Response to "Giants Stand Up to Pride"
Sir : No, pride is NOT a "deadly sin ". There is pride and then there pride . Being proud OF someone or something is NOT the same as the kind of arrogant, egotistical pride of Adolf Hitler ;
Parents being proud of their children's academic achievements in school is not a "deadly sin " ., and so on .
What is wrong with gay pride ? Absolutely nothing . Gay people have been demonized and hated for far too long by western society
What the Bible says about homosexuality is nothing but blind, irrational superstition . Yet this has led to mindless fear and hatred of homosexuality among Christians worldwide which has resulted in horrendous treatment of gays over the centuries , The same of Islam , and even today homosexuality is so reviled among Muslims that the Islamic theocracies of Iran, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan execute homosexuals in barbaric ways ,.
And even in the US , there a a number of vile, fanatical evangelical preachers who openly call for our government to EXECUTE gays . The worst of these was the late infamous, unlamented "preacher " Fred Phelps who with his family and followers protested with
hideously hateful signs bearing the most appallingly bigoted slogans .. You can still see vicious "sermons " by fanatically homophobic preachers on You Tube ,
These alleged "men of God " are morally no better than Hitler in his insane rage against the Jews , And while "Mass Resistance " doesn't openly call for the execution of gays it is still A hate group and should be condemned by all decent fair-minded Americans along with other allegedly "pro family organizations .
Mass Resistance is NOT "pro family ,." It is pro BIGOTRY .. And people like you who work for such hate groups are professional bigots . I am not gay myself , but like so many heterosexual Americans I find homophobic bigotry repugnant in the extreme , and I would NEVER vote for any politician who was opposed to gay rights .
And I have zero sympathy for those Giants who "spoke our " against Pride Week or professional bigots like yourself ,
Like it or not , there is far less stigmatization of gay people not only in America but western European countries , Israel and other countries . More and more people now have the decency to mind their own business .
And anyway , who appointed YOU and your ilk to be official US busybodies with the alleged "right " to stick your slimy little noses into other people's bedrooms, judge them and demand that they be demonized, stigmatized and be treated as second lass citizens just because YOU "disapprove of what they do in private ?
The whole gay rights movement began many years ago because gay Americans refused to continue living in fear of being discovered , rejected and disinherited by their parents , rejected by society , fired from their jobs even if they had been exemplary employees ,
put in prison even though they had never harmed anyone , and even sent to mental institutions where they were subject to brutal electric shock therapy which would allegedly "cure " them of their homosexuality even though it did nothing but harm them mentally and physically . Some were even LIOBOTOMIZED !
But America must NEVER return to such barbarity . We cannot and must never turn back the clock to that awful period .
Unfortunately , the religious right , which is the American Taliban is determined to undo all the progress America has made in our time in gay rights .
Even worse , there quite a few Republican members of congress who support depriving gay Americans of their rights and openly call for this .
And Donald Trump, who had never been opposed to gay rights , cynically became homophobic when he first began to run for president in order to gain support and votes from the Christian Taliban , assorted leading American preachers and conservative Christian citizens .
This shows you how utterly cynical and unprincipled he is . He has no core principles and conveniently changes his views on the issues in order to tell people what they want to hear . Donald Trump is a demagogue . Biden, Obama and Bill Clinton are statesmen ..
This is one of the many reasons why Donald Trump is the most evil and dangerous American in the history of this country .. In both his presidential terms , the Republican party has attempted to introduce numerous Ant-Gay bills into congress ,
and this is extremely ominous ..
Trump , the Republicans and the conservative media constantly whine and scream about how much they want "freedom and Liberty " ( which both mean the same thing ) , bit they want only freedom for themselves to tell others what they may or may not do in the privacy of their own homes .
If it is permissible for say, Christian bakers to refuse to bake cakes for gay couples, then it should also be permissible for gays who run bakeries to refuse to serve Christians , and it should also be permissible Non-Christians who operate businesses of any religion to refuse to serve
Christians .
"Religious freedom " does not mean the alleged "right of Christians to refuse to serve gay people .
Equal rights are equal rights for every American regardless of race , gender , religion or sexual preference .
So if you're "offended " by Pride Month , well too bad . GET OVER IT !!!

Your premise is flawed.
No one is "born that way," since there is no gay gene, but rather ample evidence that homosexuality results from abuse, neglect, confusion, molestation, and shame; therefore, treating such behaviors as an identity is a falsehood.
Looking up Psychological Reports, you will find that homosexuals suffer a 20% average reduction in their lifespans, and that is in the most LGBT affirming countries.
Furthermore, the attacks on individuals' natural rights, like the attacks against the SF Giants players, have all ensued because of this LGBT madness.
We could talk about the other health and mental issues associated with homosexuality, as well, but I encourage you to check out the book Health Hazards of Homosexuality to get all the information you need on those sordid subjects:
Finally, I recall in your remarks about the pride of Adolph Hilter. You probably are not aware of this, but most of the Nazi leadership and SA members were homosexuals, and they set up the Hitler Youth movement to serve as a honey pot for Nazi pederasty.
