Victory for the People: CCA Quashed in San Bernardino

The Torrance City Council meeting did not vote the way that I wanted them.

Four of the city councilmembers had already expressed deep skepticism about Community Choice Aggregation.

Only one of them voted against continued study of the program. All of them need to vote against it!

So, there is progress. One city councilmember in Torrance is vividly opposed.

But CCA is hitting more roadblocks.

The San Bernardino Council of Governments met at the Old Train Station.

Lots of people from all over Southern California showed up to protest the proposal and to ensure that further study would be killed outright.

I was really impressed how outspoken the city and county elected officials were in their concerns about this Big Green Fraud.

Hey George Lopez, Since Trump Won--When Are You Leaving the United States?

George Lopez is a hard-core, hard-mouthed comedian. He headed a Hispanic-American sitcom on ABC at least a decade ago. Honestly, I found the program very condescending and even a little racist. The program was so dedicated to playing up all these awful Hispanic-Mexican-Latino stereotypes.

The opening credits depicted George and the rest of his family jumping around on a trampoline (not sure why). Later episodes focused on the older daughter's boyfriend issues. There were so many Chicano-racial overtones in the show.

Again, I thought it was kind of ... racist, and I am not Hispanic!

Now, over the past year, we have seen George Lopez' overtly racist side, too.

Check out his comments following Trump's decision to run for President in 2015:

“I’ve never taken him seriously, absolutely not,” he said. “Listen the one thing that he’s done that Latinos have not been able to do is get Latinos to unite against him.”

“You know, I believe that to make America great you need all people here. I don’t believe that targeting Mexicans as criminals and rapists is the answer. I don’t believe that building a wall is an answer.”

When the host asked him if he was familiar with the tweet Trump posted on Cinco de Mayo, Lopez said yes.

“I do follow Donald Trump on Twitter and I’m really hard on him to get him to block me,” he said. “And he will not block me and I’m going to continue to go hard on him.”

Now, Lopez was very familiar with that tweet, and he posted this response:

Hateful and spiteful.

Lopez also promised that he would leave the United States if Donald Trump was elected President.

George Lopez thinks Donald Trump could be America’s next president, but only because there are enough racists in the country to vote for him.

Did you read that? Everyone who voted for Donald Trump is a racist bigot!

Or does Lopez think that these Americans are racist?

Clearly, Lopez is confused or a closet bigot himself.

When a reporter asked the 54-year-old actor if he would consider hosting “Celebrity Apprentice” because NBC reportedly wants its next host to be a minority, Lopez said Latinos are no longer a minority.

“You know how many Latinos are in the United States? I think you better check your stats,” Lopez said. “We’re the largest square majority.”

I am not so sure about that. Population demographics are incredibly fluid.

Lopez was born in California.

“Look I’m not Donald Trump’s secondhand citizen so I don’t think so. Those comments are vile in any civilized society, but there’s freedom of speech. I don’t particularly like what he’s saying, but there is a right to say that.”

What did Trump say that was particularly vile? How do Trump's comments compare to Lopez' hateful rhetoric?

“Immigrants come from all over the world, not just a hole in a fence in Mexico. I’m going to boycott his golf course, but like he cares. He has so much money.”

When asked if Trump could win the presidential election, Lopez said yes.

“There’s enough racists in this country for him to get elected.”

And yes, Lopez is getting ready to leave the country:

Before the election a whole host of Hollywood celebrities vowed to leave the United States if Donald Trump were elected President (see "These Are The Celebrities Who Vowed To Leave America If Trump Wins").  Hispanic comedian George Lopez even said that Trump “won’t have to worry about immigration” if he takes the White House because “we’ll all go back.”

While most celebrities have since clarified that they were just joking around, George Lopez seems to be the one stand out that may have actually been serious.  When recently asked whether he would give Trump a chance, George Lopez responded as follows:

“I’ll give him a chance to suck my ass.  Listen man, I’m in escrow so don’t worry about my residential status. I’m already in escrow, motherfucker. And I’m not going to tell you where I’m going to go because it will drive up real estate prices ’cause by the end of the year no one’s gonna wanna be here.”

“I’ve stopped eating Cheetos, too. Anything orange, I don’t want.”

While we respect George's decision to leave the U.S. and wouldn't dare try to convince him to stay, we do have just one small favor to ask...if possible, might you consider taking Lena Dunham with you?  As a perk, Dunham comes with a free ride in a Gulfstream V courtesy of Martin Shkreli.

Wise Latinas Support Donald Trump!

August 28th, 2016 was the first Latinos por Trump rally that I attended.

I hope it's not the last.

It was really exciting. I was so proud to see so many Americans of diverse backgrounds rallying for national pride, security, and prosperity.

Anaheim, California was a battleground between La Raza activists and American patriots of all colors and backgrounds in May this year.

The city council was entertaining a resolution to condemn Donald Trump's "divisive" rhetoric.

As if!

The truly divisive behavior came from the city councilwoman proposing such an offensive and unnecessary resolution. Residents in the city and throughout the region protested at city hall, then confronted the city council for their perverse agenda item,

It was ultimately withdrawn, but not without intense controversy and opprobrium outside of city hall. Raul Rodriguez of We the People Rising and America First Latinos was assaulted with pepper spray, along with young children. It was a painful sight.

But Latinos who support Donald Trump are not afraid to step up for the New York City Businessman.

Most people need to wake up and recognize that this man is proposing:

1. Secured borders
2. An end to bad trade deals
3. Restored national security
4. Revitalized national prestige

What's not to like?

Now, the Regressive Left wants to shame people with a different skin color into silence.

They are not interested in anyway, particularly Hispanic and African-American voters, to think for themselves.

Why else would the Democratic Party engage in Operation Taco Bow to try to own the Latino vote in the United States?

No one's vote should belong to any one party just because of the color of one's skin.

That is wrong.

Hispanic Americans have natural rights just like everyone else. Haven't we gotten passed these ethnic divides in our country by now? I think people Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, and the rest of the White House Executive team need to listen to Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.

Of course, liberal Democrats are still going to play the race card as much as they can, even if it's all played out.

"Wise Latina" Sonia Sotomayor believed that her ethnicity automatically conferred some kind of wisdom on key issues.

It's time to blast this corrosive nonsense for what it is: racism!

By the way ... wise Latinas support Donald Trump!

The media love to paint a narrative that Donald Trump is an arrogant bigot who hates anyone who does not look him.

The truth is -- he is not a racist.

I  have seen numerous photos of this man, working with men and women of different backgrounds, ethnicities, and age groups.

The race card is one of the most tired and useless attacks now. I have heard it so many times, and have stood up to it myself.

If anyone was paying attention, the Republican Presidential primary had a far more diverse line-up of candidates, including two Latinos, one African-American, and a woman.

The Democratic Party primary had five candidates, and all of them were old and white.

Of course, the political talking heads and elites in the media are obsessed with these identity politics, when all of them need to relisten to Martin Luther King Jr's aspiration and exhortation, that we would all be judged by "the content of our character."

I welcome that Latinos for Trump community for rallying to support their nominee.

I approve their decision to step up and out, and stump for Donald Trump.

The crowd there was really inspiring.

I almost didn't make it to the rally.

I had so much planned ahead for this Sunday, and I wasn't sure I could put in the amount of time to get down to Anaheim.

In the end, I am so glad that I attended this rally!

Raul has supported Donald Trump from the beginning.

He faced prejudice and hatred from some Latinos, but more people of Hispanic descent are not afraid to say that they support Donald Trump.

I may not have liked him at the outset. I have acknowledged a number of times that he was not my first choice.

But that does not mean that he is no choice at all. He is better pick for President than Hillary Clinton, and I will not vote for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein.

The man in the center with the white shirt was born in Texas. His parents were legal Mexican immigrants, and he has the same simple expectation that every person who enters this country does so ... legally.

This is not a racist request.

The man in the center did not hide his support for Donald Trump.

He talked about a variety of issues, including the national debt and national security.

He wants Trump to "Build that wall!"

Everyone in the crowd chanted with him: "Build that Wall! Build that Wall!"

Part of the reason why he and many other Latinos stepped up today to speak out?

They are tired of the media lies overshadowing his widespread support among diverse groups in the United States.

Especially in California!

He also blasted the creepy Saul Alinsky tactics of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party, which shames people into silence with the race card.

These proud Latinos stepped up and showed their vocal and visual support for Donald Trump!

This poster really caught my eye:

This man saw me walking up the steps toward Anaheim city hall.

Apparently, he had been there before the meeting even bega,: "You missed the opening prayer!" he told me.

This gentleman below helped organize the event. He offered to take a picture with me at the end of the rally/press conference:

I was honored to take the photo above, especially as I was wearing a T-Shirt from the Remembrance Project.

Marcello Bisarello was killed by a drunk-driving illegal alien last November. What a tragedy, and right there in Santa Ana, California. If our country's leaders had simply enforced the immigration laws, Marcello and thousands of other American citizens would be alive today.

Here he is speaking at the outset of the meeting.

Unlike many immigrants and illegal aliens, he listed the many reasons that he is grateful to the United States of America. This country gave him a new life, safety, a career, a wonderful wife and family.

This is your country, he told us.

"It's yours, too!" I shouted back. Everyone cheered.

She rejoiced that like many minorities, she escaped from the Democratic Party "plantation" a long time ago!
