Quittin' Cliff Numark Violated Health Freedom, Imposed Vaccine Mandates

Cliff Numark broke his commitment to the city of Torrance. He ran for city council, then abandoned the seat when he was elected to the El Camino College Board.

Then, on the college board of trustees, he had no problem violating the United States Constitution, the Nuremberg Code, and the common law traditions on which our country was founded.

As a member of the El Camino College Board of Trustees, he supported forcing students to be jabbed to enroll in classes.

The El Camino College Board of Trustees has approved and adopted a new vaccination mandate for all students and employees.

During the Sept. 7 Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting, El Camino College (ECC) President Brenda Thames along with all other BOT members have discussed questions and concerns about what the vaccine mandate will do to all individuals related to ECC.

And what were his thoughts on it?

Although there are concerns about the future of the college, something that the BOT and President Thames are focusing on is the health and safety of the ECC community.

“This is consistent with what many other colleges are doing and there’s a bottom-line issue, this will save lives. Period. End of story,” Trustee Cliff Numark said.

We don't need another micromanager on the Torrance City Council, one who ignores the research, statistics, and science when it comes to illnesses, vaccines, and health choice.

How many tens of thousands of people have died because of this experimental shot? Why would anyone want to deprive students of the opportunity to earn a degree, to learn a trade simply because they would not take a suspicious shot in the arm to stop an overblown virus?

Quittin' Cliff is wrong for Torrance.

Let's not forget the COVID-19 tyranny that the world, and specifically California, had to endure for the last two years.

Numark would be ready to lock down the entire city if there was a hint of COVID-19 issues, some other disease, or some other "crisis."

Yikes! Mike Likes Tax Hikes

Councilman Mike Griffiths.

He has been involved in Torrance politics for more than twenty years. Once can go back as far as 2005, when he was seeking to be appointed to a vacant city council seat. He has served a number of times on the environmental and planning commission, too.

Yes, he is very much a part and parcel of the Torrance Way of politics in this town.

And apparently, it has all gotten to his head.

He has a serious attitude problem, to put in mildly: he thinks that he is entitled to his seat on the city council, and that he should be the next mayor.

The truth is that he did not decide against running for mayor because of a death in the family. The truth is that Councilman George Chen has a better following and more political capital in the city than he does.

And is anyone surprised?

Mike Griffiths dragged his feet on supporting a Resolution of No Confidence in George Gascon. His arrogant demeanor with me (and others, no doubt) regarding this matter is just too much to ignore. Like many Torrance politicians who have been part of the establishment for so long, he uses the voters, then refuses to listen to them.

That kind of arrogance hurt him, especially if you visit his Facebook page. People give him a hard time for not supporting the resolution.

But worse than that, rumors persisted out of city hall that Mike wanted to impose a vaccine mandate on all city employees! He had no problem with violating people's health freedom, their bodily autonomy, and for what?

The vaccine was experimental at best, and many people suffered terrible adverse side effects from the shot. Why would anyone want to push for a violation of people's health integrity?

And of course, like the majority of the current city council, Mike likes the tax hikes.

He wants to raise the city sales tax because he is too lazy or too beholden to the "establishment" in the city of Torrance to think outside the box and come up with more innovative ways to save money and bring in revenue to the city.

Mike likes tax hikes, and for that, the voters should tell him to take a hike regarding his bid for city treasurer.

After months of foot-dragging by their School Board, a group of MassResistance parents in Madison County, Mississippi forced the middle school Principal to take action on extreme pornographic books in the school library. Led by a local mother, parents throughout the community rallied against this outrage.

Several books were immediately removed from circulation pending a full review. And the Principal drastically changed the policy on handling book challenges by parents.

The books, which are in schools throughout the county, sickened many parents. They include descriptions of anal rape of a child, bloody suicide, children masturbating, a mother being raped, and other disturbing scenes. “Looking through these books is so dark, so upsetting – it’s the last thing one would want any child to be reading. How can these books be there?” asked one mother of a child in the middle school.

Months of ignoring the parents

In December 2021, a group of parents addressed the Madison County (Mississippi) School Board with a list of books in the school system libraries that had extremely objectionable and disturbing sexual, homosexual, racist, and anti-American content. As they displayed the list of books at the meeting, the parents implored the Board to remove them from circulation.

 At the School Board meetings the parents displayed a list of the books for all the members to see.

In January 2022, the parents came back, but the Board had done nothing.

In February, the Board said they “would review the books” but had no plans of quarantining the books while under review.

At the March School Board meeting, they said the books are “still under review” but they “need more time.” The books were still on the shelves for the children to check out. The parents were clearly being ignored.

MassResistance gets involved – things start happening!

In early February, the group teamed up with MassResistance. By late March, the MassResistance parent group was ready for a higher level of action.

At the April 4 School Board meeting, the MassResistance parents confronted the Board members about why they had not done anything. One of the mothers read aloud passages from one of the books, “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” by Sherman Alexie:

Yup, that’s right. I masturbate. I’m proud of it. I’m good at it. I’m ambidextrous. If there were a professional masturbators week, I would win and make millions of dollars. Maybe you’re thinking, “you really shouldn’t be talking about masturbation in public.” Well, I’m going to talk about it everywhere. If God hadn’t wanted us to masturbate, then God wouldn’t have given us thumbs…

“I love that tree,” I said.
“That’s because you’re a tree fag.”
“I’m not a tree fag.”
“Then how come you like to stick your dick inside the knot-holes?”
“I stick my dick in a girl tree!”

The Board members said nothing in reaction. But the looks on their faces showed that they realized that this Mississippi community was not going to stand for it.

Two days later, on April 6, the group posted on social media pages from another of the books, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This particular book was in the middle school library. It includes the sodomizing of a boy by a man, the rape of a mother, and a bloody suicide of a father, among other horrific episodes. Parents who saw the excerpts were sickened.

Page 7: Mother is raped. The novel opens with a recount of the rape of a boy's mother. The soldier describes her "surgary c**t."

Page 75 - Boy is raped. Two pre-teen boys are told to hold down another boy while he is raped by a 17-year-old.

Page 78 - Boy bleeds from rectum. The aftermath of the rape describes the "dark stain in the seat of his pants" and the "tiny drops that fell from between his legs and stained the snow black." The boy is bleeding from his rectum.

Page 124 - Father shoots himself. A father finds his dead son and decides to commit suicide by placing the barrel of a gun into his own mouth and blowing his brains out.

When people in the community saw this, hundreds commented and shared it. Many contacted their public officials. The middle school began getting phone calls. The School Board members received emails.

Two days after that, on April 8, the school system relented. The middle school Principal sent the following message to the community:

The parents had made the difference! The job still needs to be finished, but the public officials finally got the message, and now the parents have the momentum.

Final thoughts: Fighting the “groomers” in their midst

As the lead mother told a local radio show, there is also some reaction on social media that is truly frightening. There are “groomer moms” in the community who are angry that these books are coming off the shelves. They are defending this disgusting pornography in the children’s library. They want this material to be available for kids. One mother who is a Girl Scout troop leader said she wanted to see the list so she would know which books to go and buy for her children. (And we’ve seen that same thing across the country. These people seem demonic.)

The MassResistance mother continued:

Why is talking sexually in the workplace considered sexual harassment to adults, but talking sexually to children in elementary school considered “essential” to liberals? These people want to normalize sexuality in children and pedophilia as soon as they can.

And as we’ve observed before, there is a larger problem in the schools that must be addressed. Normal people would not bring books like these into any school or allow them to stay there. It pains us to say that around the country, sexual deviants have been attracted to and – recruited by – public schools and libraries. So while many books should be removed, the adults who oversaw their inclusion should be fired. Otherwise, this abuse will continue in one form or another.

Election 2022 Sales Tax Scam: The City of Torrance Has Enough Reserves

On March 21, 2022, I wrote to Torrance City Manager Aram Chaparyan regarding the state of the city's finances. I was aware that the city reserves had drastically reduced to $500,000, in large part because previous city councils had continued to spend money that the city simply did not have.

The city manager responded:

$22.6 Million!

The city is no longer in financial arrears!

There is NO NEED for a sales tax increase. NONE!

With the most realistic projections considered, the city will have a reserve of $36,277,155!

That's a considerable amount of money on hand for the city!

So, in other words, the city of Torrance does not need to raise the sales tax. The argument that Los Angeles County might want to raise the sales tax is a hollow scare tactic at best. Los Angeles Unified tried to raise the property tax rates four years ago, and that effort failed massively.

The Board of Supervisors cannot muster the political capital to force up sales tax rates in the first place, since so many Los Angeles County residents are struggling from paycheck to paycheck as it is.

There is no reason to raise up the sales tax. What it really amounts to is that a majority on the city council is too lazy, too incompetent, or just plain indifferent to the needs of the residents in the city, and would rather gouge taxpayers instead of offering creative solutions to increase revenue.

Say NO to any sales tax increase!

Just as there are creepy teachers indoctrinating and poisoning the minds of unwilling or unwitting students in the classroom (who are a captive audience, and therefore cannot avoid the indoctrination), there are creepy, perverted activists who want to groom children to be harmed, abused, exploited by this LGBT agenda.

Transgenderism is a mental illness. Children who struggle with gender dysphoria need help, not more enabling to be abused. Karen thinks it's great for children to be abused.

The only context that matters is that she is sick, demented, disturbed, and quite a cyberbully. Of course, like all LGBT bigots, she loves to play victim: all while victimizing others, of course.

I guess I live in her head rent-free. There must be a great deal of space up there, since the only things she obssesses on are how to destroy children, how to pervert society, and how to abolish any form of law enforcement.

At the Torrance School Board meeting, she was determined to make sexual exploitation and abuse of children acceptable, calling it "diversity, tolerance, inclusion, etc."

Notice that her shirt was not visible during her public comment before the Torrance School Board. She is so ashamed of her own child-hatred, that she didn't want the school board members to see her shirt.

Why are sick people like this allowed in public forums like school boards? What would parents think if someone like this walked into the meeting, advertising the promotion of gender mutilation onto children?

If you see Jenna McKee near a school or a student, tell her to get away as soon as possible. Make a loud scene if necessary. She should be exposed, shamed, and excoriated from the public because of her vile hatred of children, biology, and the natural facts of marriage, life, and family.

MassResistance helps Hawaii parents stop terrible anti-family bills in State Legislature

Bills that would (1) push extreme LGBT agenda in schools and (2) criminally punish parents who complain

Plus a bizarre pro-LGBT school resolution dies in the Hawaii House of Representatives

The right strategies from MassResistance made the difference, says local leader!

 There were continuous protests by parents in downtown Honolulu near the State Capitol.

Two of the most radical bills we’ve ever seen were introduced in the Hawaii legislature this past January. Quickly gaining momentum, both quietly passed in the House in early March. They needed to be stopped in the State Senate!

• Bill HB 1697 would have required public schools to teach children that homosexuality, transgenderism, etc., are normal and positive behaviors. Schools must “destigmatize” and include “positive representations” of “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, other sexual orientation and gender identities.”
  
  It would also have required the Hawaii Department of Education (DOE) to train teachers how to instruct children on LGBT topics.
• Bill HB 2125 would have criminalized parents who complain to teachers or their School Board. Its intent was to silence parents who object to Critical Race Theory, graphic LGBT topics, Covid mask requirements for children, etc. It would have created a new criminal offense: “Harassment of an education worker” with punishments of fines and jail time.

It would have dovetailed with existing statutes to include “harassing or insulting electronic communications.” Thus, sending “insulting” emails to your School Board member (or posting criticisms on social media) could get a parent in legal trouble.

These bills were heavily pushed by the Hawaii Department of Education, other leftist government agencies, special interest groups, various radical teachers, and left-wing activists.

Outrage across the state – parents organize

The outrage against these bills across the state was fierce. Two parents, Art and Peggy, formed a fast-growing statewide group, Fathers and Mothers for Children, to mobilize people against these two bills.

On March 7, 2022, the group held a rally against HB 1697 at the Hawaii State Capitol in Honolulu. Over 100 people attended. It was a rousing event, and included speeches by prominent pro-family leaders and a State Representative.

A week later, on March 14, the group organized a march through the streets of Honolulu to the State Capitol. Hundreds of people participated. When they reached the Capitol, there was another rally with several local speakers.

They continued holding protests every few days.

MassResistance gets involved

MassResistance is no stranger to Hawaii. Back in 2009, we helped stop a “civil unions” bill in the Hawaii Senate. (Even the Boston “gay” newspaper complained about MassResistance’s involvement there!)

In 2013, MassResistance worked with Hawaii activists in a huge battle to attempt to stop “gay marriage” from being imposed by the Legislature.

We are still in touch with many of the activists we worked with back then. So on March 10, 2022, one of them – Susan – contacted us for some strategic help.

After studying the situation, including the fact that both bills were now in the State Senate, we advised Susan that the group should immediately: (1) get politicians who are currently running for office to show up and publicly support the parents; and (2) target the districts of the Senators who are pushing the bad bills.

They took our advice. Here’s what Susan told us on March 25:

We used those two suggestions. We got politicians involved and I think that is what helped get the word out to a larger group. Candidates running for office did come and they participated in our events. We had a candidate for Governor and a very popular candidate for Lt. Governor show up and both spoke. And we singled out three districts that we targeted for rallies and sign waving.

Victory: Both bills were stopped in the Senate!

And everyone’s hard work paid off! On March 24, both bills failed to move forward in the Senate and are now dead. It happened very quietly. The parents had to call the Capitol to get the official word. “I imagine that there will be efforts to resurrect these bills next year but we'll be watching,” Susan told us.

A bizarre House resolution also dies

There was also a bizarre resolution in the House of Representatives that almost passed. It had no legal implications, but it still promoted a very dangerous policy.

HCR 138 stated that Hawaii’s “educational materials and practices do not reflect the range of gender expressions and sexual identities that exist” and that “teachers do not understand diverse gender and sexual orientations.”

Therefore, to fix this “problem” the resolution requested that the Hawaii Department of Education create a “student-led working group” to find ways to push LGBT subjects more directly in Hawaii’s schools. That would include “peer to peer sexual health” – which usually means homosexuals grooming other children.

Since the House had earlier passed the two anti-family bills, our side was not confident we could stop this, either. But it seems that the resolution got tripped up by the growing parental outrage. Though it had already passed one House committee, on April 1 it quietly died in another House committee.

Final thoughts

A big contribution that MassResistance makes around the country is to help parents with an aggressive and effective strategy to achieve their goals. Most parents have a lot of great energy for fighting the Left’s horrible attacks on their children, but little experience in the right way to go about it. The Left usually comes in with a wealth of experience and tactics. We help to bridge that gap!

PJI Wins Settlement for Santa Clara County Churches

 

Hello Arthur,   SAN JOSE, Calif.— Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) secured a six-figure damage award this month for five churches that were forcefully shut down by Santa Clara County’s COVID-19 public health orders. On February 26, 2021, the U.S. Supreme Court had granted PJI’s emergency writ of injunction in a 6-3 decision, ordering that the churches are allowed to open their doors to hold indoor worship services. The Supreme Court agreed with PJI that the County’s orders discriminated against churches by treating establishments such as grocery stores and airports more favorably.
