DO NOT DIVIDE TORRANCE INTO TWO SEPARATE CONGRESSIONAL, ASSEMBLY, AND STATE SENATE DISTRICTS.
Torrance is a community of interest with the other beach cities in the South Bay, including Redondo and Hermosa Beach along with El Segundo.
Torrance is not a city of interest with Hawthorne or Compton, bith inner cities resolving different problems and addressing diverse concerns with no connection with the City of Torrance, a balanced city whose residential, commerical, and industrial interests are better served when considered in conjunction with the dynamics of the other coastal communities, from Santa Monica to the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
In light of these factors, please consider reinstituting t the boundaries as crafted for the 1992-2002 decade, or elements which incoroporate the more seamless and interconnected nature of those boundaries.
