent about it, and she ultimately lost.
Some defenders could chalk up Bolsonaro’s blunt rhetoric as that … mere rhetoric. After all, Bolsonaro assured voters that he would govern for the good of all Brazilians. At the same time, he rightly condemned the whole LGBT movement as a bunch of people filled with “self-pity”, or more accurately, self-defined by their “victimization.” This victim tactic from the LGBT Left has been used successfully to bully legal and cultural concessions from the most of the Western World.
However, these tactics failed in Brazil, and “The Trump of the Tropics” won by a stunning 55%. Strangely enough, 29% of homosexuals voted for Bolsonaro in order to avoid another corrupt, socialist government. Besides, gay marriage is already legal in Brazil, but that did not stop the newly-elected President from speaking out against the whole ideology and the lifestyles connected to it.
In fact, he ran as a “Proud Homophobe,” and still won.  After his swearing in, the new conservative President announced his goals and commitments:
To unite the people, rescue the family, respect religions and our Judeo-Christian tradition, combat gender ideology, conserving our values.
Imagine if citizens heard more of that from President Trump, Prime Minister Trudeau, or even French President Emmanuel Macron!
Within hours after his inauguration, Bolsonaro issued an executive order in which homosexuals, transgenders, and the rest would no longer receive special rights under the Human Rights Commission. This is the kind of  bold move needed from conservatives around the world to protect the natural rights of all, the nuclear family, and the stability of the nation.
Thankfully, Bolsonaro is not the only executive resisting the political correct pressure to protect LGBT behaviors as a civil right. Others are at least taking baby steps in that direction. President Trump has rolled back recognition of homosexual activism and history in his Administration. His Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Ben Carson, rejected granting “special rights” to any one group. Florida’s new governor Ron DeSantis removed LGBT protections as another category for protection from discrimination.
But Bolsonaro’s rhetoric and action have been the boldest yet. Why did this candidate succeed in Brazil with such a bold anti-LGBT platform? On a larger note, why hasn’t this strong pro-family pushback emerged in other Western Countries?
Perhaps there’s a connection to Brazil’s victories with the rise of conservative cultural warrior leaders in Eastern Europe – populist right-wing parties winning elections and expanding their government majorities.
These reasons explain these electoral pro-family trends:
  1. Brazil, Hungary, and Poland have direct experience with the soul-crushing tyranny of socialism. The state-sponsored political correctness which harshly monitored what people could think, let alone say or write, has never left the corporate conscience of these countrymen.
  2. The religious fervor in these countries has resurged or been restored in sharp retaliation against the imperious secularism brought by decades of socialist government.
  3. Corporations and wealthy businessmen in the West have been the biggest drivers of this destructive LGBT agenda. Consider Tim Cook of Apple, George Soros, Tim Gill, and Paul Singer who invest millions into pro-gay politicians and activism. In contrast, Brazil’s government has controlled most of the industries, and there are far fewer independent multi-millionaires to dabble into social engineering through politics.
  4. Universities are not as influential in these regions. Must of this cultural degradation has oozed out of over-priced four-year universities in America, Canada, and Western Europe. In Brazil, most people are struggling to get by, and universities have neither the time nor the resources to indulge in esoteric pro-LGBT propagandizing.
  5. The emotional state of both Eastern Europe following irresponsible mass migration and the economic collapse in Latin American countries like Brazil have so consumed the voters that they welcome a complete return to normalcy, which includes a rigid restoration of natural marriage and family.
One thing is certain: with more bold leaders like Bolsonaro speaking unequivocally against the destructive nature of homosexuality and its accompanying behaviors, more leaders and citizens like with gather the courage to speak the truth about the LGBT agenda, and find the resources and popular sentiment to support their fight for faith, family, and freedom.
Hopefully, for that to happen in the United States, Canada, or Europe the economic and political dynamics will not have to sink to such a chaotic low as they had done in Brazil.

Hell Freezes Over: Communist Cuba Recognizes Private Property

Hell continues to freeze over.

Or better yet, Heaven is breaking through the dark clouds of decades past.

Francis Fukuyama analyzed these increasingly welcome realities.

Communist regimes do not stay communistic for the long run, even under their communist leaders.

The first dictator is the harshest, the most brutal.

Then the successors start to ease away from such hateful, stringent, bloodthirsty policies because the second tier of leaders want to live with some sense of peace and liberty.

Cuba has been a communist hell hole since 1959.

60 years later, we have witnessed Fidel Castro inviting religious institutions to speak to the Cuban people. Orthodox churches have opened up on the island, too.

Then Castro stepped down in favor of his brother Raul.

Then Raul moved aside to allow for elections.

The elections were not a true contest of ideas and political visions, but they took place.

A new President is now governing Cuba.

For the latest development, the Cuban Constitution will now recognize private property.

Here's the full report from Reuters:

HAVANA (Reuters) - Communist-run Cuba will officially recognize private property, something it has long rejected as a vestige of capitalism, under a new constitution that also creates the position of prime minister alongside the president, state media reported on Saturday.

State media has reported this further liberalizing element, but such moves are inevitable withing command-control countries, since communistic policies cannot sustain any society for long.

Consider what happened to the Pilgrim settlers during the first winter, when they worked with a common store instead of allow for individual liberty and responsibility through private property.

Cuba’s current Soviet-era constitution only recognizes state, cooperative, farmer, personal and joint venture property.

But former President Raul Castro’s market reforms, aimed at trying to boost the economy and make Cuban socialism more sustainable, have prompted hundreds of thousands of Cubans to join the ranks of the island’s self-employed since 2010, in new privately-owned businesses ranging from restaurants to beauty salons.

"Making socialism sustainable" is nothing short of impossible. Free markets, free enterprise, and free people are the only ways for any state, any society, any community to remain sustainable.

I can't believe that we haven't read more about what Raul Casto had initiated. It's particularly telling that while Cuba's economy is opening up, Puerto Rico's economy has completely collapsed.

Ruling Communist Party newspaper Granma published a summary of the new constitution on Saturday, saying a draft it had seen included 224 articles, up from 137 previously.

Details were not immediately available, and Reuters did not see the draft. But Granma said it enshrined recognition of both the free market and private property in Cuba’s new Magna Carta.

A new Magna Carta ... which we cannot see.

Hmm ... it's a good idea for the rest of the world to remain skeptical and see how things roll out on the island pariah nation.

That could mean enhanced legal protections for Cuba’s fledgling entrepreneurs, and foreign investors too, even though Granma said the constitution reaffirmed that central planning and state enterprise are the pillars of the economy overall.

Watch the central planning unravel. One individual citizens get a real taste of liberty, they will never settle for bondage and statism again.

It also noted the Communist Party would remain as Cuba’s dominant political force.

That would last long. Of course, the Communist Party is the dominant party, but the country is authoritarian, not communistic anymore since business is booming, and Donald Trump is finally talking tough and hitting the country's products with hefty tariffs.

Cuba expert Luis Carlos Battista at the Washington-based Center for Democracy in the Americas cautioned that the acknowledgement of private property did not mean the government wanted to give private enterprise a greater role.

Of course. We get that this is a baby step. Most likely the Cuban government is taking the step because they fear military sanctions from Trump, the United States, and the rest of the Western World. I think it's worth noting that under President Trump's watch, North Korea has moved to denuclearize their weapons, China is forced to play fair (or at least fairer).

Now we have Cuba backing away from its communistic past. I don't think any of this would have happened under the weaker leadership of Crooked Hillary.

Earlier this week, he noted, the government published a set of regulations tightening control on the self-employed and hiking possible fines to include property confiscation.

According to Granma, the government commission revamping the constitution will present its draft to the national assembly when it meets next week. It will then be put to a national referendum, expected later this year.

A National Referendum? I bet that there are plenty of black market operations at work throughout Cuba, and there's nothing that the Cuban Communist Government can do to stop it.

The commission is headed by Castro, 87, who remains head of the Communist Party.

Miguel Diaz-Canel

New President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who sits on the commission, is also expected to announce his council of ministers at the assembly meeting.

This will be interesting.

Apart from introducing the position of prime minister, dividing the roles of head of state and head of government, the new constitution makes the president head of the assembly and imposes a term limit on the presidency of two consecutive five-year periods.

Let's see if the people of Cuba remain vigilant enough to keep the powers that be honest to these promises. Again, once they get a taste of freedom, they will be less likely to tolerate any return to the statist authoritarianism of the Castro regimes.

Castro, who together with his older, late brother Fidel Castro ruled the country for nearly 60 years, had proposed the limit in 2011, as part of a bid to modernize the political system.

Irony Alert: Merchant Celebrating Bernie Sanders Makes Money ... Capitalism

I could not pass up writing about this. At the Orpheum Theater Bernie Sanders event, people all over were selling ... stuff.

They were using free enterprise, free markets, trade, exchange, i.e. capitalism to make money.

And yet they want to celebrate a politician who believes in socialism and forced redistribution of wealth. Can anyone see the irony in any of this?

Anyone?

SAD!

YouTube Censoring More Conservative Videos

Friends, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:
  • YouTube tried to censor our video on a Democrat operative’s 2016 schemes:  CRC’s latest video exposing the dirty secrets of Democratic operatives in the 2016 election was removed by YouTube for supposedly violating its "hate speech" rules… less than 6 hours after it went live! It contains no hate speech; only the truth about anti-conservative smear campaigns. (Watch that video here -- eventually the company relented and restored the video.) This isn’t the first time YouTube -- a  subsidiary of Google -- has tried to silence CRC and other conservative messages, and we don’t expect it will be the last.
  • Do you know about George Soros’ schemes in Eastern Europe?  In our series "George Soros’ Romanian Ghosts," Jacob Grandstaff investigates how left-wing billionaire George Soros spread his "open society" ideology to Eastern Europe. Soros may claim he’s promoting "democracy," but the tactics his army of radical activists use to thwart democratically elected governments suggests otherwise.
  • Have you seen our statement on the "dirty dossier?" Over 210,000 viewers already have. CRC vice president and chief investigative officer Dr. Steven J. Allen reports on the biggest story so far of 2018: how officials in the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and the FBI used a fake dossier to try to sabotage Donald Trump’s chances in the 2016 election -- using it to claim he had spied for Russia. Dr. Allen has studied the so-called "dirty dossier" since last summer, and it took just two days for his fascinating statement to reach hundreds of thousands of viewers.
  • Featured Philanthropy -- Is America having an identity crisis?  That’s the question posed in this featured article in National Review from CRC’s Michael E. Hartmann and former Bradley Foundation vice president Daniel P. Schmidt. If Americans lose their sense of shared national pride, they write, we risk losing our national identity altogether. Schmidt and Hartmann suggest that it may be time for a national dialogue on the qualities that define America -- and fortunately for us, a decade-old report by the Bradley Foundation could guide that discussion. Read it here.
