 These Kenosha MassResistance parents are not shy or intimidated.

Part I of a series on the battle in Kenosha

Kenosha is a city in southeast Wisconsin, just north of Illinois on Lake Michigan. It recently became known for the horrible Black Lives Matter riot where Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself (and later was almost railroaded by a leftist prosecutor). It’s a fairly conservative area, though infiltrated with leftist politicians.

This past August 2023, some parents and activist citizens reached out to MassResistance requesting help. In particular, they were shocked and upset upon finding that the Kenosha Unified School District has a number of sexually explicit and obscene books in its libraries.

We immediately began working with them, and the new Wisconsin MassResistance chapter in Kenosha began to grow.

Libs of TikTok

Members of our Wisconsin team testified at the School Board meeting in late August, but were largely ignored.

So the team sent out a description of the books over social media. “Libs of TikTok” saw it and broadcast a full report of what the Kenosha Schools were giving to children.

The sudden national attention panicked the Kenosha school officials. The Superintendent quickly arranged for four of the books to be removed (though one of them was later brought back).

The MassResistance activists saw that they now had momentum.

September 2023 School Board meeting

The Wisconsin MassResistance team came back to the September School Board meeting more forceful than ever. They filled the room. They blasted the Board members for refusing to remove more of the pornography in the school libraries.

 Our people came and filled the room - overwhelming the leftist opposition!

Some local leftists – and members of the Kenosha Democratic Party – also came to defend the books and try and intimidate our people, but they were basically drowned out.

This time the parents’ outrage made the local newspaper, and the news reverberated across the region.

The Kenosha Democratic Party (and their “Forward Kenosha” allies) seem even more bizarre, dysfunctional, and perverted than typical leftists. In reaction to our concern for children, they posted a graphic bashing MassResistance and stating that they believe “students can understand themselves better by reading pornography and sexually explicit books.” What a sick viewpoint!

Meeting with the Superintendent and School Board president

This time MassResistance parents got the attention of their school officials! On October 5 the president of the School Board and Superintendent agreed to meet with MassResistance team members to discuss the situation.

At the meeting, our activists again described the repulsive nature of the books. One of them, a grandmother, mentioned a book “about kids getting molested by their father or grandfather.” But neither of the officials were at all moved by that. Neither would agree that any of it was pornographic. It was eerie.

Instead, the Superintendent talked about “a wide variety of viewpoints” and said he’s “not saying one is right and one is wrong.” He said, “We all want what’s best for kids, but we’re going to disagree on what’s best.” What a shocking statement from the district’s head educator!

The only solution offered by the Superintendent was for the parents to follow the district’s “policy” which involves submitting a form for each book they object to. He said that the School Board has set up a committee to review the forms and decide which books to keep, and which ones to remove.

Whenever the parents suggested that there might be issues or problems with that approach, the Superintendent just repeated that they must follow the policy. (Even when the parents asked him how he got the books removed so fast after the Libs of TikTok flareup, he claimed that he had followed that policy, though that didn’t seem credible.)

Then the School Board president added that if anyone gets too “unruly” at the meetings over the book issue, she will simply adjourn the meeting right away. In other words, be polite and orderly when discussing the school’s pornography.

The parents turn up the heat

After the meeting, our team of activists filed a flood of new book challenges. That apparently also got the officials’ attention! On November 3, the team was informed that more books have now been permanently removed from the school district!

This is the list of removed books so far:

• This Book Is Gay
• Gender Queer: A Memoir
• Let's Talk About It: The Teen's Guide to Sex, Relationships, and Being a Human
• Blue Is the Warmest Color
• Boy Toy
• Push
• The Carnival at Bray

All of these are depraved and obscene and have no place in the hands of children (or even adults, for that matter). For example, Push is about a sixteen-year-old girl whose father repeatedly rapes her.

It’s an impressive victory in a school system that didn’t want to remove anything. And the Wisconsin MassResistance chapter is just getting started!

Final thoughts

Kenosha has been a tough fight. But there’s a lot more we’ll be reporting!

Our Wisconsin team now has over 80 people. They are not going to settle for merely removing some bad books. They want clear policies passed to keep obscene materials out of the schools for good. Everything needs to be cleaned up!

The Superintendent said that the school librarians use two “journals” to select books from. Those “journals” and the publishers need to be scrapped from the school’s list.

But probably most important, the parents want the librarians and other staff – whoever brought those bad materials into the district and keeps them there – to be removed from their jobs. Those kinds of people should be nowhere near children. They should probably be in jail for corrupting minors.

California Republican Assembly Endorses Donald Trump for President and Eric Early for U.S. Senate

ELK GROVE, CA – The California Republican Assembly (CRA), a conservative Republican grassroots organization, held an endorsing convention on November 4 in Costa Mesa and endorsed Donald Trump for President of the United States and Eric Early for U.S. Senate. CRA is the oldest Republican volunteer organization in California that endorses Republican candidates.

Supporting Donald Trump is no longer the conservative option. He has denigrated the pro-life movement, he has doubled-down on the folly of locking down the country in 2020 because of COVID-19,

Under the bylaws of CRA, candidate endorsements require the support of two-thirds of the delegates at convention. Former President Donald Trump won the nearly unanimous support of the delegates on the first ballot. Attorney/business owner Eric Early won the support of 67.3% of the delegates on the second ballot.

CRA will be fully supporting both candidates in the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election.

School officials strongly resisted, but finally caved in to parents’ demands.

Officials also agreed to find out who brought the books in!

It’s difficult enough for parents to confront their local School Board over pornographic books. But taking on a corporation running online schools presents even bigger challenges. But our California MassResistance parents succeeded!

California Virtual Academies (CAVA) is a group of nine online public charter schools located across the state (Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Maricopa, San Diego, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Sonoma, and Sutter). The schools are entirely online, i.e., “virtual” schools.

CAVA schools get their online curricula from a national company in Virginia called Stride (formerly named K12). However, CAVA has some flexibility to decide what it uses and what it doesn’t.

Why enroll in a virtual school? Parents enroll their children in an online school such as CAVA for various reasons. For example: They are tired of the “woke” indoctrination and unreliable academics in the public schools. They move a lot and want consistent schooling. They have a child who is in the hospital or convalescing at home. Their child was being bullied at school. And during COVID it was a better alternative to their public school’s online experience.

Books pushing LGBT indoctrination

Last fall, a mother of a second-grader in a CAVA school contacted MassResistance. She was very distraught. She had noticed that many of her child’s online classes were readings from children’s books containing explicit and objectionable LGBT themes, gender ideology, and other radical topics. This was a clear attempt to normalize these behaviors and ideas to her child.

She also saw that CAVA’s online collection available to the students had MORE of these kinds of books.

 The mother found many more from CAVA's online book collection for second graders ...

And she noticed that LGBT themes and instruction (often using the books) seemed to be mixed in with several subjects throughout the school day.

Fighting back

When the mother contacted MassResistance for help, we got right to work. We helped her organize a small group of CAVA parents which soon began to grow. The virtual setting and corporate backing brought new challenges. We began investigating ways for the parents to force changes.

We noticed that the CAVA administration held virtual “coffee” Zoom sessions for parents. That seemed like a good place to start, so the MassResistance parents began attending. They brought up the perverted and objectionable nature of the curriculum and demanded it be cleaned up.

That certainly wasn’t what the local CAVA administrators wanted to discuss, and they reacted with hostility, attempting to deflect and curtail that criticism. The parents were told to “give their phone number and be contacted later” or “use the link to provide feedback.” But complaints submitted that way were dismissed or ignored.

The parents persisted. More conservative parents shared their comments and their email addresses in the chat areas during the sessions. So the local administrators reacted by disabling the chat of the “troublemakers,” shunned them, and told them they needed to address the “policy makers” in the company instead.

Taking it to the corporate level

So the parents began working their way up the ladder. They began complaining directly to CAVA officials in the statewide office. To justify the books, the CAVA officials used a common technique by leftist educators: They told the parents that CAVA needed to include this LGBT material for second graders to conform to the California Social Studies Frameworks. However, MassResistance informed them that the “Frameworks” are merely a recommendation based on the actual required Social Studies Standards – which do not mention LGBT issues at all.

Parents flooded CAVA’s head administrator with phone calls and long descriptive complaints. We also considered filing complaints to the California charter school licensing authorities.

From there, the parents contacted Stride’s national corporate offices. They submitted lots of feedback on the Stride website. They complained bitterly to Stride’s Director of Curriculum. All this began to get attention higher up the corporate ladder. The corporate leadership could see that the parents weren’t quitting.

And finally success!

Eventually, a Stride VP got involved and agreed to work with the statewide CAVA VP to make changes to respect the various cultural backgrounds, family values, and religious beliefs of all the parents, not just a few leftists.

Within months, CAVA removed ALL the inappropriate books! They also created a committee to investigate who purchased them and to analyze the curriculum.

Final thoughts

This email to MassResistance from the mother who first contacted us says it all:

Thank you to the whole MR team for the amazing and so needed work you do on a daily basis.

I will be forever grateful for the support my family received when our son started encountering indoctrination at California Virtual Academy. Other groups and church leaders to which we reached out did nothing and simply encouraged us to homeschool.

Thanks to MR's guidance and the participation that you had attending those meetings and speaking up against their practices, it has stopped. They removed those inappropriate and graphic books. CAVA's VP started an investigation to identify who purchased those titles and who made them available to children.

Reality check. The drivers of culture are not political influencers, personalities, pundits, or commentators. Politics is downstream from culture. 

All of these Magadonian pontificators can be summed up in one word: grifters.

They are all in on making money off the decline and fall of our culture. They remind me of those who sit "in the seat of the scornful," detailing and railing against the moral collapse that is becoming our country.

But they don't do anything about it, and they don't really care about doing anything about it. Just cut a video, sell some t-shirts, go to a nice party, preen for the cameras, and that's it.

The culture drivers in America 2023 are the following institutions almost entirely captured by the Left:

- Silicon Valley

- Hollywood

- Woke Corporations

- Top Universities

And a dishonorable mention to the Chinese Communist Party for their successful influence operations in all of the above.

Christopher Rufo, Pedro Gonzales, and to a greater extent former commentators Murray Rothbard and Samuel Francis have pointed out repeatedly that conservatives need to take back the culture, win back the institutions. It's not enough to win elections, only to slow the decline. It's not enough to manage the abusive managerial state more efficiently, or with less west.

If you don’t acknowledge this reality, you are not serious about wielding power to recapture ground from the left and bring captured institutions to heel. No amount of tweets or cocktail parties will fix that.

I am really glad she has called out the grifter-trendsetter set of Magadonians over this. We need serious legislators, real policymakers who want to win back our country, not just score a few election victories down the line.

For this reason, among many, I am supporting Governor Ron DeSantis for President.

Today, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene issued a statement on her support for Israel, their statehood, and the right to defend themselves in the manner they choose and why she ultimately voted no to tonight's aid package to Israel, unapologetically demanding America’s border be Congress's first priority.

While Congresswoman Greene voted no on this particular aid package, the Congresswoman is proud to have a history of voting to fund Israel's Iron Dome and other defense systems. That's why the Congresswoman urges the Senate to take up the House's already passed Defense and State and Foreign Ops bills which already contain $3.8 billion for Israel. As soon as Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats take up these bills and send them to the White House, Joe Biden can sign them into law.

Today I took a hard vote as a Christian who supports Israel.

I voted no to the additional funding to Israel's defense.

This comes after the Republican controlled House voted for $3.8 billion for Israel's defense, weapons and replenishment of the Iron Dome.

This $3.8 billion is sitting on Chuck Schumer's desk. And he and the Democrats in the Senate.\

Mitch McConnell, the Majority Leader in the Senate for Republicans refused to pass this bill these bills $3.8 billion that could go directly to Israel's defense.

You see, the reason why I voted no today and not that I'll always be a no for Israel's defense is because I'm unapologetically America first.

And today in America, we have an open border driven national security crisis.

This is something we've never seen before.

Tragically over in Israel on the first day when Hamas horrifically attacked innocent Israeli citizens.

They killed approximately 1400 innocent women, children, babies, elderly people, people that were just going about their day.

But here in America every single day 300 Americans are murdered by cartel Chinese fentanyl that comes across our border because of the Biden administration's open border policies.

300 Then 600 Then 900 1200 1500 That's just in five days, but this never stops. There is no ceasefire for fentanyl.

There is no stop to it 300 Americans every single day.

You see we have to put our country first we have to put Americans first.

I stand with Israel and I cannot explain how much I support them.

I support Israel.

I support their defense and I support their statehood.

But I want to see America's government, our federal government, our elected office holders put the hard working American taxpayer American citizens America's border.

First for once.

People all over this country are suffering.

The people in Lahaina the people in East Palestine.

Our government never helps Americans.

They always put Americans last while they prioritize foreign wars and foreign borders, and then explain and explain why more billions and billions of dollars must be sent overseas to defend these country's borders.

Love, no one ever defends America's border, and our government certainly doesn't do it.

This has to end this is a cycle of America last policies that must end in Washington DC, because we are living in dangerous times.

Just in the past two and a half years when Joe Biden took office, the Biden administration has allowed over 10 million people to cross our border.

There is over 1.8 million got aways and right now US intelligence is warning that a terrorist attack could happen any any day at any time here on our own homeland.

We are on the verge of our own war within our own country. Because we have no idea how many terrorists are on our own land.

I'm against the foreign policy decisions that always prioritize other country's borders before our own border.

And again, I want to express that I solidly stand with Israel's defense.

I solidly stand with the Israeli citizens and I solidly support Israeli statehood.

You see the Biden administration has done everything to dismantle peace in the Middle East.

They took away President Trump's strong pro Israel strong peace policy policies that brought peace to that entire region for the first time in decades.

The Biden administration wants to control how the funding and how the how our military defense weapons are used for Israel's defense.

And this is something that we cannot allow to happen.

It will never matter how much money we give to Israel when Biden gets to dictate the terms.

Joe Biden is demanding a ceasefire.

They will demand this of Israel and not allowed Israel to defend their own country.

Joe Biden will demand to keep humanity humanitarian aid open in certain paths and not let Israel Stop it while they are being continually attacked by Hamas and Hezbollah.

They will We'll also tell Israel no preemptive strikes on Hezbollah, while Hezbollah is already firing rockets into Israel.

You see, if we just go ahead and fund this and send this money over to the Senate, and allow the Senate and the White House VIP take the terms for Israel, it will not ever help Israel the way Israel needs help.

It needs to defend themselves. Israel is a sovereign nation, they need to dictate their own terms.

They need to dictate their own defense.

And that's how I support Israel.

Today, I'm supporting America, and I'm supporting America's border.

This was a hard vote, I want to send as much helped Israel as possible.

And one day I may vote to do that, if that day arises.

But I'm urging all of my colleagues I'm urging everyone here in Washington, DC, to take very seriously for once our own national security crisis and the danger that our entire country is in from the open border policies of the Biden Administration.

Election 2024: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for President

 

I understand that Donald Trump did some good stuff during his 4 years in office. Sure, we had a strong economy and we were energy independent. Yes, he appointed 3 new Supreme Court justices, And they repealed Roe v. Wade. But in the last two years he has denigrated the pro-life movement, and his Supreme Court justices have not been as conservatives as they should have been. Besides, there is more to conservatism than low taxes and cheap gas.

And you know what? There's a lot of stuff that he didn't complete, including the border wall, ending the birthright citizenship fraud, and cracking down on The Swamp. And there's some stuff that he started that was bad, like supporting the LGBT agenda, undermining Second Amendment protections, and increasing the national debt by $7.2 trillion.

Sure, he kept us out of more foreign wars, but he didn't get our troops out of Afghanistan. When crime was breaking out across the country, he posed for photos and tweeted "LAW AND ORDER!' Trump surrounded himself with sycophants who flattered him, then undermind him at every turn. He has still not learned the lesson that personnel is policy! He still calls RINO Lindsey Graham a friend.

We need a president who will make promises and keep them, and who is not afraid to take the lead and do what is right even when everybody else says that it's wrong. We need a president who is not afraid to use executive power and accomplish good ends. We need a president who has a record of success not just for himself, but for helping other Republicans and other good people getting elected. We need a president who has a broad vision not just to make America great again for four years, but who will restore America's greatness and attachment to our foundational beliefs and fundamental principles for years to come.

And above all we need somebody who has stood up completely to the health care-police state that was imposed upon us because of COVID-19.

And that is why I support Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for President!
