I was the victim of a hit-and-run crash yesterday; fortunately, I wasn't hurt, and my car is still drivable because the impact happened on the back door of my right passenger side.
The Passenger side is useless now. Anyway, I was going through a green light; the other driver was speeding through a red, and BAM! It happened in Moreno Valley at approximately 7:10-7:15 am on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
The Cops can't really do anything because even though I got the car's license plate since he lost his front bumper, the car isn't registered. They tracked it down to a couple who said they sold it three years ago to some Hispanic guy in his 20s. So there's an unregistered car, and an uninsured, possibly even unlicensed and illegal driver running around with a penchant for speeding and running red lights who will flee the scene of a crash he's responsible for if he can.
Also, the cops say they can't prove anybody was driving the car since I never saw the driver, and I barely even saw the car. I was driving through The Intersection of Manzanita and Perris on my way home from Sunnymead Ranch, where I work as a Security Guard for an HOA. I only have Liability Insurance for my car; they won't pay to fix the damage.
This guy needs to be found, not because I can get anything from him to fix this, but because he's dangerous. He probably will do this again, and next time hurt or kill somebody, maybe a bunch of people. The cops say the car is seen most often driving around San Bernardino, especially Grand Terrace, and has only been seen in Moreno Valley less than half a dozen times.
