BuzzFeed Reporter Stays Mum About Major Layoffs

           
                     

The March for Our Lives in Downtown Los Angeles turned out the same bevy of "journalists", including the independent reporters who want to seem important and pre-eminent.

This BuzzFeed journalist has shown up many times confronting us and trying to make us Trump supporters look bad. Buzz Feed has developed such a negative reputation. Just as I did with Brown Fabio of the Young Turks, so too I made this BuzzFeed reporter the subject of our interview, too.

She wasn't too keen on talking about how BuzzFeed had to layoff 100 of their staffers. Their fundraising model apparently isn't working that well. In fact, as more people recognize that they are peddling lies and a liberal narrative, fewer people want to read their "news", and the advertisers get jittery and pull away their funding.

BuzzFeed should call themselves "BuzzKill" and call it a day.

Trump Supporter at March for Our Lives Talks to the Young Turks

                       

I had so much fun taking down Brown Fabio of the Young Turks.

He really thought he was going to put me and others on the spot, but from the moment he started asking questions, I put him and the rest of the media "institution" on the spot.

"Does Cenk Uygur acknowledge that the Armenia Genocide occurred?"

Wannabe Fabio above assured me that he acknowledges the unprecedented mass slaughter of Christians by the Turkish (Muslim!) Government in 1915 through 1920. While the Turkish government to this day denies the genocide.

At any rate, here comes Brown Fabio, looking to take down a couple of "clueless" Trump Supporters.

The interview didn't go they way he had hoped. When I mentioned Steve Crowder and the massive number of statistics and research he has produced on the contentious yet essential Second Amendment, he rolled his eyes and scoffed.

Why?

It should not matter who is the source in and of itself. What should matter is whether the reporting is true or not. The obsession without ethos apart from logos is destroying the civic fabric in our country. Should we only believe something or someone because of the flagship title or brand?

Word to all conservatives, to all Trump supporters when confronting the media.

Don't be afraid to question them, to hold them accountable for the lies and distortions of their network. Make them the story while they are interviewing you.

The Corsair Reports on Trump Counter-Protest to Women's March DTLA

The Corsair, an online news site I have never heard of, approached Los Angeles County for Trump as they were counter-protesting the Women's March in Downtown Los Angeles.

They interviewed some of us, and they printed the following report.

Here is one section of the article, which sets the tone for the article:

On Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, a day ahead of the one year anniversary of The Women’s March on Washington, thousands of Angelenos gathered at Pershing Square to voice their concerns regarding a multitude of political issues centered around human rights, gender equality, and racial discrimination. Participants showed up with family and friends in tow, carrying signs inscribed with their messages. Among them four key issues dominate the landscape-- #metoo, #timesup, Deferred Action for Childhood.

The article showed some reasonable balance, actually. 

Here's one segment which featured my remarks at the event:

One of the Trump supporters, Arthur Schaper, attended the event to counter-protest the march, “I’m here celebrating our president, counter-protesting this ridiculous women’s march.” When asked about the issue of sexual assault in The United States of America, Schaper responded by stating, “President Trump has helped to highlight this issue in fact.” Between yelling at the march attendees, he then continued to say, “I can’t think of a president who has been more pro-women than Donald Trump has.”
