WOW! Hawaii (RINO) GOP Under Federal Investigation (HIRA Warned You! AUWE!)

WILL HAWAII GOP OFFICERS LIKE SHIRLENE OSTROV BE GOING TO PRISON ALONG WITH OTHER TOP PARTY OFFICERS AND FAVORED CANDIDATES? AND WILL THE HAWAII GOP BE STUCK PAYING BIG PENALTIES AND FINES?

Aloha Republicans:

Today’s the day we need to ask ourselves this important question:  After hearing just a fraction of the evidence in the video below, do we believe Shirlene Ostrov and her Ward-Tupola-aligned cronies have knowingly placed the Hawaii Republican Party in jeopardy of being politically and financially handicapped for years to come thanks to the prospect of big fines and possible criminal charges resulting from extensive corruption at 725 Kapiolani Blvd.?
For those of us who genuinely want the GOP to become the majority party in Hawaii so we can fix the mess left by 65 years of failed Democrat and RINO rule, Ostrov’s corruption cannot be swept under the rug because it won’t stay there for long.
Today, the Hawaii GOP is under investigation by multiple federal law enforcement agencies and multiple state agencies will soon be initiating their own investigations after several whistleblowers have stepped forward to expose the serious financial and political corruption at the hands of current state chairwoman Ostrov, finance chairman Mark Blackburn and their cronies.  The U.S. Attorney, the FBI, and the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) are just a few of the agencies reviewing and investigating the overwhelming evidence of deliberate wrongdoing inside our state party . . . an investigation begun thanks to HIRA’s recording of a secret meeting and conference call of top party officers inside party headquarters on Kapiolani Blvd. shortly after the disastrous 2018 Election.  The true confessions of wrongdoing are really quite shocking and are backed up by evidence galore.

“THE LENNOX MEMO”
(Here's the memo sent to the Hawaii GOP’s executive committee and state committee by Dennis Lennox the mailand political consultant secretly hired and utilized by the Hawaii GOP throughout 2018 but whose substantial expenses covered by secret slush funds were never reported to federal or state agencies as if Lennox never existed.  This truthful and provocative memo led to the revealing discussion by nearly all top state party leaders - a discussion captured in its entirety on tape by HIRA )

Today, Crooked Shirlene Ostrov and her fellow candidates for party office are acting like nothing’s wrong.  They want the average party member to think there’s nothing to the crimes they are accused of committing.  Ostrov, Gene Ward, Bob McDermott, Gwen Honjo, Mary Smart, Greg Lussier, Steve Yoder, Jane Tatibouet and other party leaders with legal and fiduciary responsibility to the state party have circled the wagons to prevent being caught in a web of money laundering, false reporting, wire fraud, and multiple illegal slush funds during 2018.  Widely-reported document shredding inside party headquarters is just some of the obstruction of justice engaged in by Ostrov and her cronies to cover their tracks.

Politics is serious business and requires political parties and campaigns to follow strict laws and regulations.  Shirlene Ostrov and her cronies (both old and new) know this.  Federal and state laws on campaign finance are crystal clear.  All income by parties and other campaign committees must be reported.  And all expenses must be reported, even if paid for by others.  There are also clear limits to how much individuals can donate, even if trying to illegally circumvent these limits by laundering funds through Shirlene’s hands at HRP.  And even bills which haven’t been paid must be reported.  Total transparency is the name of the game and the price of admission.  Unfortunately, Shirlene Ostrov’s Gang is as crooked as they come and they will take down our party for years to come.

Judge for yourself and listen to the damning audio above which launched a federal, multi-agency investigation which has revealed a mountain of documents, banking records, secret e-mails, travel records, deleted social media posts, secret contracts and much more -- much of which Ostrov tried to shred at GOP state party headquarters.  All of this will lead to the Hawaii GOP’s further demise at the hands of Ostrov and her allies Tupola and Ward.  You need to know that in all these months, state party leaders have refused to amend these reports . . . fraudulent reports which Ostrov’s new treasurer candidate Marilyn Moniz will inherit joint legal responsibility for.

KEEP THIS IN MIND:   Justice is definitely coming.  Ostrov’s running mates know what she has done.  Recently resigned treasurer Gwen Honjo knows it.  Current treasurer Mary Smart knows it.  And incoming treasurer Marilyn Moniz knows it.  They all know what Shirlene Ostrov, Mark Blackburn, and the ENTIRE executive committee of the Hawaii GOP know.  Phony reports have been filed with both the federal government (FEC) and the state government (CSC) to evade getting in trouble for the illegal slush funds, money laundering, and wire fraud routinely conducted by Ostrov and her Tupola-Ward cronies.  Now, Ostrov’s new crew is VOUCHING for her and they clearly DON’T CARE about her corruption.

THINK ABOUT IT:  When justice comes, would it be better for HRP to be in trouble because of the newly re-elected state chair or because of a former state chair who was cut loose?  Yes, think about that.  Because a vote for Ostrov and her RINO slate of corruption-lovers actually makes you complicit in supporting the same corruption which will inevitably lead to fines and possible criminal prosecution.  Why would Hawaii Republicans knowingly embrace a cabal which might soon have to spend your donations to the state party to pay fines and possibly even toward a legal defense fund of the Ostrov-Tupola-Ward officer cabal?

Since Ostrov and her cabal won't keep you informed or even tell you the truth that she and her running mates are hiding things they don't want exposed (and manipulating state conventions with crooked tactics ranging from voter disenfranchisement to phony rulings to scripted outcomes and elimination of discussion), HIRA will always try to tell you what you deserve to know.

Just know that in response to HIRA's exposure of corruption, liberalism and incompetence at the Hawaii GOP, party leaders in the Ostrov-Tupola-Ward Cabal are demanding the signing of non-disclosure agreements by all party officers to protect the corruption from whistleblowers and are pushing new rules to terminate members who expose or even criticize the corrupt, discredited officers.

By now, every single one of Ostrov's running mates for party office know about her corruption and the ongoing criminal investigations.  In fact, they seem perfectly content that Ostrov is shredding documents while the Hawaii GOP is being investigated for money laundering, wire fraud, false reporting, and other crimes.  Ostrov's new treasurer candidate Marilyn Moniz doesn’t seem to care about getting involved with ongoing conspiracies to break laws.  Al Frenzel doesn’t care.  Jane Tatibouet doesn’t care.  Ray L’Heureux doesn’t care.  Steve Lipscomb doesn’t care.  ‘Pastor’ Rojo Herreradoesn’t care.    Miriam Hellreich doesn’t care.  Rapist Demont Conner doesn’t care.  Andria Tupola doesn’t care.  Gene Ward staffer Kaeo Kealoha-Lindseydoesn’t care.  And Gene Ward himself DEFINITELY does not care.

Yes, there’s a lot at stake for our party in 2019 due to crimes committed for the past two years right through the present day.  Hawaii's Republicans have suffered at the hands of these corrupt RINO's long enough.  Nothing changes this weekend except that we’re even closer to a Day of Reckoning for The Ostrov-Tupola-Ward Cabal’s crimes . . . and they are still keeping this a secret from tens of thousands of Republicans in Hawaii just like YOU.

Stay tuned for more shocking information about what these RINO’s have been doing to destroy the Hawaii Republican Party from the inside, year after year after year.  They’ll say (e.g. lie) and do (e.g. steal) anything to retain that ability to sabotage the conservative agenda and keep the Democrat agenda moving forward with the help of the Hawaii GOP and the Republican caucus at the legislature.  ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. Auwe!!

Hawaii OH NO! New RINO Chair Shirley Ostrov Has Broken Every Promise

Hawaii RINOs is going down the tubes ... terribly.

The current chairwoman has not even been a Republican for more that two years.

Now she's the chair!

She made a bunch of promises, too--and she's broken all of them!

Aloha, Republicans:

During a cringe-inducing interview this past Friday on Rick Hamada’s radio show on KHVH 830 AM, current GOP state chair Shirlene "Do Nothing" Ostrov actually described herself on the air as a "military commander" and proclaimed boldly that "I'm looking at campaigns to win the war" against Democrats.  [Pause reading here to allow yourself a full minute of laughter.]

With only four short months until early balloting begins in the 2018 General Election, there's a very real chance that folks are so used to watching Hewaii's Republican Party blow election after election that RINO Ostrov's failed chairmanship is not any more shocking than Fritz Rohlfing's or Pat Saiki's or David Chang's.  Likewise, the liberal voting record of RINO minority leader Andria "Driver's Licenses for Illegal Aliens" Tupola might not be any more shocking than her RINO party leader predecessors Beth "I've always been a Democrat" Fukumoto-Chang, Aaron "Ling" Johanson, and Gene "Obamacare" Ward.  We've all just gotten used to this toxic mix of incompetence and liberalism and losing.

While many former supporters of Shirlene Ostrov have begun parting company with the puppet chair who was plucked from obscurity by Pat Saiki and the Lingle Rail-Tax Deniers at the Oahu League of RINO Women (also turncoat Djou's biggest donors), Ostrov's remaining supporters appear to have been overcome with an acute form of Stockholm Syndrome which paralyzes the sections of the brain where memory and logic are centered.

Since Day One, Ostrov’s faux ‘military campaign’ at the state party has been made up of very specific promises -- promises Ostrov made when she ran for the post of state chair 15 months ago.  Today's HIRA newsletter revisits Ostrov's explicit promises so that the electoral disaster awaiting the Hawaii GOP in a few weeks will make perfect sense to even the most brainwashed Patty Hearst types down at the Oahu League.  First, however, we start with Ostrov's recent multiple assurances that all is great at the state party . . . so great, in fact, that 2018 will be "historic".

*** PROMISE #1:  On 19 March 2018, Ostrov issued a press release in the wake of Charles Djou's resignation from the Hawaii GOP with an unmistakable pledge that, ”Our new leadership team is moving steadily forward with a bold and ambitious agenda and are poised to make historic gains in the 2018 elections.”  Then again, as recently as last month at the state party convention in Kaneohe, Ostrov promised Republicans and the news media alike that the Hawaii GOP "would make HISTORIC GAINS gains this election cycle".  Historic gains.  Well, on last Friday's Hamada radio show, Ostrov explained that her new vice chair for candidate recruitment is former 90's party chair Jane Tatibouet, whom Ostrov erroneously credited for increasing the ranks of elected Republicans at the State Capitol by a whopping 17 new members of the legislature (a rise from 4 to 21). Sadly, the reality is that the increase was merely from 7 to 12 (an increase of 5).  But, hey, what’s a little resume padding?  Still, let's agree to call an increase of 5 "historic".  And let's call breaking even or even losing seats when the issues are on our side as "disastrous".  But the reason Ostrov's promise of "historic gains" can’t and won’t be kept is because the rest of her promises made 16 months ago were just buzz words selected to fool gullible convention delegates who actually WANTED those very things to be delivered.

*** PROMISE #2:   Education, outreach, persuasion, blah, blah, blah . . .

From Ostrov's campaign website:  https://www.shirleneostrov.net/statement-of-candidacy

The Verdict? -- Broken.  Sorry, just ask voters anywhere.  At the grocery store, just ask the people in front of you or behind you if they know any reasons that they should vote R instead of D in 2018.  Simply no case has been made.  The entire burden has been put (as usual) on the shoulders of our underfunded, undersupported, late-starting candidates.  There's been no education of voters, no persuasion, no outreach, and no 'stepping on the gas to accelerate'.  Nothing but silence.  Ostrov and her slate of running mates completely failed to make the case for change to Hawaii voters.  Was she hoping that Democrats would publicly blame themselves for everything wrong?  Did she think Democrats would make the case to vote Republican?  Think again.

*** PROMISE #3:   Independent Audit

The Verdict? -- Broken.  Maybe "first order of business" means something different to Ostrov than everyone else walking the planet.  But the "very short-term completion date" for her "independent analysis" has slipped now into the 13th month of her tenure.  Her claim of "transparency at all levels of leadership" was as flimsy as her empty commitment to spreading the word about GOP solutions and reforms to voters. Disingenuously, she claims to "have no personal or private agenda", yet fails to note that she serves simultaneously as state chair for the Hawaii GOP and vice-president for the Oahu League of RINO Women; a liberal Republican auxiliary which has controlled the Hawaii GOP (and a half-ownership share of the party's Kapiolani headquarters) for decades.  Democrats won't take our call for an audit of HART seriously when the head of the Hawaii GOP fails to deliver to its own members the audit of the party she promised on Day One.

*** PROMISE #4:   Party Platform Free of Manipulation

The Verdict? -- Broken.  Ostrov deliberately manipulated the outcome of the platform process to a degree which makes her manipulative predecessors seem innocent by comparison.  On the eve of the state convention last month, Ostrov shredded the final work product of the statewide platform committee, applied undue influence by sequestering herself with Andria Tupola's running mate (from the state chair race in 2017) behind closed doors, rewrote the platform (cutting out pages and pages of approved planks), re-convened a handful of members of the platform committee to obtain an illusory 're-approval' of her manipulated platform, and then didn't even allow discussion of the platform by convention delegates.  Ostrov abused her power and violated party rules, by unacceptably ramming through the Ostrov rewrite with zero debate, zero discussion, and zero adherence to either her promise or party rules.  This woman simply cannot be believed.

*** PROMISE #5:   Published Calendar of Party Meetings

The Verdict? -- Broken.  Sorry, Shirlene.  You simply haven't done this.  The party website and communications are a total embarrassment.  The lack of a calendar is just another glaring black hole in a sea of nothingness.  Perhaps the problem is that you are out-of-town so often on non-party business like running your company on the mainland, unlike the "full-time party chair" you repeatedly promised to be.  But even busy people use calendars so they don't miss meetings.  And calendars are easy to publish in the 21st Century, if you've got nothing to hide and if the "tough work" is really being tackled.  SPOILER ALERT:  We already know the tough work needed to win elections is NOT being done.

*** PROMISE #6:   Ostrov and Her Running Mates Will Actually Do Their Jobs

The Verdict? -- Broken.  Not one party officer that Ostrov ran with on her slate in 2017 has been succeeding in their jobs and Ostrov doesn't seem to care.  Ostrov's Vice Chair for Coalitions is leaving our candidates empty-handed with no winning coalitions developed.  Ostrov's low energy Vice Chair for Community Service has likewise left the public wondering if Republicans in Hawaii ever perform volunteer work at all.  Jonathan Kunimura, Ostrov's Vice Chair for Communications, has arguably done more to help his pal Charles Djou to attack the Hawaii GOP upon renouncing his party membership than he's done to advance the cause of the state party after more than 13 months on the job.  Ostrov's Vice Chair for Candidate Recruitment failed to find candidates for most races in 2018.  There are more Democrats running unopposed for re-election than there are districts with Republican candidates.  Worst of all, Ostrov's Vice Chair for Coordinated Campaigns is Pat Saiki.  The coming political disaster in 2018 is primarily attributable to Ostrov and Saiki's gross negligence explained with the next broken promise.

*** PROMISE #7:   Ostrov says Party Rules will be Followed

The Verdict? -- Broken.  Obviously, Ostrov was only kidding when she made this promise.  Rulebreaking is rampant at party headquarters.  Most notable is how Ostrov and her party officer running mates blatantly ignore their own explicit job descriptions which were written to make sure that party officers actually tried to win elections.  One of the most crucial breakdowns is Ostrov's failure to perform the required duty of supervising (Section 406 of HRP Rules) the work of her Vice Chair for Coordinated Campaigns, Pat Saiki.  And with Ostrov having promised to be a "full-time" state chair, she has no excuse for this breakdown in performance.

Under party rules (Section 407), Saiki is responsible for the Hawaii GOP's Voter Identification campaign (canvassing all 700,000 registered voters to see who the Republicans are), the Voter Registrationcampaign (signing up hundreds of thousands more potentially Republican voters), the Absentee Ballot program (getting folks to vote early and for Republicans), the Get-Out-The-Vote program (making sure all the identified Republicans actually cast ballots), and much more.  NONE of this is happening.  Pat Saiki isn't doing any of this.  And Shirlene Ostrov knows it.  At a recent meeting of the party's State Committee, a chilling report was given that revealed how a total of ZERO voters out of 700,000 had been canvassed under Saiki and Ostrov in order to identify their political leanings (so that candidates know who to focus their campaigns on -AND- so that the Get-Out-The-Vote effort in October and November only encourages Republican-leaning voters in each race to cast ballots).  This gross negligence by Saiki and Ostrov is a scary situation which completely blows up Ostrov's pretense of being a 'military commander campaigning against Democrats'.  Let's be honest.  Without this important work being done, the Hawaii GOP is in a war with no weapons, no ammunition, no supplies, and no idea where the enemy is located.  In 2018, Hawaii Republicans are sitting ducks with idiots for generals.  Long story short, the party and its 'thrown-to-the-wolves' candidates have no way to make sure that Republican-leaning voters actually turn out to vote in 2018 because Shirlene Ostrov, Pat Saiki and the rest of Ostrov's RINO running mates refused to do the work needed to win.

*** PROMISE #8:   Ostrov says Party Will Take on the Democrats

The Verdict? -- Broken.  Since absolutely no 'strategic messages' have been 'planted all over the state', the average Hawaii voter has been given no idea why they should vote any differently than they have in years gone by.  Perhaps Ostrov means to start doing this AFTER the 2018 election?  Because there's no 'contrast', there's no 'message', there's no 'communication', there's no 'values and issues'.  Just total silence which sets up our candidates for failure and which emboldens the state legislature and county councils to continue ignoring conservative reforms and solutions while continuing to move leftward with each new law, budget, and tax passed.
-------------------------------------------
In closing, it’s a terrible thing knowing that our state party is still controlled by closet Democrats who systematically engineer the weakening of the Republican Party.  What this means is that Hawaii's Democrats face no real challenge every two years, just an illusory one.  Even potential GOP candidates know this as they decline to run for office.  As the Honolulu Star-Advertiser recently noted, "With each passing election cycle the state has become, increasingly, a Democratic Party stronghold, with the isle Republicans fielding fewer candidates."

Sadly, Shirlene Ostrov's promises aren't worth jack squat.  Call it malfeasance, misfeasance or nonfeasance, the job simply isn't getting done by the state chair and her do-nothing posse elected last year at the Kauai state convention.  They promised to make everything better.  They promised "historic gains" in 2018.  Even the local news media can see we're on the verge of a historic trainwreck.  You can draw a straight line from Ostrov's broken promises to the the widely-reported "collapse" of the Isle GOP which will culminate in historic losses on November 6th.

As Star-Advertiser columnist David Shapiro laments, "With each election cycle, it becomes more difficult to take Hawaii Republicans seriously as a major political party."  And this joke of a party was made possible by a succession of RINO's and closet Democrats like Shirlene Ostrov whose idea of 'leadership' is to tell party members what they want to hear in order to win top officer positions at state conventions, then merely sit back and let Democrats win.

The next opportunity to break this vicious cycle through new party leadership comes in 2019 after another two wasted years.  Until then, HIRA urges you to help conservative candidates in 2018 all you can.  Beware of the RINO's on the ballot (and there are several) who make no bones about the fact that positions on issues and political principles and ideology don't matter much to them - just getting into office and getting along with Democrats.  Sorry, we've had enough of closet Democrats after enduring Beth Fukumoto, Andria Tupola, Aaron Johanson, Kym Pine, Cynthia Thielen, Lauren Cheape, Bob "Rail Tax" McDermott, and Gene Ward without electing Fukumoto's clone to replace her in office.  Auwe to that!

Hawaii Hell NO! Hawaii RINO GOP Secrecy from Conservatives, Grassroots

PARALYZING PARANOIA:
Exactly WHAT has Shirlene Ostrov Got Hidden Deep in the HRP Swamp that it needs to be kept Super-Secret?!?

Aloha, Republicans:

Today's keyword is "secrecy".  That's because our state GOP's priority is "secrecy".  Second only to the state party's commitment to continue diverting 100% of scarce donor funds away from time-tested campaign strategies into the #1 priority of purchasing an overpriced office space for the Oahu League of RINO Women, secrecy is the highestpriority of the Hawaii GOP under paranoid RINO state chairShirlene Ostrov.  With only 5 elected Republicans in a state which has 115 elected Democrats, your Hawaii Republican Party has decided to become a Netflix conspiracy thriller . . . instead of a winning party, that is.

So, what has political neophyte and Hellreich puppet Shirlene Ostrov got to hide?  One thing?  Several things?  Hmmm.

Before HIRA helps to answer that question (below), you must first be told that the secrecy issue has EXPLODED in recent days down at the overpriced Kapiolani headquarters of luxury office suites.  In fact, key party volunteers have been instructed in recent days not to bother even showing up for this Saturday's state committee meeting at headquarters unless they sign in advance a draconian new "confidentiality agreement".  According to Ostrov herself, "We would like to have this confidentiality agreement fully executed prior to confirmation (that any volunteer district chairs) will be attending the meeting."  In other words, that meeting won't start until Ostrov is satisfied that everyone has signed the permanent gag order.  Even better, Ostrov suggests, don't even RSVP for the meeting until you have signed the gag order.  Thanks to Ostrov's raging paranoia, you can be sure that Saturday's 2-hour meeting will get off to a rocky, delayed start; including a 15-minute roll call followed by a 45-minute discussion of the confidentiality agreement.

Fear by party leaders of being held accountable (not to mention receiving well-deserved criticism) means thatunprecedented confidentiality agreements are suddenly being required of party volunteers if they want to attend party meetings.  Whoa, these volunteers didn't have to sign anything before thelast meeting or the meeting before that.  These meetings aren't even held in executive session and have always been open to all party members.  What the heck changed?  And why all of a sudden NOW Maybe Ostrov's new secrecy contractcontains some clues.  [Spoiler Alert:  It does contain clues.]  HIRA obtained a copy HERE.
Let's start with Ostrov's "No Publicity" clause.  Get a load of this severely overloaded provision demanded of party volunteers: "Member agrees not to disclose his/her participation in this undertaking, the existence or terms and conditions of the Agreement, or the fact that discussions are being held with the Hawaii Republican Party."  Ostrov apparently believes that the ever-shrinking Hawaii GOP is now a hybrid of the CIA, the KGBand the movie Fight Club ("The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club.")

This "No Publicity" clause forces each party volunteer to forever DENY they ever signed this stupid agreement, DENY that party meetings ever result in anything ever being discussed, and DENY that they've ever even been to a party meeting.  Talk about cloak and dagger.  And if you don't keep this gag order on the downlow, the party can sue you in state and/or federal court for damages.

But it gets even more stupid than that.

As Ostrov herself explains, the mandatory and forevergag order "covers any and all information passed along in these critical meetings" for all eternity.  For instance, if Ostrov admits that the party has been operating without an approved budget for several months and word gets out, you must agree to let the party sue you in state and/or federal court so that "equitable relief" (such as garnishing your wages) can be obtained by Ostrov's KGB party from your personal checking account, according to the contract's "Governing Law and Equitable Relief" clause.

Question of the Day:  What exactly is defined by Ostrov or included as "confidential" information?  EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE, even your own "personal email correspondence", "committee meeting discussions", "notes" from meetings, and much, much more.  As Ostrov states, "this version confidentiality agreement is much more robust and extends far beyond".  It sure does extend 'far beyond'; right into your personal e-mails and so much more . . . forever!

Talk about a recipe for dysfunction.  The terms of the bogus agreement will make it impossible for most party officers to carry out their jobs, which includes keeping party members and volunteers informed.  District chairs will be forbidden from sharing party-related information with their precinct chairs or to any party members without following the strict procedure concerning information, which the gag order dictates "shall not be disclosed until thirty (30) days after written notice of intent to disclose is given to the Hawaii Republican Party along with the asserted grounds for disclosure."   Hawaii's primary election takes place Aug. 11, 2018, and the general election will be held Nov. 6, 2018.  This paranoid attitude will grind the already dysfunctional Hawaii GOP to a halt.  Let's be sure to let the Democrats know that we might have to postpone the election so that the lawyers can review all disclosures of information among party volunteers, since EVERYTHING discussed is now deemed "confidential".  This is a dream scenario for closet Democrats Hellreich and Saiki who have spent DECADES making sure that the Hawaii GOP stays off the political battlefield by refusing to fight Democrats.

In reviewing Empress Ostrov's rulebreaking, unilaterally imposed secrecy agreement, you can see for yourself that if a party volunteer reads about party information in the newspaper or sees it on TVhe/she cannot even discuss the publicly available information with ANYBODYwithout providing 30 days notice to party leaders and hoping these 'paranoiacs' eventually get around to approving permission (Spoiler Alert:  which they won't grant).  If Hawaii's Democrats operated this way, they'd still be in a distant 2nd place to the GOP, like they were until 1954.

Welcome to the Twilight Zone.  Where Democrats have been kicking Republican okole for 63 years, and the paranoid GOP chair's response is to try putting a lid on the embarrassing reasons why the RINO-controlled state party keeps losing, on purpose, by controlling everyone's thoughts, words, writings, knowledge, and more -- instead of just fixing the real problems.

Ostrov claims to have "business experience" and "military experience", but it doesn't show.  Real leaders know that the secret to avoiding embarrassing revelations is to avoid doing things which are embarrassing.  Ostrov and her RINO gang, however, continue to make stupid, anti-GOP decisions that defy logic.  Democrats already know that the Hawaii GOP won't put up a fight.  That's hardly a secret worth protecting.

So WHO is behind all this?  The state party's financial info is public, reported on a regular basis and posted on public websites courtesy of state and federal laws.  The state party'spolitical strategy is public (with vice chair and chief strategist Pat Saiki saying publicly that the Hawaii GOP will not take positions on issues).  Indeed, the state party's total silence is public, as nobody hears or sees the state party doing anything at all.  For instance, there's a special session of the legislature scheduled this month to RAISE TAXES and WASTE BILLIONS OF TAX DOLLARS.  Ostrov, Saiki, Hellreich, and Blackburn aresaying and doing nothing in opposition.  That's crystal clear to the public.  But if this issue were to be discussed on Saturday, everyone would be sworn to secrecy or possibly lose their house or most recent paycheck or whatever Ostrov decides is "equitable relief".  So, in answer to thewho question, the beneficiaries of this enforced secrecy are the RINO party leaders who are sick of being questioned about their liberal logic, their severely bad judgment, and their politically horrendous record.  Do we really need to name names?

Never mind the fact that this whole "confidentiality" rule and contract is a sham which violates party rules.  Ostrov is seeking a faux-legitimate way to treat each volunteer differently based onwhether or not he/she signs the permanent gag order, as well as seeking justification to intimidate and purge conservative volunteers who don't sign on the rotten dotted line.  What Ostrov isNOT doing is reading the state party's own rules.  She haszero authority to enforce the rollout of her Orwellian contract.
Not surprisingly, Paranoid Dictator Ostrov (really the eager and willing puppet of Hellreich, Saiki and Blackburn) has not been advised against this course of action by her Fritz Rohlfingholdover -- the reappointed rules committee chairman Andrew Walden -- that she is breaking the rules by attempting to make up the rules via intimidation and sleight of hand rather than properly proposing a rule change to the state convention in 2019.  Nope, she can't wait two years to legally change party rules because a whole bunch of really embarrassing information will soon need to be disclosed to the State Committee -- her target audience for this confidentiality agreement.

Look, party volunteers are notcompany employees who have agreed in advance when they got hired to obeying whatever updated 'rules' get made up as Team Ostrov stumbles along.  State rules must be adopted at state conventions.  In fact, no vote of any committee has yet approved (or begun to approve) Empress Ostrov's confidentiality agreement as a condition of serving as a party volunteer, such as district chairmen or precinct chairmen.  The Walden-run rules committee hasn't even considered the mandating of confidentiality agreements as a proposal.  Ergo, there is no foundation in the rules for any mandatory confidentiality agreement which would preclude an officer which refuses to sign from receiving full cooperation from the party.  Gosh, if the party really does have a new pro bono lawyer, it's obvious that he or she either had nothing to do with drafting this particular agreement or he/she hasn't read the state party's rules and/or knows anything about volunteer organizations.

This whole thing is a farce which deliberately departs from party rules.  Ostrov and her band of RINO sycophants want to get out of their duty to report painful truths to the State Committee by pitting district chairs and other committee members against each other with this gag order diversion.  The committee only meets quarterly, hold lots of power, but (like her RINO predecessors) Ostrov plans to waste time andfill the headquarters with the smell of rotting red herrings like this contract to distract from the many problems at hand (a.k.a. the secrets she is afraid will humiliate her like her many broken promises, the lack of a required budget, the failure to report results of a forensic audit, the financial woes, etc.).

WHAT HAVE THEY GOT TO HIDE?
HERE ARE SOME WORRISOME "SECRETS"
THAT ARE ALL PUBLIC INFORMATION:

  • The State Campaign Spending Commission says that Ostrov and Blackburn have only raised a pittance of money fromTWO DONORS during her first six weeks as state chair.  That's it!!  So much for all the "big donors" we were assured had been lined up, waiting in the wings, and ready to invest once the Kauai state convention back in May got around to coronating Queen Shirlene.  Party finances are even more of a disgrace now than they were when Fritz Rohlfing and Jack James were running the state party into the ground.
  • More public info -- You know that super-expensive "Lincoln Day Dinner starring Jason Chaffetz" event organized by 'Fritzy Boy' Rohlfing and his extremely loyal henchman Jack James (pictured) which gotcanceled at the last minute in May.  Here are two funny notes about that . . .
First, Fritz Rohlfing henchman Steve Yoder paid $3,092.00 for food for the canceled Lincoln Day Dinner.  Yes, he must have been really in bed with Rohlfing if hewillingly forked over all that $$ to a lost cause in what appeared to be a zero-interest loan.  Don't worry, Rohlfing reimbursed Yoder with donor funds back in March.  Still, nobody got to eat that three thousand dollars worth of food.  Donor funds apparently went down the garbage disposal.  Better keep that secret!!
The second funny story about the Jason Chaffetz event is that the 1,000 people projected to come to the Jason Chaffetz fundraiser only turned out to be 24 peoplemostly full-blown RINO hangers-on like Djou, Felix, Hellreich, Thomason, Marumoto, Ward, Smart, Frenzel, etc.  Some of these were undoubtedly seat-fillers who came for free to avoid embarrassment to party leaders and the keynote speaker himself.  Theoriginal plan was to sell 1,000 tickets to see Jason Chaffetz at the Honolulu Convention Center.  So it turns out that only 24 people showed up for an event so small that the party had to move it to a tiny room at a hotel.  And it was such a tiny turnout of only 2.4% of the projected attendance, that all 24 guests were all able to pose for a photo with the resigned Utah congressman.  Yep, after all the Ostrov HYPE, that's all the people that the self-discrediting Ostrov was able to get to attend this big fundraiser.  From 1,000 down to just 24.  The party is really in the dumps under the Hellreich RINO gang.  And, if they ever get their hands on any money, history teaches us one thing over and over and over:  RINO party leaders only ever spend $$$$ on bloated administrative overhead.  For this, Democrats are grateful.
  • Speaking of non-secret information, Ostrov has probably NOT kept the state committee apprised of the $60,000+ balloon payment on the commercial mortgage for the party's headquarters -- the payment due in a few months just as the 2018 election is getting underway.  RINO's will have yet another built-in excuse to hold a fundraiser and keep diverting 100% of donor funds to "the mortgage" rather than to helping educate, persuade and organize voters, lobby the legislature and the the county councils, or even win elections.  The balloon payment presents perfect timing for yet another reason for the state party to everything it can to provide the Oahu League of RINO Women with a free office space, while party donors get stuck with a permanent, lifetime payment of $3,000 per month for the maintenance fee.  No wonder we keep losing!
  • Here's another poorly-kept "secret" - Ostrov has gone nearly three months without even presenting an approved budget.  If her predecessors have any advice for her, it would be to do exactly as they've done -- (1) REFUSE to solicit input for the party budget from state committee members in advance of presenting it; (2) when the meeting happens,SANDBAG members by showing it to them and insisting they vote right away after it's been presented; and (3) play theBLAME GAME to make it seem like any delay is their fault for daring to question the judgment and hasty budgeting of the state chair.  This might sound crazy, but this 3-step plan has been used repeatedly in recent years exactly as described.  No wonder Ostrov wants these people to sign confidentiality agreements.
  • The worst-kept "secret" of all:  That the state Republican party is now the pro-tax, pro-spending, pro-rail, totally-quiet-about-everything-Democrats-do party.  It's now just 3 weeks until the Democrat's special session in late August (this month!!) to hike taxes and waste billion$.  Neither Ostrov, Saiki, Ward, Hellreich, Blackburn, minority leader Tupola, nor Rohlfing are doing anything to identify the Hawaii GOP with the majority of Hawaii voters who oppose this scam.  Here's the actual justification:  "If RINO Lingle is responsible for the rail tax, RINO Djou is responsible for creating HART, and RINO McDermott (the party's gubernatorial candidate in 2018) supports the rail tax and rail spending, then the state party needs to stay out of it and let Democrats get their tax hike and pay for their rail project."
  • Another poorly kept secret is that RINO Linda "massive tax hiker" Lingle appears to be trying to worm her way back into Hawaii politics while helping Miriam Hellreich and Pat Saiki (and their new accolyte Mark Blackburn) to enforce liberalism at the Hawaii GOP.  Fake conservative Ostrov is desperate enough to go along for the ride.  Keep watching for developments on this.

Finally, no amount of enforced secrecy can disguise the steady drop in the number of elected Republicans or thatOstrov has deliberately surrounded herself with the very RINO's responsible for that plunge.  It was inevitable that Ostrov would place a high priority on secrecy and then plot to commit the murder of all remaining transparency and accountability at the Hawaii GOP.

Members of the State Committee and other campaign volunteers like the 51 district chairs across the state are being fooled THIS WEEK into a fake obligation to sign their lives away and, thus, allow party leaders to treat them differently based on which ones allowed themselves to be badgered into signing this agreement versus those who recognize a dangerous scam when they see one.

What the state party needs is not a gag order but a checklist ofDON'Ts for Ostrov and her adopted gang of RINO's who've hijacked the state party for decades now:

  1. Don't
include fake Republicans like Miriam Hellreich, closet Democrats like Gene Ward, liberals likePat Saiki and Boyd Ready, and desperate wannabes likeMark Blackburn in the leadership of the Republican Party.  Man, these liberal cronies sure know how to fly through money and waste decades of missed political opportunities resulting in zero return on investment for party donors and volunteers.  That's a big DON'T.
  2. Don't keep letting Democrats get away with murder by perennially diverting 100% of GOP donor funds to bloated administrative overhead while not investing a penny into campaigning, lobbying, messaging, organizing, etc.  [Otherwise, it will remain obvious that RINO's are only pretending to run a party when they are merely using donor funds to purchase a pricey office in perpetuity for the Oahu League of RINO Women.]
  3. Don't keep dipping into the mortgage fund to stay afloatwhile keeping it as secret that there's a massive balloon payment due in less than a year; right in the middle of the 2018 campaign season.  Holy moly, how many fundraisers have already been held for the mortgage; already raising more than enough money to pay it off 100% years ago? Something's really fishy here.  No wonder they want to keep all this secret.
  4. Don't keep doing dumb things which only benefit the Democrat Party and its candidates and expect to prevent justified embarrassment.  Everyone knows that Ostrov is the puppet of Hellreich and Saiki.  Even the 'biggest', 'tallest' and most sycophantic and delusional supporters of newbie Ostrov will eventually recognize the same patterns and same obfuscations and the same shibai pulled in previous years.  If Ostrov doesn't push the above-named RINO's out of party leadership soon, 2018 will turn out just like 2016 and 2014 and 2012 and 2010 all over again.  Auwe!!

Finally, please be advised that HIRA is not obsessed with secrecy like the thin-skinned RINO control freaks at our dysfunctional state party.  Please accept this e-mail from HIRA as official notification and permission so that you can feel free to forward this e-mail and all its contents (as well as past and future e-mails) to whomever you like.  HIRA will not sue you for sharing this information.  Unlike, Queen Shirlene Ostrov and her liberal puppetmasters, HIRA will not make you sign something and pretend that you are required to sign it and threaten to treat you differently for not signing it.

HIRA simply wants to drain the swamp so that the Republican Party of Hawaii is finally run for the benefit of real Republican policies, solutions, reforms, and candidates.  The GOP could become the majority party in Democrat-run Hawaii if we got our act together.  All the arguments are on our side.  But we need to remember that openness and transparency and learning from mistakes are true Republican values.  Let the phony Republicans on Kapiolani Blvd. demand complete silence from those who are gullible enough to confuse defending the GOP with defending RINO corruption and incompetence.  Meanwhile, let the sun shine in and kill off all the germs.
