Let the teachers go on strike.
I am sure that there are plenty of unemployed teachers throughout the country will be more than happy to cross the petty picket line and break this union.
Teachers unions had their place --a long time ago. Now unions just take money from their teachers, whether they join or not, and spend the money on buying politicians to support overly lavish pensions and benefits which hurt everyone, including the very teachers whom they claim to represent and the schools where they work.
What irony -- "Hope and Change" Democrat Rahm may be to teachers unions what GOP Gov Scott Walker was for unions in Wisconsin.
