Election Integrity Project: What Else You Can Do to Help

 

August 17, 2021   I DIDN’T/COULDN’T ATTEND AN EIPCa OBSERVER TRAINING HOW CAN I HELP NOW?   Though EIPCa in in the process of training almost 4,000 volunteers to observe the election process, we know there are many people who could not volunteer with EIPCa. The good news is that every citizen in California has the right per California election law to observe every aspect of the election process.   There are things any citizen can do to provide meaningful citizen oversight of election activities without formal observer training.   Issues, aka anomalies, or concerns can be reported to EIPCa using the Citizen Incident Statement you can download from https://www.eip-ca.com/incident.htm   Visit a ballot collection center at poll closing time. Stay 2-3 hours. Look for: organization, coordination, competence of workers chain of custody paperwork for ballot transfer security of storage area to prevent addition or removal of ballot containers awaiting transport 2-person chain of custody for all transfers of ballot containers Visit a ballot drop box at 8:00 p.m. on Election night an election official should lock the box at 8:00 p.m. exactly to accept no more ballots two officials should empty and transport ballots to processing center, leaving box empty ballots should be handled with care to avoid damage Visit a ballot drop box the morning after Election Day Is it still locked? Is there any action surrounding the box?  Visit a ballot drop box location at any time during the 29 days prior to September 14 Is it staffed? Is the area safe? Well lighted at night? Is there any indication of how often it is emptied? If you are there when it is emptied, are ballots handled with care? Listen to family, friends, neighbors, community are there any discussions regarding irregularities (not receiving a ballot, receiving 2 ballots, receiving a wrong ballot, etc) received duplicate ballots: vote one, shred the other, notify ROV received ballot(s) for deceased, moved or stranger? Photograph front and back of UNOPENED envelope, print and include as attachment to Citizen Incident Statement; return to USPS. August 16, 2021   SHOULD I VOTE BY MAIL?   There is definitely a time for casting an absentee ballot: ill or immobile voters, travelers, military, etc. EICa recommends voting in person if at all possible.   BUT the only way to ensure INTEGRITY in the election process is to limit voting by mail to those who have no other choice.   VOTING IN PERSON VOTING BY MAIL   perceived as less convenient   deterrent against multiple or fraudulent votes   guarantees privacy   guarantees vote submitted without alteration   assures prompt counting   assures ALL voters have access to ALL information before voting   fosters the communal aspect of citizens voting together   eliminates threat of ballot harvesting   BY THE WAY:   turn-out increases in ALL demographics when ID is required   MANDATORY VOTE BY MAIL: does not increase turnout or save $$   disenfranchises those without mailing address and those who cannot go to ROV office or vote center if ballot does not reach them   negatively impacts handicapped voters     “convenient”   open to successful multiple registrations and fraudulent votes   no guarantee of privacy   no guarantee your vote arrives untouched, unaltered, or at all   delayed counting; rejection potential   often duplicated; original not counted = easy manipulation   encourages EARLY voting, i.e., voting before all information is in   harvesting danger   submitting in person does NOT change the processing disadvantages   Remote Access Vote by Mail for non-handicapped or deployed military poses greater risk to secret ballot and ballot manipulation, as well as fraudulent voting         RECOMMENDATIONS:    Do NOT vote using an envelope unless absolutely necessary   Strongly oppose any attempt to move California to ALL Vote By Mail elections     EIPCa is a nonpartisan IRC 501(c)(3) charity. EIP Applauds President's New Election Commission

Alert! California's Election Integrity Project, Inc. Applauds President Trump's Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity      California's Election Integrity Project, Inc. (EIP) applauds President Trumpfor his initiative in taking a positive and decisive step to investigate the integrity of America's electoral processes. As an organization that has worked tirelessly for over six years to investigate, thoroughly document and expose the severe Civil Rights violations occurring in California at the hands of a sloppy, lawless and corrupt system, we are encouraged by the president's bold acknowledgement that American citizens deserve better.   Since our inception in December, 2010, California's (EIP) has recruited a top-notch data team that has documented the hundreds of thousands of deceased and duplicate voters on the California voter rolls, and hundreds of people registered and voting in more than one county. But after providing this information to county officials year after year, there has been almost no action or desire to clean up the mess. As a result, our research shows that alarming numbers of deceased and duplicates remain on the rolls, and votes are being recorded in those names in numbers large enough to swing local, and in some cases statewide elections.   California's Election Integrity Project, Inc. has trained approximately 7,000 citizen volunteers from all over the state: from Shasta county in the north, to San Diego county in the south; from the Bay area to the counties bordering Nevada; from counties in the Central Coast and the Central Valley to Los Angeles county, the most populated county not only in California but in the nation with over 5 million registered voters.   Those volunteers fanned out to observe election procedures in the major elections of 2012, 2014, and 2016, and in numerous local and special elections in between. They have provided incident reports that tell a frightening story about how unprotected Californians' votes really are because of lax laws, lack of enforcement of state and federal election law, poor or incorrect training of poll workers and insecure registration and voting procedures.   In August of 2015, the California Advisory Committee to the U. S. Commission on Civil Rights took a full day of testimony from citizens from all parts of California, and from California's Election Integrity Project, Inc. spokespersons, which painted a vivid picture of how deeply and consistently the electoral process violates the Civil Rights of all California citizens. In what may be an unprecedented effort to protect the wrongdoing and the wrong doers, the resulting report of the Committee was first heavily redacted and then "lost" in the bureaucracy. It has yet to be published and released.   California's Election Integrity Project, Inc. is prepared to work with President Trump's commission by providing our expertise and six years of documented evidence that has resulted in our ability to create a blueprint of how unconstitutional laws, noncompliance with state and federal laws, and voting procedures that have deteriorated into criminal behavior and intimidation of citizens in the polls. California's Election Integrity Project, Inc. is working to seek justice for California citizens by filing legal action this year to address the issues that have plagued and destroyed the integrity of California's election process!   The citizens of every state in the union will be the beneficiaries of the work of President Trump's commission. For the first time in a long time, we now have hope that our greatest right as American citizens, the civil right to elect those who will represent and govern us through a fair, honest and non-discriminatory process will be restored.
