A Difference with a Pastor, not with the Doctrine

Man needs Christ and him Crucified more than a fat bank account, than  a better office job, than a more tranquil family and community life.

Pastor Joseph Prince reveals the splendor and wonder of this precious Person.
I am therefore amazed and appalled that he would spend any time praising Pastor Joel Olsteen, who witnesses of God’s Goodness, but does not explain the central source of this goodness: His Son and our Savior Jesus Christ.
I do not differ with grace, prosperity, wealth, health, healing, I differ with the means and the source of these blessings in our lives. Olsteen preaches a man-centered message, very popular to the degree that he magnifies what man can do.  Yet the Cross is an offense to man, who will  do everything in his power to assert his influence in his life, to take credit for the good and the blessings in his life. God does not share his glory. We as bankrupted  humanity have nothing to give God. We can only ask and take from Him, receiving His grace and walking in His Spirit to effect wonders and glory for Him.
We walk in Christ’s parade of triumph. He is the leader, He is our captain, our captor, and our captivating master and lover and savior. Without Him, we can do nothing!
It is the Word of God that ministers to us, not the human ministers themselves. It is the Word of God made flesh in our lives, not our own flesh, that grants us life.
Let us never cease to praise and proclaim the Good Work that Christ has done and continues to do in our lives!
