BREAKING: SAY HIS NAME! BLM Activist Evan "Fake Priest" Bunch Charged by Torrance City Attorney With Vandalism, Assault, and Battery

Residents of the city of Torrance need to know that Evan "Fake Priest" Bunch assaulted me, hit my camera phone out of my hands on May 14, 2019.

For the video of the event, click on the links below

First Video (Go to the 11:25 mark)

Second Video (Go to the 51:50 mark)

This Evan Bunch guy had gotten up all in my face before, specifically at the April 2, 2019 Torrance City Council meeting.

Here's the video (Go to the 2:50 mark)

Mr. Bunch is violent, disrespectful, and a full dishonor to any ministerial position or status. This man is no priest!

I laid back, as I had no interest in any altercation.

He invaded my space, but I saw no reason to retaliate.

In a sense, I wished I had done something different, but at the end of it all, it is best to "pursue peace with all men" (Hebrews 12:14)

His abusive behavior escalated over the next month.

He blurted out a number of times in the city council chambers. This file photo from the Daily Breeze features him before he was ordered to leave the chambers:

Check out his disrespect toward Torrance City Manager, Leroy Jackson:

In this video, you will hear his racist demands to take property away from "white people" as well as his condemnations against the city of Carson, which he claims was founded on "white supremacy". Members of the audience were so disgusted, they said "That's enough!"

Then came the May 14, 2019 Torrance City Council meeting.

In this video, you will witness the rampant disregard for the rule of law, as well as respect for the elected officials and other members of the audience:

Later that evening, he just walked up to me and assaulted me, striking my camera out of my hands:

In this video, after he had struck my phone out of my hands, he violently threatened me.

I ended up filing a police report the next evening because the police department was shut down due to the Code 3 which the Mayor had issued to deal with the BLM disruptions on May 14.

Here's my first video reporting on what happened on May 15, 2019.

The police took care of me within an hour. At first, I was concerned that I would not be able to speak with them, since they were taking care of other crime concerns in the city. The police dispatcher on site informed me that the police officers were aware of my desire to file a police report. Four times they informed me through the dispatcher that they were on their way.

I was really impressed that the Torrance police department was ready and eager to assist me.

They finally arrived, two police officers, and I related to them everything that had happened to me, how "Fake Priest" Evan Bunch assaulted me and threatened me, and how he had harassed me in the past.

I prepared the videos ready to share with the detective who would be assigned to me.

The next morning, May 16, I went to the Torrance Police Department to provide two videos of the crime. I had it all prepared on a flash drive for the detective.

That same day, in the afternoon, a detective had not only been assigned to the case, but requested for me to come and give further testimony and to allow him to take a look at my camera, which Evan Bunch damaged because he had assaulted me. I also submitted to a view a "line up" based on six photos provided a sheet of paper, which is also called a "six-pack line up".

Here's my statement on that event.

The police department staff informed me that I should wait a week before requesting a copy of the police report.

I finally obtained it yesterday (Thursday, May 23, 2019). Here's my statement.

And here are copies of the Police report below:

Today, I received a letter from the Torrance City Attorney's Office:

And the first paragraph reads as follows:

Criminals charges have been filed against Evan Bunch in Superior Court, Case No. 9TR02275

And our good friend Jeremy has prior convictions AND a pending case! UH OH!

OUCH!

Here are the PENDING CASES!

PC 594.

(a) Every person who maliciously commits any of the following acts with respect to any real or personal property not his or her own, in cases other than those specified by state law, is guilty of vandalism:

(1) Defaces with graffiti or other inscribed material.

(b) (1) If the amount of defacement, damage, or destruction is four hundred dollars ($400) or more, vandalism is punishable by imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170 or in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or if the amount of defacement, damage, or destruction is ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or more, by a fine of not more than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment.

He likes to vandalize other people's property!

-------------------------------------------

14601.1

(a) No person shall drive a motor vehicle when his or her driving privilege is suspended or revoked for any reason other than those listed in Section 14601, 14601.2, or 14601.5, if the person so driving has knowledge of the suspension or revocation. Knowledge shall be conclusively presumed if mailed notice has been given by the department to the person pursuant to Section 13106. The presumption established by this subdivision is a presumption affecting the burden of proof.

4000.  (a) (1)

A person shall not drive, move, or leave standing upon a highway, or in an offstreet public parking facility, any motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, pole or pipe dolly, or logging dolly, unless it is registered and the appropriate fees have been paid under this code or registered under the permanent trailer identification program, except that an off-highway motor vehicle which displays an identification plate or device issued by the department pursuant to Section 38010 may be driven, moved, or left standing in an offstreet public parking facility without being registered or paying registration fees.

6028.  (a)

Upon the demand of a peace officer pursuant to subdivision (b) or upon the demand of a peace officer or traffic collision investigator pursuant to subdivision (c), every person who drives a motor vehicle upon a highway shall provide evidence of financial responsibility for the vehicle that is in effect at the time the demand is made. The evidence of financial responsibility may be provided using a mobile electronic device. However, a peace officer shall not stop a vehicle for the sole purpose of determining whether the vehicle is being driven in violation of this subdivision.

Our buddy Jeremy was driving with a suspended license, no registration tags, and no insurance. OUCH!

3. Edward Quinones

What was he charged with? Hmmm ...

403.  Every person who, without authority of law, willfully disturbs or breaks up any assembly or meeting that is not unlawful in its character, other than an assembly or meeting referred to in Section 302 of the Penal Code or Section 18340 of the Elections Code, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

4. Sheila Bates

What was she charged with?

PC 403. Every person who, without authority of law, willfully disturbs or breaks up any assembly or meeting that is not unlawful in its character, other than an assembly or meeting referred to in Section 302 of the Penal Code or Section 18340 of the Elections Code, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
PC 148.  (a) (1) Every person who willfully resists, delays, or obstructs any public officer, peace officer, or an emergency medical technician, as defined in Division 2.5 (commencing with Section 1797) of the Health and Safety Code, in the discharge or attempt to discharge any duty of his or her office or employment, when no other punishment is prescribed, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by imprisonment in a county jail not to exceed one year, or by both that fine and imprisonment.

AND she has priors, too!

Miss Bates seems to have a hard time keeping the hard drinks out of her system, and especially when driving!

23152.

(a) It is unlawful for a person who is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage to drive a vehicle.

(b) It is unlawful for a person who has 0.08 percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in his or her blood to drive a vehicle.
For purposes of this article and Section 34501.16, percent, by weight, of alcohol in a person’s blood is based upon grams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood or grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath.
In any prosecution under this subdivision, it is a rebuttable presumption that the person had 0.08 percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in his or her blood at the time of driving the vehicle if the person had 0.08 percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in his or her blood at the time of the performance of a chemical test within three hours after the driving.

23103.

(a)  A person who drives a vehicle upon a highway in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property is guilty of reckless driving.

According to her file, Mrs. Bates was probably pulled over for drunk driving, but the charges were dismissed for 13125. She plead "No Contest" to reckless driving instead.

Wow. Watch out if you see Ms. Bates on the road!
