Kenya MassResistance on the Move

Kenya MassResistance is now the major force countering the LGBT agenda in that nation’s schools.

Prominent Massachusetts pastor joins Kenya MassResistance team for powerful week-long teaching tour of schools, churches, and family conferences.

Telling schoolchildren the truth – opposing the U.S. and foreign-funded LGBT propaganda targeting them.

Our book, The Health Hazards of Homosexuality, is a big hit at the conferences!

Kenya’s vice-president’s wife also attends conference.

Our dynamic Kenya MassResistance organization is led by Pastor Benard Onyango in Nairobi with his leadership team of educators, pastors, and other professionals. It has become the major force in Kenya teaching schoolchildren how to resist the LGBT agenda being pushed at them by the well-funded NGOs (non-governmental organizations).

In Kenya, foreign-funded radical NGOs pay for schooling for poor families. But in return, the children must attend special “health” classes on Saturdays designed by pro-LGBT activists that indoctrinate them into radical ideas and behaviors. Although the Trump administration’s cuts to USAID diminished NGO funding, in Kenya much of it has been brought back from other sources.

Kenya MassResistance is making a difference

Other groups expose this NGO problem. But Kenya MassResistance is the only organization actually going into the schools and churches and teaching students how to resist the propaganda. MassResistance has created specialized lessons for this purpose. As a result, Kenya pro-family conferences have been very eager to hear our story.

In contrast to western countries, the school officials in Kenya largely do not support the LGBT agenda and are eager to allow Kenya MassResistance educators in to teach students the truth! Moreover, the students have a desire to learn, and to seek the guidance and resources to reject LGBT indoctrination.

In Massachusetts, Pastor Steve Craft of Lexington is a prominent force in the pro-family spiritual world (and a great friend of MassResistance). He leads a congregation that attracts parishioners who come from across the state.

Last month, Pastor Craft and his wife Edith travelled to Kenya to join Pastor Benard and the Kenya MassResistance team for a busy week-long teaching tour in schools and churches, providing lessons, support, and resources. He also spoke at two pro-family conferences in Nairobi.

The teaching tour – documented by Pastor Benard in slides

The week-long teaching tour across Nairobi of schools, churches, and two conferences was so impactful that Pastor Benard created a slide-show document describing it (along with some extra photos) for us to use in this report.

Here is what the Kenya MassResistance team did on this powerful teaching tour day by day:

We were told that despite the practical nature of the college vocational education programs in Kenya, LGBT activists from around the world infiltrate these schools and groom older teenagers and young adults into homosexuality and transgenderism.

All the students were attentive and respectful (quite a contrast compared to many American students). The principal of the Ofafa Vocational College loved our team’s presentation, and he was grateful to Pastor Steve for bringing our book, The Health Hazards of Homosexuality, and wanted to purchase a copy. Similarly, the principal of Eastmat Secondary School was also very supportive of our work there.

They were at Touch-Life Children’s Centre in the morning and at King Barracks Secondary School in the afternoon.

The support and enthusiasm from the teachers and the principals at the different schools provided great encouragement to our team, as well. At the King Barracks Secondary School, Pastor Benard talked about the “Gender Unicorn” indoctrination that had already spread across the United States and was now making its way into Kenya’s schools.

In the morning, they were at the Glory Primary School in the Korogocho slums. Children in these schools are particularly vulnerable, and Pastor Steve communicates well with these younger students. In the afternoon, after visiting a family, they were at the Ndurunu Secondary School, which has 950 students.

Thursday, May 15 – At religious elementary school

At the Family Symposium event on Friday, our Kenya MassResistance message was very well received. In addition, we had a table with resource materials. Many people were impressed with our movement and our efforts. The wife of Kenya’s vice president visited our table, as did the vice president of Nairobi Red Cross. Stephen Green of Christian Voice (a well-known pro-family group in the United Kingdom) visited our table and voiced his support for our activism!

Saturday, May 17 – Women’s conference in Nairobi

Pastor Steve and Edith told the conference attendees about the increasing dangers of the LGBT movement in Kenya. Pastor Benard talked about the LGBT agenda grooming children in the local schools through the Saturday programs. Many women at the conference were distraught by these revelations, and they cried out for Kenya MassResistance to schedule more meetings and attend more conferences.

Conclusion

ALT TEXTKenya MassResistance Teaching Tour - Conclusion

As bad as the radical agendas are in American schools, the LGBT movement is far more insidious in third-world countries.

In Kenya, most adults – even parents and public officials – are unaware that these Saturday “health” classes by foreign-funded NGOs teach children about sexually explicit themes and topics, including homosexuality and transgenderism. Rather than warning students to avoid these behaviors, they are encouraging students to embrace these so-called “identities.” They also teach children how to engage in destructive sexual acts and how to obtain abortions.

Pastor Benard and his terrific leadership team have been doing outstanding work going directly into schools, not only teaching children the truth but giving them the skills to resist and even confront these destructive agendas.

A big “thank you” goes to Pastor Steven Craft and his wife Edith for traveling to Kenya (at their own expense) to aid in this important cause.

Liberty Counsel, Supporting Restoration of Restorative Therapy

Arthur,

This lifestyle is life threatening

“Transgender” individuals have a suicide rate up to 20 times higher than the general population — and this suicidality rate also applies in Scandinavian countries, which are LGBTQ friendly. And roughly 40 percent of those who undergo mutilating surgeries commit suicide.

Christian counseling is critically necessary for gender confusion ... but the LGBTQ lobby has managed to get this lifesaving counseling BANNED in more than 100 cities and states nationwide. Liberty Counsel has managed to overturn 23 of those bans, however, 87 bans remain on the books.

This fall, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear Chiles v. Salazar to determine if governments may ban a certain type of counseling simply because it is Christian. Liberty Counsel submitted our brief to the U.S. Supreme Court last Friday. We filed the first challenge to the first law banning Christian counseling in California in 2012. And we won the first and only victories at the federal Court of Appeals striking down 23 such laws.

Christian change counseling SAVES LIVES. Help us overturn the bans with your gift today, and a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE your impact.

Testimony from our client David* illustrates why these bans must be overturned:

When I was 5 years old, I was sexually molested by a 16-year-old high school boy who was also my neighbor. The internalization of this abuse and having no therapist available affected my behavior and resulted in social ostracism. I had traumatic experiences in perceiving and feeling that I was not really a male child. When I reached puberty and for many years after it, I found myself sexually attracted to men because of my earlier abuse.

For all these years, I carried a feeling of immense and crushing shame for my same-sex attractions.

During a period of twenty years following puberty, I became clinically depressed twice, dealt with tremendous anxiety, experienced obsessive compulsive disorder and knew in my heart that I was very confused about my sexual orientation and gender identity. In the latter years of this twenty-year period, I found a course of treatment that truly helped me resolve the issues I had been experiencing.

The successful treatment that healed David is known as Christian change counseling or talk therapy. But nearly 90 cities and states across the nation continue to BAN this lifesaving counsel.

Truly a life and death situation … and the LGBTQ admits it!

Tragically, 41% of people who undergo hormones and surgeries later attempt suicide. That rate is 20 times higher than the general population.

Furthermore, the suicide rate among youths who practice homosexuality — even those who have not taken hormones or undergone surgeries — is more than four times the rate of the rest of society.

In fact, one-third of “gay” youths report attempting suicide as of 2021 — even in an age where homosexuality is celebrated on TV, in movies, and in modern American culture, including an entire month now dedicated to LGBTQ “pride”!

By the way, these devastating statistics are not coming from Christians but from LGBTQ sources via the National Transgender Discrimination Survey (NTDS) conducted by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the National Center for Transgender Equality, and the Trevor Project.

If the widely accepted LGBTQ lifestyle were truly happy and healthy, 30-40% of its participants would not be trying to kill themselves.

But even with this overwhelming evidence that the LGBTQ lifestyle is literally life threatening, the LGBTQ lobby has continued compelling cities and states to ban the one form of intervention shown to help gender confusion and unwanted same sex desires: Christian counseling.

Liberty Counsel began this fight 13 years ago in 2012. Although we lost the first two cases out of California and New Jersey, in 2015, the Supreme Court ruled on California’s law that forced our crisis pregnancy center clients to promote abortion. In that victory for free speech, the High Court abrogated these cases. This then led to our two victories at the federal Court of Appeals striking down change counsel bans in Florida.

Our two wins set up the conflict for the High Court to take this Colorado case. I pray by this time next year we will have a great win to finally end these dangerous laws.

Liberty Counsel is fighting to save lives as we battle these Christian change counseling bans. Please, fund the fight by supporting our legal fund. When you do, a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the impact of your donation. Please, give generously today.

And please, pray for the young men and women struggling to escape the LGBTQ’s transgender trap.

Trump, Reagan, and the Mantle of Providence

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich has a new book out titled Trump’s Triumph: America’s Greatest Comeback. In an interview with Mark Levin, Gingrich said that President Donald Trump has become “dramatically” more convinced that God saved his life - not once, but twice: once in Butler, Pennsylvania, and once on a golf course. Gingrich likened this Divine protection to that granted to President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II during the Cold War - a providential preservation to fulfill a mission of historic significance.1

President Reagan, who survived an assassination attempt by John Hinckley Jr. on March 30, 1981, wrote in his diary:

“Left Hilton at the usual side entrance, and suddenly there was a pop-pop and I felt a sharp pain in my upper chest. I was sure it was a rib cracked by the Secret Service man landing on me in the limo. I said, ‘I think you broke my rib,’ and he replied, ‘I think [Hinckley] broke more than that.’

“The pain wouldn’t go away, and suddenly I got a cold, sweaty feeling and knew I was going to faint. I still thought it was a broken rib, but maybe it had punctured a lung. They put me on a gurney and started running. I tried to joke: ‘I hope you’re all Republicans.’

“The doctor looked down at me and said, ‘Today, Mr. President, we’re all Republicans.’

“Getting shot hurts. Still, my fear was growing that I was going to pass out. I knew I couldn’t let that happen. I prayed for help - I realized I couldn’t ask for God’s help while at the same time I felt hatred for the mixed-up young man who had shot me. Isn’t that the meaning of the lost sheep?

“I began to pray for his soul and that he would find his way back to the fold.”

The following day, March 31, Reagan wrote:

“Whatever happens now, I owe my life to God and will try to serve Him in every way I can.”

Pope John Paul II had a remarkably similar reaction just 6 weeks later, after being shot in St. Peter’s Square on May 13, 1981. While recovering, he said, “One hand fired the shot, but another hand guided the bullet.” He later added, “In the designs of Providence, there are no mere coincidences.”

Reagan’s brush with death clarified his sense of calling [Greek: klesis; Hebrew: qara]: “I owe my life to God and will try to serve Him in every way I can.” That calling matured into a mantle [Hebrew: addereth] of leadership, reaching its apex on May 31, 1988, during his summit with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.

That day, Reagan delivered a historic address at Moscow State University, speaking to students and faculty about freedom, innovation, and the human spirit. He concluded with the words, “Thank you, and God bless you.” The reaction among Soviet officials - guardians of the state’s militant atheism - was stunned silence.

Igor Korchilov, Gorbachev’s interpreter, later remarked that Reagan’s benediction “rang like blasphemy” and seemed intended to crack “the impregnable edifice of Communist atheism.” It was a moment of spiritual defiance, a quiet assertion of divine authority in the heart of the godless empire.

In Donald Trump’s case, Gingrich reflected:

“I think it drove into Trump a belief that God had spared his life, and certainly at Butler, you cannot explain moving his head [at precisely] the right second not to get killed as anything less than Providential. And I think he honestly believes that he’s on a mission.”

So the question arises: what is that mission? The prophet Isaiah speaks to this in chapter 55 verse 8:

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the LORD.

Scripture is replete with examples of unbelievers - kings, governors, seers, and empires - used to fulfill God’s purposes. Time would fail us to recount all of them, but among them are:

• Cyrus [Isaiah 45:1]

• Pharaoh [Exodus 9:16]

• Nebuchadnezzar [Jeremiah 27:6; Daniel 4]

• Darius [Daniel 6]

• Balaam [Numbers 22-24]

• Caesar Augustus [Luke 2:1]

• Pontius Pilate [John 19]

God’s sovereignty extends over both the faithful and the unfaithful, sometimes using rebellion to demonstrate judgment, other times using even enemies to advance His redemptive plan.

This brings us to the recent riots in Los Angeles targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement [ICE] facilities. These were not spontaneous expressions of frustration. They reflect deeper ideological currents, more specifically, Marxist revolutionary strategy reshaping activist tactics across the country.

Just as mysterious pallets of bricks and projectiles appeared near Antifa and BLM parade routes in 2020, the question arises again: who is funding this? The violent confrontations at ICE sites and the orchestrated anti-enforcement marches [including those planned for Saturday, June 14] are textbook Marxist tactics.

The rhetoric from many of these groups is unmistakably revolutionary: calls to “abolish” rather than reform, to “overthrow” rather than vote, and to pursue “collective liberation” rather than defend individual liberty. Organizations like Antifa, the NO KINGS Coalition [nokings.org], and other far-left collectives are openly advocating the strategy of transforming immigration enforcement from a policy debate into a symbolic battle against capitalism and the rule of law.

The bigger question: do violent attacks on government agencies advance human rights, or do they destroy the foundation upon which human rights are protected? Historically, Marxist revolutions have not led to justice or flourishing but to repression and widespread suffering.

To perceive these riots for what they really are, we must name their ideological roots. These are not random or isolated incidents - they are organized acts of revolutionary violence disguised as social justice.

As the Prince of Preachers Charles Spurgeon once observed:

“Enemies help to keep the Lord’s servants awake. A lively, vexatious devil is less to be dreaded than a sleepy, forgetful spirit that is given to slumber.”

In short, American Christendom must awaken. The Church would be more noticeable, admirable, and powerful if it spoke boldly into cultural crises, especially when truth is under assault by Marxist ideology masquerading as virtue.

Fortunately, Gideons and Rahabs have begun to rise.
