Last year, I had attended a talk hosted by Scripps College, which featured Hussam Ayloush.
He is a radical Muslim activist with known ties to terrorist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood.
Yet he came to an American college campus to lecture the country on tolerance and respect, then to shame the United States for having been founded on a "sense of supremacy."
Excuse me?
Well, I was there, and I confronted him on the true nature of Islam.
Let's just say that he wasn't interested in another point of view, i.e. the truth, getting in the way of his agenda.

Yesterday evening, I was planning to attend a DACA event at Scripps College.
These private post-graduate institutions are notorious for this left-wing activism. We the People Rising and LA County for Trump have done a commendable job of standing up to elected officials and public institutions who are promoting this lawlessness.
The frustrations of these corrupt officials is staggering. Did they really think that American citizens are going to sit back and let their elected officials push this staggering corruption? I don't think so!
Now, Scripps College has become notorious for not only promoting a radical Muslim, Hussam Ayloush, the head of CAIR-LA, a front group for Islamic terror, but now they want to push open borders and unfettered amnesty.

However, sources close to me informed me that the event had been ... cancelled.
What? Apparently, there was a Facebook event page for this meeting too. Then one of my contacts checked up on the event, and behold--the Facebook page was gone.
What?
Other people contacted the key event leaders and the building secretary for the event. They confirmation came through clearly: the students decided to cancel the DACA event.
WOW!
I guess our fellow activists throughout Southern California are developing a consistent reputation to stand up to this corrosive nonsense. Illegal immigration is a crime. Americans must come first, both their needs and their concerns. It is silly and unsustainable that this country, like any other country, should cast aside its core functions of sovereignty to pander to marginal populations.
These actions are offensive and counterproductive.
Some people whom I had contacted wanted to go directly and confront the college students. I say that if we have gotten it to a point where these left-wing illegal alien activists are shutting down their events because they can't stand the heat and the exposure, than that's all good to me.
National Review is taking a dive, sadly, in much of its commentary.
Trump Derangement Syndrome has taken over this publication's editorial board, even though I don't see how William F. Buckley, if he were still alive, would have found anything to be upset about with this guy.
One of their latest articles showcased a series of disruptions on college campuses, which they list as clear examples that freedom of speech is under assault throughout the university system.

October 10: A talk
by Hussam Ayloush, executive director of the Los Angeles chapter of the Council
on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR), is disrupted by non-student audience
members who repeatedly interrupt the speaker with questions and accusations.
I think the bigger question should be: why weren't the students questioning and confronting Ayloush with substantive questions about Islam?
Notice that the writer doesn't discuss or report on what Ayloush was talking about.

Hecklers refuse to stop when repeatedly asked to do so by Professor Hao Huang,
director of the Scripps Humanities Institute. Police are called to escort the
speaker out. A video of the event was uploaded by Arthur C. Schaper, who appears
to have been one of the leading hecklers at both the Becerra shout-down and
this one.
This is perhaps the golden mean or the golden line where I get upset. The prim and proper country club conservatives insist on civility at every level of discourse. But Islam is a dangerous, political cult, not a benign religion. The infiltration of Islam into our daily lives and society needs to be confronted, not accommodated.

Notice once again that the writer does not mention that Ayloush was repeatedly lying about President Trump, specifically when he kept calling the travel ban or the travel restrictions a "Muslim Ban". That is a slanderous lie.
People in the audience called him out on that. He also shamed the United States, claiming that this country was founded on "supremacy." Most importantly, though, we as conservatives should not just sit back and allow radical Muslims to lie to us. This taqqiyah agenda is destroying our country. Look at what is happening in Great Britain, for example, and in other Western nations where elected leaders refuse to take a stand against creeping Islam.
The Scripps disruption is notable as a second shout-down from the
right. Many of the hecklers’ questions were substantive and would have been
fine if they’d been asked in proper turn, with the speaker permitted to answer.
Instead, hecklers peppered Ayloush with a continual stream of shouted questions
and accusations, leading to angry exchanges among audience members and
legitimate concern for the speaker’s safety.
"Legitimate concerns"? Really? No one in the audience threatened the speaker in any way. The Scripps event host called the police to intimidate members in the audience. The truth is that political correctness has taught conservatives that they have to be polite and permit speakers to lie to us. Islam is a dangerous cult--and it must be confronted.
I do not apologize for raising my voice and asking questions without hesitation. I would like to also remind everyone that Ayloush interrupted me when I was asking my question, specifically when I outlined key verses in the Koran which teach violence and death. His answer about treating one life as if they are all lives was taken out of context, as which often happens--and I called him out on that, too.
Yet National Reviews says that I'm interrupting? Really?
Why this craven double standard? Why this unwillingness to fight for the truth? Perhaps William F. Buckley is rolling in his grave after hearing all of this/
Afterwards, Scripps College put
out a statement condemning the hecklers’ comments and offering “support and
resources” to students forced to listen to critiques of Islam. Instead, Scripps
should have considered having security eject the hecklers, not for the content
of their questions and comments, but for their disruptive behavior.
WHAT?
Wow. Now who is the fascist?
Final Reflection
I don't understand where some of these conservatives are coming from on these issues. Do they really think that we are going to ensure the survival and renewal of our culture and our country by sitting patiently and letting subversive elements seep into our society unchecked?
I think not. There is nothing wrong with calling out and challenging the lies of elected officials, radical speakers, and Muslims militantly pushing their religion, their ideology, their agenda, all of which endanger Western civilization and a free nation.
Then again, perhaps we should not be surprised. The elitist veneer that permeates the current National Review editorial board led them to denounce Trump at every level. Would they really have preferred Hillary Clinton to win the election last year? How would that electoral travesty have furthered the cause of conservatism in the United States?
What did William F. Buckley himself counsel to fellow purists? "Support the most conservative candidate who is electable." That candidate in Election 2016 was Donald Trump, and his policies and procedures have been considerable for our cause.
What is the problem here, then? They give me a hard time for confronting the cultural collectivism on college campuses?
There is no excuse, no right for YouTube or any other social media engine to shut this video down.
I refused to be intimidate, or to allow any conglomerate shut me down.

It was incredible what happened.
I was not the only one who spoke out about what he had to say. Other people in the audience denounced his lies about President Trump, the American Experiment, and Judeo-Christian values in the Western World.
Some of the most offensive remarks which came out of his mouth included the derision toward average Americans, many of whom Ayloush commented did not know much about ... anything.
He claimed that the United States was founded on a sense of "supremacy". Huh? This country is based on American exceptionalism, and guess what? America is an exceptional country--everyone wants to live here!
He also lied about Islam. He claimed that it is a peaceful religion, when it is not.
Repeatedly he talked about President Trump's "Muslim ban", which was not just false, but a bitter smear. One lady at the back of the room called out that lie immediately.
When questions emerged from the audience, Ayloush realized that his audience was not going to receive his pro-Muslim propaganda without criticism.
The host of the event tried to shame and silence critics in the audience.
This video is really something, and I am glad that I could capture and upload it for everyone to see.

She didn't like what she was hearing, and she resorted to the same "anti-Muslim" embittered.
The last time
I cried was on October 10, 2017. It was also the first time that someone
questioned whether or not I was American. Buckle up, readers, because if you
haven’t yet experienced racism and Islamophobia, you’re about to.
This little girl cried because of a serious discussion about Islam? She got all perplexed and emotional because adults wanted to confront radical Islam and call out CAIR's terrorist ties?
She was upset because men and women whom she had never met were not going to let Hussam Ayloush get away with talking down to an audience of educated adults? What was she hoping to get out of her college education? She pays $50,000 a year, and for what?!@
That
afternoon, I had gone to the Scripps Hampton Room, intending to listen to
Muslim rights activist Hussam Ayloush speak about CAIR-LA (Council on
American-Islamic Relations), a group Scripps promoted as a “grassroots civil
rights organization [of which Ayloush is Executive Director] that has worked
with the Greater Los Angeles Area Muslim community...for more than two
decades”. According to CAIR’s website, the organization’s mission statement is
to “enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil
liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice
and mutual understanding.”
"Muslim rights"? What's that? Whatever happened to natural rights, which pertain to all individuals? The college experience has become obsessed with pushing identity politics and multiculturalism, none of which has anything to do with the betterment of humanity or civic life. These ethnic divisions are barbaric, not progressive, a throwback to millennia in the past rather than a point to the future.
Looking forward to the Director’s talk, I sat in the back of
the room with other Scripps students and some people from the greater Claremont
community.
The talk
itself was fairly typical. My fellow Scripps students and I noticed early on
that a white man -- not affiliated with Scripps -- was trying to engage with
Ayloush as he was presenting. Ayloush pointed out that American culture has
been driven by biases and prejudice, and that there have always been criteria
in deciding what constitutes a “true” American or a “new” American. He
explained to the audience that we all share land together, and we therefore
share a future together. After being periodically interrupted by the first man
and several other irate audience members, Ayloush stated that no one should
feel the need to convince others of their humanity, but that it is the
responsibility of the people who need to be convinced to do their own research.

"A white man". What does his being white have to do with anything?
Really?
This lady talks about diversity, but she doesn't seem invested in the differences of opinion offered by others, especially a harsh reaction to what Islam represents and is doing in other countries around the world. What about the rights of women? Why is there such a deafening silence among feminists about Islam and the subjugation of women?
The man who interrupted originally interrupted once more. He
started his phrase with “you people”, referencing Muslims.
Yes, I heard that "white man" say "you people." I was not too happy to hear that phrase, either. "You people" does not do justice to that fact that individuals of all backgrounds are quite diverse. Not every Muslim is a terrorist, but Islam is without a doubt a terroristic cult.
I will not back away from stating that politically correct obvious.
I was rolling my eyes while they spoke, because, well, men.
But then the inexcusable happened. Just after Ayloush finished his
presentation, one of the men raised his hands and asked, “what’s your stance on
suicide bombings?” Ayloush, who clearly (and unfortunately) had heard this
before, responded, “what’s yours?”
"Because, well, men." Wow! What a female chauvinist bigot! How would she feel if I had painted the remarks of one woman and judged all women the same way? I am certain she would be offended.
Hell, which had been, quite frankly, toeing the line up to
that point, broke loose. The man started screaming that because Ayloush
wouldn’t respond to the question, it meant he was pro-suicide bombing. Which,
in this heckler’s mind, seemed to mean that all Muslims were now pro-suicide
bombing. When Ayloush responded that he was, in fact, not pro-suicide bombing,
the man asked, “doesn’t the Qur’an promote lying to the infidel?”
But the point is that Ayloush would not answer the question. Didn't that raise any alarms with anyone in the room?
Some of the people in the back of the room explained to two of the students that this non-answer was quite disconcerting!
We all realized at that point that there was no winning or
losing this argument, because it was based on ignorance. Professors tried to
intervene. Had he been the only one stirring agitation in the room, maybe they
could have. But people to my right were protesting that this heckler had a
right to speak, a man behind me was explaining to us how we were being
“brainwashed” by this speaker and by Scripps, and people in front of me were
aghast.
Why was this or that argument based on ignorance? Here response is quite ignorant and arrogant all in one. This kind of elitist snobbery is part of the reason why colleges are no longer repistories of learning.
Another man started angrily shouting about how hate crimes
committed against Jewish people are all committed by Muslims (untrue), and had
brought along a few lines from the Qur’an to “aid” his argument. Ayloush tried
to explain that one cannot understand the Qur’an without context, and how both
the Bible and the Qur’an could be interpreted in many ways; he explained to us
that groups like ISIS and the KKK can rise out of those interpretations.
Someone yelled back, “We’re not talking about the KKK!”
I did not say that hate crimes are committed by Muslims. I said that Jewish people targeted the most for hate crimes. Once again, who is the ignorant party here? I have never read so many lies and arrogant stereotypes all wrapped up in one blog post. This is beyond shameful.
The verses that I quoted served as an aid for the question I had posed: How can this Muslim reconcile his push for peace and diversity, when at the same time Islam is dedicated to make everyone either submit to Islam or face death?
I received no answer.
Hell, which had already broken loose, was somehow punishing
Scripps students by dropping a few of its whiter inhabitants into the Hampton
Room. CAIR is no stranger to controversy and public defamation -- their website
features an entire page devoted to “Dispelling Rumors About CAIR,” stating that
“because of CAIR's high profile and very public record of principled advocacy
of civil liberties, interfaith relations and justice for all people, a small
but vocal group of anti-Muslim bigots has made CAIR the focus of their
misinformation campaign.”
"Whiter inhabitants." More racism. More bigotry. I really think it's time to expose these anti-American universities, where the students have reduced everything to skin color and liberal ideology as the one and only benchmark for meaning and value.
Disgusting. Where is the openness? Where is the true learning? This “vocal group” seems to have found its way to
Claremont, despite the best efforts of event organizers. Assistant Professor of
Politics, Sumita Pahwa, challenged the protestors by explaining that Muslims,
in general, have a lower tolerance for suicide bombings than any other
religious group, according to a study from PEW Research Center. One of the men
(later identified as anti-Muslim blogger Arthur Schaper)
gasped and said, “so you mean to say that some Muslims do support suicide
bombings?” To this man, “fewer” Muslims is enough to label an entire religion
as, somehow, more violent than others.
Now she wants to accuse critics of groupthink, when in fact she has fallen into it herself.
At this point,
we were all at a loss. People were leaving, people were shouting, and people
were stunned. I honestly can’t remember what else was talked about, but you’re
correct if you think it was hurtful and ignorant. It was at this point that I
started crying.
She doesn't remember anything that was discussed, yet she wants to condemn people for confronting Hussam Ayloush about Islam and CAIR's ties to terrorist groups.
The talk was
over. I walked out, and noticed that some of my peers were crying as well. And
then the hecklers came outside and started interacting with us. Schaper
followed and berated audience members as they left the Hampton Room, recording
their reactions in a 15-minute-long video that was later uploaded to YouTube.

Some students stayed behind to challenge his statements about terrorism and
Islamic law, but were shouted down by Schaper and his associates. Protesters
surrounded and cornered audience members outside, arguing that islamophobia
does not exist, and that Christians and Jewish "are the real victims of
prejudice. They questioned why we were fighting for Muslims here, when “good
Christians” were being killed every day in Muslim countries. “Where is the
publicity was for that?”, a Latino man asked us.
They did stay behind to challenge my points of view, and I did listen to them. I even offered to follow up on one text in the Talmud. This student is lying.
I, fool that I am, responded, “Why don’t you do something to
fight for them, and we’ll fight for Muslims in this country?” The man stopped,
looked right at me, and responded, “Because this is my country”. He looked me
right in the eye and asked, “is it yours?”
Who was she talking to? Nothing clear is communicated here. She was just interested in pushing a false narrative, feeling sorry for herself and making people who dislike Islam--having uncovered its clearly pernicious elements--into bigots.
I was floored. I was goddamn floored. For any of you who
don’t know the answer, yes, it is. I can’t tell if this man was questioning me
because of what I said, because I’m brown, or because I’m brown and there was
no way for him to tell whether or not I am a Muslim. (I’m not, but that should
not matter).
Yes, the United States is my country. What is your problem with that?
So I left. I left, I cried, and I became so, so angry about
the state of our world. I’m angry because I’m sure that Hussam Ayloush gets
heckled every day because of his job, his religion, and his race. I’m angry
that Muslims in general have to deal with this hatred so regularly. I’m angry
that people feel so comfortable in their stereotypical American-ness that they
feel entitled to intimidate and threaten and manufacture blatant mistruths at
will. I’m angry that this happened, and I’m angry that not everyone was crying.
I don’t know what the takeaway is from this, but I do know that we need to
consciously include and support all members of our community, especially those
who are most vulnerable to acts of hatred.
So she goes from getting upset and crying about one event to generalizing about the general failure and fallout around the world. Globalize much?
Like Ayloush said, if we share this land, we’re going to
share the future. And here, at the Claremont Colleges, it’s our responsibility
to help protect that future. I only hope that one day, when someone asks, “Is
America really your country?” anyone of any race or religion will feel able to
say “Yes” with as much certainty as I did, or more.
Sharing land does not mean that men and women should subject themselves to terrorism. It does not mean that taxpayer citizens should allow a generation of students to turn into adults who undermine the very values on which this country is built, is based.
They have embraced feelings instead of facts, and they are not interested in considering the deleterious consequences.
This blog was filled with lies, distortions, and misinterpretations. She thought it was OK to stereotype men, and specifically white men.
At the Scripps College Event, people rose up in outrage and slammed Hussam Ayloush for his hateful, bigoted remarks about President, America, our Judeo-Christian values.
He also shamed and mocked his critics in the audience while refusing to answer questions from the audience.
After the meeting, I engaged in discussion with other people at the meeting. First, the camera man in the middle of the room tried to slam me as someone who had painted him and others in the audience with a broad brush. I had not.
Then the Muslim apologist at the back of the room tried to justify Hussam Ayloush and challenge the arguments that Islam is a dangerous political cult. She dismissed some of my arguments by claiming "Well, I only have a PhD." The argument from authority is a tired trope from arrogant liberal academics.
Ayloush had tried the same line on me: "I know the Bible better than you do."
What?! Pretty arrogant and bigoted. This kind of tribal thinking has developed and gotten worse over time among academic communities. The students have adopted this same kind of arrogance, too.
Here's the video link when I had uploaded initially. I took it down after I received two privacy complaints, since I had never entered the challenge of receiving not one but TWO privacy violations.
Here are the emails that I received from YouTube support.
First Email:
Dear Arthur Christopher Schaper,
This is to notify you that we have received a privacy complaint from an individual regarding your content:
Nina Lietlow SC ‘20, who attended the talk, expressed concern about
being in the video Schaper posted online.
“We thought that they were recording but we had no idea that they had
any intention of posting said recording online. We didn’t know that when it was
posted it would be disseminated to a huge number of followers to the person,
and he posted it on YouTube … and on Twitter,” Lietlow said. “He didn’t have
our consent to post it, he didn’t [indicate] that he would post the video and
it was posted with what I took as malicious intent."
I will be spending more time on these asinine comments in a later post.
At the introduction, I learned that he was a recognized leader
in the Democratic Party. I have often felt uneasy about the alliance of the
progressive Democratic Party and Muslim groups. In Islamic countries,
homosexuals are routinely executed, women are subjugated into second-class
status, and religious minorities like Christians and Jews are persecuted or
outright slaughtered, i.e. not very democratic.
It was advertised as a public event!
Ayloush argued that the United States was founded on “supremacy”.
What?! Here’s a better term: exceptionalism, and that’s not a bad thing. The world is better off when
American leads. Ayloush added that he has worked with Latino groups. He has
also formed alliances with Japanese-American activists. The reason? 120,000
Japanese-Americans were interned during World War 11 since the (Democratic) President
deemed a threat to the United States. That comparison was particularly
offensive, since Japanese-Americans do not adhere to a radical political
ideology masquerading as a religion.
Later in his talk, Ayloush marked that he was proud of his
many ethnic heritages. I wish that he had highlighted his American heritage. His
talk carried a deep veneer of elitist arrogance. He claimed that the audience
was far more knowledgeable than “the public”. Really? That same attitude is
part of the reason why the Democratic Party is falling apart, and why Crooked
Hillary lost.
The meeting flamed into a more heated tone when one man blurted
out a question: “What is CAIR’s stance on suicide bombings?” To my shock,
Ayloush attacked the member of the audience and accused him of some kind of
veiled, racist attack against Muslims. Not once did Ayloush personally denounce
suicide-bombings. Not once! The arrogant speaker provided an insufficient
answer, then mocked the audience member: “Do you not understand English?”! Wow!
Then the meeting host shouted at the man: “Shut up!”
One of the students asked more of a soft-ball (scripted?) question.
Ayloush discussed the rising number of hate crimes against Muslims. Immediately,
a lady in the back shouted: “Most of those were hoaxes.” Indeed,
there’s evidence to back up that assertion. Since someone was calling out,
I added that while the press claims that Muslims are the #1 victims of hate
crimes, the statistics suggest otherwise: Jews
are targeted the most.
Ayloush then referred to President Trump’s initial travel
ban as a “Muslim ban”. Immediately I called him out on that: “That’s a lie! It
was a travel ban!” Other people in the audience erupted at him, too. It was an
outrageous slander—and it was not the first time that Ayloush took subtle jabs
at President Trump. He also claimed that he wanted to impose a Muslim registry,
another lie.
Then I spoke. Quoting from verses in the Koran, I recounted
these exhortations to slaughter non-Muslims. I also read from a passage from
another sacred text Sahih Bukhari (52:177), which speaks of the
very rocks crying out “Here’s a Jew. Kill him!”
He refused to answer the question regarding the verses, but
made the oft-repeated argument that every verse must be read and understood in
its context. The verses I cited give no impression that they were historical
verses. They are religious edits, faithfully followed and executed by radical
Muslims today. He then condescended to me: “I know the Bible better than you do.”
WHAT?! I also listed the attacks on Jews and Christians in other countries. How
can any Muslim apologist deny that these attacks are sponsored by literal
readings of the Koran?
An academic in the audience attempted to cover for Ayloush.
Despite the raging insults from the host, (he compared me to a toddler), the
event turned into a lively, brimming shouting match. The host for the event then
called security at the back. It became very clear that feel-good discussions with
a Muslim apologist would not take place in uber-sheltered Scripps College. The
host of the meeting brought the event to a close, all while summoning up police
officers to escort Ayloush out of the building. Other members of the audience denounced
his racist remarks, surrounding him in the process.
Incredible! Men and women in California attended this event,
refused to allow this speaker to get away with coddling and defending Islam,
nor would they allow him to get away with his anti-Trump—and may I write
anti-America--rhetoric. Members of the audience also shouted at him about CAIR’s
terrorist connections, but Ayloush said nothing. It was clear that the CAIR-LA
Executive Director ended up getting far more than a quiet, compliant audience.
Shortly after posting my video of Ayloush’s talk, California
residents (including one current Muslim) contacted me and affirmed tome about CAIR’s
terrorist connections. It’s time for more debate and less peaceful discussion
in the subject of Islam. When
even Fareed Zakaria announce that Islam has a problem, it’s time to
confront this religion and its arrogant, aloof Islamic advocates head-on,
especially in the halls of hallowed, over-priced, trigger-warning academia. Just

Unbelievable. I am seeking legal action at this time as to what I should do next about this issue,
Scripps College has gone fascist. They did not want the general public to see what happened at the Scripps College
