Kelli Ward: Stand up to McSally and the DC Swamp

Arthur,
According to the latest news reports, the caravan of immigrants marching through Mexico have no plans to stop.
And they’re heading straight for the U.S. border.
Fortunately, President Donald Trump is sending troops to guard the border.
But the President shouldn’t have to send troops down to guard our border.
The American people elected Republicans to build the wall and put an end to the illegal immigration crisis facing our nation.
But Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan and the Washington establishment refuse to heed to the will of voters and secure our border.
Enough is enough.
That’s why I’m counting on your support for my campaign for U.S. Senate in Arizona.
Arthur, my establishment-backed opponent, Martha McSally, likes to joke about building a wall between Arizona and California . . .
. . . while REFUSING to fund Trump’s border wall.
Of course, it’s not just McSally’s opposition to Trump’s border wall that the establishment is desperate to hide from voters.
The truth is, there’s nothing conservative at all about Martha McSally or her voting record.
In fact, she’s worse than Jeff Flake on the critical issues that matter most to conservatives.
Critical issues like illegal immigration and securing our borders.
Critical issues like balancing the budget and cutting back government spending.
Critical issues like individual liberty, free markets and constitutional government.
And when it comes to our family values, Martha McSally’s record might even be worse.
Conservative Review gave her an “F” rating for family values.
With Arizona in the national spotlight, voters are waking up to the fact that Martha McSally is nothing more than a "campaign conservative" who votes with McConnell and the elites in Washington.
But McConnell and his cronies are pouring millions of dollars into Arizona to try hide Martha McSally’s liberal record from conservative voters.
They’re attacking me viciously in the press, on TV and on the radio.
I need your help to sound the alarm and get the truth out to voters far and wide.
So please, chip in a donation of $500, $250, $150, $100, $75, $50, $35 or $25 to my campaign to help me fight back against McConnell and his thugs.
Of course, if that’s too much, please consider chipping in $5, $10 or $15 to let me know you’ve got my back in this all-out war against the establishment.
Every dollar you donate helps and will go directly toward our program to get the truth out to voters about Martha McSally.
So Arthur, please stand with me today by chipping in a generous donation to my campaign to help me get to Washington and fight for Trump’s America First Immigration policies.
Thank you in advance for standing with me.
I appreciate your support.

Together for victory,

Dr. Kelli Ward
Conservative Candidate for U.S. Senate

I Endorse Kelli Ward for US Senate

Don't get me wrong. I think that Sheriff Joe Arpaio has done great work for Maricopa County, Arizona as well as the rest of the country. His tough approach to crime did great things for the county and set a standard around the country to fight against rampant lawlessness, including illegal immigration.

The trumped-up charges against him during an election year were unfair. But we also need to recognize that his voter share had been diminishing considerably from term to term. Then again, the fact that illegal aliens were able to register voters to push out Arpaio in 2016 is beyond unconscionable.

So, Election 2018 is upon us, and the Arizona Republican Party is looking at a very bitter, fractious primary. The conservative favorite going into the US Senate race to replace Jeff Flake was former State Senator Kelli Ward. She has legislative experience, and she is an outspoken Trump supporter. She wants to put an end to illegal immigration, and she is not afraid to honor the loss of loved ones to illegal aliens.

Kelli Ward has a stronger ground game, too, since she ran a strong campaign against John McCain in 2016, forcing him to this lowest primary win in his entire career. She is the favorite to replace Jeff the Flake. Unfortunately, with Sheriff Joe Arpaio in the race, the conservative vote is split, which will enable Martha McSally to win the nomination. Some sources have indicated that her vote will be a lot like Joni Ernest. She will demonstrate a tepid opposition to illegal immigration, but won't do anything substantive. On the other hand, critics have pointed out that McCain and Flake are her mentors. She has a lower liberty score than Flake!

We need Kelli Ward. She is the best candidate to win the primary and the general election against the radical leftist Kyrsten Sinema. Her outreach to grassroots activists is commendable, too. US Senator Rand Paul has endorsed her!

Check out her remarks at the Patriot Rally below:

She is a such a threat to the political establishment, that Karl Rove minions are tracking her. I confronted one of them at the event:

During her speech, Ward outlined why McSally was not the right pick for US Senate, even if Washington DC power brokers were getting behind her to replace Jeff Flake:

As for Sheriff Joe Arpaio ...

He can still light up a crowd. The voters, the activists, the grassroots like him.

But they do not seem him as the right vote for the seat. He has pledged to serve only one term, and to do what is right, regardless of any pressure from lobbyists or influence peddlers in Washington DC.

Check out his full remarks below:

He is bold and brash, and was one of the first elected officials to get behind Donald Trump before such actions were considered politically expedient.

Yet he lost his latest election, and despite a well-deserved pardon issued by President Trump against the federal contempt charge, Arpaio now has that unjust baggage hanging around him. On top of that, you can notice in his comments that his message wanders a great deal. One supporter commented to me that his handlers had to ease him from one section of the park to the other.

At this time. Arpaio is 85 years old, going on 86. He is too frail at his point.

I am all for Kelli Ward, and I encourage all Arizona voters to get behind her to take down Kyrsten Sinema in the general election.

Question: If these illegal DACA were to be arrested and charged for the "take over" of congress members' offices, wouldn't that be a lawbreaking act that would result in their DACA status being revoked?

DACA TAKING OVER CONGRESS MEMBERS' OFFICES

United We Dream, funded via a George Soros nonprofit, is promoting the "taking over" of congress members'offices to demand passage of a DREAM Act.  Below is a United We Dream press release about DACA recipients taking over the Republican Congress Members' offices of Bob Goodlatte, Martha McSally, Michael McCaul and Raul Labrador. These congress members are in support of legislation that would fund the wall, end chain migration, increase the number of border patrol agents and grant DACA legal status. THE PROTESTERS HELD POSTERS WITH PHOTOS OF EACH CONGRESS MEMBER WITH THE WORDS "DREAM KILLER" UNDERNEATH THE PHOTOS.

PLEASE CALL THE CONGRESS MEMBERS, whose offices were taken over by DACA recipients, AND TELL THEM NO DACA AMNESTY HELP AMERICANS!  Click on the link to the congress members' websites to view their home districts. If it's after business hours, leave a voice mail message.

Youth Tell Republicans: “Stop Being Dream Killers, Pass the Dream Act Now”
For Immediate Release
Contact: Sheridan Aguirre | sheridan@unitedwedream.org | 202.793.2267
Washington, D.C. – Today, immigrant youth from North Carolina, California, Texas and Washington state returned to Capitol Hill to take over the offices of Republican Reps. Bob Goodlatte (VA), Michael McCaul (TX), Raúl Labrador (ID), and Martha McSally (AZ)to brand them as Dream Killers: obstructionists of the Dream Act who are allowing immigrant youth to become targets for deportation.

Dream Killers Goodlatte, McCaul, Labrador, and McSally introduced legislation early this week which uses temporary legal status to immigrant youth to cut family-based migration and the diversity visa program. Today’s action came as immigrant youth and activist Alyssa Milano visited the offices of four Republican House Members in California while angry Trump supporters tried to shout them down and yelled “white power!” (NOTE: Citizens for enforcing immigration law counter rallied the United We Dream DACA bus tour in Orange County, CA. At no time did anyone yell, "white power." Of course there is no video of this because it did not happen. United We Dream is publishing lies!)

United We Dream members nationwide are calling out the Republican Dream Killers who are working against the Dream Act both online and at their offices.

Deya Aldana, United We Dream organizer and potential beneficiary of the Dream Act:

“Republicans are standing in the way of the Dream Act, so we marched back up to Capitol Hill to takeover the offices of Representatives Goodlatte, McCaul, Labrador, and McSally to demand they stop their obstructionism and pass the Dream Act by January 19.

“The clock is ticking and with each passing day, immigrant youth who immigrated to this country as minors are losing their livelihood.

“Today we made it clear that we will not jeopardize our parents or other immigrant communities in order to live our lives with safety. We won’t back down — it’s on Congress to deliver the bipartisan Dream Act with a pathway to full citizenship by January 19th.”

Jonathan Zapeta, undocumented youth member at United We Dream – Houston, said:

“When I was in Dream Killer McCaul’s office, I looked around the room and saw McCaul’s pride for Texans, but what everyone needs to know is that his enforcement heavy approach only serves to replicate the same atmosphere of fear and surveillance that our community members in the Rio Grande Valley face under the constant watch of Border Patrol and ICE.

“We won’t throw our communities under the bus and we don’t want second class citizenship. On January 19th, Congress needs to do what is right and pass the Dream Act without hurting other communities.”

House Immigration Bill "Securing America's Future Act": The Good and The Bad

Congressman Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) released the following press release in anticipation of his signature legislation dealing with the immigration problems affecting our country.

I will be adding my comments about what is good--and what is bad with this legislation.

There are the steps which need to be taken to ensure that Congress and the President sign off on legislation that is good for the American people, not for illegal aliens or another group.

The borders are not secure, the laws seldom enforced. Our bill would change that.

This article is signed by Reps. Bob Goodlatte, Michael McCaul, Raul Labrador and Martha McSally.

For far too long, America’s immigration system has been in shambles. The borders are not secure and laws are seldom enforced. This dysfunction allows drug smugglers to creep into the U.S. and exacerbate the opioid epidemic. It provides human traffickers the opportunity to exploit forced labor for profit, invites transnational gangs like MS-13 to inflict violence on American neighborhoods, and offers terrorists a way into the country.

Check, check, check. All of these issues are of grave concern for the body politick in this country. We need a pro-American immigration policy.

In a time when America’s enemies are seeking new ways to strike the homeland, a failed immigration system is unacceptable. On Wednesday we will introduce legislation in the House to strengthen the border and enhance interior enforcements, making America more secure.

Enforcement, enforcement, enforcement all the way!

A priority of our legislation is to increase the security of the southern border. Our bill would provide $30 billion to build a wall, to invest in new technology, and to improve, modernize and expand ports of entry. It would add boots on the ground: an additional 5,000 Border Patrol agents and 5,000 Customs and Border Protection officers. It would provide for the construction of additional ports of entry and a full implementation of the biometric entry-exit system, while authorizing the National Guard to provide aviation and intelligence support.

$30 Billion is just what we need. That kind of money is more than enough.

Even once the border is secure, immigration law requires significant changes to bring illegal immigration fully under control. Almost half of illegal aliens entered the U.S. legally on tourist and other short-term visas and simply never left. We must turn off the irresistible “jobs magnet” and ensure that immigration laws are effectively enforced within the U.S.

VISA overstays are a huge problem. A big reason why the World Trade Center is gone.

Our bill would achieve these goals by cracking down on people who overstay their visas, by requiring employers to use the accurate and hugely successful E-Verify system to ensure that they hire only legal workers, and by making it easier to deport aliens who are gang members, who are aggravated felons, who fail to register as sex offenders, or who have multiple DUIs.'

Aren't these provisions already law, though?

Our bill would put an end to chain migration, the process by which citizens and green-card holders can sponsor extended family members for their own green cards (who in turn can eventually sponsor their own extended family members, ad infinitum). It also would stop the Diversity Visa program, which awards green cards by random lottery to people with no ties to the U.S. Neither of these programs prioritizes the skills of people entering the country.

Yes, and we need a merit-based immigration system, like Australia. Immigration policy must be a net benefit to the American citizenry. These are not cruel proposals, but welcome reforms.

The U.S. is the most generous and welcoming nation in the world, accepting on average more than a million new immigrants every year. But a steady influx of low-skilled labor has depressed wages for workers here at home. That is not putting America first.

Yes! Stop pushing down middle and low-age American workers. This must cease!

These programs have opened our doors to terrorists. The attack in New York City last Halloween that left eight dead and 11 injured was carried out by Sayfullo Saipov, a man from Uzbekistan who entered the U.S. through the Diversity Visa program. One month later, Akayed Ullah, a man from Bangladesh who arrived through chain migration, carried out another attack in New York. These attacks prove that the current system is failing.

Our proposal allows the Justice Department to withhold grants from “sanctuary cities”—jurisdictions that refuse to allow their law-enforcement officers to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, even to the point of preventing Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers from entering local jails to take custody of criminal aliens. Sanctuary cities put innocent lives at risk.

Sanctuary cities must be defunded, and the elected officials who enact these policies need to be arrested

In 2015, many people learned the story of Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, who had been deported on five previous occasions before he was released by San Francisco authorities. He went on to shoot and kill an innocent young woman. Any immigration system that fails to protect the American people has to change.

This illegal alien not only murdered Kate Steinle, but a touchy-feely jury let him off.

Incredible. Where is the justice in our society? Illegal aliens commit crimes and get away with it, while the rest of us sit and wonder why we follow the laws as law-abiding citizens, only to witness our livelihood taken and our lives in danger.

Finally, as requested by President Trump, our bill provides a legislative solution for the beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, who were brought to the U.S. illegally as minors. DACA was first imposed through an unconstitutional abuse of executive power by President Obama in 2012. The Constitution specifically delegates the power to make immigration law to Congress.

This part is no good. It has to be taken out of the bill. DACA is CACA. These young illegals should not be referred to as "beneficiaries." That is very offensive. They did not deserve it, and this gift should have been given to begin with. No legal status for illegal aliens.

Our bill would allow DACA beneficiaries to receive a three-year renewable legal status, codifying the program the right way—by a duly enacted statute. But to be clear, there is no new or special path to citizenship for these individuals in our bill.

No! This part sucks, but everything else is OK.

Importantly, our bill will help ensure that the distressing DACA dilemma does not recur after a few short years. The legislation would end “catch and release,” battle asylum fraud and require that unaccompanied minors caught at the border be treated equally regardless of their home country. Together this will ensure that the law no longer tempts minors and their parents to make the dangerous illegal journey to the U.S.—or to line the pockets of cartels that make a business of supporting these journeys.

Sorry, not acceptable. No amnesty, no legal status, no DACA.

Americans have been debating how to best fix the country’s immigration system for decades. Congress has a unique opportunity to act now, before the country ends up with another large population who crossed the border illegally as children. Let’s take this historic moment to come together and support vital legislation that provides common-sense, reasonable solutions.

The American people have been waiting a long time for their leaders to step up, get the job done, and better protect America. It’s time to deliver.

Yes, but that last part prevents this bill from being a perfect delivery. Nope.

Walker Helps McSally in Re-Election Bid

Governor Scott Walker is a team player.

He was a team player when he ran for Governor of Wisconsin in 2006, and then dropped out to make way for one Republican candidate to compete.

That was a wise move which benefitted him four years later.

He ran in 2010 and won in the Tea Party wave.

He signed off on Act 10 union reforms, which have benefited the Dairy State to this day.

He was a welcome contender for the Presidential nomination. He was presidential, courageous, with a long track record of accomplishments.

I remember during the early days of the 2016 Presidential primary. He was biding his time, raising money. The pollsters were lining up his name, and he was within striking distance of the Establishment leader Jeb Bush and the national front-runner Donald Trump.

But he did not have the media savvy needed to command media attention for the national audience.

He was a bland debater and campaigner.

His most ardent supporters told him that he needed t basically punch someone in the nose during the eleven-person debate in Simi Valley to have a chance.

His polling numbers fell well below the margin of error, too.

And he dropped out of the race for President.

But he did not drop out of the team to help other Republicans win across the country.

Now he's helping Martha McSally.

McSally won a tough contest in Arizona's swing Second District, by the slimmest of margins.

She needs lots of help going into 2016:

Arthur,

We broke barriers when I became the first governor to win a recall election, but that is nothing compared to the barriers Congresswoman Martha McSally has broken down...

She was the first female fighter pilot in American history to fly in combat and to command a fighter squadron in combat. She is the only female GOP veteran serving in the United States House of Representatives, where she is a strong advocate for our Republican agenda.

She is not just a Congresswoman, she is a national hero.

She is facing a tough battle for re-election in Arizona's Second District and needs our help to win.

Martha is focused on national security and keeping our country and communities safe — which is not surprising given her military background and the fact that she hails from a border state. She is leading the fight to secure our borders and defeat ISIS.

A staunch fiscal conservative, Martha is committed to getting our fiscal house in order. She supports initiatives to bring the cost of college down so it isn't bankrupting students and their families — not unlike what we have been working to accomplish in Wisconsin.

Her values are our values.

Stand with Martha today.

As a freshman, Martha quickly emerged as a force to be reckoned with — she has passed eight bills through the House and had two signed into law.

Majority control of Congress is at stake and I urge you to support Martha McSally in her bid to win re-election. Support Martha McSally right now with $10, $35, $50, $100, $175, $250, or more.

To say Martha knows her stuff would be the understatement of the year.

In addition to her military experience, Martha has a Masters Degree from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government in Public Policy and a second Masters Degree from the U.S. Air War College in Public Policy and Strategic Studies, where she graduated #1 in her class of 261 senior military officers.

She is smart, focused, experienced, and being targeted for defeat.

Martha fought hard to win her seat in 2014 — winning by just 167 votes which is way too close for comfort — and the Democrats would love nothing more than to reclaim this highly competitive seat. Millions will be spent on this race between now and Election Day and your strong support is urgently needed.

This race has national implications and we need Martha in Congress fighting for a safe, strong, and secure America.

Please stand with me in support of Martha McSally today.

Thank you,
Scott Walker
