Open Letter to Fake Rabbi Rebeccah Yussman of Black Lives Matter, El Segundo

Dear Ms. Yussman:

From this point forward, I will not call you "Rabbi", since such a title belongs only to those well-read as well as well-researched in Torah.

I would like to inform you that some of your BLM activists harassed a resident in the city of El Segundo last week. A group of girls who were standing with you spotted one of our activists purchasing something at an El Segundo Starbucks. These girls began harassing and yelling vile things at her. Such behavior is absolutely shameful. 

As someone who professes great knowledge of the Torah and the other writings, how can you stand by and allow such injustice?

צֶ֥דֶק צֶ֖דֶק תִּרְדֹּ֑ף (Devarim 16:20)

"Absolute righteousness you pursue." You should know that a repetition of a noun, as in the verse above, signals a sense of superlative emphasis. 

Speaking of righteousness, regardless of whatever degrees you claim to have earned, the very fact that you believe that homoseuxality and transgenderism are compatible with any reading of G-d's Word is nothing short of un-righteous (Lo tzedek). Furthermore, the fact that you would divide Jewish communities by talking about "white Jews" and "Jews of color" is nothing short of shameful.

Such division is in itself racist, if not outright anti-Semitic. Jews have been victimized all over the world and for generations, and yes it is systemic. The Russian Czars imposed horrific pogroms against Jewish communities for decades. The perverse forgery "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" was crafted precisely to wipe out Jewry from eastern Europe. The Ottomans imposed taxes on Jewish (and Christian) communities in their empire, when they did not persecute them outright. And who can forget the systematic--systemic!--extermination of Jews in Europe during World War II under Hitler's Third Reich. If those acts of racism are not systemic, I don't know what is!

Jewish identity is rooted in descendance from Abraham, not on skin color, or even other national status. Any proper reading of Torah would have made this clear to you.

The term "zakar" indicates not merely man, but male, the clear sexual characteristics (zakar can also speak of the male member).

Vayikra 20:13 confirms this sin, and in that verse man is "ish", which speaks of mankind. 

The Original Hebrew could not be clearer: "You shall not lie with man as with a woman. It is an abomination."

Yes, clearly declared. There is no interpretive spin or corruption which justifies homosexuality in G-d's Word. None.

Furthermore, the common refrains to reject this verse will point to the fact that there are prohibitions against shellfish. However, eating unclean food is not listed as an "abomination".

Furthermore, the sins (chatta'im) of Sodom and Gomorrah was NOT their lack of hospitality, generosity, or promiscuity, but the sin of sodomy, of homosexuality:

"Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good." (Yetzeqiel, 16:49-50)

Ms. Yussman, it is wrong for you to mislead youth and adults.

It is wrong for you to teach what is wrong and evil, as though it is good (Isaiah 5:20)

It is wrong to promote racism, while claiming that you are promoting equity. "Black Lives Matter" ignores the fact that to G-d, all lives are precious, for G-d declared "Let Us make men in our image, in our likeness." (Genesis 1:26). There is no indication or distinction or limitation based on skin color or national status.

In fact, Moshe clear condemns such partial judgment:

"One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD." (Numbers 15:15)

One could render "stranger" to speak to all manner of peoples who are not Jewish. There is to be no partiality, not tipping of one's hand in justice or judgment.

Please, make some effort to read Torah apart from the perverted shades and biases of corrupted teachers. And stop promoting hatred and abuse to children and adults alike.
