About Eshman's "Choice"

Mr. Eshman characterized the 2012 Election as clothespin vote. On one side, there is President Obama, whose promised hope in 2008 offered little change after four years, except massive unemployment, economic stagnation, and foreign policy failures. On the other side, there is Romney whose change may offer little hope, since he pledged to rescind all sequestered cuts while cutting taxes for everyone and pledging no specifics for cutting spending. Such is the debacle of General Election politics in American Government in regards to our chief executive.
For this reason, Congress writes the laws, while the President is supposed to enforce the law, nothing more. Obama has often bypassed Article One of the Constitutional entirely, with executive orders ranging from preventing federal funding for abortion in ObamaCare to dismissing Congress and issuing a reprieve for all illegals who were brought into this country at a young age.
This country needs the rule of law, not just hope and change. For that reason alone, Romney deserves to be President. He brought the rule of law to Massachusetts, and whether flawed or lauded, Romney can bring a better game, even if the voters suspect little will get done in the next four years.
