Trump Is Righting Latin America

I am proud to be an American, not just because our nation has lasted 250 years with great success under the same charter, but because of our positive influence around the world.

In World War I, we turned the tide in favor of the Allied forces.

In World War II, Nazi totalitarianism would have won, but the United States bolstered Allied forces overseas and in the European theater. Japanese aggression throughout Southeast Asia, from 1931 to 1945, ended because of America. We dropped two atomic bombs on their homeland, and we forced their surrender.

The Cold War was the longest battle. Yes, there were fewer battles, but many sanctions, lots of threats, and too many incursions and expansions of communist influence around the world. The United States stood firm against the Soviet Union and its satellites. President Nixon’s rapprochement with China and Reagan’s tough diplomacy hastened the Soviet Union’s decline.

The world received an unexpected Christmas gift on December 25, 1991, when Mikhail Gorbachev declared the official dissolution of the Soviet Union.

North Korea still embraces its Stalinist cause, but faces increasing isolation, forcing them to allow increased economic liberalism.  China incorporated market reforms while retaining its authoritarian regime, but a population implosion, weakening trade, and increased indebtedness are dooming the country.

President Trump has increased the pressure on these rogue regimes, demanding economic freedom and political reforms. He has unchained American dependence on China; he has networked rapprochement between North Korea and South Korea; he has resisted Putin’s designs on Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Mountains. Indonesia and Vietnam have also become more friendly towards the United States. Freedom has a chance when nations begin to comply and cooperate with our country.

While Communism collapsed in Russia, it sadly relocated and re-emerged in Latin America. The cancer had already captured Cuba in 1958, then spread through Central and South America. Cartels and gangs filled the power vacuum, and Bush 41’s arrest of Manuel Noriega barely stemmed the tide. Further south, Peronist socialism ruined Argentina for decades, and juntas furthered the political disorder and collapse of freedom on the continent.

Latin America drowned in a red tsunami of communism during the early 2000s, as well. Bolivia floundered under the collectivist tyranny of the Evo Morales, and other Latin American states struggled to stay afloat in the midst of socialist machinations.

Latin America looked done for. America could finish off the Soviet Union, but what could the United States do about our neighbors to the South? If Stalinist Cuba could withstand embargoes, and hostile states like Iran, Russia, and China could form working relationships to undermine the law of nations and public order across the globe, what hope was there that we could turn things around?

President Trump has made all the difference through a savvy foreign policy regime while putting America First. Unlike previous presidents, Republican and Democrat, President Trump made immigration enforcement a cornerstone of his domestic and foreign policy. The free ride of cheap labor was over. He halted the teeming masses of upset refugees throughout the Americas from invading our country.

The message became clear to southern partners, neighbors, and adversaries: “The answer to your problems in your country will not be solved by running to our country.” Without the safe haven of the United States, the citizens of Central and South America had to look inward and turn their own countries around. They had to make do with their situation and find a way to restore order in their countries.

Thus arose Nayib Bukele in 2019. The mayor of San Salvador, he campaigned for president with a new party with a bold, basic platform of restoring civility, shutting down the terrorist gangs and cartels. He defeated the establishment of both major parties and became a human savior for the nation of El Salvador, locking up the prisoners, restoring law and order, then inviting economic investment. Murder rates in the former crime capital of the world have declined immensely—and he just won re-election by massive margins.

Then Argentina voted for freedom in 2023. Having Laboring under unrelenting government intervention, Argentina’s crippling inflation and moral collapse drove voters to take a chance on wily libertarian economics professor, Javier Milei. Adopting Trump’s mission and messaging, Milei took a chainsaw to the state and “the caste” of political insiders. Today, Inflation is crashing, jobs are growing, and law and order is being restored. The new rallying cry across the Land of Silver: Viva La Libertad, Carajo!

Milei credits Trump for his inspiration, and Trump 2.0 assisted Milei’s Congressional elections in 2025 with a credit swamp, which netted the United States massive gains and helped Milei gain power in Argentina’s Congress. He has passed effective economic reforms while cracking down on crime, stumping for life, family, and secured sovereignty.

Amazing!

And the MAGA-oriented right-wing shift has continued:

  • In Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, a center-right businessman with a pro-security platform, took office, winning in late 2023 against leftist Luisa González. His successes netted him a re-election victory in 2025.
  • In In Panama, right-wing candidate José Raúl Mulino won in May 2024, focusing on security and the economy.
  • In 2025, en.wikipedia.orgPresident Trump arrested Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in a swift, early-morning operation, accomplishing what previous administrations had promised. Maduro was arrested for rampant drug trafficking and terrorism. His successor has acquiesced to American diplomatic and business overtures while releasing political prisoners.
  • In Bolivia, Christian right-wing contender Rodrigo Paz Pereira ended twenty years of communist rule under Evo “Evil” Morales. Whoever said that you cannot vote your way out of communism?

en.wikipedia.org

  • In Chile, conservative Catholic José Antonio Kast won in late 2025 following a run-of, defeating a long-standing activist left-wing government which had sought to scrap Chile’s previous conservative reforms, including free market policies and school choice.

en.wikipedia.org

  • Honduras: Nasry Asfura (right-wing National Party) won in late 2025, defeating a leftist incumbent's ally.

  • Costa Rica: Laura Fernández Delgado (conservative/right-wing populist) won in February 2026. She campaigned aggressively on a pro-family platform, as well, denouncing the evils of abortion (just as Milei had done!)

en.wikipedia.org

  • Peru: Keiko Fujimori, daughter of populist former President Alberto, just won in June 2026.

  • In Colombia, another conservative Catholic, Abelardo de la Espriella, has replaced another left-wing narco-state-allied regime.

Look across Latin America today. The right is on the march, cleaning out the wreckage of socialism and communism. Free market reforms are ascending. Rejection of authoritarian regimes, recognition of the state of Israel, friendly concourse with the West, and en masse crackdowns on crime and corruption are redefining the region.

US Senator Ted Cruz offered a profound vision regarding the incredible political rightward shift washing across Latin America:

“[I]f that happens, this would be the most consequential geopolitical shift since the fall of the Berlin Wall, since America won the Cold War without firing a shot.”

Indeed, and Trump deserves credit for this transformation. He provided a successful campaign template focused on illegal immigration, national pride and sovereignty, focusing on economic growth and freedom while promoting traditional values. Trump endorsed many of the candidates listed above, as well, and has offered his support since their election victories.

Trump started the trend, set the standard, and Latin America is going right along with him.

Chile MassResistance Takes Firm Stance Against Left-Wing Gender Ideology

Chile MassResistance activists take to the streets in Santiago to protest depraved transgender bill targeting children

Vote in Parliament is this Tuesday Sept. 4.

Nationwide outrage as citizens become informed about this bill!

See VIDEO below of protest!

Chile MassResistance activists have been protesting in the streets and confronting their legislators at their district offices to stop a destructive LGBT transgender bill targeting vulnerable children.
ALT TEXTThe protest in Santiago.
As we described in our report last week, there is an outrageous bill in Parliament - the Chile National Congress - that would allow “sex change” procedures for 14-year-olds without the consent of their parent – and for children under 14 years old with the consent of just one parent! On August 22, Chile MassResistance organized 50 activists to come to the Parliament and show their outrage -- which successfully caused the vote to be postponed. The vote in the Senate is now scheduled for Sept. 4. If it passes there, it will go to the House of Deputies on Sept. 5.
Last week all the legislators were back in their home districts. Chile MassResistance activists helped organize people across the country to visit the legislators’ district offices and personally tell them to vote against this outrageous bill.

But in Santiago, they took to the streets with a loud public protest. The demonstration also included representatives from other pro-family groups. It ended outside the offices of Senator Andrés Allamand, a key member of the Chilean Senate. They delivered a strongly worded letter and the 19,000 signatures from citizens across Chile demanding that the Parliament reject the bill.
What was particularly infuriating was that the Senator’s staff had recently agreed to meet with one of the mothers. But when she showed up for the meeting, they made her wait all day, and then made her leave without allowing her to meet with anybody. That riled the crowd up even more!
VIDEO: The PROTEST in Santiago!

In the video:
Chanting: "Be responsible! Be responsible! Be responsible, If this law passes it will be irreparable … Senator, do not approve confusion.”
“XX, XY -- That defines the pattern!”
Speaker: “We all know the damage that’s going to be done to thousands of kids and families. We are three million Evangelicals. There are a lot of people with us. The damage that will be done cannot be repaired if this passes.”

Up until now the LGBT lobby has been able to do whatever it wants in Chile. That’s finally changing. The pressure from pro-family citizens – led by Chile MassResistance – is now on the National Congress like never before!
We will let you know what happens!

MassResistance Assists Costa Rica Pro-Family Movement to Stop "Gay Marriage"

MassResistance activists in Costa Rica helping fight “gay marriage” – now being forced by country’s Supreme Court

Legislature has eighteen months to act. A new constitutional amendment?

August 24, 2018
ALT TEXTOur main MassResistance activist in Costa Rica, Luis (left) has been very effective in organizing and educating.
The worldwide LGBT lobby is a step closer to forcing “gay marriage” on the people of Costa Rica. But MassResistance activists there are fighting back – by educating people and lobbying the National Assembly! They are distributing the Spanish-language version of our internationally acclaimed booklet, “What same-sex ‘marriage’ has done to Massachusetts” among to citizens and Senators in the members of the Legislative Assembly.
ALT TEXTThousands of copies of the Spanish version of our booklet were previously distributed in the U.S., Mexico, Jamaica, Spain, and other countries.
It’s the same chilling story we’ve heard (and experienced) since the “gay marriage” train began in Massachusetts.
Costa Rica is a Catholic, conservative country. Same-sex “marriage” has always been illegal in Costa Rica.
Back in 2006, Costa Rica’s Supreme Court ruled that same-sex couples cannot be legally married, and that the country’s Constitution does notrequire that same-sex “marriage” be recognized. The LGBT lobby tried to get it passed by the Legislative Assembly but were unsuccessful.
However, the international LGBT movement would not give up. As in other countries, they funded pro-LGBT politicians and organized LGBT political action groups in Costa Rica. Over time, their power increased across that part of the world.
ALT TEXTCosta Rica is the latest of the Central and South American countries being targeted.
In January 2018, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights ruled that same-sex “marriages” should be recognized throughout the Central and South American countries under its jurisdiction. While it does not have the power to force its rulings on countries, it does have influence in the judicial establishment.
The LGBT movement in Costa Rica jumped on this by filing lawsuits before the Supreme Court. They had the liberal political establishment – including the country’s president, a former rock singer supported by the LGBT lobby –  at their backs.
This time it worked. On August 8 the Costa Rica Supreme Court ruledthat the country’s same-sex “marriage” ban is now unconstitutional and discriminatory! (It’s the same Constitution from 2006, of course.)
As part of the ruling, they gave the National Assembly 18 months to change the country’s marriage laws to conform to the ruling, or else those laws would be declared inoperative.
This was anticipated, so even before the August 8 ruling, MassResistance activists were in the streets and in the halls of the Legislative Assembly educating people.
ALT TEXTOnce people start to understand what's in store for them once "gay marriage" happens, they want to do something.
Here’s what our activist Luis reported back a few days before the ruling:
In our congress we have 57 senators. The pro-family Restauracion Nacional party has 14 seats. It is the second largest party in the congress. It is the unique, completely pro-family and pro-life party. Thank God, today I could reach 4 of 5 of the 14 senators and explain about the booklet. One senator’s aide promised me to distribute the booklet to the other senators.
ALT TEXTPeople are happy that somebody's out in the streets doing this!
Since the ruling, pro-family politicians across the country have been vocal that they will fight this. Pro-family activists are seeking big action, possibly a constitutional amendment.
There appears to be no specific action plan yet. There still are nearly 18 months before the Court’s ruling officially takes effect. MassResistance activists will continue to be a part of the fight!

TPS Program (Temporary Protective Status) No Longer to Be Protected?

DACA has been repealed.

And it looks like another immigration program is about to get deported, too.

Townhall.com reports:

Yet, as the Hill deals with this issue, there’s another immigration issue on the horizon. Axios’ Jonathan Swan said that Temporary Protected Status is the next battle. In short, TPS allows foreign nationals to stay in the U.S. due to extraordinary circumstances in their home countries. This status has to be renewed by President Trump and a handful of nations are approaching their expiration date this fall.

I had spoken with a left-wing open border activist about this program.

In fact, I had never heard of it.

I spoke to another immigrant in the Southeast LA area, and he informed me that this program should serve as a temporary measure only. He later became a citizen, and he now votes!

What is the excuse for the nearly 1 million people in the United States who are staying in this country under the TPS order, but are not taking steps to return to their home countries?

This abuse of our generosity has to stop.

The United States has indeed been a very generous country.

Now they other countries in the world are notoriously abusing this kindness.

We need to stop the overflow of immigration into the United States, legal as well as illegal.

I hope that the President simply does nothing and allows the TPS agreements with different countries to lapse and expire.

We have too many Americans living like refugees in our country. They need our help.
