Supervisor McKay of Fairfax County Responds: "I Trust the Sheriff"

This morning, I received a disappointing, abortive response letter from Supervisor Jeffrey McKay of Fairfax County, Virginia.

This is unbelievable:

From: SupervisorMcKay

To: ArthurSchaper@hotmail.com
Subject: RE: Fairfax County Board of Supervisors: You Must Reinstate the 287(g) Program in the County Jail System

Arthur – Thanks for reaching out to me with your concerns about the Sheriff’s decision to terminate the Intergovernmental Service Agreement (IGSA) with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

It’s important to note that the Board of Supervisors is not a party of the agreement, and thus has no legal ability to join or terminate the IGSA. That responsibility falls completely to the Sheriff.

Sheriff Kincaid has informed me that termination of this agreement aligns Fairfax County with more than 99 percent of sheriffs in the Commonwealth of Virginia; 122 of the state’s 123 county and city sheriffs do not have an IGSA. These jurisdictions have not reported an elevated safety risk from releasing inmates on the date the court said they should be released.

Moreover, the Sheriff’s Intelligence Unit, which actively investigates inmates who may be part of gangs, will be unaffected by this change. This unit will still share crucial information about suspects and inmates with all appropriate law enforcement agencies. Please know that when inmates are convicted and sentenced for serious crimes – such as rape, robbery and murder – they are not released to the street. The Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC) takes custody of these inmates to serve their sentence in a state prison. If the inmate is wanted by ICE, agents will pick up the inmate from the DOC once the full sentence has been served.

I have full faith and confidence in Sheriff Kincaid and am certain no decision she makes will endanger or harm our community.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey C. McKay
Lee District Supervisor

We need to ensure that federal law enforcement receives every tool possible to thwart illegal aliens in any community, including Virginia. This kind of hands-off approach is outrageous.

Just because other jails have not set up a similar program is not an excuse for them to discontinue their own.

For those unfamiliar with the 287(g) program, here's the description from the ICE Website:

The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 added Section 287(g), performance of immigration officer functions by state officers and employees, to the Immigration and Nationality Act. This authorizes the Director of ICE to enter into agreements with state and local law enforcement agencies, permitting designated officers to perform immigration law enforcement functions, provided that the local law enforcement officers receive appropriate training and function under the supervision of ICE officers.

Why would any jail system want to end this necessary cooperation?

Contact Supervisor McKay's office immediately, and tell him to support ICE, immigration enforcement, and to demand that Fairfax County Sheriff Kincaid renew the 287(g) program.

Corey Stewart: Make Mexico Great Again, End DACA and Deport All Illegals

Corey Stewart has laid out a great plan for Making America Great Again.

He wants to Make Mexico Great Again, by sending all illegals from Mexico, regardless of their age, back to their home country.

Of course, this move will also make many other host countries great again, too, because illegals in this country will have received an incredible education and experiecne with limited government and true constitutional rule. They can fight for these blessings in their new home countries.

We need more US Senate candidates to stand their ground against illegal immigration and put Americans First!

Arthur,
The fight over amnesty is reaching a fever pitch in Washington.
And Democrats are once again threatening a government shutdown over "DACA" -- Barack Obama's cherished program that granted blanket amnesty to over 800,000 criminal illegal immigrants living in our country.
As usual, the far left, the liberal media -- and RINOs like Lindsey Graham -- continue to parrot the lie that the DACA amnesty program is "for the children."
But the truth is, DACA has virtually nothing to do with children.
The average DREAMER's in their mid 20s.
That's what I meant when I say "Make Mexico Great Again."
According to one of the left's often-used pro-amnesty talking points, illegal immigrants are the most hard-working and productive folks in society.
So by enforcing our immigration laws and deporting illegal immigrants, Congress can help Make Mexico Great Again at the same time!
Of course, you and I both know I made that statement to show just the hypocrisy of DACA supporters like my opponent Tim Kaine.
The main reason to END DACA -- IMMEDIATELY -- is because it threatens the safety and security of the American people.
I believe the top priority of Congress should focus more on improving our own country and the lives of the American people instead of importing poverty and crime from other countries.
That's why, if elected to the U.S. Senate, I will stand with President Trump and oppose any and all efforts to pass DACA or any other type of blanket amnesty for illegal immigrants.
I'll fight to build the wall, secure our border, shut down so-called "sanctuary cities" end chain migration once and for all.
But I can't get to Washington without an army of grassroots patriots standing behind me.

Right now my campaign is working around the clock to gather the 10,000 petitions required under Virginia law to place your name on the ballot as a candidate for U.S. Senate this Fall.
And it's not an easy process.
My campaign staff and volunteers aren't allowed to just go out and gather 10,000 signatures from any registered voter in Virginia.
Instead, the 10,000 signatures must come from every part of the state -- with a minimum of 400 per Virginia's 11 Congressional Districts.
With Virginia being such a large state, this effort alone requires a lot of time, hard work, and campaign resources just to gather the required number of signatures by the mid-March deadline.
That’s why I must be able to count on the early help and support of dedicated conservatives who are ready to take our country back.
Your generous contribution will also help open several campaign offices, each equipped with state-of-the-art phone banks for volunteers, and help cover the costs of direct mail, emails, stamps, events, t-shirts, stickers, signs, and everything else associated with running a winning grassroots campaign.

No matter the amount, all I'm asking is that you please do all you can today.
According to most political experts, every dollar raised right now is worth as much as $5 or $10 later on down the road.
Thank you in advance for your support.
It means the world to me.
Sincerely,

Corey Stewart

Corey Stewart Lays Blame Where it Belongs: Tim Kaine (and #SchumerShutdown Democrats)

Thank goodness that there are candidates out there willing to fight hard for the good of this country.

Corey Stewart is challenging former Vice Presidential candidate and still-at-large left-wing nihilist Tim Kaine for US Senate.

Last time a continuing resolution passed, Senator Kaine put the needs of American citizens first. This time, Kaine decided that he would side with the illegal aliens and their amnesty-pandering enablers.

Corey Stewart is calling him out!

Corey Stewart for U.S. Senate
Arthur,

Tim Kaine is holding the American people hostage. Senate Democrats – led by Tim Kaine – voted to shut down the government.

This means Tim Kaine voted against our active duty military men and woman and veterans, against our senior citizens, and against thousands of federal employees in favor of illegal immigrants. He voted to furlough thousands of Virginia federal employees and contractors. Tim Kaine voted to hurt small businesses and our economy in Virginia.

Virginia and America deserve a Senator who will put Americans first, not illegal immigrants. Arthur, that's just one of the major reasons I decided to run for United States Senate.

Tim Kaine is more concerned with providing amnesty to people who have already proven they will break American laws than providing paychecks for the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms here and abroad.

Even House Democrats were willing to put America First and come to the table to keep our government running. Tim Kaine and Senate Democrats? They say no. They are unwilling to put aside their radical, pro-amnesty policies to do their job – keep the government running.

Arthur, if you want a different type of Senator, I hope I can count on your support today with a campaign contribution of $10. $25, $50, $100 or more.

We can't afford to shut down the government in favor of illegal immigrants when American lives are on the line. It's time to stand up for our military, their families, our senior citizens, and our federal government employees. Join me today to send a clear message to Tim Kaine – "do your job and keep our government running!"

For America,

Corey Stewart
Republican for U.S. Senate (VA)

P.S. Tim Kaine is holding our country hostage to protect people who are here illegally. He's forgotten our veterans, our active duty military, their families, and senior citizens. We deserve better. I will never shut down the government and stop critical federal support to our citizens in favor of illegal immigrants. If you agree with me, I hope I can count on support today!

Letter to the Editor: Virginia Resident Sounds of on Election Results

Ed Gillespie has only himself and the VA GOP establishment to blame for his defeat. I knew that he and the entire GOP ticket were going down in flames, so I don't feel guilty for voting Libertarian despite all the crap I got from Gillespie supporters including yourself. At least the GOP swamp creatures in Richmond have gotten a nice kick in the balls since they lost over a dozen seats in the Virginia House of Delegates, and the Democrats may very well take control of that chamber because there will be recounts in several close races. However, the GOP still controls the State Senate, so they better not screw that up too!

I'm glad we had a Libertarian candidate on the ballot, or else the major party candidates would not be talking about reforming our criminal justice system and ending the failed war on drugs. It's a shame that Ed Gillespie and Ralph Northam were united in refusing to debate their Libertarian opponent!

On the bright side, us Virginians may finally get a fair and non-partisan redistricting of our state legislative districts. (no thanks to the VA GOP and their gerrymandering)

Happy Thanksgiving Arthur and Godspeed!

Victory for USA! VictoryLatinoUS Pulls Racist Anti-Gillespie Ad

I wanted to write about this for the last two days.

There is so much winning, so much victory for us Americans, for us Trump supporters.

The Latino Victory Fund PAC released an offensive ad attacking Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie.

The commercial is so offensive, and so provocative, it's best just to see it for yourself:

The sudden irony of this creepy, corrupt commercial cannot be understated.

Just two days ago, another Islamic terrorist rammed a truck into a crowd in New York City. He was a terrorist who attacked foreigners as well as American natives in this huge city.

The Democratic Party leaders supported the diversity VISA which allowed that Uzbeki National into the country. Islam is a cult, a dangerous cult--and the Democratic Party is complicit in allowing this rampant terrorism within our nation's borders.

This is an explicitly racist, unfounded commercial.

I called the Latino Victory Fund in DC directly, and I told them that I will double down on my support for Ed Gillespie and ensure he gets as much support and donations as possible. Yes, indeed.

Apparently, Gillespie's donation numbers tripled after this offensive commercial. Can you say "backfire"?

Yes--and I submit that for that reason only did the Latino Victory Fund pull that commercial.

What a victory! I suspect that Gillespie is going to trounce Northam on Election Day--and Democrats will have another crushing defeat on their hands!

Winning! Major VA Newspapers Endorse Gillespie

This latest eblast from the Gillespie Campaign could not make it clearer.

The Virginia Commonwealth does not want Obama-nomics.

They don't want the rampant, repeated failures of Virginia Democrats like Ralph Northam.

They want to make Virginia Great Again, and they want Gillespie!

Guess what? So do I!

We’re at the stage of the campaign when newspapers start to endorse candidates. And we’ve had a few really good ones recently:

Winchester Star:
"to us this is by no means a close call…We endorse Ed Gillespie.”

Richmond Times-Dispatch:
"As governor, [Gillespie] will deliver on Virginia’s potential. He has earned our confident endorsement.”

National Review:
"Gillespie is running on a serious, forward-looking conservative agenda.”

InsideNOVA:
"we believe Ed Gillespie is the right gubernatorial candidate to get Virginia growing again.”

Bluefield Daily Telegraph:
"Republican Ed Gillespie is the clear choice for a more prosperous Commonwealth.”

But there’s one endorsement that’s more important to me than any of these -- YOURS!

Click here to add your endorsement now.

While it’s great to have earned these endorsements from the media, your support is what’s critical to us winning in just 9 short days.

I would be honored to have your support -- and your vote -- on Tuesday, November 7th.

Sincerely,
Ed Gillespie
