Huntington Park CA, City Council Throws Out Senior Citizen for Exercising His First Amendment Rights

The Huntington Park City Council has gone from rogue appointments to blatant violations of legal resident's Bill of Rights.

The October 6th, 2015 City Council meeting started off calm and quiet. The four council members who vote to appoint the two illegals want to project a veneer that all is well in their city

An extended presentation on the city's finances determined that Huntington Park is outspending its resources, in spite of cuts and rollbacks. Overtime pay has been overused. The city parks are unsafe, with loitering, vandalism, and public intoxication and marijuana use in full force.

The city is not safe or clean, and the rule of law has all but disappeared from the community.

More residents in the city are raising their voices, however, and are holding the city council accountable.

The mayor and her rogue colleagues have not been happy with our ongoing  appeals from the citizens within the city as well as in neighboring communities and throughout Southern California.

At the last city council meeting, during my public comments, Dr. Robert Newman was affirming the comments which I had made, calling out "Yes"! The Mayor then ruled him out of order, then ordered him to be removed from the city council chambers. The police chief and his officers escorted him out of the chambers, then told him that he would not be allowed back in.

He said "Yes" a few times, as did other members of the audience in Council Chambers.

Dr. Robert Newman

The rest of the audience rose up to support Dr. Newman and denounce the city council for ruling Dr, Newman out of order. They were merely interested in silencing an American citizen from exercising his freedom of speech. Newman has been one of the most vocal and erudite of audience members and he has been duly respectful to legal residents and the supporters of the illegal alien appointments as well.

The mayor and her colleagues have been tipping their hand for weeks, and they have looked for every opportunity to silence opposition to their illegal, unjust, and unconstitutional actions.

In previous city council meetings, one speaker, Sergio Infanson, declared that Huntington Park is a "Brown town". Another speaker maligned an African-American woman after she spoke to the council and told her "Go back to Africa!"

No one on the city council ruled those individuals out of order.

People who supported the appointment of two illegal aliens to city commissions would shout out and disrupt people speaking at the podium, and the mayor and city councilmembers said nothing.

Nothing at all.

Mayor Karina Macias has not only violated the sovereignty of the United States, she has pushed aside the Brown Act on numerous occasions. Now she and her corrupt colleagues have violated the First Amendment rights of a California born United States Citizen, Dr. Robert Newman.

This egregious conduct cannot continue unpunished.

Legal residents, born and naturalized, pay their taxes, obey the law, and they get thrown out of city council chambers. Illegal aliens and their backers, who have broken numerous laws on many occasions, receive public appointments and praise.

Up is down, right is wrong, and illegal means nothing to the rogue Huntington Park City Council.
