To Save California, Demand Assembly Democrats Vote NO! on SB1146

Randy Thomasson of Save California has released a comprehensive list of assembymembers to contact between now and Thursday.

SB 1146 is destructive to First Amendment rights, particularly religious liberty.

This Kill Christian Colleges bill must be stopped.

And its latest iteration and amendments do not make it any better.

It's a bad bill!

Follow the directions on this page.

Even if your assemblyman is not on the list, call the ones who are listed!

SB 1146 is so bad, it can't be 'fixed' -- so kill it!
Assembly floor vote on anti-religious-freedom bill could now be August 19

Hi Arthur Christopher,

You and I are zealously opposed to those who try to take away our God-given conscience and First Amendment right of religious freedom.

That's why you and I so dislike the amended SB 1146, which gives California state government unprecedented, unconstitutional, and subjective powers over Christian colleges.

Today, SaveCalifornia.com distributed our hard-hitting analysis to 100 of 120 state legislators. We also talked personally at the Capitol with 5 state legislators -- 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats -- about why the amended SB 1146 must be stopped.

See why SB 1146 is so bad:
Please read and share our latest analysis

Arthur Christopher, you've probably guessed it, but I'll say it just the same -- SB 1146 is so bad, it can't be "fixed" as some would like to do. No, the only way to "fix" SB 1146 is to kill it! And if you squeeze off some brief voicemails to these deciding votes tonight, you can help defeat SB 1146 on the Assembly floor. Will you do your part...right now?

CALL THE DECIDING VOTES FROM 6PM TO 8AM

Please leave brief voicemail messages at their Capitol offices (and also, if you can, their district office), but don't identify yourself.

Just say something like: "Oppose the amended SB 1146. This bill still harms religious freedom and unconstitutionally puts the State in charge of religious matters. The amended SB 1146 is offensive in how it violates the boundary between secular and sacred. Please vote no."
