Way to Go, Newt!
After the CNN moderator John King opened up the debate with questions about his second ex-wife, the former House Speaker went on the attack.
His infidelities are an issue, but it's time to focus on substantive issues beyond his personal perversions.
His kickbacks from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are disgraceful. He has been castigated by his former House colleagues. His partnership with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is disconcerting. He is not fit to be President of the United States.
Gingrich is a great debate. He has a masterful edge with articulating and joining and key facts. He knows how to turn questions against the moderators and trash President Obama's pathetic record.
He would make a great campaign strategist, to be sure, but leader of the free world, Newt Gingrich is not the man for the job.
Still, I ap;appreciate his bold willingness to take on the liberal media, which has contented itself with shaming and slamming Republican contenders with empty attacks and salacious insinuations.
Thank you, Mr. Gingrich, for your outspoken and forthright parry against CNN!
