John Kerry for Secretary of State -- Scott Brown for US Senate

President Obama has nominated John Kerry for Secretary of State. I hope that John Kerry takes the Secretary of State job.

He is just  a liberal mouthpiece, the failed Presidential candidate who was for the war in Iraq before he was against it.

I do not know what caliber of statesmanship he will bring to the post. Hilary Clinton did pretty well, in spite of the fact that she was one more liberal who would have given "Bubba" four more years in office, this time behind the scenes.

The best reason for his candidacy, of course, is that bipartisan Scott Brown of Wrentham, MA will have another shot at getting elected to the US Senate.

According to recent polls, US Senator Scott Brown would most likely win, running ahead by double digits compared to a host of made-up match-ups, including liberal Congressman Edward Markey among others.

If Brown won the seat again, it would prove to Republicans that 2012 was an aberration of a poor Presidential nominee who dragged down the entire national conference (and Todd Akin's impolitic comments did not help)
