Media Forced to Cover Pedophile Weiner, But Still Soft-Pedals the Perversion

For the last thirty years, it was crystal clear to many that the media bias was so slanted toward protecting Democrats at all costs, that they could commit the most egregious personal crimes and pretty much get away with it.

This fallout was particularly clear in the case of Bill Clinton, who had soiled the Presidency with his personal affairs, then lied under oath to a grand jury about his infidelities. How could the Democratic Party continue to stand by their man?

The Republican Party leadership did not have clean hands or faithful vows, either. New Gingrich was having an adulterous affair, too, but he had resigned--and he did not lie under oath about his infidelities. His supposed replacement was Bob Livingston, but he had cheated on his wife, too.

Then there was Dennis Hastert--lo and behold, he had molested his high school students when he had served as a wrestling coach. He had left office by the time these disgusting crimes were revealed.

 So, what is the difference in the midst of all this despicable behavior?

Republicans went away. Their base would not tolerate such disgraceful behavior. The actions of these elected officials came to light, and they ran away as they should have. The Democratic Party continues to stand with these perverts, and even defends them.

Who can forget Gerry Studs of Massachusetts?! This guy was sleeping with one of his pages! Disgusting! Let's not forget Bwaney Fwank of the same Bay State! One of his lovers was running a brothel out of his own office! SICK!

The Mayor of Seattle, Washington, a hard-core progressive Democrat, had to step down following the fifth--that's right, FIFTH--accuser calling him out for child molestation. Where is the national outrage on this?

The Democratic Party has embraced the destructive LGBT Agenda at its fullest, and they are reaping the results of this destructive agenda. These behaviors result from all forms of child abuse. I cannot believe how many people have come forward from the gay lifestyle, announcing that they had been molested as children. This evil has to be confronted. We cannot normalize sin and then wonder why it proliferates.

So, back to Weiner-gate.

The media had to cover at great length that the former Congressman, well-known for lashing out at Republicans for killing a crony-filled funding package to help fund First Responders during 9-11. There is nothing wrong with proper compensation for first responders, There is plenty wrong with cronyism and graft.

There was even more wrong with Weiner, though, and he didn't want to come clean about it. This guy was sexting people pictures of his private parts. He was abusing his office to solicit sexual favors. This is such unbecoming behavior. What's worse, he not only denied the allegations for weeks, but the media tried to cover for him.

Breitbart took him down like a boss, refusing to let this corrupt, perverted politico to get away with it.

That was only the beginning. Speaker Nancy Pelosi had to pressure Anthony Weiner to resign, or he would lose all his committee assignments next. Imagine that! An outsider-reported named Andrew Breitbart got more done in two weeks than the Republican minority had managed to accomplish in six months.

Incredible, but true.

The media is still very much to blame for Weiner's disgusting behavior. Magazine features and articles tried to play up Anthony Weiner as a brand new man, a troubled former politician who needed to be restored, who needed to get back to the basics.

Nothing could have been further from the truth, and the voters of New York City let him have it when Weiner, in his brazen need for attention and power ran for Mayor following Bloomberg's decision to step down from office. He was still sexting other women online, hiding behind the name "Carlos Danger". He was even sexting people with his little baby right next to him! Those actions invited federal investigation in this online predatory behavior.

He lost the primary against Commie Bill de Blasio. The marriage looked like it was going to fail, but Huma Abedin stood by her man ... still. Why didn't she think about what was best for her child? What is it with these Democratic politicos? Don't they have any shame left?

I guess some of them do. What happened in 2016 and into 2017 brought down Weiner at last. He was connected with under-age girls, sending them lewd pictures of himself. He was caught, convicted, and finally sentenced.

Yet throughout the whole affair, as the media played it up for all to read, no one has slammed him harshly. He has pretty much gotten away with a soft-pedalled rebuke for his behavior. One article noted that he press spent more time feeling sorry for Crooked Hillary, since part of the reason she lost is the contents in wife Huma's computer, which in turn reopened the FBI investigation. Democrats will not accept that Crooked Hillary was a terrible candidate. She was dishonest, wicked, unpleasant, the fakest person one could hope to meet. She was a tired commodity who cheated to get the nomination. Nobody liked her, even the Democrats themselves, who noticed her icy, hateful disdain for American people. "Basket of Deplorables" said it all.

But back to Weiner. Does anyone not get it by now? This man is really sick, really wicked, has serious issues. Yet the media still gives a hint of tragedy rather than stern disdain for what he did. The media roasted Todd Akin for saying "legitimate rape," when the Missouri Congressman turned US Senate candidate was trying to explain his pro-life views. The media went nuts with those comments, going to every length they could to drag down every other Republican candidate with this "War on Women" nonsense.

But Weiner takes picture of his weiner, sexts these images to other women, and even tries to solicit naked pictures from young girls--and the media spends more time spinning out a soap opera. What about other victims of this behavior? What about the fact that the Democratic Party has a bizarre penchant for recruiting and standing by these perverts in the first place?!

And the media soft-pedals this disgusting behavior when Democrats engage in it.

Reminder: Disgraced Democratic Congressman Imprisoned for Sex Crimes (And Media Ignore It)

Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-New York) is aptly named.

This man was taking illicit, explicit photos of himself.

He would send pictures of himself in half-naked to other women.

When some of these lewd pictures ended up on his Twitter feed, he denied them at length, until Anthony Breitbart put the pressure on him so hard, that he eventually had to come clean about his Internet affairs.

He resigned in disgrace, and a Republican won his seat in a special election, even though the district is 3-to-1 Democratic.

Of course, a Democrat who resigns from elected office in disgrace does not remain disgraced forever.

It usually lasts about a week or two.

Weiner then ended up in glossy magazines with featured stories focusing on his upbringing and his political ambitions. They also gloried over the fact that he was getting therapy and working hard to make his marriage work.

Then Weiner launched a bid for Mayor of New York City.

Yet by then, the "common people" had had enough of this guy. I still remember the baker at one borough restaurant kindly imploring the young former House Rep to drop out of the race and just focus on his family.

Instead of kindly listening to the constituent and moving on, Weiner went on a tirade: "Are you judging me? Don't you judge me!"

There is no condemnation in expecting our elected officials to act with a modicum of respect and dignity in the public. Other prospective voters let him have it, saying that they would never vote for him.

Then lo and behold, more revelations that Weiner was taking pictures of his private parts and sending them to other women. He had not been in recovery at all, so to speak. Everything was falling apart of this creepy YOrk geek, who now was coming out as a full-on pervert.

He lost that race for Mayor of New York, too.

Even Lawrence O'Donnell could not ignore this slow-motion trainwreck.

Of course, the failure of this liberal Golden Boy was not a big issue to the media. The national press went crazy when a Missouri Congressman described the importance of protecting life and not punishing an unborn child just beacause the baby was conceived in rape.

But Weiner sticks his weiner on social media mulitple times and loses two bids for public office? The media ignores it.

Then, finally, it comes out that Wiener was sexting to a minor.

Criminal, corrupt, and immoral.

Weiner was busted, now a convicted criminal, and going to prison.

The plea agreement ended a federal investigation into a series of sexually explicit pictures and messages that Mr. Weiner sent last year to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.

It capped the long, tortured downfall of Mr. Weiner, who ruined a once-promising career in Congress and then spoiled various attempts at resurrecting his reputation, all through his uncontrolled habit of using social media and texts to send explicit images to women.

This is a pretty lengthy, even tragic write-up. "Poor Weiner! Couldn't  keep his weiner to himself."

I wonder if this story even made it into the A section of the Times. After all, the narrative of perverse, Democratic politicians is lengthy and sordid, but it simply is not the news that fits the New York Times narrative of propping up corrupt Democrats while doubling down on every infraction committed by a Republican.

The New York Post was far less charitable to Weiner's downfall:

The facts of the case were grotesque. Weiner had engaged in sick “rape” fantasies with the girl, and urged her to dress up in plaid schoolgirl skirts. On Friday as he admitted his guilt and embarrassment to the judge, he cried.

Soon after leaving federal court — with prosecutors’ threat of a two-year prison sentence still ringing in his ears — he learned that his wife had just filed for divorce.

It's worth noting that the media did not play up this story all over the country.

Everyone should make this story a standard example of the double standard of the media, going after conservatives for every mistake, idle word or deed that they state or do. On the other hand, a fully-fledged pervert, who had been pushed out of office twice for his perverse behavior.

This former Congressman went to prison, as part of his plea agreement is that he would not appeal a 21 to27 months sentence. And he has to register as a sex offender.

Now, compare this coverage to the former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, who went to prison for bank fraud charges associated with covering up his acts of child molestation as a wrestling coach. Shameful indeed. How much coverage did that story get? Plenty, and we the reading public learned about Hastert's victims, too, and also about the measures taken by former colleagues to reduce the sentence he would serve.

It was a multi-day news story.

I do not recall any coverage going over what Weiner's crimes did to his victims. I do not recall any features looking at his past or finding out any information about the 15 year-old victim, either.

Again, the media double-standard is unshakable and unmistakable. Weiner commits sex crimes, a liberal Democrat, and there is little fanfare. A Republican engages in sex crimes, and the whole world will hear about it for at least a week, with in-depth exposes.

That is shameful, too.

Weiner Arrest, Convicted, Sentenced (Finally!)

The Weiner has been cut for good.

Anthony Weiner, disgraced former Congressman, is the poster boy for spoiled liberalism run amok in our country's political culture.

There are few if any crimes which the press will indict against liberal and Democratic officials. They get multiple, multiple chances in spite of all their shame, fraud, and political perversions.

Anthony Weiner was the worst. He was caught sexting online and through Twitter.

He denied the report for weeks. The courage of Andrew Breitbart in 2011 was the catalyst which forced the mainstream media to hold Weiner accountable, and in turn pressure him to resign fro office. Most readers will forget this, but following Weiner's resignation, his seat fell into Republican hands! The district was 3-to-1 Democratic, in fact, but Jewish Republican Bob Turner flipped the seat!

Incredible! He also had the help of moderate Democrat Ed Koch to help him out.

Of course, the former Congressman's obsessive need for attention, power, and pre-eminence would not allow him to rest.

He ran for mayor of New York City in 2013. Everyone believed that Weiner had learned to keep his weiner to himself. Then more media discovered that he was still sexting and sending illicit messages and pictures of himself.

He was even sending out illicit images of himself with his child next to him! Already, he was under investigation.

Now, he's going to prison for these sexual addictions.

We are talking about a grown man sending out these messages. What is the matter with this man, that he engages in such behavior, and with a minor!

Even lefting Lawrence O'Donnell had to confront the failed mayoral candidate:

"What is wrong with  you?

Well, it's a prison sentence.

Weiner pleaded guilty to a charge of transmitting sexual material to a minor and could get years in prison. He agreed not to appeal any sentence between 21 and 27 months in prison. He was already in federal custody ahead of the court hearing.

I guess O'Donnell was right to ask the question: "What is wrong with you?

The judge told him he would have to register as a sex offender.

Of course. This man has serious problems. Perhaps he was molested as a child. He certainly struggles in such terrible ways. He is now in growing denial with his background

The FBI began investigating Weiner in September after the 15-year-old North Carolina girl told a tabloid news site, the Daily Mail, that she and the disgraced former politician had exchanged lewd messages for several months.

Why did the FBI have to rely on tips from a foreign newspaper? Wasn't there enough evidence that Anthony was engaging in lewd contact in other reports in this country?

She also accused him of asking her to undress on camera.

Oh my God! This is beyond terrible.

The investigation led FBI agents to seize his laptop computer, which led to the discovery of a new cache of emails that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had sent to Huma Abedin, Weiner’s wife.

More exposure! More indecent exposure, if I may add. What a shame. This is what it has come to in the Democratic Party.

In late October, just days before the election, FBI Director James Comey stunned the country by announcing that his agency was reopening its closed investigation into Clinton’s handling of State Department business on a private email server so it could analyze the newly discovered correspondence.

Notice how the AP report weaves back into the "Hillary Clinton Got Robbed" narrative, rather than focusing on Weiner and his abusive behavior with his ... weiner.

That inquiry was brief. Comey announced shortly before the election that the new emails contained nothing to change his view that Clinton could not be charged with a crime. But Clinton partly blamed her loss to Republican Donald Trump on Comey’s announcement.

Yes, it's all about defending Crooked Hillary, and there is neither focus nor interest in the perverse conduct perpetrated by the former Congressman, former mayoral candidate, and formerly married man who will be formerly free as he serves a prison sentence.

Weiner’s lawyer, Arlo Devlin Brown, did not immediately return a message Friday.

Weiner, who represented New York in Congress from 1999 to 2011, resigned after revelations that he was sending sexually explicit messages to multiple women.

Then he began preying on children. Unbelieveable.

He ran for New York City mayor in 2013 and was leading several polls until it was revealed he had continued his questionable behavior.

Notice the subtle reference to his disgusting actions as "questionable behavior". Really?!

His failed mayoral bid was the subject of the documentary “Weiner.”

Final Reflection

The media still soft-peddles the corruption, criminality, and perversion of Democratic lawmakers.



Anthony Weiner received nothing but softballs and pats on the back for his corrupt, abusive, deplorable behavior as a Congressman. For weeks, the media pratically coddled and protected the corrupt little man with no morals, while it took alternative, outsider journalists like Andrew Breitbart to finally expose the man.

The media was content to keep propping up this pervert, even though he was still engage in illicit behavior. He was receiving puff piece reviews in major magazines, too. But middle-class New Yorkers were having none of it. They called him out repeatedly for his behavior. The new media transition, which allows everyday citizens to report and record the news, picked up heated arguments and debates from prospective voters, all of whom clearly denounced the man.

Four years later, Weiner is heading for the slammer.

Does anyone not believe that the media has a part to play in allowing this pervert to get away with his crimes for so long?
