Of Course! Americans Want Massive Reductions in Legal Immigration

Here is a statement for Californians for Population Control.

They have published results from a new poll about Americans' attitudes toward immigration and immigration reform.

At this time, I am not fully endorsing Securing America's Future Act, only because any steps toward granting legal status to any group of illegals will open the door to more illegal immigration.

All the other listed reforms and policy changes are excellent.

For now, here is the latest statement and eblast from CAPS:
Dear Jeff,

THIS JUST IN!!!:
Harvard-Harris poll reveals that 81 percent of voters want tocut legal immigration, and 63 percent want to reduce immigration by at least half to less than 500,000 per year.  By a margin of almost 2 to 1, voters support a DACA deal that also eliminates the visa lottery, and funds "barrier security" on the border. This position receives majority supports from every group-Democrats and Republicans; Liberals and Conservatives; Blacks, Whites, and Hispanics.

Tell Congress to PASS HR 4760, the Securing America's Future Act of 2018!

HR 4760 by Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) would:

  • eliminate the visa lottery
  • cut chain migration
  • add mandatory E-Verify
  • increase border security
  • end sanctuary cities
  • provide the 700,000 DACA recipients with a three-year renewable legal status
  • no automatic paths to citizenship

Tell your Representative and Senators about the Harvard poll showing Americans want reduced immigration. Tell them that any DACA deal must include mandatory E-verify, border security, ending chain migration, and halting the visa lottery. Tell them to support HR 4760:

TAKE ACTION NOW

Thank you for joining CAPS during this critical time for American workers, and the future of California and the US!!
