You Should Vote Democrat If ...

 

Bringing Biblical principles of governance to government leaders... and to the people who elect them!

Greetings Arthur,

We are not partisan. I have confronted – face to face – numerous Republicans running for office who have stood for wrong values. I have worked hard to defeat some Republicans. Why? Because they defied God’s ways. I have been open about my criticism of some within the Republican Party. My commitment is to Scripture. My commitment is to Biblical principles of governance.   In this article, however, I am going to focus on Democrats.   Here is my advice: You Need to Vote Democrat… if…. (keep reading).

Based on history and the present reality, you need to vote Democrat if you want: Higher prices. Continuing inflation. Exorbitantly high national debt. Rapidly rising cost of food. Increasing cost of gasoline. Our nation to be dependent on our enemies for energy. The U.S. not to be energy independent, despite our vast reserves. Your retirement to diminish. Young people not to be able to buy homes.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Drag queens telling stories to children. Gross and graphic homosexual acts taught to kindergartners. Your children to decide to change their “gender” in grade school and then have the children taken away from their parents if parents don’t comply. If you want your daughters to be taken for abortions without you knowing it as a parent. School boards to be against parents. School boards to allow and encourage pornography, but shut the microphone off and have the parent removed if a parent dares to read that same school approved pornography at a school board meeting. Parents to be viewed as domestic terrorists if they care about what their children are learning. The view to prevail that the children actually belong to the teachers. Leftist, radical teachers' unions to control the education of your children. Teachers' unions to refuse to teach for many months (two years?) claiming “Covid,” while demanding their pay, then demanding subsidy from the Federal Government, and then denying that they objected to teaching.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Criminals let back on the street. Murderers set free within 24 hours. A vice presidential candidate – later Vice President – who helped raise bail money to let violent criminals out who were burning, rioting, and looting our cities. A presidential candidate – later occupant of the White House – who refused to condemn burning, looting, rioting, and murder in the streets of America in 2020 for over 100 days. Soros-backed, hate-America, anti-law, pro-criminal district attorneys to be elected.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: God’s definition of one man-one woman marriage destroyed. To support that for which God destroyed Sodom. To defy God’s declaration that there are only two genders: male and female. Perversion and debauchery to flourish in our streets with great “pride.” For men to call themselves women and continue to bully girls in sports, and in some cases rape girls in the locker rooms and bathrooms, while the girls who protest are thrown out of their own locker rooms.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Babies to be dismembered in the womb, torn limb for limb, and their spinal cords cut, all done with no anesthesia. Babies – in some cases – to be left to die after failed abortions. Parents to have the option to terminate the life of a baby, that is, kill the baby, up to 28 days after birth, if they decide they do not want him or her. Innocent babies to be killed in the womb while protecting criminals on the streets.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: To defund the police. To have rioters attack police stations and defend them for doing it. Crime to increase. Your neighborhoods to be terrorized by criminals. To have stores vandalized, justifying it as reparations. Criminals not to be arrested or prosecuted so long as they steal less than $1,000 at a time. To replace police with social workers.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: No borders for our nation. Anyone – criminal or otherwise – to come in, without knowing who they are. For you, as a citizen, to have to comply with strict Covid overregulation, while illegal immigrants don’t have to comply at all. Illegal immigrants shipped to your community by the Federal Government with no warning to your Governor or Mayor. Liberal communities to claim they are “sanctuary cities,” but protest when illegal immigrants are brought to their community.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: All Whites to be viewed as racists and oppressors. All Blacks to be perceived as oppressed and thus incapable of “climbing the ladder.” Asian-Americans to be punished for scoring high on college entrance exams. All persons who have worked hard to accumulate some wealth to be viewed as “privileged,” a pejorative, disdainful term. All standard curriculum – including math – to be viewed as inherently racist. To exploit race against race. Your party to talk a lot about the poor, but at the same time create policies that make them permanently poor.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Cancel culture to thrive. Religious liberty destroyed. To squelch free speech. To silence anyone who questions the results of an election. To arrest people who support the defense of the most innocent among us, the unborn. The weaponizing of national law enforcement, thus they break down doors of law-abiding citizens to intimidate them. The main street media to be the public relations department for your Democrat Party.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: To buy into the fearmongering of climate change (as opposed to a sane and sound approach to scientifically grounded “Creation Care”). The nation’s infrastructure to be destroyed due to lack of the use of fossil fuels. The nation to experience an energy crisis when they discover what we already know, that renewables are woefully inadequate to meet our future needs. Our nation to become a third-world nation.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: The government to force you to put something in your body you do not want. The government to lie about the origin of Covid. The government to lie about the effectiveness of the so-called vaccine. The government to lie about the harmful impact of the so-called vaccine. The government to censor, muzzle, and even jail doctors who point out the results of their research regarding Covid and the so-called vaccine. The “governmental-medical cabal” to silence any opposition. Medical freedom to end. Totalitarianism to overtake the medical community as well.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: The mentally ill and drug addicted to take control of and destroy our neighborhoods. To not deal wisely and forcefully with the filth, feces, crime, disease, and murder in homeless encampments.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Congress to spend all its time on a manufactured lie about Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election. Congress to spend all its time impeaching a President – not once, but twice – because they hate his popularity. Congress to do everything it can to disallow and open investigation of the 2020 election. Cabinet members who look right at Members of Congress and lie (“The border is secure”). Nominees to the Supreme Court who do not know what a woman is because she is “not a biologist.” Two states added to the Union simply because your party cannot win any other way. Several justices added to the Supreme Court because your party simply cannot win any other way. A Department of Justice which violates the law anytime it chooses to, including the failure to protect pro-life pregnancy centers from firebombing and attacks, or protecting the homes of Supreme Court Justices. An FBI which was once so respected, but which now kicks down the doors of political opponents as a show of force. Totalitarian authoritarianism in this nation, while chanting “Democracy is at stake.”   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum to run your country. George Soros and his ilk to rob the nation of sovereignty. Mark Zuckerberg to control elections with his massive wealth. Globalism, that is, one world government, rather than national sovereignty.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: To announce that you are ashamed of America. To be part of a party which considered voting “God” out of its party platform. Capitalism to be destroyed by excessive overregulation. Entrepreneurs to be penalized for being productive. Socialism. Excessive taxation and hyperregulation. Unelected bureaucrats to run the nation with laws which were not passed by elected representatives.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: The military to be “neutered.” The military to be transgendered, more concerned with wearing high heels than fighting a war. The military to be more focused on affirming homosexuals than defending the nation. China to continue to exercise and radically increase its influence globally, with no checks from the (once strong) U.S. Iran to be supported in its exporting of terrorism globally. North Korea to continue to fire missiles.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Israel to have to stand alone. To falsely accuse Israel of apartheid. A “two-state solution” which will make it impossible for Israel to defend itself. Iran to be equipped with nuclear capabilities, whose goal is to destroy Israel and the U.S. Plane loads of billions of dollars of cash flown to Iran from the U.S.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: A President who is severely cognitively declined, a continual embarrassment to our nation. A Vice President who is profoundly ignorant, a continual embarrassment to our nation. A Speaker of the House who is frequently incoherent. A Senate Majority Leader who is obsessively and irrationally partisan.   You need to vote Democrat if you want: Political elites who make rules for you, but don’t follow them themselves. Elected officials who destroy computer evidence and have no consequences. To destroy this nation.   (Note: the above is based on the Democratic platform, and positions held by many high-level Democrat elected officials.)   And if…if…if you vote Republican, you (assuming you care about Biblical values) need to make sure your candidate adheres to Scriptural truth. For example, 47 Republican Members of the House of Representatives (that is 22% of them) recently voted for that for which God destroyed Sodom.   Thus, the ultimate issue is not whether one is Democrat or Republican. The ultimate issue is this: Is the elected official in conformity with the One who invented government and Who establishes nations?   To the extent that a nation follows the Biblical principles of governance, to that extent there is a reduction of human pain, suffering, and poverty. To the extent that a nation refuses to follow the Biblical principles of governance, to that extent there will be an increase in human pain, suffering, and poverty.   Simply stated, God is loving. He wants our communities and nations to flourish, to have tranquility, peace, and to prosper. He did not write “the book,” and then say, “Oh wow, I forgot about the whole government thing!”   God knows best, even when it comes to government. His ways are always righteous and holy. The Bible has the life-giving foundations for all our governmental and political issues.

MoveOn.org Confuses Fascism with Democracy

The Regressive Left believes in democracy, if the outcomes suit their political agenda.

Anything else is fascism to them, straight up.

Here's the latest stupid rant from MoveOn.org whining about the collapse of democracy. The fact is that they don't like that Republicans and conservatives are fighting back, and fighting back better using their own activist techniques against them!

As Trump continues to threaten fascist violence in response to a possible indictment (he just told a right-wing talk show host that there will be "... problems in this country, the likes of which perhaps we have never seen before" if he is charged with a crime).¹

Democrat Jocelyn Benson in Michigan, who is running against Republican Kristina Karamo. Karamo still believes Trump is president, claims she saw fraud in Detroit, where none existed, and filed a sham lawsuit to get the Supreme Court to throw out the 2020 results.⁵

Democrat Jena Griswold in Colorado, who is running against Republican Pam Anderson. Anderson refuses to denounce Donald Trump's attacks on our democracy and has campaigned alongside Erik Aadland, a devout election denier running for Congress.⁶

Democrat Bee Nguyen in Georgia, who is running against Republican Brad Raffensperger. Raffensperger championed one of the most restrictive voting rights laws that the GOP pushed after losing the 2020 election, blocking drop boxes, restricting early voting, and denying water to voters waiting on line for hours in the heat.⁷

MoveOn.org has never had any real credibility, ever since they stood by the stained Presidency of Bill Clinton. Now, they are busy carrying water for the regressive left, looking for every excuse to criminalize any political opposition in the country.

The Right as Structured in Modern Times is Inevitably Controlled Opposition

When did the political provides of left and right emerge in our modern political discourse?

It happened during the French Revolution. What happened was a mighty populist uprising of angry farmers and disgruntled middle income merchants who were tired of being pushed out of the well being and healthy wishes that every human being women being enjoys.

The driving force was the push to liberalize, to remove the long, centuries-old trappings of tradition, all wrapped also in borders language and culture. The desire to change things in any society will inevitably sponsor a backlash. The right has always been been viewed as the backlash, or the response to slow or deliberately stalliberately stall the changes that a political mood is political movement Has always wanted.

It's inevitable that the political right will become controlled opposition, if we insist on staying stuck within this paradigm of political jockeying of power that emerged during the French revolution. The Left wants to change things, and the Right is committed to keeping things the way they are.

In contrast, the United States paradigm was based on the proper scope of the state and a commitment on how to ensure that the natural rights of all would be protected. It was not about changing everything, but it was about ensuring that the promises and the policies laid down in the long tradition of God-centered Judeo-Christian liberty, that these values would be protected and realized for all.

American politics has turned into the slow, desiccated, degraded modern-day grudge match of the French Revolution, and is now turned into a more sophisticated version of the World Wrestling Dederation. Republicans are now pretty much destined to lose, and all they want to do is just slow things down, because that's what conservatism has been viewed as.

The Problem Is Not the Left: It's the Lack of Righteousness -- BY FAITH!

 Dennis Prager loves to say "The Left ruins everything it touches."

I disagree.

The Left can touch anything it wants. People can choose to "touch back", to push back, to fight back.

And right now, we have seen too many people not do that.

Why? Cowardice, lack of boldness. Remember what Edmund Burke said:

And yet, telling people that they are cowardly does not help people. Shaming people does not get them to break free of the bondage of fear. What does?

God's perfect love:

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18)

This perfect loves gives a perfected standing of righteousness in Christ Jesus!

"Herein is our love made perfect [lit. love perfected among us], that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)

What do we believe about Jesus? That He is our RIGHTEOUSNESS:

"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:" (1 Corinthians 1:30)

and

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)

This righteousness makes us BOLD:

"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." (Proverbs 28:1)

and

"In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee." (Isaiah 54:14)

Righteousness is not something that we do, but something that is done to us! Righteousness frees us fro oppression and fear, because we know that God is with us!

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 54:17)

When you know that no weapon that people use against you will be successful, then you know that you can speak out, step up, speak up, and not fear what man may do to you (Hebrews 13:6)

That's the boldness that is needed, and it comes when we receive--and keep receiving--the gift of righteousness (Romans 5:17)

And that is "the faith" that Paul writes about to the Corinthians:

"Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong." (1 Corinthians 16:13)

We need to get back to the Gospel:

"38Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." (Acts 13:38-39)

BAM!

When the revelation of righteousness by faith is restored in the Body of Christ, then the boldness to stand up to evil will be restored fully in the land. The Left is not the problem. The problem is the lack of righteousnesss, particularly the revelation of righteousness by faith in Christ!

YES!

The Left Uses Kids to Push Tyranny

The Parkland, Florida Massacre was terrible, evil.

The evil of that gun massacre was compounded when it was revealed that four sheriff's deputies in Broward County did not do their job.

They should up at the high school, but stayed outside and allowed the deranged mass murdered Nikolas Cruz to continue shooting at everyone.

The good guys with guns didn't do their job.

The answer isn't to take away firearms from law-abiding citizens.

We need to allow more law-abiding citizens to take their firearms wherever they go!

Of course, the shamelessness of the Left knows no bounds. They used the little kids and teenagers to push more gun control.

That is wrong.

The Left uses emotional manipulation to get their agendas enacted. Tugging at heartstrings is their specialty. We ALL hate when innocent children get killed, but there has to be some logic applied to discussions of “action”. Otherwise we’re likely to be led down a bad path.

That path must not lead to more gun control.

We need crime control. We need mental illness control.

But most importantly, we need to remove the controls unjustly, unconstitutionally placed on law-abiding citizens.

No more no-gun zones.

Constitutional carry is a must.

And to deal with states which still require permits to carry a firearm, national reciprocity.

My Response to Column "To Beat President Trump, You Have to Think Like His Supporters"

This column stood out for me because it has the iconic picture which I have seen used time and again. This photo was taken at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Berkeley last August.

Even though Antifa thugs followed me, harassed me, and stole me Trump gear, the day turned out to be quite a success for the Trump Movement and the Free Speech movement as a whole. Antifa lost all legitimacy that day.

I showed this photo to my father yesterday, too. This was a stunning encounter I had with these two liberals. We did not agree on ... well, just about anything. But we were talking. The older man in the center seemed intent on trying to silence me with interruptions, but I kept sharing my views and making my points.

Eventually, he and I started talking and we found common respect for each other.

The lady on the right insisted on allowing me to be heard, enough that he would quiet down the man in the middle a few times so that I could get my points across. We didn't agree on a lot of things, either, but we were civil with each other.

These encounters need to be the focus of attention, not the evil acts of Antifa afterwards.

Column: To Beat President Trump, You Have to Think Like His Supporters.

Almost a year later, Donald Trump is still president. Powerful men in entertainment, media and even politics have seen their public lives implode under scandal almost instantly for months now, but Trump holds on.

Trump holds on because he has not sexually assaulted and abused other women. For the Left, all the "War on Women" rhetoric falls squarely on the Democratic Party and their liberal, progressive cohorts. The liberals are the people who have been abusing women and children (and also men). They have been suppressing the stories about harassment against women.

It's about time that they were called out on their hypocrisy.

If you’re among the majority of Americans who oppose Trump, you can’t understand why. And it’s making you furious. I saw the same thing happen in my native Venezuela with the late Hugo Chávez, who ruled as precisely the sort of faux-populist strongman that Trump now loves to praise. Chávez’s political career (which only ended with his untimely death) seemed not only immune to scandal, but indeed to profit directly from it. Why? Because scandal is no threat to populism. Scandal sustains populism.

The fact that this writer is comparing President Trump to the now dead dictator Hugo Chavez shows how unhinged the anti-Trump factions have become in this country. Trump has overseen a massive expansion of the free market and free enterprise. Under Chavez and his brutal successor Maduro, the economy has collapsed, wage inflation is spiraling out of control, citizens have lost average of 18 pounds because of food shortages and intense scarcity. The oil-dependent economy cannot generate any wealth since the price of oil has fallen worldwide.

President Trump is expanding liberty and respects the constitutional framework of our country. He restored Congress' primary authority on immigration when he handed the DACA problem back to Congress.

Trump’s overall approval rating has dwindled to below 40 percent, but his base — the only people Trump appears to think he needs to answer to — still loves him. In one November poll, only 7 percent of his supporters from last year said they’d vote differently if they could. Which is to say, in the face of all this scandal, Trump is not even close to collapse. He and his supporters are simply grinning back at you.

Absolutely we love Trump! He has fulfilled one promise after another, and we recognize that the corrupt media is dedicated to shutting down this President one hit after another. Polling and media bias are prevalent in our journalism culture. Trump was projected to lose by a wide margin on Election Day 2016. We all know how that turned out. No matter how distasteful the two major Presidential candidates may have been, Trump turned out to be the anti-establishment answer for millions fed up with the greedy, self-satisfied political class.

I imagine that the polling remains as skewed as ever.

It is clear that 2017 Trump is not very different from 2016 Trump on his way to power. The basic premise remains: that the restoration of the country lies in the destruction of its enemies. The only difference is that Trump, now in power, paints himself as a fighter under siege. What you call scandal is only a sign that he is fighting back. Indeed: that he is fighting you. To his supporters, this is no scandal at all — he’s doing exactly what he promised he would do.

The restoration of this country lies in Making America Great Again. That does not mean that every enemy must be crushed, although many enemies have been trying to destroy or fundamentally transform this country.

His supporters are convinced that you are to blame. Until you can convince them otherwise, they will cheer him on. The name of the game is polarization, and the rookie mistake is to forget you are the enemy.

In the above photo, I spoke with those two liberals among many others in the East Bay area. Not once did I ever conclude that those individuals were causing all the problems in this country. Even Antifa, for all their violent hatred and disregard for our laws, are not the major cause of trouble in our country. In fact, their numbers are dwindling considerably.

Normal politicians collapse in the face of scandal because the scandals show them dozing on the job or falling back on their promises. To get elected, they offer a bargain: "Vote for me: I will make you richer/fight for your rights/assure your progress." Scandals reveal they can’t do that, and thus, they tumble.

President Trump offered more than a bargain to the American public. He presented a simple plan of restoration, recovery, and opportunity. What's not to like? Oh, and he's following through on these promises. Again, why would anyone have a problem with Trump? Only a corrupt, hateful media dedicated to stomping on him because of their rabid anti-American, anti-liberty bias.

However, like all populists, Trump offers a much different deal — "Vote for me: I will destroy your enemies. They are the reason you are not rich/have less rights/America is not great anymore." Scandal is the populist’s natural element for the same reason that demolishing buildings makes more noise than constructing them. His supporters didn’t vote for silence. They voted for a bang.

Nope. What a bunch of garbage. The anti-Trump animus is palpable. They froth at the mouth the moment someone shows them a picture of President Trump. Incredible.

So where you see Robert Mueller making progress at getting to the truth of Russian interference last year, Trump supporters see an altogether different scandal. When Trump’s aides are indicted, but Hillary Clinton isn’t, the probe serves as proof that the system is corrupt.

There was Russian interference through Hillary Clinton. The system is corrupt because of clearly established bias from the investigators. How else should any of us react when key investigators in the FBI are donating huge amounts of money to the Clinton campaigns or receive large donations from friends and political contacts with the Clinton clan?

The scorn of his adversaries, in the eyes of his supporters, proves that he’s doing exactly what they voted for him to do: dismantling a rigged system that they believe destroyed their hopes.

The system has been rigged, and activists in both parties have recognized that. Why do you think that so many Bernie Sanders supporters ended up voting for Trump in the general election?

I know how you feel. You are outraged. Each day that goes by, it makes less sense to you. As Venezuelans used to tell one another: Chávez te tiene loco. Trump is making you crazy. But don’t start by trying to convince Trump supporters that he is a hypocrite who must be impeached, that the news is not actually fake, that your statistical charts and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are in dire need of their attention.

I have asked anti-Trump activists to show me how Trump is a hypocrite. I even pressed two college journalism students to show me proof that the President views the press as an enemy which must be slayed. They could not provide me substantive evidence to prove their point ... because there is none. The corrupt corporate agenda in key media outlets, the repeated reprinting of Fake News is the target.

Before you try to persuade them that they are being racist, or worse, ignorant by believing in Trump, you should ask yourself: Will this help convince them that I am not their enemy? Because what can really win them over is not to prove that you are right. It is to show them you care. Only then will they believe what you say.

I have talked to many liberals and left-leaning activists. Some of them demonstrate caring, but many of them have resorted to silencing me, to trying to scare me off, or attacking me outright. Not much caring, I must say.

Sheer outrage at the president’s scandals is pointless. Worse still is directing your anger at his supporters. Then you’re doing the same thing Trump is: believing your side is all right and the opposite side is all wrong. Rejecting your common humanity and sense of country, you’re playing into the polarization game instead of defeating it.

I have never once said that I agree with everything President Trump is doing or has done. I do not accept everything that he campaigned on. No one is perfect. But I am amazed and grateful that President Trump is exceeding expectations on so many issues. The market turnaround from the failed leadership of Barack Obama is so refreshing that I cannot take offense or exception with is victories.

This is not a call for appeasement, only for efficiency. Trump’s solutions to nation’s problems may be imaginary, but the problems are very real indeed. Populism is and has always been the daughter of political despair. Showing concern is the only way to break the rhetorical polarization.

Trump's solutions are a reality. He is rolling back a considerable number of regulations. His foreign policy leadership has decimated ISIS and put the screws to North Korea and China.

Finally, there is indeed a place for your legitimate moral outrage: not the dining table, but the voting booth. Just ask Alabama Democrats.

The Alabama US Senate race is a total fluke. I would not advise Democrats to place all their hopes on that special election.

So as the second year of Trump’s administration approaches, stop. Take a deep breath. Let all the hatred circle from afar. Don’t let it into your echo chamber. Try to hush it, pause it. Don’t let it close your eyes and tear your own society, your own family, apart.

Notice that it's the Left that has all the hatred. How sad indeed.

How the Left Works: Group Names

Here is a profound insight I had received from a friend of mine named Joshua:

Hey Arthur I realized a pattern between Antifa and BLM, and maybe even the woman's rights movement. Okay here goes. It has to do with their names. If I say I don't like the group "Black Lives Matter" it sounds as if I am saying that black lives are worthless, but I value black people I just don't like the group titled "Black Lives Matter".  

If I say I am against Antifa, it sounds as if I am against people that are fighting Nazis and fascism, but I hate fascism and Nazis I just don't like the group called "anti-fascists" and furthermore  the "women's rights" movement, If I say I don't like that movement, It sounds to other people that I am against woman's value in society. But I value women, I just don't like the feminist movement.  It is all in the name, do you see? to me it appears that someone is very cleverly naming these groups.  

Think about it, whenever we debate these people online we have to clarify that " I'm against fascism too, or I'm against Nazis, or I value black lives, or I value women as much as the next person." But I'm 100% against these political groups, in spite of their names. Anyways just wanted to share my observation. Sorry bout what happened to you in Berkeley but also glad that Antifa is getting the negative limelight they deserve.

Perhaps it's time that we took the same game to their courts and played hard-ball with them?!
