Learning More About His Grace: More Than a Defense

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." (2 Corinthians 12: 9-10)

We should not run from the attacks of the enemy, but rather know that when the Enemy attacks, he attacks where we are weakest.

Where we are weakest, there God is strongest.

The more that we allow Christ Jesus to have in our lives, the more that we can prosper and be in health, for all that He has for us.

Wonderful!

For this reason, that His grace would superabound in our lives where sin attacked us or where we sinned:

"Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake." (Matthew 5: 11)

Envy is at work in many in this world. They see the children of God propser because of all that Jesus Christ has done in their lives. Because they are unwilling to release themselves and all that they have, that they want to continue to trust in their efforts and receive very little for their efforts, they get mad.

They will attack, but we rest in the goodness of God, knowing that all things are working together for our God, becaus we know that Christ Jesus loves us, and that in Him we are fully and forever accepted before God the Father.

Every attack from man brings forth more favor from God.

So, look at the world, and no matter what you see, you can trust that God is for you, and therefore who indeed can be against you? (Romans 8: 31)

Because you have received Christ Jesus, you can be certain that through Him, you will also freely receive all things (Romans 8: 32)

I am still learning so much about the grace of God, which we receive through Christ Jesus, as we grow in grace and knowledge of Him. Not in saying His name a bunch of times, not in our Bible knowledge, but as we rest and receive from everything that Christ Jesus has done for us, and that as our Mediator at the right hand of the Father, we can know and believe in the love that God the Father has for us!
