Romney's Applause Deserves the Honor

The mainstream media has expanded a twenty-second jeer in contrast to the scattered applause and muted respect which Governor Romney received at the 103rd annual NAACP Convention.

Will the press stop at nothing to malign any Republican candidate who reaches out to statistically Democratic constituencies?

To my recollection, Romney was the only 2008 GOP candidate who visited South  Los Angeles, an admirable move, even if he did not shore up enough votes for the GOP primary.

He has spoken with students of color in urban charter schools. Minorities are the most adversely affected by the statist status quo monopoly of government schools, controlled by unions and school boards.

Romney rallied for education reform and free enterprise, two policies which will ingratiate him to the Black community, in contrast to the incumbent, who is more interested in pandering to working class white voters with the same policies that have failed everyone.
