June 14th is a special day for three reasons, actually. Yes, it's President Trump's birthday.
It's also Flag Day--and everyone came wearing their Star Spangled Banners with pride:
It's also the birthday for the United States Army! To all our veterans, thank you for your service.
Now, I want to focus on the Trump roundtable which took place during the party.
CBS News showed up with reporter and cameraman to capture the event. The reporter assembled ten Trump supporters, almost all from Orange County.
Their assembly was something to behold. The reporters were expecting a discussion to last about ten minutes, but they ended up talking for about half an hour total.
It was an incredible, diverse group of people, men and women, immigrants and natural-born citizens.

Here are some of the participants.
Eva Weiss was born in Soviet Hungary. For her, she sees that state of California turning more and more into another communist state. Freedoms are under attack, and people are afraid to speak the truth and take a stand for their beliefs. Let's not forget that the state assembly just passed a bill which would essentially criminalize the Bible, particularly its statements and teachings on marriage and sexuality.
Jerry Thomas is half-Filipino, half-white. His father served in the military in the Philippines. However, when Jerry was born, he was born in a Filipino hospital, which made him a Filipino by birth, not an American citizen.
Like his mother, Jerry had to play by the rules, pass all the tests, and pay all the fees to become an American citizens. It's outrageous to him and the millions of other legal residents that illegal aliens break into the United States, then expect full rights as citizens. It's unfair!

The Asian lady in the center of the photo above is also a legal resident, an immigrant from Singapore. So is Crystal Jade, by the way. The island nation has a strong conservative lean to it, and I imagine it's a result of free enterprise and the preaching of the Gospel (Joseph Prince!)
She has helped out the Travis Allen campaign from the beginning--she inspires lots of people!
Our beloved Genevieve spoke at the roundtable, too, with her friend Dawna.
I have learned so much about Genevieve. She has been fighting against open borders, illegal immigration, and anti-American sentiment for at least a decade. Many people joined the fight with Joseph Turner in his Save Our State initiative, for example. Under the Bush Administration, many conservatives didn't feel that they had an ally in the White House who cared about working Americans. Even though George W. Bush worked hard to make sure that the United States stayed staff from international terrorism, he still advocated for a relatively liberal domestic policy, including massive domestic spending, wars without a clear exit strategy at the outset (though the goals and outcomes would take shape for the better).
Today, we have President Trump, who listens to the concerns of the people. It's so refreshing for all of us, and Genevieve spoke at length about this winning aspect of the Trump Administration.

The Constitution State has been blue for decades. Even during Red Wave years, Democrats were winning statewide office, just like in California. He focused on the crushing taxes, fees, and high cost of living in California. The middle class is fleeing the state, but we refuse to leave. I have nowhere else to go, and this regressive leftist destruction won't stay in California.

A number of young people, including the children of our MAGA warriors celebrated with us. It's good to see young people gathering for Trump events. More young people are looking up to the President, including Generation Z and even younger than that.

Final Reflection
I have spoken with conservative pundits and activists who worked on the Ronald Reagan campaign in 1980 and in 1984. The excitement they feel and the opposition they face now is nothing like what happened during the 1980s.
Trump and Reagan share common bonds, including frequent meetings on business and economic prosperity. Both wanted to Make America Great Again after Democratic malaise over one or two terms prior.
I have supported Republicans for President since I could vote. I didn't pay all that much attention besides voting, and I didn't get active, as in protesting elected officials and working on campaigns until Barack Obama got elected and shoved Obamacare down our throats.
We the People got mad, and Trump understood our outrage. He is fighting for what we care about. Even in California, one of the bluest states in the union, we are feeling the victory. Going forward, we hope to see a Red Wave strengthen President Trump's working majorities, even here in California.
