Nullify Obergefell--No False Marriage, Restore True Marriage!

This article is archived here for those who prefer to read from a website FEDERAL TYRANNY VS STATES RIGHTS ON TRUE MARRIAGE WND recently covered a story from the U.K. in which a public health agency has declared – with total conviction – that Christian beliefs regarding marriage are “incompatible with human dignity.” In America, and much of the Western world, public policy on the many variants of homosexuality and “transgenderism” has left the world of rationality and plunged increasing deeper into literal insanity. Normal people are being punished for “misgendering” those who invent new “gender identities” and matching pronouns for themselves; many young people are clamoring to be chemically and surgically mutilated; women athletes (no matter how strong their feminist credentials) are routinely suffering humiliating defeats by men in drag; and even conservative media have so lost their bearing that sodomy-based partnerships (like that showcased by the unfortunately named Peter Buttigieg) are applying the word “marriage” to them without challenge, with or without quotation marks. To all of this, I say “I told you so.” Elections have consequences, but more importantly, so does the logic of legal arguments. When you, as voters or through your representatives, stipulate in binding anti-discrimination laws that it is morally and ethically wrong to reasonably discriminate against the behavioral disorders (aka “sexual orientations”) of a militant, implacable army of political activists (instead of preserving sexual normalcy as essential to a healthy society), you are GUARANTEED that their disorders will eventually be mainstreamed. And, you are guaranteed that these malicious bullies will use their new legal powers force you out of the mainstream, exploiting your unthinking agreement that “discrimination” is morally, ethically and legally wrong. You essentially abandon the moral and legal high ground to your cultural adversaries, all to save yourself from the discomfort of being called a “hater” – by people who will never stop calling you that unless you totally surrender on every subsequent point. Despite intense persecution by the left, I have worked diligently to educate the conservative movement on these matters in several books, including “Redeeming the Rainbow” (my Th.D. doctoral thesis, which I converted into the only textbook ever written on the subject) and countless sermons, speeches and articles. About 20 years ago I boiled it down to a simple lesson called “The Five Stages of Homofascism.” These stages are Tolerance, Acceptance, Celebration, Forced Participation, and Punishment of Dissenters. Tracking and backing this cultural transformation had been the U.S. Supreme Court during the entire tenure of Justice Anthony Kennedy’s reign as the all-powerful “swing vote.” Kennedy, the worst enemy of biblical marriage in American history, not only wrote the majority opinion in all four of the landmark cases that established LGBT cultural supremacy over Christianity, he also paved the way for the normalization of pedophilia in his 2002 majority opinion that “simulated child pornography is protected free speech,” a fact I cited in my recent prediction that Mark Zuckerberg’s emerging “Metaverse” will allow pedophiles to indulge their perversions with virtual children in that artificial world, feeding their inner demons with real-world consequences. The LGBT agenda has always been the point of the spear of Cultural Marxism, and thus it is no surprise that the triumph of the putative Biden presidency is most gloatingly in-your-face in the heartbreaking, sexually dysfunctional parade of America’s children dancing willingly into the flames of Sodom as the demonic media and politicians applaud. But, suddenly there is a small glimmer of hope thanks to a bold conservative legislator in Texas named James White. White, who happens to be black, contends that Texas state law on marriage trumps Obergefell v. Hodges, the so-called “gay marriage” ruling, which was the pinnacle of Justice Kennedy’s LGBT championing-career in 2015. I have always contended that the Obergefell ruling is illegitimate and void because both Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan performed “gay weddings” during the pendency of the case. That was the most egregious violation of judicial ethics in the history of the court, making a mockery of the bedrock principle of judicial impartiality every jurist owes to every party before the court regardless of their personal views or past rulings on similar cases. The White strategy appears to be an expansion of the states rights movement that has grown powerfully over the past few years as federal tyranny on leftist social policy has angered conservative states. This battle has been most obvious on gun rights and more recently “vaccine” mandates. But the battle for true marriage was encouragingly bolstered in October 2020 by the comments of Justices Thomas and Alito regarding a case that was actually unanimously denied review by SCOTUS on a technicality. As NPR wrote in a blind panic: “Nevertheless, [Thomas and Alito] said, the case ‘provides a stark reminder’ of the consequences of the same-sex marriage decision. By choosing to endorse ‘a novel constitutional right over the religious liberty interests explicitly protected in the First Amendment, and by doing so undemocratically, the court has created a problem that only it can fix,’ they said. ‘Until then, Obergefell will continue to have ruinous consequences for religious liberty.'” Right now, we’re awaiting an opinion by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and are guardedly optimistic based on his record. But the far left is not waiting at all, their attacks being led by the Lincoln Project – the LGBT propaganda arm of the establishment wing of the Republican Party – which I exposed as such last July. A pro-family victory in Texas would undoubtedly start a stampede of conservative states to follow suit (remember that 35 states and counting banned “gay marriage” before Kennedy nullified the peoples’ will by judicial fiat in Obergefell). So amidst all the doom and gloom, here’s at least one reason for hope and cheer (and optimistic prayer) as we head into the Christmas season.

Arthur, Legislation in Maryland, which would have permitted physicians to prescribe a lethal dose of drugs to kill terminally-ill patients, was defeated in the Maryland Senate, in a tied vote that fell one short of the majority needed to pass. In spite of the narrow tally (23-23), this vote represents a great victory for sick, poor, and vulnerable people in Maryland, as well as for the pro-life community, both in Maryland and nationally. And, we thank all our readers who both participated in the petition and prayed for this outcome! YOUR signatures and prayers played an essential role in defeating this bill! Before the vote, I was in contact with three Maryland State Senators, including the Senate President -- so, everyone knew about your petition! And, at that time, Senate President Miller was even predicting a narrow passage for the bill (though, in the end, he, himself, did not vote for the measure). But, thank God, it was not meant to be! Sick and vulnerable Marylanders are still safe from being pressurized into taking their lives! Thankfully, there was a lot of local, grassroots opposition to this bill, but national organizations have long targeted Maryland on this issue - trying to get the state to become the seventh in the country to legalize Physician-Assisted Suicide. However, the ramifications of the "choice" propounded by those proposing the legislation were ultimately understood as dangerous and destructive. “Allowing doctors to prescribe lethal doses of addictive drugs with no way to make sure those drugs don't end up in the wrong hands or on our streets is bad policy,” the Maryland Catholic Conference argued. “And there is nothing in this bill to ensure that insurance companies don't deny coverage of life-saving treatments and instead fully pay for these lethal drugs because it's more cost efficient to end life than it is to save it.” As a Marylander, myself, I must tell you that it was a great feeling of relief to see the lives of the vulnerable, the disabled and the poor remain protected by law. However, we need to remain vigilant for next year and the year after. If such legislation were ever passed, there is no reason to assume that Maryland would not become like Holland, where one-in-four of all deaths are now induced by so-called ‘medical professionals.’ A 'euthanasia culture' obviously causes more people to want to die, as well as probably a lot of lazy, indifferent, and downright bloody-minded medical treatment. This is not something we want in Maryland (or, any other state, for that matter). So, we will continue to oppose this kind of legislation, both, here, nationally and internationally. MassResistance Chile Fights the Transgender Agenda

This is a huge development in Latin America.

Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and now Chile are taking up the pro-family fight against the homosexual-transgender agenda.

Back in June, activists in Chile contacted MassResistance for help. As their leader Cecile explained, the Chilean Parliament – the National Congress – was about to vote on a frightening bill. The bill would allow sex-change procedures for 14-year-olds without the consent of parents.

The radical LGBT movement is moving very aggressively in South America. They have infiltrated the highest levels of government and are pushing an agenda that is truly shocking. It is helped greatly by the cooperative mainstream media, a population relatively uninformed in “culture war” issues, and social media that blocks conservative communication.

The final vote on the bill will likely take place next week. But our newest international chapter, Chile MassResistance, is working to be organized across the country and is on the ground determinedly fighting this.

A truly frightening bill

The bill establishes that transgenderism is not a disease, so no one would need to resort to medical exams or psychotherapy for a so-called sex change. People 18 and over could get a sex change by just showing an ID. Minors under 14 could legally get a sex change with only one parent agreeing. And at ages 14-18 if neither of the parents authorize it, the child can go to a judge. The judge will decide after speaking with a parent, and without requiring any medical examination or certificates.

Most people don’t realize what is happening. Chileans who find out about it are in disbelief.

Everything has moved very fast

Cecilia explained that the LGBT agenda has taken people by shock:

All this has progressed very quickly in three years and we almost did not realize how it was happening.

Sexual and gender education has been introduced without parental authorization as a result of an agreement between the LGBTI lobby, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, and the previous Left government that was ratified by this supposedly center-right government.

We have the homosexual adoption law being discussed. Homosexual marriage will be legislated soon. It has already been announced that the law of free abortion will be introduced for discussion. The euthanasia law has been presented for discussion.

Moreover, the churches are not leading the fight. It’s up to pro-family activists to carry the burden, Cecile told us:

The evangelical church has timidly reacted, but there are no strong leaders leading the battles, and there is no activism. They have only tried to follow the progress of the laws and testify at the commissions in the Parliament.

The Catholic Church is mired in deep pedophilia problems and has no chance to raise its voice, so we are leading in some way what little we can do.

Powerful pro-LGBT forces in Chile pushing the agenda

And as in much of the world, the LGBT movement has powerful forces helping them in Chile. As Cecilia explained:

The LGBTI lobby has resources, TV, radio and writings where they have desensitized citizens with strategies of victimization without it being able to discern the danger for their own children.

We do not have the media, only social networks (Facebook, Twitter). And many times they intervene preventing the dissemination and the work we are trying to do.

We are creating programs to disseminate all this news that is happening in our country because there are many people who still do not know or do not understand what gender ideology is. Unfortunately, the only way we have of informing Chileans, is by alternative means since communications media such as radio and television are totally bought by the LGBTI agenda.

We need all the help possible from MassResistance so that the citizens can understand and believe that this is an international agenda and that it is attacking the family. We are eager to become a MassResistance chapter!

Chile MassResistance gets to work!

Cecilia’s activists and other groups had already begun organizing pro-family people across the country. They had a petition that already had 19,000 signers. They had put together informative material about the issue. There were Facebook pages and some YouTube videos (which from time to time got blocked or taken down).

We worked with them on strategies and tactics. We built them an Internet-based system so that people across the country could communicate with their National Deputies and Senators (the members of the two houses of the National Congress), which really made a difference, they told us. In particular, we stressed the importance of direct, personal pressure on politicians.

A success last Wednesday!

On Wednesday, August 22, a vote on the bill was scheduled to take place in the Senate. Our people organized about 50 activists to show up in the chambers of the Senate. They also distributed information to the members. “We had never done those things before,” Cecilia told us.

It was successful! The proponents realized they didn’t have the support to win it, so they managed to postpone the vote.

The battle continues

The vote in the Senate is now re-scheduled for Sept. 4. And if it is successful then, it will go to the Deputies the following day, Sept. 5.

In the meantime, our Chile MassResistance chapter is stepping up the fight. Pro-family people across the country will be personally visiting the offices of politicians this week. During these last few days the evangelical church has woken up and are calling to all members throughout the country to show up the 4th and 5th of September.

Busses brought activists to the Capitol!

The pressure will be on the National Congress like they’ve never seen before on a “culture war” issue. The Chile MassResistance chapter is an outstanding group and we’re excited to be working with them!
