Weekend At Bernie Sanders: The 1% Socialist Hypocrite

Socialism is a creed of envy, exploited by the politically connected to make themselves wealthy at the expense of the poor, the very people whom they claim that they want to help.

There is no clearer, better example of this than Bernie Sanders.

This man routinely lived on welfare. He lived very briefly on a kibbutz, although he was later kicked out because he was lazy.

And now he preaches a progressive prosperity gospel, in which the rich who are getting richer should subsidize the poor who are getting poorer. 

Of course, Sanders does not want to talk about how much more wealth he is taking on, now, does he?

For months, people have been wondering why former Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (I-VT) failed to file his required financial dislocate forms with the United State Senate. After a heated Democrat primary against Hillary Clinton about income disparity, Sanders seemed to be hiding something. And it didn’t help that his wife is under FBI investigation for a property deal.

Now, Sanders finally has come clean and filed his report. The reason for the delay?

He probably doesn’t want you to know he made $858,000 in book royalties last year.

I have reported in other posts that Sanders is quite the regressive hypocrite, actually.

He is a warmongering sellout to many on the Left. He voted for military authorization against Afghanistan. He also supported military intervention in Kosovo. Aggravated pacifists staged a sit-in in his Burlington, Vermont Congressional office over that!

In spite of the increasingly left-wing push for gun control, which has taken over the Democratic Party, he is pro-gun. That makes him a right-wing gun nut, doesn't it?!

Let's not forget what a truly political animal he is. After all, the Vermont Democratic Party and the United States Democratic Party in Congress made a deal with Bernie, which would allow him smooth sailing without any real opposition from a Democratic contender, provided that he sided with the Democratic Party on key issues.

So much for independence, right?

And now, Lo and Behold--he has turned into the 1% he loves to vilify!

I wonder when he will start paying his fair share?

A few news outlets joined us at the corner of Fifth and Hill Streets to hear our views on the Syria conflict and Donald Trump.

Then this reporter approached me for my views on key issues and the President.

She did not hide that she was a hardcore Bernie supporter, and that she hated Barack Obama as much as she hated Donald Trump.

Yes indeed.

In this clip, she mocked me because I was defending Trump and not afraid to slam or shame people who maligned the President:

She kept attacking me personally, and I forced her to concede that her remarks about me were offensive.

She actually apologized to me for claiming that I idolized Trump!

She was not prepared for me to whip out my camera phone and start recording her, either.

Conservatives should not refrain from holding media personalities and journalists accountable.

Then she went off on Merrick Garland, and Barack Obama's decision to nominate him.

In the second part of this interview, she spent more time talking than listening.

I called her out on her monologue, then I plead for her to let me speak.

Since trying to work with liberals, let alone talking with them, I have noticed how they like to change the subject and bounce around from issues.

She wanted to go off on corporate influence in Congress--understandable--but she had asked me about the filibuster rule in the US Senate and the 2/3 majority needed to remove a federal official to be removed from office.

When I went after Bernie Sanders, then exposed that he was a socialist who believed in redistribution of wealth, she ended the interview.

She would then complain that there was no talking to me, and that I had to concede on issues.

Since when do individuals have to "concede" on issues in order to have a civil conversation?

At least she let me speak towards the end, but it's getting more fun to undermine reporters and interviews who want to push a narrative rather than listen to their guests.

Weekend at Muratsuchi's

Oil Muratsuchi took Big Oil money in 2014.

He lost.

He took Big Labor money.

He lost.

He took special interest money almost entirely from outside the South Bay.

He lost big time.

Now he claims that he is free of special interest money.

And he is running again?

He will lose. Big time.

He has no integrity, no ideas, and no real chance of winning the AD-66 seat.

The South Bay belongs to We the People.

And we want someone who represents us. not "They the Special Interests."

Does the guy have any original ideas? Any?

He sounds just like "Weekend at Bernie" Sanders.

Who are the billionaires in the South Bay, anyway?

I am not aware of anyone with that kind of wealth who lives in the region, even in Palos Verdes.

I do know that a number of high tech and legal prfoessionals live in the area. I also know that entrepreneurs, real estate agents, and high profile engineers call the South Bay home.

But where are all the billionaires.

If there are any, they finance Democrats.

Then there's that "Big Oil" talk/

All of Al's boasting about Big Oil is beyond silly.

It's offensive. David Hadley supports the decisions of South Bay residents if they choose to ban drilling.

That is there right. Local control is key.

Al Muratsuchi does what party bosses tell him too.

"Oil" Muratsuchi is slick, dirty, and messy.

He does not belong in the state assembly.

He looks and acts like a dead corpse being dragged around by political consultants and party handlers.

A lot like ... Weekend at Bernie Sanders!
