It's Official: Black Lives Matter-Los Angeles Fails, Gives Up on Torrance

Her head is in the right place. LIVES MATTER
should be the watchword from now on.

Big win for The Balanced City!

I have been receiving their emails for the last five years, just to know what this marxist hate group has been up to and all the evil they plot throughout Los Angeles County.

Their organizing efforts are pretty remarkable. Constitutionalists and general American patriot activists would learn so much on how to fight back against these left-wing bigots, if they learned to use their tactics against them.

For years, I would receive these emails, noting how they were urging people to show up to Torrance City Council meetings to scream and yell about the "murder" of Christopher DeAndre Mitchell, aka Cowboy, aka a black man who stole another black man's car, and had a rifle at his feet, and did not cooperate with the police.

The previous week, BLM-LA had sent out their to-do list, like below, and it did not mention the city of Torrance! I thought this omission was a fluke or a mistake, so I waited another week.

And here we are!

Black Lives Matter has been defeated!

They have given up. Not only have they failed to defund the Torrance Police Department (as if that would ever happen), but they failed to get a police oversight commission opened.

In fact, the city of Torrance just increased the initial pay for all lateral-entry police officers in the city of Torrance to $100,000!

I also noticed at the last few city council meetingss, that the obnoxious activists like Sheila Bates were no longer showing up, or they were greatly outnumbered. It was quite pathetic! Only one of two of them would show up, and when Bates would launch into her racist, anti-law enforcement rant, she didn't stay at the podium and wear out the city council, or force the city council into closed session.

Wow! The significance of the passage of time!

Greetings Beloved Community... #SonyaMassey, a 36-year-old Black mama of two, called 911 for help, fearing a prowler outside her Springfield, Illinois home. Instead, police demanded to see her identification, gave instructions (which she followed), and ultimately shot Sister Sonya in the face, killing her. The horrific bodycam footage was released earlier this week. Sean Grayson, the cop who pulled the trigger, worked for six different law enforcement agencies in four years and is thought to have linkages to white-supremacist groups and possible officer gangs. He has been arrested and charged, and we must stay vigilant to demand full accountability. Sister Sonya’s story is all too familiar, all too chilling, but normalized by a system of state-sanctioned violence that continues to dehumanize Black women. This brutal act is not an isolated incident but part of a horrifying pattern of violence against Black women by killer cops. Like #WakieshaWilson, #RedelJones, #MichelleShirley, and #NianiFinlayson, Sonya’s life was stolen by those who are allegedly there “to protect and serve.”   Black Lives Matter-Los Angeles stands in fierce solidarity with Sonya Massey’s family and community. We are outraged and heartbroken, but not defeated. We call for justice in the name of Sonya Massey and all Black women whose lives have been stolen by police violence. Grayson’s indictment on charges including first-degree murder is a step, but it is far from enough. We demand systemic change, accountability, and an end to the rampant brutality against Black bodies.   Sonya Massey’s life mattered. Her spirit, her love, and her faith mattered. We will not rest until justice is served for Sonya and every Black person wronged by this system. In the name of Sonya Massey, we demand an end to this cycle of violence. We rebuke this broken system and vow to fight for a future where Black lives are truly valued and protected.   Let’s turn up for Sonya Massey and all of our people on Wednesday at 4 PM across from the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) - 1313 W. 8th St.! Dramatic Irony: Progressivem Sanctuary Jurisdictions Get Sued for Turning Illegal Aliens Over to ICE

I finally had some time to write a report about these two events.

In two sections of Sanctuary State California, pro-illegal organizations like the ACLU launched lawsuits because these agencies still turned illegal aliens over to ICE after they were arrested.

Didn't the ACLU and other pro-illegal organizations take any time to read SB 54? The counties and local municipalities can still turn illegal aliens over to ICE if they commit violent felonies. Of course, every single illegal alien should be deported, even if they do not commit any other crime besides entering the United States illegally.

First, check out what happened to the Alameda County Sheriff:

Eighteen years ago, Maria Ortega Rangel left her home state of Nayarit, Mexico and came to California in search of a better life. In Oakland, she got married, but in 2006 her husband was tragically murdered. The crime was never solved. Years later, she met another man, married a second time, and they had a baby girl.

She entered the United States illegally. The East Bay Times conveniently forgets that fact.

Until this year, she's never been in trouble with the law, but her current husband got her into a legal mess — but of the kind that California's sanctuary policies were meant to prevent. Now, she's lost her home, is facing deportation, and fears she'll have to take her daughter, who is a U.S. citizen, back to the poverty of rural Mexico.

Oh brother. The sob story is just rolling out on us, and all of us are supposed to just feel sorry for this lady. Hold on, though ...

Her problems began on Jan. 23, when Alameda County Sheriff's detectives entered her home with a search warrant. They found what they were after in Ortega's bedroom: a large quantity of heroin hidden inside a dresser.

There were DRUGS IN THE HOUSE. This is very serious.

Ortega cooperated with the detectives from the start. According to a report written by sheriff's deputy Aaron Bjork, Ortega told them the drugs belonged to her husband, who was not home at the time.

So, we have the reverse of what happened in the Garden of Eden. The wife puts all the blame on the husband. "It's his fault! It's his fault! I had nothing to do with it."

As if! She lived in the house all that time. She was "working" at her business, right? Really? How could she not know that her husband was a big-time drug dealer? Come on?!

The detectives arrested Ortega, and initially, the district attorney brought the full force of the law down on her. Prosecutors accused Ortega of drug trafficking. They recommended she not be allowed to post bail because any money she might access could have been "feloniously obtained." Alameda County Judge Roy Hashimoto signed off on the order. Prosecutors then charged her with four felonies, including possession with intent to sell and willful cruelty to a child because the drugs were kept in the house where her daughter also lived.

Four felonies. Reminder: SB 54 allows county law enforcement officers to turn over felonious convicts to ICE. So, what exactly is the problem?

Without getting into the extra details of the matter, the Alameda County Sheriff had this woman turned over to ICE and deported, and now everyone who is left-of-center wants the Sheriff to pay. He is getting so much grief for upholding the law, and doing so while representing one of the most left-wing county municipalities in the country. Crazy!

Then check out what happened in Huntington Park, CA.

The police picked up Mr. Jose Luis Maldonado Aguilar on June 15, 2019. He was arrested, booked, etc. A form was filled out, which informed ICE, and he was subsequently turned over to ICE. The funny is that, according to the ACLU report, we don't know what crime (crimes) Maldonado was charged with, or if he had even committed any crime at all.

This is a stunning turnaround for the city of Huntington Park. This city trumpeted to the whole world that they had appointed two illegal aliens to city commissions. It was this big-time "first", and they were patting themselves on the back.

Then, lo and behold, four years later, the police department is working with ICE, and sending illegal aliens over to get deported. What a joke!

This is quite an irony, to say the least. California's own laws cannot stop law enforcement from upholding the law!

Barricades, over 1,000 police, even helicopter patrols

We have never seen so many police, barricades, and overall security in downtown Boston, ever, for any event. Police officers were brought in from as far away as Brockton, MA. The parade route was approximately the same as the "Gay Pride" Parade each June: from Copley Square to City Hall Plaza. At City Hall Plaza, where the parade ended, there would be speeches by the Straight Pride organization's selected speakers.

 Streets were blocked off around the staging area at the beginning of the parade. Note the Boston Police wearing yellow-green vests and the State Police inside wearing their blue-grey uniforms.

 We were told by a police officer that this was a State Police helicopter, which hovered directly above the route.

 Some of the security personnel appeared to be National Guard soldiers.

Securing City Hall Plaza

At the end of the parade route, City Hall Plaza, where the Straight Pride speeches were to take place, includes Boston City Hall and a large plaza area on three sides of it. The entire area, including City Hall, was completely barricaded and surrounded by hundreds of police. No one had ever seen anything like this!

 This was the only entrance to get into City Hall Plaza for the event. In order to be allowed inside, you had to be personally recognized by one of the Straight Pride staff members. We met many conservatives who came from as far away as Maine to support the event and hear the speeches, but couldn't get in because the staff member didn't know them!
