Reaction to Los Angeles Times' Take on Mississippi Immigration Laws

Sometimes I fear that I am reading an anti "anti-illegal immigration" bias in the Los Angeles Times.
I wish that reporters would print the untold harm perpetrated against illegal immigrants instead of casting states with integrity who wish to maintain the integrity of their governments, budgets, and borders.
The Mississippi bill was not an "immigrant crackdown" bill, but rather legislation intended to discourage and discipline illegal immigration, a problem which affects every facet of the public square, from the classroom to the hospital.

Children living in this country deserve enough safety to live and have their being without fear of deportation. Yet parents who insist on breaking the law to enter this country also endanger their children, whether they end up being born in this country or not. This problem merits greater attention than the "cruel and uncanny" legislators who wish to ensure the rule of law for everyone.

Thank you for informing about other states' intentions for dealing with illegal immigration, but to term their efforts an "immigrant crackdown" is misleading and inaccurate.
