Deace Endorses DeSantis
What I find really helpful is that Deace calls out Trump for going after Christie, yet also pointing out that it was Trump who revived Christie's political career by reaching out to him for advice on whom to appoint to head the FBI. You can't bash the guy on one hand, then hide the fact that you had reached out to him for help staffing the executive departments in Washington DC. That is all wrong.Thank you, @SteveDeaceShow. @RonDeSantis is honored to have your endorsement!

Really.
Who is in charge of his website? Does this guy have any shame?
Does anyone working in Sacramento have any competence at all?

Gary Bauer: Fight for Normalcy
The Left’s War On Normalcy
A Fox News analyst noted last night that several current and potential candidates for the 2024 GOP nomination are running on the idea that they will “restore normalcy to our public discourse,” something many Americans desperately want.
I want that, too. But I know that there will be no normalcy unless we surrender. That’s when the yelling will stop – when we stop resisting the left’s insanity.
The left is not going to abandon its demands that we subsidize abortion up to the moment of birth. And I’m not going to give in to that.
The left is not going to abandon its demands that radical Marxists indoctrinate our children with our tax dollars in our public schools. And I’m not going to give in to that.
The left is not going to abandon its demands that it gets to control what we can say and think. And I’m not going to give in to that!
Are you?
But until you kneel, normalcy will not happen.
Normalcy returned to war-torn Europe only after the Nazis were defeated. Normalcy will only return to America when the anti-life, anti-family, anti-religious liberty, anti-freedom of speech neo-Marxists are defeated.
Anyone who wants to get back to normal must be willing to fight for it. If they’re not up to the fight, then they’re halfway to surrendering, whether they realize it or not.

DeSantis Stands up to the LGBT Agenda
I love Gov. DeSantis!
He knows how to fight. He knows how to win.
And most importantly, he is not afraid to stand up to LGBT agednda on the Right as well as on the Left!
Check out his latest ad, right at end of "Pride" month:
I am so glad that DeSantis took on the Orange Man and his obsession with making nice with LGBT perversion. To wrap up “Pride Month,” let’s hear from the politician who did more than any other Republican to celebrate it…

I am so glad to have a Presidential contender who will call out LGBT everything.
I am so glad to have a Presidential candidate who wants to fight the culture wars, and knows how to WIN the culture wars, too.
President Trump reshaped the political landscape, but it's a huge mistake to think that this country is going to get better if we do not take a firm stance for natural marriage, life, and family. President Trump has showed all too often a willingness to cave and "get along to go along." That is the last thing that we need now in this country.
For all of President Trump's tough talk about "Make America Great Again," you cannot make America great again if you do not:
- Make Male and Female Great Again
- Make Marriage Great Again
- Make Mom and Dad Great Again.
There is no debate on these issues.
There is no point to "Build the Wall!" if you do not build the family.
There is no point to stopping illegal immigration or mass immigration if a country's native population is plummetting, and there is no effort to ensure a course correction.
There is no point to economic growth and development if public health and public morals collapse in the street.
We need to stand against the LGBT juggernaut. We need to reject sexual perversion and profligacy. What happens in private has public consequences, and right and wrong remain right and wrong, whether people are watching or not.
Governor DeSantis understands the larger need to fight for what is right, and to stand against the LGBT agenda. He is my first choice in the 2024 Presidential primaries.

"Norwalk Patriot" Reporter Defames Mothers and Fathers in Norwalk-La Mirada Unified as a "Hate Group"

Vincent Medina of the Norwalk Patriot wrote a defamatory article labeling mothers and fathers in Norwalk-La Mirada Unifed School District “a hate group.”
The @nlmusd board of education listened as California Mass Resistance expressed unfounded claims about the @JohnGlennASB Wellbeing Center.

These parents reached out to MassResistance to help them fight to remove the student well-being center at John Glenn High School, and to keep it out of Waite Middle School. The student well-being center has staff from Los Angeles County Office of Education, an institution with a long-established relationship with Planned Parenthood.
Instead of representing the views of the parents or considering their side of the matter, Medina just defamed them as “a hate group.”
These are the mothers and fathers whom Vincent Medina labeled “a hate group” for wanting to protect children from Planned Parenthood’s abortion and sex mutilation agenda via the student “well-being” centers:

One has to wonder:
Does Vincent have a problem with them because they speak English and Spanish?
Why does he have a problem with mothers and fathers who want to protect their children from indoctrination and sex mutilation?
Here’s the disturbing content that Medina wrote in defense of these “well-being centers”:
The Wellbeing Center provides health education, information about substance abuse, mental health and stress reduction groups. Masters Level Health Educators from the LACDPH are present to support students, teach sexual health and provide sexually active young people with counseling, according to the FAQ.
A registered nurse is also available for on-site testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, condoms, over-the-counter emergency contraception, pregnancy tests and sexual health information for students.
Anyone who thinks that a stranger should be providing kids with condoms and contraception is a predator and a groomer, as well. There is absolutely no excuse, no reason for staff trained by Planned Parenthood to be pushing anything on children, and to do so without the parents’ knowledge or permission.
Why does the Norwalk Patriot think it’s acceptable to shame and defame parents in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District? Why does Vincent Medina think it’s OK to push sexual deviance and perversion on children? Very creepy, and very disturbing.

Movie Review: No Country for Old Men

The Coen Brothers have established a pretty strong repertoire of films. They look at strange, quirky outcomes, or the savage behavior of otherwise normal people. They depict some of the gritty realities of the human condition. Their movies convey a captivating suspense which engages audiences from beginning to end.
Most people celebrate Fargo as their best movie, but I disagree.
No County for Old Men is their best film. While Fargo becomes more underwhelming as the movie progressed to its climax, No Country for Old Men captivates you. The Big Lebowski is a big disappointment–and yes, that is my opinion, dude, a hollow comedy filled with self-aware slackers or caricatured wealth with little bearing on reality.
But No Country for Old Men is fuflfilling, a movie that just gives you chills. It was a stirring, warm, powerful drama, one with gradual and compelling suspense throughout. Even though I have seen this movie a few times, some of the most terrorizing moments in the movie still scare me, still shock when I watch them.
The stunning evil of the main character, Anton Chigurh, played by Havier Bardem, is unmistakable for its grandeur. He’s evil, yet there is a principled mesmerizing aspect to his evil that causes you to admire its portrayal. The methodical efforts of greedy Llewellyn Moss (played by Josh Brolin), who takes the cash from a drug deal turned Mexican stand-off, the old sheriff tracking the case (Ed Bell, played by Tommy Lee Jones), and Chigurh are fascinating and entertaining throughout the film. Who would have thought that a man washing his hands after choking someone could get your attention, or the steps that another man takes to move a briefcase full of cash from one motel room to the next via an airduct would be so … entertaining?
I saw this film twice in the movie theaters when it came out in 2007. I rarely ever did that, but that’s how good this film was.
One of the most moving scenes in this movie was the final scene, with now-retired sheriff Ed Bell sharing with his patient, strong, honest wife two dreams that he had the night before. The first one he could not recall, but the second one he remembered pretty vividly.
Here is that second dream:
[I]t was like we was both back in older times and I was on horseback goin’ through the mountains of a night…goin’ through this pass in the mountains.
It was cold and snowin’, hard ridin’. Hard country. He rode past me and kept on goin’. Never said nothin’ goin’ by. He just rode on past and he had his blanket wrapped around him and his head down…
And when he rode past I seen he was carryin’ fire in a horn the way used to do and I could see the horn from the light inside of it. About the color of the moon. And in the dream I knew that he was goin’ on ahead and that he was fixin’ to a fire somewhere out there in all that dark and all that cold, and I knew that whenever I got there he would be there.
And then I woke up.
This is a powerful dream, one of strong, subtle, even somber comfort, hope in the face of a dark, fearful future. Ed Bell reminisced that all would be well for him, even if the world is filled with evil people determined to do evil things to one another.
This final scene still stirs me. It’s powerful, moving, a strong, unwavering ray of bright hope against a bleak, common canvas of drugs, greed, and murder.
Unlike Fargo, which was subpar for its inconsequential contents, No Country for Old Men touches on universal themes. There are motifs and symbols, repeated interactions which reveal the good and bad in each character. There are timeless elements, eternal subjects brought to the forefront in this otherwise parochial police thriller.
No Country for Old Men is a good movie, and not just for its final scene, but it’s that final scene with Tommy Lee Jones which provides lasting hope for those who witness a world so corrupted, so fallen, and with no seeming chance of turning back.

Revelations from The School of Life
Selection from The School of Life
What happens to a child who is not loved properly? The answer one might expect is that they start to hate the person who doesn’t give them the love they need.
Lots of people do hate their parents, do not forgive them. That is a double-tragedy.
Far from it. The reality is that the child becomes filled with shame. What is shame? A sense that one is profoundly unworthy, dirty, soiled, sinful, ugly, embarrassing - and also, in danger; a fit subject of attack and ridicule by strangers. The child is unable to redirect the blame outward: it does not ask: ‘What is wrong with my parents for not loving me adequately?’ It simply wonders in a forlorn way: ‘What have I done wrong in order to have ended up on the receiving end of my parent’s disapproval?’
This is a profound revelation, if there ever was one! Yes, children do not turn around and start blaming their parents for being terrible parents. They will instinctively, automatically start blaming themselves. It's really striking.
A primitive fear of abandonment kicks in. The child prefers to attack itself for being bad than to confront a yet more awful possibility: that it is entirely dependent for its well-being on inadequate and unkind parental figures.
This shock occured to me when I was a child. It's tough to write about, but I can share generally that I understand the sentiment.
The child searches assiduously for explanations for the lack of love it has to endure - and comes to all the wrong answers. It might conclude: ‘I have not been impressive enough.’ And therefore it may undertake enormous efforts to prove to itself and harsh outsiders that it does - nevertheless - deserve to exist. At school, it might try seven times as hard as any other child to show that it is clever and ‘good’. Later on, the shamed child might turn into the over-achieving adult who works relentlessly for money and status in order to escape appalling feelings of being invisible.
As a rule, children blame themselves for not being good children. In their minds, there is no way that "mom and dad are wrong." That is too painful, too traumatic for children, since they are so dependent on them in the first plcae.
This conflict describes what I went through when I was younger. The trauma was considerable, and quite painful. I tried my best to be a "good boy," and I hoped that that would be enough. Of course, in the real world, being a "good boy" is really not all that good in the first place. There are so many bad people doing bad things, and you have to stand against this evil in every way possible. Being "nice" never works, and we have had decades of nice around the world allow utmost evil to take precedence.
Or else, the child may go down an anti-social route and graffiti the nearby underpass, as a desperate way of giving outward form to a feeling of badness it is tortured by inside.
I did not go into this route. I did not rebel against society in such a bold fashion, that's for sure. Sometimes, I think it might have been better for me if I had rebelled more against bad teachers in high school. Some of other kids did that, AND that got better grades than I did and went to better (?) colleges than I, too.
At the very least, they were having more fun, because they were not living under law.
There is so sadly no way out from the burden of shame available either by trying to be extremely good - or extremely bad. The only solution is to work against the grain of forgetting in order to perceive, for the first time, an awful possibility that one could never perceive as a child: that one has done nothing wrong at all, that wrong was done to one.
This revelation was not at all painful for me when I realized that I have a Loving Heavenly Father who is watching out for me all the time. When I realized that I was cared for all the time, no matter what; when I learned to rightly divide the word of Truth and receive the grace of God in greater measure, it was easier for me to stand away from past experiences and look at them objectively.
And I could see, at last, that it was my parents who were wrong.
I can forgive them all their failures, and I can confront the fact that for all their holy talk and nice-nice going to church once a week, and then going to men's prayer groups or men's breakfasts on Saturdays, my dad did not know the Gospel, and my mother was in bondage to a cult.
I am so glad that I am free of their lies, and I will never have to live in bondage to them again. Thank you, Jesus!
