Ron Paul for President -- Some Words About Iran

I do not think that pollsters and pundits should be discouraged or disillusioned by the "isolationist" rhetoric of Congressman Ron Paul.

The libertarian candidate has promoted a diligent foreign policy that promotes our national interests. He authorized force to capture Osama bin Laden. The death of that terrorist mastermind has severely crippled Al-Qaeda operations throughout the Middle East.

Granted, Paul was more concerned about the targeted assassination of Anwar Al-Awlaki, a U.S. Citizen operating within the Yemen branch of Al-Qaeda. Still, major players in the terrorist network have been neutralized; we should not read Paul's libertarian skepticism in so strong a light, considering the dire fiscal challenges that this nation is facing.

Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney are front runners in the polls, but that does not spell out for them or for us confirmed future leaders. Only crazy pundits with nothing better to do vote in these media polls day after day, week after week.

Polls do not elect Presidents. People do.

Congressman Paul is the best candidate for voters who want less government, less regulation, less authority from Washington D.C. We do not need another president pushing a prominent foreign policy. We the People of the United States would be better served by a chief executive who will take charge of the reins of government and rein in the out of control spending that is eating away at our fortunes and future.

Congressman Ron Paul has listened to the demands of the people; he respects their concerns about the economy; he understands their interest in ending long military expeditions which fail to bolster our freedom or secure our borders.

Israel can take care of herself. She does not need the United States diplomatic corps lecturing them on which treaties to sign, which policies to pursue, which enemies to attack.

Israel has nuclear weapons. Israel has a top-notch covert operations force. Israel has dedicated military men and women who serve and stand up for their nation. The United States of America needs to spend more of its time, money, and resources caring for the needs of the American people here at home.

Congressman Ron Paul is dedicated to these propositions for the American People.
