Dear MassResistance Activists and Allies
Montana is a battleground state for the fight against LGBT
insanity across the United States.
Two very contentious bills are up for a vote in the Montana
State House of Representatives THIS WEEK in Montana.
The two bills that we are targeting for passage are:
HB
112: Keep biological boys out of girls’ sports
HB
113: Stop gender mutilation of children, i.e. ban on transgender surgeries on
minors.
BAD NEWS: HB 113 FAILED its Third Reading, but
by a close 49-51 margin (there are 100 Montana State Reps). The bill had barely
passed its second reading on a 53-47 vote. One state rep switched his vote to
YES in the Third Reading, but then five more state reps voted NO on the Third
Reading.
This is bad, but all is not lost. We
We need you to contact the 19 legislators listed below who
have voted NO on HB 113.
WE ALSO need you to call them to ensure that they vote YES
on HB 112!
Here’s a script that you can use for each state rep:
“Dear State Rep. _____________, you need to VOTE YES
on HB 112 and HB 113.”
Then you can offer one or more of the reasons below:
1.
Transgenderism is a mental illness. No one
should normalize this disorder, let alone impose this on children. This is
child abuse, nothing more.
2.
Children very often pretend to be the opposite sex,
and even play dress-up. That does not indicate that a child should become the
opposite sex whatsoever.
3.
For children who genuinely struggle with their
birth sex, they grow out of it very quickly. In 90% of cases, there is no need
for follow-up counseling or therapy.
4.
Transgender surgeries are nothing more than the
complete mutilation of a healthy body. The growing rate of young people, who
was they grow older, regret transitioning has skyrocketed in the last three
years.
5.
Children are not mentally or emotionally capable
of making such life-altering decisions, and adults should not be imposing them.
6.
Most of the calls coming into Montana are from
outsiders in college towns across the state. Big moneyed interested across the
country are funding pro-LGBT activist groups to bombard the state legislature.
Don’t let big money from outside of Montana sway your vote!
7.
Biological males cannot become females, and it
is wrong to allow them to compete against real women, who in turn can get hurt
in close contact sports, or who can miss out on scholarships because their male
counterparts can compete to win.
