As if President Obama did not need any more bad advisers.
Chicago cronie and White House Advisor David Axelrod has derided the Tea Party for the impasse that stalled debate on the raising of the debt ceiling. That is a degrading, if not derisive assumption.
Where was he, the President, and the Democratic posse that dominated Washington from 2009 to early 2011? Doubling the national debt faster than previous administrations had done in years! Instead of chasing down medical mandates and flawed stimulus plans, Congress should have gotten out of the business of trying to fix the economy
The Tea Party is the only force in Washington and the country fearless enough to tackle the mounting fiscal problems bringing down this nation. If not for them, Congress would not even blink sending this nation toward insolvency with a clean raising of the debt ceiling, while the rest of the country would just gawk bleary-eyed. The Tea Party Movement is the best thing to happen in Washington in decades, and the only thing that the current administration can do is attack the ones who are attacking the real problem?
I am with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on this one--we need a change in leadership, and fast if we want to protect this nation from future credit rating downgrades and degrading leadership that refuses to take charge and offer real change to ongoing problems.
