I Don't Have to Think or Feel Differently or Keep Feeling a Certain Way for Him to Be Present to Me

This is really astonishing, but very powerful and wonderful.

I know that the LORD is with me! I understand fully that He is present to me, and that there is nothing that can separate Him from me.

For the longest time, I believed these hollow lies, that I had to feel or think a certain way so that I know that God would be with me, would be present to me. That sense of loneliness, that orphan spirit was strong with me, and I would just panic like crazy if I started struggling with negative, bitter, sad, or perverse thoughts.

It was absolute madness, and it was really painful.

Thank you Jesus, that now I understand that YOU ARE GOING NOWHERE.

You never disappeared from me. You have always been present to me, with me, through me, and for me!

"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

This is a done deal! I do not have to do something, say something, keeping thinking or feeling something in order for Him to be with me, for me, through me.

Jesus, it's not about me. It's never been about me. You have always been ready, present, available, accountable, asking for me to reach out to You to ask You to help me.

All this time, You wanted me to reach out to you!

This incredible revelation reminds me of Gillian Shen and her testimony for TrueLove. Is:

Yes, He found me! He found us! We were lost, not Him! This is amazing!

All this time, I kept thinking that I had to have a certain posture. The truth is that You have always been here, You do not go away. I do not have to think or feel differently. You are not going anywhere, and I cannot get away from You! I LOVE YOU, LORD!

"8If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

 9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me." (Psalm 139:8-10)

I kept thinking that I had to do something. I know that I keep writing this revelation as if it means something new, but there it is. It IS something new, for me! This is a massive change for the better for me! I do not have to "come back to" Him when I sin, fall, or fail. I am not trying to keep my feelings or thoughts in check. I cannot be separated from Him!

Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Beloved Savior, for being so patient with me! Indeed:

"Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?" (Romans 2:4)

What is really cool for me, that I am really trying to appreciate, to put into words, I suppose, is that I do not have to use my mind to "hunt" for God, to feel His presence anymore. I know that He is here. I know that He is going nowhere. I know that wherever I go, He is already there. Amen!

It Hurts! (The Truth About Homosexual Behavior)

" ... [L]ike shoving a straw up your nose to drink." -- Dr. Thio Li-Ann, Singapore MP, describing anal sex
It's shocking to me the lengths that homosexuals will go to expose the broken, destructive aspects of their behaviors.

Consider this tweet:

This man tells the whole world that his boyfriend purchased sanitary pads, or sanitary napkins, to place in his underwear because he's "leaking".

Why is he leaking?

Sodomy involves one man's penis penetrating another man's anus. These behaviors damaging the disgestive system, including the excretory parts, i.e. the anus.

Dr. Thio Li-Ann, who served as a member of the Singapore parliament in 2007, shared these points about the negative health consequences of homosexual acts:

Sir, public health and safety is a legitimate purpose served by the 377A ban on homosexual anal and oral sex. Both these practices are efficient methods of transmitting sexual diseases and AIDs / HIV which are public health problems. These are not victimless crimes as the whole community has to foot the costs of these diseases.
Anal-penetrative sex is inherently damaging to the body and a misuse of organs, like shoving a straw up your nose to drink. The anus is designed to expel waste; when something is forcibly inserted into it, the muscles contract and cause tearing; fecal waste, viruses carried by sperm and blood thus congregate, with adverse health implications like ‘gay bowel syndrome’, anal cancer. ‘Acts of gross indecency’ under 377A also covers unhygienic practices like “rimming” where the mouth comes into contact with the anus. Consent to harmful acts is no defence – otherwise, our strong anti-drug laws must fall as it cannot co-exist with letting in recreational drugs as a matter of personal lifestyle choice.

Indeed, homosexual behaviors are inherent;y disordered and destructive. When someone says that LGBT behaviors are another form of "love of love", they have to explain to the public how anal penetration, oral sex, and other disgraceful behaviors somehow demonstrate love, affection, or respect for the other partner.

Such behaviors are harmful. Love is not supposed to hurt! Sex is not supposed to be a painful, but a pleasurable experience, allowing a man and a woman (not two men or two women) to express intimacy.

Bobby Lopez (right) talks about the physical damage
caused by homosexual acts

Beyond the tweet shared above, or the clinic statements offered by Dr. Thio Li-Ann, let's consider what Robert Oscar Lopez, a former homosexual himself and currently a writer and research, shared about his same-sex experiences on the Eric Metaxas Show:

"I didn't know if I really liked this [homosexual acts with older boys] or not. There was a part of me that said 'There was some pleasure involved'. And there was a part of me that just felt disgusted by the whole thing.
"So I got into a habit of going out and seeking out the activity myself, and I never liked it."

There you have it. Homosexual acts are aberrant, deviant, but now even homosexuals themselves admit: It doesn't feel good.

And Bobby Lopez shares more:

"But I kept on seeking it out. It became a compulsive behavior. And sometimes, when I accepted money for it, that kind of made it OK in my mind. because it made it seem like it wasn't what I was doing. It became very self-destructive."

Then Lopez added:
"The LGBT ideology is based on a couple tenets, which through a combination of investigative reporting, scholarly research, and personal experience, I believe are false.
"One of them is that you're born gay.
"Another is that you know from a very young age.
"[The Third]: There's nothing wrong with the sex act. That there's nothing more objectively difficult about engaging in homosexual activity"

WOW! Bobby Lopez tells it as it is!

And he provides more information:

"The sexual behavior you [the homosexual] is engaging in is physically damaging to you."

And

"Acts of homosexual intercourse are very dangerous."

Then he went into greater details:

"The kind of things that men do together when they are alone, they are things that are more damaging to your body than normal sex between a man and a woman. They have long lasting effects. Some of the effects you don't know at the beginning because with repeated misuse of your body, the damage slowly becomes evident."
An example?

"You have difficulty going to the bathroom."

Final Reflection

Former and active homosexuals alike cannot hide this truth: homosexual acts are destructive and aberrant. They harm the individuals who engage in the behaviors, and as Dr. Li-Ann shared in her parliamentary speech, they harm the public as a whole.

Homosexual conduct hurts! It should not be promoted, and anyone with any sense who wants to put a stop to this perverse behavior must demonstrate the boldness, the courate to speak the truth about the sexual acts themselves. They are harmful, not loving. They are demeaning, not enhancing. This is not about "love is love", but rather damaged individuals seeking love in someone of the same sex, only to find more hurt and pain.

More People Are Noticing that I Am Losing Weight

"I noticed that you are losing weight. What's your secret?"

Someone asked me this question today. I was really glad that this man came up to me and warmly praised my new physique.

For those who cannot see me now, I was tipping the scales at 255 lbs. at the beginning of 2017.

I had staved off eating fast food, and then my weight went down to about 225.

My weight was still fluctuating here and there.

Then during my physical earlier this year, my weight was 238 per the scale, with my clothes on. Weighing myself right after taking a share, I was at 232.

I really wanted to reduce my weight, since I wanted to avoid high blood pressure issues and a possible stroke.

However, I realized that I wanted whatever further weight loss to remain a constant. I was not interested in yoyo dieting.

I answered the man this morning: "JESUS!"

Indeed, His work granted me sonship before God the Father -- our father.

"1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."

This is great love, and yet I was struggling to receive this love all too often!

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (1 John 2:15)

I had been meditating on the work of the Cross, and how that expanded God's love for me. I realized that there were perversions I had been struggling with because ... the love of the Father was not in me.

I realized that the same problems -- lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, pride of life -- are all a result of loving the world, not knowing, not receiving, not welcoming the Love of the Father!

Why was I eating so much? Why was I indulging in certain foods? That is one example of the "lusts of the flesh" (1 John 2:16)

I was not enjoying the rich, expansive, ever-growing love of the Father!

The more that I realized how alive, how real, how all-encompasing His love is for me, I realized that this richness was filling me up way better than food ever could!

That's what has made it easier for me to forgo eating as much as I used to.

Now, I honor hunger, I honor satiety. My life does not revolve around the next meal, nor do I eat food to feel better.

Jesus!

MassResistance Woman Rejects Gay Flag in Home Town, Speaks Truth About LGBT Agenda

Elderly woman, a MassResistance activist, ignites town and region by questioning “gay” flag outside church – and standing her ground. Covered by NBC-TV in Boston.

Town of Carlisle, MA, goes into hysteria over her letter to the editor

An inspiration for the rest of us!

May 15, 2017
Most people think they can’t make a difference, or are too timid to try. Here is an example of what just one person can do to fight back!

Sally Naumann, a long time resident of Carlisle, wasn't intimidated by the TV cameras.
An elderly woman in ultra-liberal Carlisle, Mass. had the nerve to publicly criticize the “gay” flag outside of a church in the center of town. She caused such an inflamed reaction that it was reported in Boston’s NBC-TV evening news.  (See below.) But she’s not backing down -- which inflames the leftist reactionaries even more!
The Unitarian church in the center of Carlisle, Mass.
Sally Naumann, an 85-year-old resident of Carlisle and a longtime MassResistance activist, had had enough. She was very upset that the Unitarian Church in the center of town is flying a “gay” rainbow flag outside. She is distressed because people she knows have died of “gay”-related diseases. She strongly believes the homosexual lifestyle should not be promoted.
Interestingly, for nearly 25 years Sally and her husband had been members of that Unitarian Church in Carlisle, and she was also co-chairman of the Parish Committee. But a few years ago, while speaking at a Sunday service, she raised concerns about the church’s promotion of the homosexual lifestyle. For simply saying that, the church leaders declared her to be “unwelcoming”. After a “hearing”, Sally was banned from the church and told that if she came back they would call the police!
Sally is a delightful lady, as well as fearless. In 2005, she went undercover at the homosexual GLSEN conference at Brookline High School. She picked up a copy of the extremely pornographic and disgusting “Little Black Book” that was being given to kids. It caused such outrage that even Gov. Mitt Romney went on television to distance his administration from it.
Next to the Church's big flag is a bowl where they gave out hundreds of smaller flags after Sally's letter appeared. (But it was already empty when we got there.)

A simple letter to the editor started a war in town!

On April 28, 2017, Sally wrote a letter to the editor to the local Carlisle Mosquito newspaper. They published it at the end of all the others, on page 22, near the back of the paper. Here’s what it said:
 To the Editor:
One of the saddest vistas I know is that of the beautiful rainbow flying as a flag to welcome and encourage the extremely dangerous behavior of homosexuality. Each time I go through the center of my town of Carlisle, I see such a flag and my heart cries out—why, Why?
Indeed, why is this flag being used to speak well of homosexuality and encourage the behavior? Where is the caring for people who for one reason or another have gotten into this behavior? And homosexuality is a behavior; no one is born homosexual.
Where is the truth? Where is the help for such people? It seems they are only helped down the garden path to some of the worst diseases known to man. Just look at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website for information as to how devastating homosexual behavior actually is. Then look at pfox.org for personal stories where ex-homosexuals speak out.
Knowing how many have contracted HIV and AIDs and even died as a result of homosexual behavior leaves me wondering why people would promote such behavior--—let alone churches such as the Unitarian Church and the United Church of Christ.
Sally J. Naumann
It’s a very good letter. It’s very clear, straightforward, and succinct.

Unhinged reaction to letter

Sally’s letter got attention, that’s for sure!
In the next issue of the Carlisle Mosquito (May 5) there were nine angry letters attacking her (and none supporting her). Even by the low standards of a “liberal” town (that prides itself on being “upper class”), the response was pretty unhinged.
There were the usual angry epithets: Sally’s letter was called “hate speech”, “disinformation”, “rancid”, and “ignorant” – etc.
Several letter writers said that despite the First Amendment, Sally’s letter should not have been allowed to be printed. (This is a common totalitarian refrain of the Left.) Letter writers said that Sally’s letter might cause suicides or violence because of “the destructive, homophobic views represented in that letter.”
One letter writer said Sally’s letter is bringing “fear” to the community and said that she is now locking the doors of her house. Some letters listed past acts of terrible violence that were likely caused by sentiments like Sally’s.
And of course there’s the blatant hypocrisy: The same letters that said that Sally’s views should be excluded from the newspaper and not be tolerated, were then calling for a climate of “tolerance and inclusion.”
Most of this is, on its face, irrational. That’s because Sally really got to them! The town’s liberals could not deal with Sally’s facts and logic. Instead, their letters were calculated to foment as much anger and hysteria as possible.
The attacks on Sally continued in the May 12 issue, with seven more angry letters.  Sally was called “homophobic”, “hateful”,  “intolerant”, “prejudiced”,  “libelous”, and “malicious”. Her views were compared to Vladimir Putin, Breitbart.com and Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway, and Nazi Germany. Whew! We can’t wait till next week.

Scathing newspaper editorial against Sally

In the May 5 issue of the newspaper, next to the letters, was a scathing editorial aimed at Sally and her letter. In particular, the editorial explored whether Sally’s facts and opinions should be banned from the newspaper in the future.
Sadly, the editorial shows the level of nonsense and shallow thinking that America’s journalist class has lowered itself to. It stated that the newspaper’s staff  “believes it is of supreme importance to be sensitive to the concerns of marginalized populations.” (Not conservatives, clearly.) It admitted that in past years the paper had run letters similar to Sally’s without a problem. But now the community must be protected from these views. That’s because, the editors say:
[T]here are times when a position becomes so repulsive it is no longer suitable for discussion, and perhaps advocacy of homosexuality as a sickness has migrated into that territory.
So the truth of the medical consequences has no real value. And the message is that anyone who agrees with Sally can forget writing any letters.

Town's liberals fighting Sally with more rainbow flags

One of the letters in the paper was from a local moonbat political group saying that people should fight Sally by putting out rainbow flags everywhere in town. They announced they would be putting hundreds of small rainbow flags outside the Unitarian Church for locals to take. Within a few days, there were lots of rainbow flags across town.
Make no mistake. This is a psychological strategy to make people in town feel that everything is overwhelmingly stacked in one direction – and any more “outbursts” like Sally’s are useless, and will be dealt with harshly.
Sally didn’t care, though. She had made her point.

NBC-TV in Boston jumps in -- pays Sally an unannounced visit

Over the next week the hysteria over this continued to spread beyond Carlisle. On May 10, NBC-TV in Boston jumped in to cover this story.
Not surprisingly, this was not a “friendly” interview from Sally’s standpoint. The television crew did not call Sally’s home first; they just showed up at her door unannounced. That has to be a pretty unnerving experience. But Sally took it all in stride, made her points very well, and stood her ground. After that, they interviewed local liberals.
The TV reporter just showed up unannounced at Sally's house with a camera crew and microphone.
That evening, here’s what was broadcast in metropolitan Boston and southern New Hampshire.
WATCH VIDEO: BOSTON NBC-TV REPORT:

NBC-Boston also highlighted this on their Facebook page;

But also some silent support for Sally!

There seems to be an undercurrent of support for Sally. Sally told us that when she went to the Post Office one day this week, she came out to find that someone had put some flowers in her car door handle.
On Saturday, Sally received a handwritten letter in the mail:
Thanks for the courageous letter to the Mosquito.
Having lived for 30 years in Carlisle and had two children go through the school system, I'm confident the push-back from the mentioned parties will be significant. Thankfully, we no longer live there.
We have a feeling there will be more and more, now that Sally has publicly stood up!

MassResistance comes to help out in Carlisle

Because Sally’s been such a great activist over the years in such a weird town, we just couldn’t resist adding more to the “alternative” viewpoint. Since the church parishioners seemed just a tad uninformed about the health issues involved, we put a complimentary copy of our new book, “The Health Hazards of Homosexuality” on their doorstep.

Hopefuly, they'll do some serious reading!
Before we left Carlisle, we noticed some “alternative” stickers had popped up around the town square! Maybe there is hope for diversity of opinion there, after all!
We happened to see these stickers on a phone pole and a trash can near the center of town. Looks like there's more "diversity" than we thought.
Label on sticker is "Nope".

Every little bit makes a difference

If Sally can do this much by herself, imagine what you can do! We hate to say this, but she has more courage than probably 90% of pro-family people. That’s got to change.
The LGBT movement (and the Left in general) knows it cannot win through normal discourse and factual challenges. The dominance of their absurd ideology depends on intimidating everyone into cowering in fear and not speaking up. Every time you do it, it breaks it down a little more. Eventually their dominance will collapse. That’s what Sally has done in Carlisle, and that’s why they’re so angry.
Sally told us that after this initial furor has died down, she plans to write another letter to the editor elaborating further on her points. That should be interesting. We’ll keep you posted!

Why Oprah (And All Of Us) Struggle--Condemnation

Oprah Winfey talks about her weight a great deal.

She is ashamed of weighing more than she is supposed to. Honestly, she doesn't look unhealthy. Isn't that what counts first and foremost. Exercise gurus usually tell clients and patients that they have to be OK with themselves, at peace on the inside to start dealing with the weight problems.

What is weighing on your soul?

Forget about what you are eating. What is eating you?

This dynamic is the most crucial for men and women to understand.

Notice the insane and unjust abuse that Winfrey "tolerated" from Joan Rivers on The Tonight Show in 1986:

Some context is appropriate here.

Winfrey just got her own talk show.

She actually did not look that bad at all.

Joan Rivers had her own short-lived yak fest, which went nowhere fast.

YAWN.

I have often found Rivers to be funny, but her frankness would border into unneeded cruelty sometimes.

Can you believe that Rivers went after Oprah's weight on live TV?!

No wonder some people struggle.

A sense of shame nags at people who find themselves unable to get and stay slender.

Later, Winfrey acknowledged what the food issue was all about:

She eventually realized that the reason she turned to food for comfort was because of lack of love as a child.

“So many of us just want to fill up on a large helping of unconditional love. When I was a girl, there wasn’t always enough of that to go around. As an adult, though, I came to realize that even when people have the time and strength to care for you, the deepest care must ultimately come from your own self-acceptance, self-respect, and hard-earned truth,” Winfrey says.

That need for unconditional love is so important for all of us.

It's about more than solving a problem.

It's about more than understanding something new.

It's about more than reading our Bibles.

It's about knowing how loved we are ... by God our Father!

Even if we have the most loving parents in the world, it's still not enough.

We have an eternal need!

And that need we realize is met ... in Christ Jesus!

First, we learn that all condemnation has been removed:

"For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee." (Isaiah 54:9)

and

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus," (Romans 8:1)

and

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)

When we rest in His love, we have nothing to be ashamed of, and no reason to fear.

We receive His grace and righteousness (Romans 5:17) and thus no weapon formed against us can prosper (Isaiah 54:17)
