Supervisor Kuehl, you said: "I'm particularly struck by the blowback from a number, though not a really significant number of sort of, 'snowflake weepies' about how oppressive it is to wear a mask. I don't hear them writing me about shoes, which are actually more oppressive to your feet than wearing a mask on your face but we do that really for health or the requirement to wear a shirt when you enter a restaurant."

To compare wearing a mask with wearing a shirt and shoes is just ludicrous. Shirts and shoes serve a well-established purpose for individuals to protect their feet and to ensure proper decorum in a public place. Those customs are not an impediment to speaking or breathing, either.

Only recently, with the advent of the COVID-19 outbreak, were certain locations pressing for the wearing of masks. Yet a growing body of research has confirmed that these masks were ineffective and unnecessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Furthermore, it is an unnatural abuse of power for any agency to mandate the wearing of masks.

LA Supervisor Sheila Cruel Sells out Constituents for DACA Illegals

Los Angeles Supervisor is bending over backwards to protect illegal aliens.

She wants us to feel sorry for all the Millennial illegals who have lived in Los Angeles County for how many years, but what about the needs of American citizens?

Her district includes the Brentwood VA, which still does not serve the homeless and struggling veteran population in LA County.

How did it get this bad in the County of Angels?

How is it possible that elected officials, who have taken an oath of office to uphold and defend the United States Constitution, have brazenly sold out the taxpayers and want to protect the needs of criminal elements and unlawful residents in the county?

This is truly heartless. She cares more about illegals than the black communities decimated by illegal immigration.

She cares more about amnesty pandering and virtue-signaling than governing the best interests of the citizenry.

I fear for the future of Los Angeles County--and for the state of California.

Is this as good as it gets? Our representatives care more about illegal aliens than they do the legal residents.

This is all wrong--and we should not stand for it!

This week the President put the future of 800,000 DREAMers in his crosshairs, threatening their access to education, employment and the right to live in the country in which they've been raised. Nearly a quarter of a million of America's DACA youth live in California, and half of those live in Southern California. DACA is not only a humane policy, it is a smart policy. It has not only improved the lives of undocumented young people and their families, it has also had a positive impact on the economy. Multiple studies from across the political spectrum have demonstrated that ending DACA would the cost the U.S. economy hundreds of billions of dollars. Still, it's primarily a matter of fairness and humanity. These young people have been here all their lives. They are, in every way, American kids. Now it falls to Congress to keep DACA in place until legislators can pass a DREAM Act or an immigration reform bill that ensures that these hardworking young people can continue to pursue their aspirations and contribute to America's future. In the meantime, LA County and our Office of Immigration Affairs will continue to stand with these young people and use all the tools available to protect them from the deplorable actions of this administration.

Cruel Sheila Kuehl: Protects Illegals, Hostile to LA County Citizens

Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl is the co-conspirator with Hilda Solis to open up Los Angeles County to illegal aliens and refugees from the Middle East.

Last year, she voted to bring in Middle Eastern refugees.

This was a devastating decision.

I opposed to it, as did many pro-enforcement advocates.

Kuehl is being cruel to her constituents and to the entire country.

One constituent did not mince words with Supervisor Kuehl, and she just couldn't handle it:

The gentleman who chewed out Kuehl could not have been more accurate as well as emphatic. His only error was to diminish the supervisor's Jewish background.

Yet how can she stand by her Jewish roots and yet welcome potential terrorists by the scores, many of whom come from countries who hate Jews and desire the destruction of Israel and the United States?

Why does this matter now, even though the County Board went along with the disastrous refugee welcoming program?

Because she wants to turn the entire county into a safe haven for illegal aliens.

She has a complete disregard for the health and welfare of the taxpayer, naturalized and born citizens of Los Angeles County.

She played a smart young lady in the TV Sitcom "The Many Loves of Doby Gillis."

With her two decisions to play immigrant welcome mat to the world at the expense (morally and financially) of every legal resident of LA County, she has betrayed our trust and demonstrated her unjust affection for regressive politics and globalist insanity.

Contact Sheila Kuehl's office and demand that she rescind these outrageous demands, including the decision to turn Los Angeles County into a wasteful, taxpayer-funded sanctuary for illegal aliens.

Board of Supervisors Passes Countywide Plan to ProtectImmigrants

A countywide plan to protect immigrants (and illegals) in Los Angeles was passed by the Board of Supervisors Tuesday on 12/6/16.

Supervisors Linda Solis and Sheila Kuehl co-authored the Immigration Protection Motion. The motion calls for a county-wide plan to protect the data and identities of local immigrant communities. The motion also explores the possibility of creating an LA County Office or Department of Immigrant Affairs.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors needs to put Americans First!

It is offensive and outrageous that the elceted officials of Los Angeles County pour all of their time and effort into caring for illegal aliens, but won't do anything for the law-abiding, hard-working, tax-paying citizens who live in Los Angeles, who pay their salaries!
